What do 5-12 year-olds know about politics?? This is some pretty creepy shit. All that is missing is the aye, aye hail Hitler gesture. The parents should be flogged!

Yeah, of course . Just like Obama changed the course of his brother’s life who lives in a hut on $12 a year. Of course under an Obama presidency that may be a lot of money to earn in a year.

Is the conductor a recovering drug addict? And does anyone notice how the parents narcissistically project their fantasies onto these poor children?

Obama is turning out to be The Big Let-Down of ’08.
Obama kept insinuating that He is The Second Coming but every time we’ve held our breaths waiting for him to change water into wine, we’ve been disappointed. Obama kept telling us to ‘tune in next week!’ and he never delivers, the miracle never comes. There is nothing there.
Obama’s has a problem with clarity. I have systematically studied both his autobiographies and I still don’t know what kind of man I’m dealing with. When he was first showcased on TV, my interest was aroused. I used to find Obama enigmatic, but now he just comes off as vacuous, empty.
Obama’s two books address the questions of “Journey of Discovery to Where?” and “Who Am I?” We can all relate to such pondering. But Obama does not give us an answer. If he has found the answer since publishing those two books two years ago then he hasn’t told us yet.
McCain has been on a longer and harder personal journey. There can be nothing more extreme than surviving daily torture for five years. Can you imagine that? To be beaten day-in and day-out, starved, your hands and legs bound by chains? McCain already knows what he can take, and humbly knows where he breaks. Every man and woman has a breaking point. It is very human. McCain already knows his, even though he held out as long as he could.
What trials or stories of human devastation has Obama endured? I can’t imagine being Black in America is an easy thing. But Obama was raised in Polynesia by white grandparents and then went on to Harvard, community service, the Senate, and now the presidency. Obama’s journey seems to have been very easy. His skin color opened all the right doors for him instead of slamming them shut. Obama didn’t march against segregation. Obama didn’t fight for affirmative action. He planted no tree. He carried no water for that tree. Obama has just come along and picked the fruits. That is easy street. This is not a great American story. This is not a triumph of will over adversity. This is a story of baby-boomer entitlement. This is the story of the yuppy next door. These stories are a dime a dozen on aisle 3 at Whole Foods.
You may agree or disagree with McCain but at least you know where he stands. He has a long track record to judge him by. McCain has a long list of hits and misses. He has made mistakes (like us all) but that is because he had been trying to do things and change things all his life. Obama markets himself as the candidate with an unblemished record, but that is only because he doesn’t have a record. We have nothing to judge Obama by. All he gives us is his word and we are supposed to put all our trust in his future promises. But these promises keep changing: Obama has produced two contradictory promises on Iraq, two contradictory promises on NAFTA, and two contradictory promises on taxes. Are we supposed to judge him by the original promise he made, or by his most recent one? The candidate who flows with the changing winds of polls is the lightweight. That much we know.
I feel very embarrassed for buying into the Obama phenomena. Maybe now that the weather is changing I see things in a new light. I feel sheepish for falling for the marketing pitch. Where do I go to get a refund?
I think that many voters like me are looking for clarity in our next president. I feel I know what kind of man McCain is, and that I can trust him. McCain gets my vote.

I couldn’t watch this all the way through because I had to barf for Dear Leader.

The children’s sing-fest is beyond creepy. And Flineo’s vid, posted above, is as effective [perhaps more so] as the first time I viewed it. Brilliant job!

But back to kids. This so smacks of blindness, some sort of trance-like psychosis that I’m beginning to worry about that old-fashion notion of critical thinking–looking at the object, the issue, the message from all sides. Cults do this. Repressive governments do this. There is but one opinion, one point of view. What could these adults be thinking?

Oh, that’s right we’re going to change the world.

I listened to a BBC bit this afternoon, while on the road. The broadcast was from Belfast and at the end of the hour, the interviewer asked: On the question of true leadership, how do you view the American candidates for POTUS? One of the American respondents said that Obama’s ideas were not new or different, but it was all about the “fresh” presentation and delivery. You could see it in Obama’s face, the respondent went on. He looks like a God.

The audience laughed, nervously.

And so they should. Obama = God.

This isn’t just creepy. It’s downright dangerous.

Thank you Susan. I was unaware of the little boy, Curtis. Now I know and I will remember about him when I vote for McCain/Palin. And Chicago is no better many people have been killed there this summer. I saw the number somewhere and it is disturbing. Obama has never done anything for IL and especially Chicago. There is a video out there done by Latinos in Chicago….I don’t remember the name of it but basically they said Obama has done nothing for them. One of the most ironic things….there is a picture of a neighborhood grocery store, it is a store that all Latinos shop at and they say Obama has never visited it….I am not one to hate, but I honestly detest Obama and his wife. I think it really says something about the Obamas when they won’t send their girls to the public schools in Chicago. It sent me back years….Hillary and Bill wanted to send Chelsea to public schools in DC but were told that her Secret Service detail just wouldn’t fit into that type of classroom environment and that is why Chelsea ended up in a private school. For the Obama’s I guess there was never any thought then private schools. I feel a great deal of empathy for the Obama girls because they are being raised by a very angry mother and a clueless father….maybe they are being raised with the sense they are owed everything too!

“Sing for Change” is soooooooooo creepy!

This reminds me of when I was back in Cuba as a little girl in kindergarten. We were made to sing praises to Fidel and this is exactly what it looked/sounded like.

Also the teacher would ask for us to sit down at our desks, bow our heads, and pray to God for some ice cream. Of course, after she told us to open our eyes there was no ice cream. Then she would ask us to do the same, this time asking Fidel for the ice cream. When we were told to open our eyes they’d placed an ice cream cup in front of each one of us and we were then asked to give praise to Fidel for providing us with all our needs.

Indoctrination of the youth, the simplest way to spread the Communist propaganda. After all, children are pretty much a clean slate and you can easily program their minds with whatever heinous doctrines you want to put there without too much effort.

Sing for Change chronicles a recent Sunday afternoon in Venice, when 22 children, ages 5-12, gathered to sing original songs in the belief that their singing would lift up our communities for the coming election.

Sing for Change was a confluence of grassroots work, good will, and shared vision the first of which was the music itself. Inspired by ideas raised at a grassroots Obama fundraiser, a music teacher, Kathy Sawada, and the children composed and rehearsed the songs in less than two weeks. Several musicians heard of the effort and volunteered to accompany the children. Parents and older siblings designed and provided the T-Shirts and the banner. There’s a first for everything, but rarely do so many firsts come together at once: for the children and their parents, this is their first performance, first video, first banner, and first involvement with grassroots work on a presidential campaign. As Sunday approached, a neighbor volunteered a home. Production wizards got wind of the project and offered their help in recording it. The likes of Jeff Zucker, Holly Schiffer, Peter Rosenfeld, Darin Moran, Jean Martin, Andy Blumenthal, and Nick Phoenix rearranged schedules to participate. Holly Schiffer was able to get three High Definition cameras (Panasonic HVX250’s), and an AVID editing facility. When Jeff Zucker went to pick up the camera package, Ted Schilowitz happened to be there and offered a RED camera set up on a Steadi Cam.

What the children and a few adults accomplished in a few hours on a Sunday afternoon embodies the nature of the Obama campaign: its grassroots inspiration, its inclusiveness, its community building. People pitched in quickly for a cause that resonated with them. There were not many conditions: “Think this is a good idea? Want to help? Great. Sunday at 12:00.” At the heart of the project were 22 children and their music. The willingness of all involved to come together for them was a testament to our hope, unity, courage, joy and belief in the future represented by these children.

Well, I have written the NBC ombudsman and told them how disappointed I am with this video being produced by NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker. I told them the video exploitation of these kids was deplorable. I also told them I expected an on the air apology, and a commitment to do better. And, I have been writing the editorial departments of foreign news outlets asking for help in getting this out to the rest of the world citing our media is not giving unbiased coverage as evidenced by the video itself being produced by the NBC Universal CEO. Maybe the world media can exert pressure on our media… at least they can shame them into doing the right thing.

The NBC, would be better to fight the aducationa system.American schools are in the botton 4th in the world. This children are the future generation. No wonder,we start to loose more and more jobs.Our school system is far behind the World and not because our kids are stupid, no,they are very smart. Unfortunatelly, they leran what the teachers are teaching them. Don’t teach the kids,how to take a test.They will never need that.Teach them how to study,not spelling, history,geography should be mandatory.This kids needs to know about the world not spelling.

Kevin and Brandon-Parents who subject their kids to being used as political tools are the ones who brought this on. It is shameful that they would expose their children to the underbelly of politics and then cry fowl when people point out the similarities between other historic figures who liked to get kids while they are young and shape them into an army. The parents are cowards and hiding behind their kids.

If they want to sing for Obama, the adults should do it for themselves and leave their kids out of it. I would never let a child of mine be exploited by supporters of a presidential candidate like this.
