I am an AA female supporter of Hillary, one of her 8% AA voters. Please don't do injustice to affirmative action. As I said in an earlier comment, Obama gives affirirmative action a bad name in that in the past it was enacted so that "well qualified" blacks would be allowed opportunities that were denied to them due to race. Obama is not qualified for president, therefore he just wants whites to make him the affirmative action president without qualifications.

Obama lied to blacks in the SC primary by racially smearing the Clintons and playing on their feelings of pride. Just remember we are about 12% of the population, including men, women and children. Conservatively speaking about a half would be eligible voters due to age and circumstance leaving about 6%. Only about a half of the 6% are registered voters leaving anywhere from 3 to 4%. Of those 100% will not vote. Let's say 70% will vote. That leaves maybe (70% of 3 or 4%) that is 2 to 3% voting for Obama.

Obama knows that blacks cannot win this race for him. That is why his surrogates alway try to claim that whites are racists if they do not vote for him in order to guilt trip you into voting for him. PLEASE DON'T DISAPPOINT ME BUT GIVE HIM THE STUNNING DEFEAT HE DESERVES. I will help you with my one vote.

As my 28 year old AA daughter would say "Q that". Obama wants whites to make him the affirmative action president but as you say to become that he has to be qualified and HE IS NOT. Also being a race baiter (as he exhibited against the Clintons in SC) and race agitator like a black Geoge Wallace disqualifies him too.

That's exactly what I saw at the end. I told my sister. Watch his body language. He knew his prepped performance did not meet his own standard when at the end he hugged his wife, tried to bravely smile then got the h*ll off the stage instead of hanging around for an adoring audience to shower him with adulation.

Obama treated Hillary with the same contempt and disrespect. Instead of referring to her as Senator Clinton, most of the time he referred to her as "Hillary" in a condencending tone. This is his way of trying to bring people down beneath his "level". You see he is a lying phony. I can say that with complete honestry because I am AA and I have seen this type of "thug mentality" many times during my life.

UPDATE TO MR. PHILLIP BERG’S LAWSUIT AGAINST BARACK OBAMA BASED ON OBAMA’S INELIGIBILITY ON HIS CANDIDACY AS REGARDS THE REQUIREMENTS OF NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Partial excerpt from an email I sent Mr. Berg:

“I trust the judge did not originally dismiss your lawsuit because it does indeed have merit. We, as Americans, in order to fulfill the intent and directive of our Constitution are bound by patriotic duty to determine the legal status of any citizen running for the Presidency of the United States; such determination of status having to do with a requirement that said citizen must be a natural born citizen. Mr. Obama should be required to present pertinent evidence that would allow a judge or qualified public official to determine if he is, or is not, a natural born citizen. It is a legal requirement.”

Mr. Berg sent this copy of Mr. Obama’s and the DNC’s response.

Update: http://www.nextgenerationcorp.com/NextGenBlog/?p=66

It appears that Mr. Obama is trying to stall the matter. The outstanding issue is Mr. Obama’s birth certificate (Certificate of Live Birth). It appears that so far he has obfuscated this issue as well by providing, or having his agents provide, a false certificate of birth for publication.

But to Mr. Obama’s determent, the people of the United States of America demand that he (Mr. Obama) remove himself from eligibility to run for any political office for which he is not qualified and/or for which he (Mr. Obama) will not publicly present authoritative qualification for his candidacy as required by the Constitution of the United States of America.

God bless.

Obama was on Letterman months before he announced his intention to run and Dave asked if he planned to. Obama's response was that there was a short window of time when people are clammoring for you to run and if you decide you're not ready yet they may not still be clammoring for you when you feel you are ready.

I knew then was going to run and I also knew it was only because he thought he could win and not because he thought he was prepared for the job or the best person to lead the country during this time.

It reminded me of Bush -- I want it because I can get it not because I'm qualified. The selfishness is mind boggling.

It was great that McCain wouldn't let him interrupt. Just kept talking without raising his voice as Obama was and Obama finally had to shut up each time.

McCain was well prepped on how to deal with Obama's petulance during debates.

Wouldn't it be amazing if these polls were all rigged? Here in Virginia only died-in-the-wool Democrats are carrying around Obama bumper stickers.
I noticed that Obama could not answer the question on what he would cut back on in light of the bailout. Did you notice he actually ADDED a few programs?
Also when Obama closed with the refrain about his father being a sheep herder, I wonder how he has been getting away with that. His father was sent to the US from a pool of privileged members of his tribe. He later held a government post as ane economist until he died in a drunk driving accident. Nothing bucolic about that.

I live in Northern Virginia in the bluist part of the state and participated in the rally that attracted 23,000 McCain/Palin supporters. There was hardly any publicity, just a bunch of emails sent over a couple of days. The crowd was enthusiastic to say the least. We all took signs to set out and you could see the suppoet. For a while there were no Obama signs becasue the Obama local headquarters didn't have any in stock. (Good management?)I set one out only to have it stolen and replaced with a local republican sign. That was a cheap shot and still makes me made as I would never do that as much as Obama signs make be want to barf. There is an immaturity issue among OB's supporters and a sense of entitlement that makes it "ok" for them to cheat. I believe that the pollsters are cheating too. That's why I don't believe that OB is ahead in Virginia either.

Ombama's ignorance clearly showed when McCain gave a lengthy detailed answer about Georgia and Russia, and Jim asked Obama if he agreed with it. Obama had a look on his face like he didn't understand a word McCain had said, and just said yes he agreed. I wish Jim would have followed up with, "Which parts specifically and can you elaborate on anything McCain said?" because I think Obama would have had no choice but to say he agreed in its entirety and no elaboration was necessary.

You know if Biden had given that answer and Palin just said she agreed, the moderator would have been grilling her under a spot light for details to prove she understood.

Your point is extremely important because the MSM has written disparaging pieces on Palin's response to a CBS interview with Couric relating to Kissinger BEFORE the debate. They are getting their questions right out of the Obama Camp and perpetuating Obama's mischaracterizations.

I am interested by your comment as I could never put my finger on why Barky's voice was so grating. The rhythm is also contrived. A few words and then a rising tone followed by a stop. As if to say "do you believe me so far?"

Ms. Misdeamenor:

35 of us watched the debates ranging from age 20 to age 85, all of us democrats, most Obama supporters, some Hillary supporters, some leaning towards McCain. We spent 2 hours picking the debates apart, as the group of 17 college students are Poli Sci and history majors. Unanimous consensus - McCain took the debate. The Obama supporters were very unhappy about it.

Wow, I watched the debate last night and couldn't believe how presidential Obama sounded. While McCain, once again was the "Get off my lawn!" old, confused man. It is such a shame that the RNC would allow McCain to be embarrassed like that. Have they no respect for what McCain used to be. Now he's just a confused and impotent old man walk around with sagging depends. So very sad.

Irish

I lived half my life outside the US. My mother's family immigrated here after the Soviets occupied their country, and my uncle was drafted into the army as a flight surgeon without having received internship. He loved and served this country well, and I love it too. You can identify, and love your country no matter how long you've lived in it. It has to be in your heart.

I think too many other influences have created the distance between Obama and the USA.

This is "perfect harmony" with Obama!

For some reason now, colors are brighter, the air is cleaner and the bird songs are cheerier.
