Sarah Palin Interviewed Today [Updates + a 2nd Video Update]

LATE UPDATE: “Thursday’s highly anticipated face-off between Alaska governor Sarah Palin and Delaware senator Joe Biden may be the most-watched debate in 16 years. … 42% higher than Friday’s [Obama/McCain debate]” - The Live Feed.

Carl Cameron, Fox News political reporter, talked today with Sarah Palin on last night’s debate, and about her previous media interviews. Update 1: Hey, I missed the earlier video of her, so am adding it at the top here. And I’ll try to catch the later videos, as they “unspool” the entire interview all day long.

Update 2: Even Politico’s Roger Simon praised Palin’s performance last night:

Update 2: Yes, even from the snide Roger Simon, there’s praise:

You Betcha Sarah Palin Can Debate

Sarah Palin was supposed to fall off the stage at her vice presidential debate Thursday evening. Instead, she ended up dominating it.

She not only kept Joe Biden on the defensive for much of the debate, she not only repeatedly attacked Barack Obama, but she looked like she was enjoying herself while doing it.

She smiled. She faced the camera. She was warm. She was human. Gosh and golly, she even dropped a bunch of g’s.

“John McCain doesn’t tell one thing to one group and somethin’ else to another,” she said. “Those huge tax breaks aren’t comin’ to those huge multinational corporations.”

She went out of her way to talk in everyday terms, saying things like “I betcha” and “We have a heckuva opportunity to learn” and “darn right we need tax relief.”

Biden was somber, serious and knowledgeable. And he seemed to think that debates were about facts. He had a ton of them.

Criticizing John McCain’s health care plan, Biden said that McCain would tax health care and “then you’re going to have to replace a $12,000 — that’s the average cost of the plan you get through your employer; it costs $12,000 — you’re going to have to pay — replace $12,000 plan, because 20 million of you are going to be dropped. So you’re going to have to place — replace a $12,000 plan with a $5,000 check you’ve just given to the insurance company.”

Got that?

Palin was a lot more direct in her attacks on Obama and a lot more simple. Criticizing Obama for saying he would meet with some foreign leaders who are hostile to the United States, Palin said: “Some of these dictators hate America and what we stand for. They cannot be met with. That is beyond bad judgment. That is dangerous.”

She also said: “An issue like that taken up by a presidential candidate goes beyond naivet and goes beyond poor judgment.”

Sarah Palin accusing Barack Obama of being nave? Yep. And she was unabashed about it. And so what if Joe Biden has been in the Senate approximately forever and knows a lot more about a lot more stuff than she does? She doesn’t care.

“You recently said paying taxes is patriotic,” she said to Biden. “In middle-class America, where I have been all my life, that is not considered patriotic.” …

:::::::::::

I anticipate there’ll be more video coming later today, and I’ll try to keep an eye out for it. Enjoy this first part for now.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to Michigan!!!!

6 years of Democratic policy is killing us. I can’t believe that McCain couldn’t take this state if he tried.

Comment by jbjd | 2008-10-03 14:34:58

I never thought people from Florida and Michigan would vote for BO, given his support for stealing your votes during the primary, when they would have helped HRC; and only supporting counting them at the convention, when they would not matter, anyway.

Comment by Diana | 2008-10-03 14:45:02

I think that’s Sarah’s thinking also. McCain pulled out of Michigan. Think it has anything to do with ACORN? The court did rule in favor of McCain and Palin in Ohio, so I guess that’s one good thing. Now Brunner is acting like she’s elated the courts did this.

From the Washington Post:

Ohio Court Rules for McCain-Palin on Absentee Ballots
Updated 5:35 p.m.
By Mary Pat Flaherty
The Ohio Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that disputed absentee ballot applications mailed to state voters by the McCain-Palin campaign should be accepted by local elections officials and directed State Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner to reverse her position that boards reject them.

The decision was one of several issued this week by state and federal courts over procedures that affect Ohio’s early voting process.

The case was brought by two Republican voters against Brunner, a Democrat, and had become the focus of partisan wrangling in the heavily contested state.

It is fantastic that Palin not only held her own but out-debated Biden, given that he has 30+ years experience in the Senate.

She is a political star who is only just now beginning to come into her own.

PUMA!!

If it was so important to know what Governor Palin is reading, why don’t we have Soertoro/Obama reading list??? Palin is applying for the position of VP, Soertoro/Obama is applying for king president.

Nothing may be revealed about the Chosen, you must be an Initiate to understand. Besides of which Obama doesnt need to read anything. You may have noticed that it actually kind of shows, doesnt it?

Palin was outstanding, surpassing what I expected. I could tell she was nervous, who wouldnt be? but I just kept pulling for her. Pretty soon I started feeling sorry for Biden lol.

Now I can say with full knowledge of the irony of this statement ‘Biden did pretty well!’

When Palin said the reason she wasnt real responsive in her interview with Couric because she was annoyed, it confirmed what I was thinking watching her in this interview. She looked like she was trying to contain herself in the face of what I believe was extremely rude behavior by Couric, condescending and snide. I confess I did not see the whole thing so that was my impression.

Here’s a good article on why some women hate Sarah Palin. We really are our own worst enemy.

http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1846832,00.html

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 13:10:57

You can tell that was written by a man. Time is in the tank with Obama.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 13:16:00

No, this was definitely not written by a man. As a woman, I know that women behave like this towards other women. I had already written on my blog weeks ago that feminists were foaming at the mouth against Palin because she was pretty.

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 13:19:43

I have seen some of the stupidest stuff written about her…how everything she does is against women…stupid stupid stuff.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 13:22:10

Did you actually read the article I linked? It is not insulting to Palin whatsoever. It calls women out on their jealousy and hypocrisy.

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 13:25:54

Women are weapons-grade haters. Hillary Clinton knows it. Palin knows it too. When women get their hate on, they don’t just dislike, or find disfavor with, or sort of not really appreciate. They loathe — deeply, richly, sustainingly. I do not say this to disparage my gender; women also love in more or less the same way.

This is why 1 woman should not try to speak for all women.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 13:32:12

Are you a woman? I have been under the impression you were not. I am telling you that many women can relate to this statement as it is very much true in many respects. This is why Hillary is not our presidential candidate. If women stood up for other women instead of tearing them down, the world would be a lot different. But it’s a lot of self-loathing.

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 14:01:06

We have been fighting the “oh they are voting for Palin because they are mad about Hillary” and the “they are racist”

This woman just gave them something to use against us…How does saying we are weapons-grade haters, women get their hate on, they don’t just dislike, They loathe — deeply, richly, sustainingly..help us women?

Is that why you aren’t voting for Obama?
Are you voting out of anger?

I am not voting for him because he is wrong, his beliefs, the way he wants to turn us into a welfare country, no experience, his associates…it has nothing to do with anger towards him.

Hillary can fight her own battles and she did. She lost and yes I know Obama cheated in the caucus states and what the DNC did was wrong but she didn’t stand up to them now did she? She didn’t have to let that vote on the floor go the way it did. If I am angry I am angry at Clinton for not fighting. She let her voters down for not standing up for the truth and what was right.

McCain was always my #2 of the 3..who in there right mind thinks a freshman senator from Chicago can run this country? Look at all the things the president is going to have to deal with. Oh and Biden is going to hold his hand…what a bunch of crap.

Yes we don’t need women writing about how angry women are…and if they are going to don’t label us all.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 14:37:15

I think you have completely and totally missed the point of the article. It was NOT saying that women are voting against Obama because they are angry. It is saying that when women decide they don’t like a woman, they are very vicious about it.

Comment by sjc-tx | 2008-10-03 14:38:15

I LIKE what you say 30 yr dem… I LIKE what you say and am in full agreement. I LOVE Hillary. LOVE her, but I can not understand why she stood down… I trust her and her reasons though I will NEVER follow her coerced “suggestions” to vote for obama…

Comment by Irish1139 | 2008-10-03 14:07:59

Women have got to stop this ridiculous, childish loathing of one another. You don’t have to like the woman who runs, you have to vote for the woman who runs.

Men have been running this country for 250 years. Need I say more? Can you imagine what this country would have been like run by women? You and I both know it would be a lot different than it is today. If woman don’t get a little more savy, we deserve whatever those good ol’ boys hand out.

Get a grip ladies and vote for Sarah.

Think about it. Don’t you agree that realistically the Congress should be half and half. Men think there aren’t enough intelligent women out there to be elected to fulfill that idea. Ladies, who has given them that impression? Start using your noodles!

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 14:14:17

Well I don’t vote for the bottom of the ticket but I am voting McCain/Palin and it is not out of anger it is out of trust. I wouldn’t trust Obama with my dog much less my country. I love them both.

I do like Palin and I think what she has done is very impressive. Show me any other woman in office, a gov. or senator who has took on the boys and won the way she has.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 14:38:18

“I am voting McCain/Palin and it is not out of anger it is out of trust.”

You missed the point entirely. That is NOT what the article is saying whatsoever.

Kind of what Margaret Mead pointed out many years ago. Women as heads of state would be vicious. Threaten them, their country or family and women will fight back immediately, with overwhelming force and no mercy. Wonderfully refreshing. Mead saw women’s viciousness as a way to end war. Who would want a second match? I would love to see Senator Clinton or Gov. Palin and the Iranian Theocracy have tea. Speaker Pelosi on the other hand would only fawn.

You know about an hour ago a designer stopped by my studio with his asst. 30 yr.female O-Bot.
He is republican and funny and both of us are in our mid 40’s. In this primary season He ( a former Hillary hater ) has turned around and was impressed by her grit and performance in the primaries. He was totally surprised and gained respect for her while acknowledging Clinton’s accomplishments with the economy. He was one of the few sympathetic ears I could find outside this and a few other sites. I was grinning as we discussed Palin. I told him No Wonder you guys like her she like a combo Truman/Reagan. The asst. became really uncomfortable and said she HATED Palin. I asked her why…All she could say was Roe v Wade. I said that Palin would not force her beliefs on people. So what else…Why the Hate? She couldn’t answer me. I said you know…You sound just as blindly bigoted as and Rightwinger who HATED Clinton and could’nt tell you why…It was clearly that sad mix of FEAR/ENVY…Fear that True Equality means Responsibility…and Envy at a Woman who has it all…Utter Hypocrisy!
WhyPeach that we can have it all..and then Shoot Down those that do…sheeeesh!

Puritanism is not only tedious but suffocating And Feminist (Purists) have shown their HYPOCRISY….only supporting women who agree with them & adopting the tactics of their opponents…It’s all tyrannical and extremist…

George Orwell and some other great British essayists wrote wonderful essays on the dangers of ” Puritanism ” which was their description of Ideological Extremism Intolerant of Criticism or Dissent….and therefore Totalitarian

This is the most PATHETIC article…! I am a woman and I am appalled and insulted by the statements made here. The author not only succombs and belittles women, stereotypes ignorance, whines, but broadcasts quite loudly her OWN conscience.

I am 55 and a former democrat… And I find this article about on the same level as the nit-wits on the ‘View’ and the mush brained youth who lift their shirts up on tv to show their tits.

I think many women don;t like Sarah Palin for the same reason men don;t… SHE is STRONG, CONFIDENT, and INTELLIGENT and she DOES NOT and WILL NOT back down!

ALL power to her!

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-03 13:54:45

Sorry, but I agree with this article. It is an ugly truth I have seen time and again. Maybe because you are 55 you do not know how younger women eat each other alive these days. It is brutal out there. I have gone through so many female friends because far too many of them are backstabbing and vicious. Women are often jealous and want to bring you down if they perceive you to be prettier/smarter. Sad but true.

Comment by 30yrdem-not any more | 2008-10-03 14:28:37

That would be the younger group, yes they do do that..I am not so old myself that I can’t remember the girls who would have a fat friend to stand beside just so she would look thinner…

They are jealous, and immature to do such things to there friends, but then were they ever really friends?

Can’t wait to hear, though, how she finally decided to pick up a newspaper and read one after 44 years. Did you read Simon’s piece above re Biden going on and on round and around misprepresenting McCain health policy with all his numbers and factoids??
Do you think people can grasp something THAT obtuse watching a debate — you think that was better?

You still don’t get the audience that she is speaking to — clearly, you are not it.

This is why Kerry didn’t ‘win’ the debates either — no matter how much he may have technically scored points or looked like the capitain of the debate team. People smell elitists and don’t like them.

Politico is clearly in the tank for Obama and has been for months — if even they can manage to compliment Palin, clearly she was doing something right and they are forced to acknowledge it — however grudgingly.

Also, she went to college for political science and journalism. So “she doesn’t read” your an idot and it is sad you think what latenight talkshow host say is true.
No one in alaska kills moose “800 feet in the air” but again i would not expect such a low information voter as yourself and the rest of the mindless spineless obamabots to tell the truth about anything or speak factually about anything because Obama/Biden cannot do that themselves.

I reside in an area where it has been extremely independent and quite frankly, leaning either or- but, since last night- without a doubt, the McCain campaign picked up the votes of at least 300 people on my block and community. We thank Sarah Palin for keeping our spirits alive. I usually do not respond to trolls like Roxanne, but, my area of residence would beg to differ. We’re upper midwest peninsula people and if you think that basic survival skills do not count, guess again.

Comment by Urban Hillbilly | 2008-10-03 13:49:38

I gotta believe Palin gives McCain a chance in Michigan! I betcha she scores big with a lot of folks up there. She and Todd oughta go up there and visit.

Palin is extremely likeable and relate-able to folks in small town Missouri.

Comment by Irish1139 | 2008-10-03 14:24:38

The best thing about Sarah is that she really, really wants to find corruption and get it the hell out of Washington. I am so behind her. When you hire people from Washington, you don’t get much. We need someone with no ties to the crooks. I believe she can do it.

Just got these from the losers who call themselves the Democratic party in Florida … now that they are over run with 0mama’s people …

Dear :::::::

Last night’s debate was striking.

Sarah Palin channeled President Bush when defending John McCain’s foreign policy agenda, saying they hate us for our freedom.

She continued defending John McCain’s belief that “the fundamentals of our economy are strong.”

During the debate, Gov. Palin gave a spirited defense of George W. Bush’s failed policies that we’ve had for the last eight years, yet she didn’t point to a single way in which the McCain-Palin ticket is offering anything except more of the same.

Floridians can’t afford more of the same! Our nation needs change.

I know these are hard economic times, but we need your help. Your donation of $25, $50 or $100 will make the difference in this election. Click here to donate today:

https://secure.fladems.com/page/contribute/

The Republican Party is worried because Democrats, Independents and Republican voters across Florida are backing Barack Obama’s efforts to bring change so we can get our nation back on track and jump start our economy.

A few nights ago the Republicans had an emergency meeting in the McCain Campaign’s Florida headquarters at the George Bush Republican Center.

The Republicans see that we have continued registering a record number of new Democrats, they’ve watched as we have built the largest campaign effort in Florida’s history, and they noticed the tens of thousands of volunteers working every day to elect Democrats up and down the ticket.

With only 32 days left until Election Day, the Republican Party leadership is just now waking up to the fact that Floridians don’t want more of the same.

If you have $25, $50 or $100 to spare, please contribute today to the Florida Democratic Party’s campaign to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

We’re stretching every dollar and doing everything we can with what we have. But every day we see firsthand how much more we could do and how far your donation will go.

Over the next few days, we will be making critical strategic decisions on our efforts to elect Barack Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket. We will be deciding how best to use the resources we have.

The money you donate today will go directly into expanding our Get Out The Vote program and supporting our Election Protection efforts.

Help us expand our campaign to elect Democrats up and down the ballot by donating $25, $50 or $100 today.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Congresswoman Karen L. Thurman
Chair, Florida Democratic Party

I got this in Maryland just this morning. Clearly this person hasn’t learned to mail merge, she always gives a generic Hi- before asking me for $28,500.00. She asks me to “share the message” so here you are!

Hi –

The Republican Party raised over $66 million dollars in September – reportedly its best month ever. Yet John McCain and Sarah Palin have just given up on Michigan. So please help us keep up the pressure on them and win. To help now click on https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/OVFMidAtlantic?custom1=Miriam+Sapiro to contribute. Donations over $2300 go to the Obama Victory Fund. Or I’ll send you a form if you’d rather use fax or mail.

And let me know if you’d like to attend one of these exciting new events we have planned – at different budget levels and in different cities:

· Susan Rice and Susan Eisenhower tonight in DC at Esther Coopersmith’s home ($1,000/$2,300)

· Joe Biden in DC tomorrow night ($1,000/$5,000)

· Literary Stars in DC on Monday, October 6th ($360/$180 - under 30, $1,000, $5,000)

· Reception and Dinner with Barack (& Jon Bon Jovi) in Philadelphia on Friday, October 10th ($1,000, $2,300, $10,000)

· National Women’s Leadership Issues Conference with Barack, Michelle, and Joe & Jill Biden in Chicago on October 10-11th ($2,500 /up)

· Concert with Barack, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen in New York on Thursday, October 16th ($2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000)

· Dinner with Warren Buffett in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 21st ($28,500)

· Discussion & Reception with Bob Rubin and Larry Summers in Baltimore on Tuesday, Oct 21st ($2,500, 10,000, $28,500)

· Reception with Tony Lake in Boston on Wednesday, Oct 23rd ($500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000)

Thank you for digging deep one more time to help us cross the finish line on Nov. 4th – just 4 weeks away. Please share this message with friends and family who can help us too.

Best,

Miriam

Katie Couric had a valuable opportunity during the primary to interview and truly get inside the head of one of American’s most accomplished Senators, Hillary Clinton. She, Couric, spent more time asking the Senator about her *health-regiment* on the campaign trail. This brilliant woman - Clinton - was reduced to talking about *drinking lots of water and eating peppers.* It was a joke; Couric is a joke. And now that we are learning that her network severely edited the Palin-Couric interview, I have even less respect for her and, by extension, ALL journalists in the MSM.

Comment by voteamerican | 2008-10-03 13:33:24

“I may not answer the questions the way you want or the way the moderator wants”, and “I want to talk to the American people”. I really liked that about Palin, speaking directly to the American people. That is the way it should be and that is the way she did it. Both Biden and Palin in last night’s debate were better than both Obama and McCain in their debate. Seems their roles should be reversed. Biden/Obama and Palin/McCain. But then everything is upside down in this election. Fairy tale Obama and Moose hunter Palin. I’ll vote for the moose hunter any day but never for a fairy tale. LOL!!!!!!

Comment by Diana | 2008-10-03 13:54:05

Kelvin I know you love Obama, but Biden was caught in over 10 out and out lies last night. Not only that he kept repeating a surge in Afghanistan would not work, then continually called for more troops in Iraq. What exactly is it Biden thinks a surge is? We’ve already added 20,000 more troops there. Him and Obama are calling for more. Biden knows exactly what a surge is. If we withdraw all our troops from Iraq and shift them there what exactly would Joe call that? the 20,000 additional troops we’ve inserted? Repeatedly last night he said a surge would not work then, then used double talk to do what? Call for a surge.

Surge is a phrase commonly used to to increase the number of American troops.

Dear Roxanne,

Before you sharpen your red pen and move into the editor’s corner office, you might want to review your Strunk and White. Please pay particular attention to the the proper use of nouns as modifiers. You might also want to reference Webster to check on word usage, else you might leave people with the notion that you’re really Mrs. Malaprop.

Actually what I’d have loved to hear Governor Palin respond to Couric’s bit of officiousness was: “I garner information from a myriad of sources, none of which are Time, Newsweek or the Huffington Post.”

Good News from Minn Poll McCain up by + 1

Minnesota Presidential Teeter Totter Tips Toward McCain: In an election for President of the United States in Minnesota today, 10/02/08, 33 days from the vote, John McCain and Barack Obama finish effectively even, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, WDIO-TV in Duluth, KAAL-TV in Rochester, and KSAX-TV in Alexandria. The nominal advantage today goes to McCain, who is atop Obama 1 percentage point, 47% to 46%, within the survey’s 3.7 percentage point margin of sampling error. But: Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll 20 days ago, Obama is down 3 points. How much of this is movement and how much of this is “noise” is unclear.
Minnesota behaves unlike other states in some respects. Among women, there is movement to McCain, at a time when McCain is losing ground among women elsewhere. Among voters younger than Obama, there movement to McCain, at a time when Obama is consolidating support among young voters elsewhere. Among voters older than McCain, there is movement to Obama, at a time when older voters elsewhere are sticking by McCain. In Western MN, which abuts the Dakotas, there is movement to McCain. In Northeastern MN, which overhangs Michigan, there is see-sawing back to Obama.

Comment by Diana | 2008-10-03 13:42:50

Criticizing John McCain’s health care plan, Biden said that McCain would tax health care and “then you’re going to have to replace a $12,000 — that’s the average cost of the plan you get through your employer; it costs $12,000

Joe Biden gave the impression that most Americans would be worse off financially as a result of Sen. John McCain’s health-care proposals. He drew on a study by the journal Health Affairs to suggest that 20 million people would lose their company-provided health insurance under the McCain plan. He failed to note that the same journal calculated that another 21 million people would be able to afford health insurance for the first time because of tax credits offered under the McCain plan.

Joe, you are suppose to drink the Kool-Aide, not the wine coolers before a debate!

“Say it ain’t so again Joe” Obama talks to ghosts, visits 57 States with 2 still to go, heads commitees he isn’t even on and now you go to restaurants that have been closed for many years!

Gov. Palin put to rest any qualms about her ability or readiness to lead. If a Washington D.C. outsider can clean the clock of a 30+-year career politician who used every lie and smarmy trick in his arsenal, she can certainly help clean up Capitol Hill. I trust her. Can anyone say that about Biden, Obama or their corrupt Dem cronies who helped create the current financial crisis by refusing to rein in and clean up Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Gov. Palin is something Biden, Obama and the corrupt Dems can never be — genuine, hard-working, honest and real. Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Schumer, Dodd, et al, having built their careers on lies, can’t even recall what’s true anymore. Gov Palin simply is true — to herself, her family, the people she represents and the country she loves — from the top of her lovely head to the tip of those cool ruby-red high heels. Note to Sen. McCain — send Gov. Palin to campaign in Michigan! Go PUMAs. McCain/Palin ‘08!

All the trend lines though are being are perpeuated from biased sources. Its honestly very HARD to get the facts when you have blatant over sampling and tampering with evidence.

Honestly I hope that there is a mistake because if anyone has done as much research on both candidates, this would be a normal “lesser of two evils” we find ourselves in every campaign.

I can tell you Obama has a trend line of dishonesty that effectively puts him into very evil and do not vote for.

I think Indies, will swing to Mccain. Ill put money up for that. Obama has been losing ground since the DNC convention. Voter turnout will not be as expected for Obama either, which I think is a repeating democratic mistake. Thats my take.

It should have been Hillary, and this should have been a HUGE democratic landslide win.

What to expect? New Hampshire repeat (HRC v BO) except on a national scale. JM will take the election.

Comment by Goblintrain | 2008-10-03 14:33:37

If BO wins this election, it will be because of the MSM! Period! Sure, i have plenty of opportunity to inform myself for the vote, but millions of voters have no source but the MSM, & don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting the facts! The MSM has betrayed America! They need to be punished. How should we hurt them?

Comment by Portia | 2008-10-03 14:22:13

Kelvin,

Did you actually listen to what Biden said? I couldn’t keep count of the absurdities and lies and misrepresentations. Take this one: “When we kicked — along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said and Barack said, “Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.” Now what’s happened? Hezbollah is a legitimate part of the government in the country immediately to the north of Israel.”

I must have had the flu because I missed that little US-French conflict entirely.

Did I also hear Biden call for US ground forces to go into two African countries? No wonder they want us to cut and run in Iraq. Obama and Biden have a whole slew of wars lined up and Iraq isn’t on their play list. Barack wants us in Georgia too.

And aren’t you a tad shocked that a sitting member of the Senate Judiciary Committee hasn’t a clue what’s in Section II of the US Constitution. He really doesn’t know that a VP “presides” over the Senate? Why does he think that dude sitting in the front is called “President Pro Temp”.

Why am I the only one thinking that Biden isn’t working with a full deck?

Comment by ck | 2008-10-03 14:34:59

I noticed that President of the Senate exchange too. A first I thought O’Biden tone of voice (disgusted) was because he was thinking of Dick Cheney but now I think it was his true sexist nature showing through.
Poor Joe, the thought of a sitting VP exercising their power and in doing so violating the hallowed halls of their private club - and worse the violator is a woman - was too much for him.

And you know something else the worshipers of The One don’t understand? How very refreshing it is to hear someone who’s expletives don’t always start with “f”.

Just like Obama showing his total contempt for the residents of PA, every time an Obama supporter crosses the line with the name-calling and mockery, someone reading and listening becomes more determined to defeat this empty suit.

Sarah Palin is Occam’s razor to Joe Biden’s Rube Goldburg.

(ck and Betty, thanks for the kind words)

I watched Palin on Fox just a few minutes ago and I am very happy that she decided to challenge MSM and get on their stations. I have been waiting for her to believe in herself and stop following the stupid campaign’s advise. The first person I would like to see her go on is Chris Matthew’s show. Let him see the nice christian woman who believes in good values and also the love for her country. Let him see the beauty that some of us see in her and I am not referring to her good looks neither. The beauty within. I believe Chris has become angry and bitter because the Clintons and others have never wanted to go on his show. Of course we know why, don’t we? But, Sarah said she is wants MSM to make an effort and she will too. Go Sarah! Don’t worry about Gotcha questions from Chris. You have a smart mouth, charm the man with it. You used wit and charm and that is how you handle this man- poison smile and a “Oh…Chris…please…

Did anyone notice -on the yahoo photos - Biden handling little piper Palin. -holding (squeezing?) her shoulders .

Where did Biden stand up & say -Stop the attacks on the palin family? did I miss it?

And now he wants to paw the kid.
