Yes, the red flags about Obama as the anti-democracy candidate came up for me in our Precinct Convention in March.
The fraud and thundery during our caucuses in Texas disturbed me. As an elected Hillary delegate to go to our senate conventions, more of the same occurred.
When we challenged the precinct caucus results, the credentials committee gave us 15 minutes to make our case. Obama’s team got 30, they were yelling and screaming and accusing us of LYING.
That is what Obama has done from day one. Hillary was painted as the worst liar and he just kept that theme going… all the while, he continued to skirt the truth, tell half truths, technical truths or outright lies with limited examination from the media.
Before I witnessed these things, I thought I could vote for Obama if he became our nominee. After witnessing the brown shirts in action, I realized that our democratic republic was fragile and many of our freedoms, such as freedom of speech, are at risk with him as POTUS.

Prior restraint of free speech brings no hope, brings unwanted, unwarranted change, is a very old style of politics, and is fundamentally unamerican. It appears that the Oblockhead campaign is using the “if you can’t convince with your ideas, muzzle the opponent’s ideas”.
It also brings up a disturbing scenario concerning the Patriot Act (which, by the way, is actually the last refuge of scoundrels act) wherein Oblockhead, if elected, could use the uncontitutional powers granted by that act to stifle dissent completely. The act should have never seen the light of day but it is currently on the books, can lead to a great deal of illegal mischief, and we are stuck with it, for now.
So to go along with my oft-repeated insistence that Oblockhead is unfit and unqualified, I will add dangerous to our Constitutional Republic. That is his third strike, as far as I am concerned (not that I actually needed another).

I just read some of the comments from the closed thread about protesting at 0bama rallies. I would like to recommend that anyone doing this make sure that you video tape it and upload it to youtube.
This is to make sure it gets viewed even if the msm won’t cover it. Don’t be so sure that the media is going to cover protests. They ignored many PUMA protests at the end of the Primary.
I don’t live in a swing state so neither of the candidates will be spending any time here. I can get to PA to protest so any PA protesters, please post info.

What they are proposing is almost word for word what was included in the “Alien & Sedition Acts signed into law in 1798, which Thomas Jefferson allowed to expire in 1801. The Alien & Sedition Acts or “An Act for the Punishment of Certain Crimes against the United States” set out punishments of up to two years’ imprisonment for “opposing or resisting any law of the United States” or writing or publishing “false, scandalous, and malicious writing” about the President or Congress (but specifically not the Vice-President).
Isn’t that similar to what the Obama campaigned has enlisted these yahoo prosecutors to do?
And the closest thing to this type of witch hunt is what Senator Joseph MacCarthy did with the alleged communists. The most famous words spoken against that disgusting period in our history were those of Boston lawyer Joseph Welch speaking to Senator Joseph McCarthy on June 9, 1954: “Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness…. You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”
This proposal deserves the same response.

Obama claims to be a specialist in constitutional law. He knows, or should know, that what his Truth Squad proposes to do is in direct violation of the First Amendment.

First thing I did when I woke up this morning was to grab my daily Kansas City Star, a Missouri newspaper, and look to see if there was anything about this story. Nope. Not a word. Based on the last link, it would appear that while they both have “truth squads”, notice the difference between their respective advocates…
Obama’s truth squad seems to involve people who have very direct ties to punitive threat and action. While it would appear to me, that McCain’s truth squad is there for refuting and supporting McCain’s efforts.

On Saturday when I saw the first news report about the MO Truth Squad, I was horrified. But on reflection, it made no sense at all.
