Country First

Our ViewTheodore Roosevelt stated, “Patriotism means to stand by your country. It does not mean to stand behind the president or any other public official.” There is no greater disservice that can be given to the hardworking citizens of our great nation, than the attempt to silence people and to have their rights taken away or dictated by a supporter, paid blogger, political party or those within the MSM.

I don’t stand behind a candidate. I stand behind my country. That is why I ignore every comment, remark and EMAIL, telling me to stand down. We should always and I mean always side with choosing country before political party, truth before lies and the people over the words of any commentator or pundit even if our choices have us standing alone.

We don’t need the backing of the majority to do what’s right. As long as you know what’s important you will never go wrong. Sometimes the best choice may be a choice or decision that you do not want to make at all. But it is necessary. There will be times when what you may want ,will not be what you get. And what others in the Democratic majority may personally feel, is not best for what our nation and its people, may need.

Sometimes the right choice is the one that is hardest to make. Nothing in life is easy, and not everything will be handed to you. Sometimes you may just have to dig down deep and work for it. Nothing in life comes freely. What we all love the most about our country is that here, anyone can have the chance to live out the American dream, they can be whatever they want to be, and choose whatever path they want to take.

We have all earned it. I HAVE earned it. When I make the transition with pre-determined medical issues into the civilian world, I want to ensure that I have every avenue available to me. That I have every opportunity for success and every chance to have a portion, no matter how small, of the American Dream. I found my way, chose my path and found my voice.

“Quitting” is not a word I understand. “Giving up” is not a option I will choose. And remaining silent will never happen. I will not and cannot take steps back. Now, it is about moving forward. It is essential, we, as a whole, and united, do what is right, no matter how many people will tell you that its wrong. We only have one chance to make to make the right decision and the best choice. The ability to choose or your right of choice, does not come color-coded. It doesn’t matter if you are black or white, man or woman, rich or poor. We all are entitled to make our own decisions based on our own judgment. It is our right, this is not a privilege. We have all witnessed and experienced many things these last 19 months.

Some of us have made sacrifices for the greater good, even when those decisions did not coincide with the beliefs of everyone else. We have lost friends and alienated family because pundits, commentators and those in the MSM have stated that, because of your decision, you are a racist. We may be divided by race. We may be divided by our beliefs. We may be divided by gender. We may even be divided by political party. But we should never be divided on what is best for this country. But what is at stake transcends personal opinion, personal feelings and personal beliefs. Because what is at stake could mean life or death, not for just one individual, but millions.

There is no such thing as being loyal only to a political party over your country. There is no such thing as placing any woman or man before the welfare of a nation. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We should not criticize. Diversity means understanding that people come from all walks of life. This country has people from all backgrounds and demographics. There is no one individual more important than the next and that is a definition every leader should understand, govern and swear by — from the politicians on Capitol Hill to every sergeant training and leading troops.

Simply put for better understanding: Country first, political parties last. Doing what is best for the people will always overrides any candidate, no matter how important they may think they might be. How strongly a candidates supporters may feel. And no matter how many “Hail Mary” passes given by those in the MSM such as CNN, MSNBC or NBC. These individuals do not pick presidents. The American people do, and this has played out in the court of public opinion long enough. As hard as I worked for Senator Clinton, I intend to now work for Senator McCain. Many do not get it and many may not understand, because between the two, their policies and issues are like night and day.

But the thing is, it has never been solely about one issue, one person or political party. It has always been, and always will be what that individual can do for our country. Some will tell you in a entire speech everything that is wrong in our world and country, but can never tell you what is right.

There is nothing wrong with our country. It’s the people we choose to govern it. All of our choices and decisions are our own. It is time for us to remember it and act accordingly. There is only one winning side in any election and that is the side with the country and the American people on it.

McSame pulling out of Michigan?

Where exactly does he see himself getting 270 votes? Can he add?

Today marks the end of the McCain campaign. Mark my word. Today is the day he loses.

Please, anyone? Without MI, how does McCain win?

Comment by IronMan | 2008-10-02 14:43:46

Larry,

I’m sure Al Gore and John Kerry can answer your question. They both won Michigan, remember?

NEXT

While you pnder that, have a look at this:

Oh no, some crazy guy sued Obama and wants Obama’s motion to dismiss to be denied. Oh no, I’m shaking in my boots.

It’s a different electoral map, buddy. It’s not just MI - McCain’s also clearly gonna lose CO, NM and IA. Those alone are enough to give Obama the election. With no chance at MI, McCain has NO SHOT.

Not to mention VA, NC, FL and OH.

Uh oh.

I’d get to working if I were you. This thing is falling out of reach.

Everyone knows it but you.

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 14:53:43

“CO, NM and IA. Those alone are enough to give Obama the election.”

Are you high? McCain wins PA, OH, FL and the election is a landslide victory for the Republicans.

Keep dreaming on VA and NC, no way in Hell are they going to Obama. That’s a media creation. McCain wins Nevada and CO.

Either way you slice it, it’s tougher on Obama to win this thing, as it always is for Democrats unless they choose a real candidate who could actually change the map, Senator Clinton.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 14:58:43

Wait, McCain is winning COLORADO?

It’s not 2004 buddy. you paying attention?

VA has elected two Democratic Senators and a Governor. It’s not the same state it was in 2004. The demographics have completely changed. It won’t be a swing state (<5%) in the end. Mark my word.

Any way you slice it, Obama’s 50 state strategy is working. It’s stretching McCain public financing budget paper thin - forcing him to pull out of states like MI, and soon to be CO and PA.

By election day, he’ll have to win every single state he still has a presence in if he wants to get to 270. And that’s just not gonna happen.

Please do tell exactly which states Hillary would win that Obama isn’t winning in. And how she would have won states like IA and CO that never liked her.

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 15:04:18

“Please do tell exactly which states Hillary would win that Obama isn’t winning in.”

The southern states my friend. Arkansas, Louisiana, WV, KY, and possible even Tennessee. Clinton is very competitive in these states (with a clear win in AK).

Not to mention that Clinton would win PA, Ohio, MI, and FLORIDA. Us Floridians love Senator Clinton.

Clinton would win in similar fashion like Bill in 92, 96.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 15:09:46

…but she couldn’t even beat Barry.

Oh right, we cheated.

DUH.

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 15:12:01

Caucus states are inflating your candidate’s strength. Take a look at the proportional rules that gave the election away.

Comment by destardi | 2008-10-02 15:22:46

Hillary won ALL MAJOR STATES…wait for it…

at the END of the Primary, in actual..VOTING BOOTHS.

uhbama was front-loaded from caucus states.

There’s a REASON why prominent Dems are looking at changing the caucus rules.

Duhhhhh. (FYI, that makes you sound like a pudgy loner kid sucking on a fudgesicle. Not that there’s anything wrong with that).

And Laaaaarry, the FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE in AMERICAN HISTORY won 18,000,000 PLUS votes, but yet she only received 20% credit of delegates because if she didn’t forego a true delegate count, should have EMBARRASSED uhbama and we can’t have the dem’s “teh one” candidate being embarrassed, now can we?

Seriously, suck on your fudgesicle, freak.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:26:55

Did you just turn 18? I ask because you don’t seem very familiar with the American electoral process. Caucuses have been around a long time. The current nomination process, with some adjustments, has been in place since 1972. However, you act like somehow the rules were invented just so Obama could win. Maybe they are not fair, but Obama played the rules as they were written. That seems pretty smart to me.

Comment by benny | 2008-10-02 15:35:07

Obama played by the rules??? have you escaped from an asylum??? just wondered.

Larry, you’re about to be obliterated.

1)Virginia having 2 Democratic Senators is NOT new:

“In the 2007 election, the Democratic Party reclaimed the majority in the Senate for the first time since 1999, when the Republican Party took control of the Senate for the first time in history”

So stop saying “It’s not the same Virginia as it used to be” NON ISSUE

2)Mark Warner became governor in 2002; before bush even got to squander Republican good-will…His election was NOT a backlash to moron republicans NON ISSUE

3)”the last time Virginia went for a Democratic Presidential candidate was 1964″

Yes, “larry” even while they have maintained a Democratic majority THROUGHOUT THOSE 30 PLUS YEARS

what was that you said about “game match set”?

HillaryDem 4 McCain/Palin

Comment by BlueDolphin | 2008-10-02 15:42:47

Virginia is a very heavy military state.

It has the world’s largest naval installation.

The Stealth bombers are housed at Langley AFBase.

Ocean Air base holds the Naval Carriers flight deck fighter jets.

It has the world’s largest drydock that builds the largest aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines in the world.

It goes republican as a military state in the general elections.

There are many paths for McCain. He can win Florida, Ohio, VA, NC, Nevada and one of Colorado or NH and the election is his. Michigan is a Democratic leaning state. He doesn’t have to win it. It’s more of a challenge for Obama to win PA or Ohio than McCain winning Michigan. Start asking how Obama will win Ohio, FL, and PA.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 14:53:32

1) Obama will win Florida by continuing the clear trend towards him since the selection of Palin. Floridians DESPISE Palin, and that point alone win hand Obama the state.

2) Obama’s up 8-10 points in every PA poll. The state’s not even close. Look for McCain to leave there real soon, just like MI.

3) You’re right, McCain can win if he wins FL, OH, VA, NC, NV and Colorado. One problem.

He can’t.

Comment by vinnie | 2008-10-02 14:59:31

Floridians DESPISE Palin

What polls show that? or are you pulling shit out of the air like Barry?

Comment by athena | 2008-10-02 15:42:47

Comment by athena | 2008-10-02 15:45:31

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 14:59:44

1.) I’ve lived in Florida all my life and they love Palin and have a great respect for McCain. McCain wins Florida by 5 points election day.

2.) Polls are skewed, oversample urban Democratic voters. Many lie to these people, stating to support Obama, but they’re really going for McCain. These polls also do not include the undecided 10% who went 4:1 to Clinton in the primaries and will so again for McCain. PA voters aren’t going to forgive Obama for his elitist remarks. McCain wins PA by a 1-2%.

3.) In that scenario, it’s a landslide. Many of those states aren’t even tossup states. The media just pretends that Obama has a chance there when he really doesn’t.

If Obama can’t win PA and one of Ohio and FL, he loses.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:05:07

In Florida, Palin is viewed favorably by 36 percent of the voters and unfavorably by 39 percent. That reverses her 47 percent to 23 percent result in the Sept. 11 Quinnipiac poll.

from Bloomberg.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 15:05:28

Keep telling yourself that.

Obama wins Florida, but it really doesn’t matter.

All he needs is Kerry States + CO, IA and NM.

GAME SET MATCH.

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 15:08:52

Kerry won PA! And Minnesota and Wisconsin. Obama will win Iowa and NM, but Colorado is a stretch and Obama will not win PA.

Find another path.

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 15:10:11

Not to mention that NH is a swing state that Obama needs. The “Western state” strategy is bull.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 15:13:30

How so?

You think Mccain is wining NM and CO?

Comment by James | 2008-10-02 15:18:06

It’s not enough, that’s why. Let Obama take NM and CO (which he won’t win), McCain wins PA, Ohio, FL and the Republicans win in a landslide.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:20:22

Have you seen the polls in PA? Obama wins easily.

Comment by tampagurl | 2008-10-02 15:13:28

Obama is throwing 39 million in Florida, running 2 minute ads. After he has spent his money McCain will come in or Palin(we love her, went to her rally here and there was 60,000 people there.) Governor Crist, who we also love will probably run some ads for them and yes McCain will take Florida by at least 5.

Yeah, the polls are up for your guy, but then 4 years ago Kerry was ahead. That didn’t work out so well for him, did it?

I’m glad the polls are up for your guy. Then on election day alot of lazy Dems will stay home because they’ll think they don’t need to vote. And John McCain will win. :D

Now once large (somewhat by Obama standards) crowd in Florida is evidence that Florida LOVES Sarah Palin?

Despite her 36% favorable rating in the state?

And the sudden drop in McCain poll numbers in the State since the real Sarah Palin entered the limelight?

Do you not understand the meaning of hypocrisy?

Larry, mockery is not an accepted debate tactic. It may make you feel less panicky, but it really isn’t a good strategy. You do know the difference, right?

I’m merely using the talking point that you Obama supporters seem to swear by: numbers = adoration. and when you consider that alot of senior citizens came out in 90 degree weather just to see her and not a rock band, then it is significant.

And FYI, I’m in New Hampshire and we’re going RED in November.

“Floridians DESPISE Palin”? She drew a crowd of 60,00 when she was at the Villages in Florida. Considering Nobama drew 84,000 at his HISTORICAL DNC speech with all his spending millions moving the speech to Invesco Field and building his special stage with the Greek columns, all the Pomp and Circumstance that was befitting the “ONE”. Thats only 24000 more than Palin drew for a simple rally. I don’t know, looks to me like Floridians LOVE Palin.

They don’t love their country, they love themselves. They love thinking their important. Soldier loves hearing her voice and getting hits on youtube. This has never been about country - it’s about them.

like McCain wrote in his own book:

“I didn’t decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of patriotism. In truth, I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to be president. . . . In truth, I’d had the ambition for a long time.”

Comment by tampagurl | 2008-10-02 15:49:41

Everything about Obama is a facade. He pretends to be president with his fake ass seal and Styrofoam pillars.

He pretends to be experienced in foreign affairs because he tossed a coin and made a speech against the war.

He buses people into his rallies and has the fire marshal pad the numbers to give the illusion of his grandness.

Obama is nothing more than a con man and very good actor. He can can give a good speech if you like being preached to but without a teleprompter he’s a dope.

I’m not worried. I want all PUMA’s to keep on fighting and voting so they know when its over McCain got the repub vote, the racist vote and the Hillary vote and still lost.

They said Obama couldn’t beat McCain. Then they said he couldn’t win without Hillary’s supporters. They were wrong. Of course they’ll have excuses. There is always someone or something easier to blame than their own failed candidates, Hillary and McCain.

The media and everyone else in the bag for Obama certainly do not understand that millions and millions see right through them.

Actually, they understand perfectly.

Which is why the loser Obama trolls are posting here.

Which is why the MSM is broadcasting Obama bias 24/7 trying to program people.

Which is why they are trying to cheat left, right and sideways through the DNC, ACORN, MoveOn, and other various “organizations.”

Which is why many local newspapers throughout the country (which are owned by the VERY corporations that back Obama) are on the Obama ass-kissing train.

But their efforts are all in vain.

Most American voters have “Obama fatigue.” Obama overkill.

They’re sick of seeing & hearing about him.

And most voters will vote for John McCain on Election Day just to NOT hear Obama’s name again for the next four years.

Comment by snosandy | 2008-10-02 14:48:20

My response to an earlier thread about not voting for Obama was:

I have been able to separate John McCain from the rest of the Republicans and that is the reason I am able to vote for him with confidence that he will cross party lines to lead us all as Americans and not partisans. Obama has already shown that he punishes those that have not supported him from the beginning.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 14:58:14

Lead? He couldn’t even deliver one person from House Arizona delegation on the rescue package. The right of the Republican party hates him and no Democrat except Lieberman will work with him after the dishonorable campaign he has run. McCain is no leader. Whatever your policy positions, it would be a disaster if McCain was elected. He has no support in either party and he cannot even run his own presidential campaign. Compare the two campaigns. Obama’s has been professional, decent, and steady. McCain’s campaign has been amateur, erratic, and mean.

Comment by snosandy | 2008-10-02 15:03:34

Obama’s campaign has been thuggish, intimidating, partisan, secretive, racist, fear mongering…….

Comment by Astra14 | 2008-10-02 15:18:42

I don’t know why they’re freaking out, but obviously something is going on.

The odd thing today I got a call asking about if I planned to vote and for whom. I told them I was voting and was voting for McCain. The man then mentioned it was an unbiased poll being taken by the Democratic Party.

The next phone call I got was a electronic message about Obama’s stop the smears website and seeing what Obama stands for. Is this a new ploy? If the person on the other end of the poll says McCain do they get this other followup call like I did? Too weird in my opinion.

I’m voting for McCain! Country First.

Comment by AnnieCarmel | 2008-10-02 15:23:07

The best policy I have come up with, Astra14, is to tell them you love Obama and throw the polls off completely. Once all they kiddies are sure O will win in a landslide, they won’t come out of their rooms all day on 11/4.

As a matter of fact! Heck, I think a lot of other people have figured this out too.

What part of PA are you in? I’m in Montgomery County (philly suburb) and I’ve been counting all the new McCain signs popping up every day!

It’s a 5 to 1 ratio of McCain to Obama in my neck of the woods.

I agree PA will be painted Red!

Comment by Pennsylvania goes RED! | 2008-10-02 17:02:55

Boxer -

I’m in the part of PA that is as close to Biden’s house and still be in Pennsylvania!

There was strong support for Hillary in Montco and Delco, Bucks went for her in huge numbers. I crunched the election numbers, only 11 percent of Hillary voters have to cross over to McCain if the turnout is the same as in 2008.

then there’s the independents and moderate Republicans also who will be more inclined to vote Republican than they were in 2004.

We had an event where a McCain campaign guy showed up, the campaign’s internal polling shows it A LOT tighter than what you see in the MSM polling. They actually opened another office out here.

Professional? Are you referring to when he gave Hillary the finger in a speech? Or maybe the time he said the surge was a bad idea? Oh, I know. It was those 130 “Present” votes.

Decent? You mean like when he voted not to give medical care to babies who survived late-term abortions?

Steady? Have you looked at his web site recently? He’s now saying he’s pro- life.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:35:10

Portia,

That is all you can come up with? He gave Hillary the finger and he voted present? If I were undecided and I came to this site, I would have to conclude that Obama is a wonderful person. You have a bunch of commentators who are clearly angry and bitter, but all of the evidence they cite against him is with clearly false or trivial.

Comment by tampagurl | 2008-10-02 16:35:48

Well, I think a man running for president that gives a women the finger is pretty sick.

However,The fact that Obama sat in a racist church for 20 years.

or the fact that he couldn’t afford to buy his own house 3 years ago without the help of a convicted criminal and now pretends he can straighten out our economy.(I like to see him balance his own check book)

Or the dirty little fact that since he graduated from law school, Obama’s work with ACORN,( a criminal organization convicted of voter fraud) has ranged from training and fund raising, to legal representation and promoting their work and trying to get them billions of dollars in the bailout. So much for the community organizer.

Or maybe his close relationship with Bill Ayers and other terrorists would make undecided voters think he is not a wonderful person.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 16:50:50

Except that he didn’t give her the finger and only someone delusional would think that he did. Also, no one helped him buy that house. Rezko bought the property next to it when the seller wanted to sell them together . He sold that property for a profit. He does not have a close relationship to Bill Ayers and ACORN is not a criminal organization. You really need to try harder.

Comment by tampagurl | 2008-10-02 17:18:55

OOOOO, What a liar you are!!!Of course he gave her the finger, the crowd claped and roared when he did it and then he grinned like a child.

The stipulation of the sale was that the land had to sell the same day as the house. Obama got a discount on the house but Resko paid full price for land that was worthless to anyone except Obama. Bottom line Obama couldn’t afford to buy it by himself.

Ayers sat on the board of the chicago annenberg challenge with Obama and had a fund raiser in his home for Obama.

As for ACORN, I suggest you google it and see how many times they have been convicted of voter fraud.

Comment by Country First | 2008-10-02 19:41:34

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 16:09:05

Democrats were much more likely to vote for it than Republicans. And it was Bush’s bill. He let
Pelosi and Reid take the lead. Sometimes leadership means staying out of it. For example, when Truman wanted to pass a bill for European relief after the war, he stayed behind the scenes and let Marshall and Vandenberg take the lead. He knew that if was to closely associated with it, the Republicans would never go along because they wouldn’t want to give him credit. He cared more about his country than his presidential campaign. Obama acted in a similar statesman like way. McCain’s desperate attempt to save his campaign almost ended any chance for passing this bill. Who loves his country more?

Kerry was the one who had to win every state he was competing in. At this point he was out in CO, NM, IA, VA and NC.

He needed to win every single state, plus Ohio or Florida.

This year, McCain is the one in that position. Except he HAS to win Ohio AND Florida.

And trust me I know from experience, that’s not a good position to be in.

For all the trolls out there who depend on polls, lets take 2004.

Let me start with the polls from OCT 11 2004.
Kerry 280 - Bush 254
http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2004/Pres/Maps/Oct11.html
Does this not look familiar. Did anybody think that Bush going up against a veteran from Vietnam and Senator of 16 years could win? Especially since he was not truly elected in 2000? Everybody in the democratic circles had a sense that the wrongs of 2000 will be corrected and we will finally get a President in the White House who understood our problems and will put an end to the Iraq war. On Nov 1st things looked even better.

Kerry 298 – Bush 231
http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2004/Pres/Maps/Nov01.html

On Nov 5th 2004, however, those hopes died and everybody tried to find somebody to blame.

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 16:16:32

Those predictions were based on one state poll. Most predictions had Bush up. You get points for at least using Google to try to find information to back up your argument.

Patsy,
Thank you for this fabulous reflection. You are an inspiration.

I realize two things: If Bozo wins, our work will be just beginning. We must protect the country for his arrogant, inexperienced and dangerous positions, as well as and in spite of the cruelty of his cult followers.

If Bozo wins, I will have the comfort of knowing that I did not put him in office.

LARRY SINCLAIR CRUSHED OBAMBA TODAY IN GRAND RAPIDS
HIGH TRUE WITH TOMAS | 2 OCT 08 | TOMASUSMC

Posted on Thursday, October 02, 2008 1:32:51 PM by TomasUSMC

Sinclair Crushes Obama

Today Barack Obambi rolled up into Grand Rapids speaking and sounding like a lot of hot air. At the same time Larry Sinclair arrived with a megaphone.

80 percent of the crowd were college students with a smattering of folks in suits and some black folk. Well all of a sudden a tall big white kid asks Larry if he would like to give his view out over the airwaves. He hands Larry the cell phone and Larry starts to conduct an interview with the most popular radio station in Grand Rapids. 104.5 WSNX.

Then the Grand Rapid Police came by and informed Larry very professionally that he could not use his nuclear powered megaphone. As they were doing this, Larry is STILL GETTING INTERVIEW. So, after promising the officers that he would not use it anymore, and being told that he could of course use his mouth, well Larry complied, and continued to yell out challenged to Obama.

Then the interview started again, and on it went. Needless to say more people heard Larry Sinclair in Grand Rapids today, than obambi. The interview went on for more than 2 hours, maybe between stops and starts and changing dieing cellphones possibly 3 hours.

The entire obama event was rendered a big zero, as all the young people will be talking about the Larry Sinclair Mega Interview in GR.

Oh and since it was also going out over the internet, well, poor obambi just wasted his time…..which is nothing out of the ordinary for him. A podcast is available at the site http://www.wsnx.com/pages/playhouse_dev.html

go to playhouse and click on it then scroll down to: Larry Sinclair: Obama’s “Drug and Sex party limosine”

This election will racially divide this country and it will be the African American’s who become the racists because of the percent of White America who won’t support their inept candidate.

If it would have been somebody like Colin Powell, or Condi Rice, or anybody respectable, this wouldn’t be happening nor would it affect us for years to come.

But Obama…..and Michelle???

PLEASE!!! NO RESPECT!!! NO VOTE!!!

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:47:26

The majority of white Americans never support the Democratic candidate. Hillary would not have won the white vote either. This is also more about gender than race. It looks like Obama is going to win the majority of white women. In the end, everyone’s vote counts the same.

It’s not just the polls. It’s also the incredible ground game the Obama campaign has in comparison to the McCain campaign. They outstaff and out-office McCain 2 and 3-1 in many of these states. And now McCain is running out of money and is going to start pulling out of states?

This things not even going to be close.

All we have right now are polls and reports from the ground in swing states. Both look strong for Obama at this point.

What exactly are you basing your prediction that McCain is winning on?

Patsy,

Unlike all the Obamabots who have invaded this thread, you are a true American. I too wish people could look beyond color, but it seems they are incapable. Duped by false hope and by manufactured images, they are blinded and duped. I notice how fanatical they are, and I notice they have no principles. These are people who are sick and in pain, for they are so desperate they have decided to invest everything in a politician. That is truly scary. And now they think some scumbag from Chicago will rescue them from problems they created for themselves. Typical Obamabots, they will resort to any tactic in order to silence the majority. It helps them feel better about their pain. Perhaps they should get jobs.

You are a true American. Thank you for showing us that not everyone is blinded by color and lies. I wish there were more of you, for this country would be a better place. But instead we are left with unappreciative Obamabots who hate this country, which they blame for all their problems. Then there are all those Obamabots who are either too young, uninformed or too uneducated to make sound decisions. Notice those are the people Obama is registering to vote, as Obama does not respect this country. Similar to his troubled supporters who are seeking revenge against those who love this country, he hopes to use cynical politics to destroy it.

Love,

Mother in Kentucky

Comment by Obamafan | 2008-10-02 15:55:39

So, let me see if I get this. People who vote for Obama don’t have jobs and are uneducated. Obama is trying to register them to vote even though they don’t really deserve the franchise because they are not “true Americans.” For a true American, you seem to have very little respect for the millions of people who are going to vote for Obama.

Okay, BO’s busy little bees are pulling homeless people out of parks, the convenience stores, the shelters, under the bridges and registering them in our city–with what addresses I have no idea. They are getting free rides and most probably 20 bucks and they are all laughing about it. So many people I know are so fed up and frustrated that they have decided to ’say’ they are for BO just so that they aren’t called racist or an inbred but they have no intention of voting for him. The polls are determined by the msm who adjust them accordingly to make it look like ‘it’s all over’–remember the primaries? The VP debate doesn’t matter one bit tonite just like the convention didn’t matter for Clinton–the msm is not a free, unbiased press. But the general election is another matter–just like no one knew McCain was going to pick Palin(he was able to keep that secret) the Repubs have something else that will come out of left field but not before October 15th, not enough time for BO to bs his way through it. The first shall be last and the last shall be first–BO’s running around the same tree and won’t even see what’s coming.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-10-02 15:56:50

It doesn’t matter…it is just a front to make people think McCain can’t win because Obama has a big voter turnout. They are trying to make people think it is pointless to vote so they will stay home. Those registrations all will be checked to see if they are valid. I’m sure most aren’t. Not only that, this is all over the news and everytime Obama and his group of satanic kook pod bots do crazy shit like this, it just makes people that more determined to go vote for McCain. So let them go ahead and keep up w their crazy shit. Better for us. Besides, doesn’t say much for you or your candidate if you have to turn in thousands of illegal voter registrations and dig up homeless people to vote for your candidate. LOL…what a pathetic bunch of losers.

1) Obama used every single dirty trick and sham to have his MENTOR Alice Palmer, and four others, removed from the Senate race so that he was UNCHALLENGED. That’s what he likes to do…cheat.

2) Hillary Clinton legally won the nomination and Obama committed voter fraud to steal it - 2000 reports in Texas alone - ALL DOCUMENTED. We can all prove it. There is documentation everywhere to back it up, and guess what? It’s not going to be Obama’s dirty little secret for much longer. BOMBS AWAY Obama. This from Larry Sinclairs website. You know the MSM won’t report any of it. I would love to have been there. There must be something to this guys story or he would’ve quit by now.

Barack Obama told his supporters a week or so ago to “Get in their face…”, but it seems Senator Obama and his supporters do not like that advice when people “Get in their face…”

This morning I went to the Obama rally at Calder Plaza, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Now let me do something that Barack Obama cannot do, let me be fair and say that not all of the Obots were rude and foul mouthed, but make no mistake about it, most were. One teenager, or maybe twenty-something guy was encouraged by his own mother to tell me to “F— Off” and more.

The Obots hated that while Barack Obama was speaking I was about 200 feet away calling him on the mega phone asking him to answer the question, “where were you on Nov 6 & 7, 1999 and what were you doing?” They did not like that I was yelling on the mega-phone asking Barack Obama who was Larry Sinclair? In fact the Obama campaign was so unnerved, but did not want the Secret Service involved, so it took a little while before the Grand Rapids Police came and asked me to go with them and for my ID.

The Grand Rapids Police were respectful at all times, but also were clearly being used to silence the mega-phone. According to GP Police, I could not use the mega-phone because I did not obtain a permit, and the Obama Campaign did! I am now looking into the claim that a permit is required to use a mega-phone. The Police did run a warrant check on me and told me simply that if I was to use the mega-phone again, it would be confiscated and I would be ticketed. I then returned to the WSNX 104.5 FM interview on the reporters phone.

Meanwhile, I was on a live radio interview with WSNX 104.5 FM radio in Grand Rapids while calling on Barack Obama to answer three simple questions. It was while on the phone with WSNX 104.5 FM that the Police asked me to go with them. I was trying to return the Radio reporters cell phone but wasn’t allowed to until he had to tell the Police it was his phone I was on.

In leaving the event I asked a WOODTV reporter, “why is it that you guys refuse to report the truth about Obama?” She replied, “we try to report the truth but it is our producers that say what does or does not get reported.”

Interesting,, Maybe Mr. Sinclair should go to Missouri and have the authorities sue him for his allegations. Some of them did state they would have liars arrested or sued? Than he can have his story/allegations told in a court of law, maybe Little Boots would have to answer some real questions for a change??? This is getting to be very scary. Clinton, 2012!

If Mr. Sandler’s name sounds familiar it Should. He is the Leagal Hit Man for the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR is an organization with terrorist ties, and has been as an un-indicted co-conspiritor in the Holyland Foundation Hamas Funding trial

For all the stupid trolls out there who depend on polls, lets take 2004.

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 15:57:33

So on October 11th, Kerry barely had 270 electoral votes. Like I said, he had to win nearly every state he was leading in to win the election. On Nov 1, he had 298 votes, IF he won FL and OH.

Compare that to this:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/?map=5

Obama has 259 votes, without OH, FL, or VA.

Put the toss-ups in their leaning columns and you get this.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/?map=10

Obama 359 McCain 185

Whereas Kerry HAD to have OH and FL, Obama doesn’t have to have either. His options are much more extensive than Kerry’s are. Not only does this give him a better chance of getting 270, but it also spread’s McCain’s money thin, forcing him to leave states like MI.

No one can predict the future, but we are in MUCH better shape than we were in 2004. That combined with the INCREDIBLE ground game the Obama campaign has (seriously, the effort here in MI is at least 5x better than the one we had in 2004), and I think we’re headed towards a blowout.

Comment by benny | 2008-10-02 16:03:06

lol. yeah sure. how many times have I heard the same thing. go on and believe obama will win. but if he doesn’t, be ready for it. I’ve given you stats. you’re lose, larry.

Believe me, every 4 years, I hear the same thing from the dems. we’re in better shape. wait till the GE, and then you will know. history repeats itself. lol

Comment by Larry | 2008-10-02 16:04:46

Every four years?

Don’t be so cocky.

The the past 16 years, we’ve had 4 Presidential elections. 1 has been won by Republicans, 3 have been won by Democrats, and 1 was stolen from the Democrats and handed to the Republicans.

I think we know a thing or two about winning elections.

Comment by benny | 2008-10-02 16:17:01

tell me larry, in the last 40 years, how many dems have won the elections? and how many repubs? and how long did the dems win the white house in the last 40 years?

Oh you can say blah blah blah…. but the fact is that 2 have been won by the repubs in the last 16 years. you can deny it, but the fact is that GWB was in the white house. Grow up, and accept facts, larry.

And it’ll be a pleasure watching obama lose. yes, you’ll say not this time. but when the dems felt that the repubs stole victory in 2000 and were sure that kerry will win in 2004, I heard the same thing. wait and watch, larry. in the end……..obama is done. lol

“Sandler’s role for CAIR has been to stifle people from telling the truth about Islam. For example, last year he tried to get Jihad Expert Robert Spencer banned from speaking to the Young American Foundation by using a threatening letter. Sandler followed up by threatening columnist Mike Adams for writing about the Spencer incident.”

My question to Larry Johnson: Does Joe Sandler belong to the same Sandler family who made out on selling Wachovia Bank? Friends of George Soros?

This is bad news if this is true:

“ST. LOUIS — Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) now must win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Minnesota in order to get enough electoral votes to win the presidency, his campaign says.

Those were considered swing states in 2000 and 2004, but George W. Bush lost them both times.

“Our ability to pick off one of those three states is where our fortunes are largely held,” a McCain official said. “These are states where Barack Obama is on the defense.”

McCain has very limited ways to win, with no room for error. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) still has many routes to the White House and so can afford to campaign on a much broader playing field.

McCain aides discussed their tough new map math after Politico’s Jonathan Martin reported, and McCain aides subsequently confirmed that he is giving up on Michigan, withdrawing staff and advertising.

“We felt like being able to play in Michigan up to this point was an offensive move,” a McCain aide said. “As we close down into Election Day, our map is going to become more targeted.

McCain figures that winning one of those three big remaining swing states, plus those he considers safe, would put him 10 shy of the 270 electoral votes he needs to win.

“We can dig up an additional 10 electoral votes in Nevada, Colorado and New Hampshire,” the official said. ”

If that’s really what the McCain campaign is counting on, they are in HUGE trouble.

Yanking kids out of school and giving them free lunches and a day off if they will vote for him. He registers prisoners, felons, junkies, ANYONE who is of age and a citizen. Because THAT is what Obama is. Trash. Have I made myself clear? Oh yeah, don’t bother to call me a racist. The biggest joke is that Obama is as black as McCain. LMFAO.

PS - You might tell Obama that the clock is ticking on him showing his birth certificate. Maybe once and for all we can put this Muslim thing to rest, since he already ADMITTED IT, and move on.

If this is an Obama hater, I will be proud to vote for him.

Now that’s a woman…and a patriot. Thank you for your service to our country…and all our troops risking our lives for our decisions or indesions. Thank You.

You are the ultimate in patriotism…the ones that end up cleaning it all up so that we can have a fresh start.

Enough with Party systme…..each politician should stand for theirselves and their constituency. Enough of the group-think bull shit and ideology.

Lets do it like Washington wanted us to do it….he warned us that the parties would invariably sell us out to the highest bidders.

Don’t panic! Work hard! The media and thier cohorts in crime are touting the polls that are showing some slippage for McCain. Most of these are influenced by the Qunnipiac and CNN/Time polls. These polling organaizations have been in the bag for Obama since the get go. I got a report with 13 polling organization yesterday, including those above and the results were on a national average Obama was leading 46 to 43.1 percent and with a weighted average (included larger Democratic base) it was 46.5 to 46 percent. Gallup tracking poll today was 48 to 43 Obama. Note-not over 50% and please now go to Zogby. Google them and you will see that it is today, 47.1 to 45.9 percent. Now the Obot’s shout that McCain is pulling out of Michigan. True, he is pulling out to defend the red states and win. He who carries Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida win. Contary to media bullshit Florida is a lock, Ohio will be his and the dog fight will take place in Pennsylvania. Now if Obama can win Colorada, New Mexico and Nevada, he can off set one. To you who are thinking about changing your minds, just form a mental picture and imagine Obama as the Commander in Chief. Does not thar scare the shit out of you?

Truthteller…

LMFAO…The voters didn’t choose Obama. The corrupt DNC and Obama Campaign did it. I might remind everyone here that NEITHER Obama nor Hillary had enough delegates to cross the finish line. But they were only 126 delegates apart. If you do the math, and account for all the FRAUD Obama committed, and the delegates he stole, then you can take conservatively, per our documentation, 65-70 delegates away from Obama, and give them to Hillary. That would have been either roughly a tie, or the delegate count in Hillary’s favor. Some of us think that the 65-70 is WAY too conservative and it’s more likely that Obama stole 150-200 delegates. If this fraud and theft would not have happened, then of course Hillary would have won both the popular vote and the delegates and probably would be President. I bet Howie Dean is kicking himself for this one. Big ole buyer’s remorse. It serves the dirty DNC right. Next time they can play fair and they might win. Not this time.

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-10-02 16:19:04

Sigh, once again I remind you - Obama will not, can not, win a state where he is not up at least ten points now. Why? Because these polls are as fake as the man they are pumping. They have a built-in bias of from 5-9 points. This means McCain wins all of the states the Obama Media is calling battleground states and of course, Obama cannot turn even one red state blue.

Who is it that says McCain may win by a landslide? Zogby, the pollster most accurate in the last four presidential elections. Who is saying Obama may win by a landslide? Obama, and in panicky reaction to the Zogby statement.

Don’t be fooled people. This poll crap is just another under-handed tactic to try to create a sense of Obama as winner. It is intended to stimulate their own shaky base but if it rattles some of you then all the better. I posted earlier that this election is like a distorted football game. The first quarter was from March to August. The second quarter is from the conventions to the 2nd week in Oct. The third quarter is from then to Nov 1, and the fourth quarter is the last few days. We are not at halftime yet. The real offensive has not yet been launched. Obama cannot withstand it when it comes.

The more trolls you see here the more true these words are.

Shiloh - Great post. The polls are BS. You don’t see McCain freaking out. Not at all. That means he knows something. I was at a McCain fundraiser last night and met on of the McCain campaign officials. I asked him what was going on..he just smiled. It’s all good. McCain is brilliant. There has NEVER been a better political move than Palin. We all were hoping he would pick her, for months and months. But the fact that Obama threw that EMBARRASSING 100 Million Dollar TOGA PARTY on Mile High, and then didn’t get a convention bounce because McCain announced Palin…well, that shows McCain is on the ball. It’s going to get good. Really good.

PS - Clearly the Dems are terrified and yes the nasty azz trolls are all over the blogosphere. It’s EMBARRASSING that Obama can’t get to 50% and stay there. After 8 years of a GOP White House, Obama should be up double digits. He’s a flop. Even Fritz Mondale was higher in the polls right about now.

I was at a McCain event the other night and I also heard a different tale than what the media is trumpeting.

From what I’ve seen of n0bama, when he’s confident, he gets sloppy.

Also, recall that McCain started out the primaries carrying his own luggage when traveling, every one had considered him out of the running. It was all about Romney and Giuliani.

I think the trolls are here for premature gloating and to demoralize us. There’s probably some fear beneath it too, because they know all 0’s dirty wash that’s stuffed in the hamper and somebody’s about to scatter it all on the floor for public inspection.

Reading through these posts, I’m beginning to agree with you. If their messiah man is a slam dunk, why are they still trying to convince Hillary voters…you know why?

Because YOU ARE THE KEY!

This year instead of the Reagan Dems it will be the Hillary Dems.

I’m sensing that too.

McCain is incredibly calm. And Sarah Palin isn’t freaking out under the pressure either.

They definitely know something.

I talked to Republican HQ in Michigan. I was told that even though the campaign is pulling out that does not mean that they have given up on the state. They will just concentrate on the states they need to concentrate on. Apparently there are quite number of Democrats that are crossing over to McCain in MI. Even union members. She said that all of Obama support is coming from one county. If that that county does not have a big turn out McCain will take the state.

Apparently the campaign decided they have done everything they can do in Michigan and have moved on. McCain is running a lean organization and they will not spend any more time in one place then they need to.

She told me not to write off Michigan. They have plenty of support there.

Comment by OhioMary | 2008-10-02 17:54:47

Well, learning that they are pulling out of MI was enough of an eyeopener for me to donate $100 to McCain today - I wish I could give him more. I am at the point the more I hear about Obama the more worried I am for out nation. I feel this is truly a race that will be a turning point for America. Obama has too many questionable ties - too many Islamic loyalties. He is not in this for the American people.

Hey, MCCAIN REGRETS PALIN,

ROFLMAO…Probably not as much as Obama regrets BIDEN. Yeah, CHANGE, right. An old, tired PLAGIARIST, with bad hair plugs, a big drinking problem, serious health issues, foot in mouth disease and he thinks we had TV in 1929. Oh, yeah, and let’s not forget that no one wanted Biden the FIRST THREE TIMES he ran. And that he himself said, in his own words, “I would be honored to run WITH, or against, Senator McCain because I think he would be good for this country.”

Why don’t you change your name you paid troll/loser? I like the sound of it…OBAMA REGRETS BIDEN.

You people are a joke.

Poor Obama. After so many expectations, when obama loses, he’ll have to go back to chicago. Oh yes, the obama supporters will say that he’ll win. well, you can always hope. but like gore and kerry, it aint gonna work.

Obama supporters say that it is different this time. All the way from dukakis to kerry, I’ve heard all campaigns say that they are different.

It’ll be fun when obama loses. yes, for now you may not imagine it, but once the GE is over, the repubs will be in charge.

Might as well be mentally prepared.

Just remember when you help obama ride the short bus all the way to white house that the next group of people who are going to hate you will have nuclear weapons. Barak Obama is a gracious as Barbara Bush(who i actually like) in Texas after Katrina.

And you don’t count the caucus states. Obama was the winner of the popular vote, the most delegates, and was ahead of Clinton in the polls. He deserved the nomination.

===========================================

Obamafan…do they breed you trolls to be super stupid? The caucus states decided 626 of the delegates, or 15% of them. That’s HUGE. Obama LOST the POPULAR VOTE. Hillary Clinton had MORE popular votes THAN ANY CANDIDATE IN HISTORY. She won the Primary. Period. You’re a liar and a dumbass. If you are going to sit here and get paid to blog for Obambi all day, might I make a suggestion? Learn something about POLITICS moron.

I refer you to UCMJ Article 88, Contempt towards Officials. You are already voilating this article with your attacks upon a sitting U.S. Senator.
