Right Change Releases Four Hard Hitting Anti-Obama Ads

A 527 group called Right Change has released four anti-Obama ads. Each ad revolves around either the crisis at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac highlighting Obama’s ties to Fannie Mae’s former CEO and current unofficial advisor Franklin Raines or on Obama’s economic proposals. Technically, three ads are anti-Obama (negative) and one pro-McCain (positive). Each ad is a 30 second spot and packs quite a punch.
It has been my view that the 527 group ads that are attacking Obama over his past associations with William Ayers and the Reverend Wright are largely missing the mark. These center, I think, on issues that are more front and center in the campaign right now and I think that they might be more effective in reversing the tide towards Obama.

Our goal is to make sure that the coming wave of political change in America is the “right” kind of change, in terms of conforming to the facts and common sense.
They may be a non-profit but I’m not sure about non-partisan because these are probably the hardest hitting anti-Obama ads that I have seen so far. I’ll also note that as of late last week, 527 groups were spending 3:1 in favour of pro-Obama groups. In terms of minutes per medium, most of the anti-McCain ads are actually running on radio, not television. It seems odd that both the Obama campaign which is running the largest radio ad buys ever and the anti-McCain 527 group ads would independently opt for radio. 527 groups by law cannot coordinate any part of their ads or strategy with any candidate or his campaign.

These ads are a waste of money. They should use that money to organize a major demonstration in Washington against Obama.

Obama is a crook. Ask him what happened to the $100 million dollars from the Annenberg Challenge that was supposed to improve education in the Chicago Public Schools. Ask him about the millions he appropriated to rebuilding his district in south Chicago…or maybe you should ask, Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Rev. Pfleger, ACORN, and Rezko. Obama never speaks about his administrative duties at the Annenberg Challenge. Wouldn’t he want to fill up his thin resume with this important administrative job. Here’s what my plan to keep voters for Obama AWAY from the polls on Election Day…I think it’s worth hundreds of thousands of votes in key battleground states. First, we stop running ads on the radio and do very few on tv, instead we stockpile the money for, make a giant crack and marijuana buy, and of course lots of kegs of beer. Second, we start dropping flyers on College Campuses in key battleground states, we hire a bunch of bands, and hold a “smoke out for Obama concert” at places like Ohio State, Penn State, Univ. of Penn, Michigan, Univ of Florida, FSU, and of course Univ of Colorado. All day event, drink and smoke all day for free. We take the crack down to the “get crunked for Obama Rally’s”, hire Lil Wayne (he needs the money since he owes the IRS a million in back taxes), and maybe Kanye, Lupe and Souljer Boy, and throw these events at venues in Philadelphia, Detroit, Columbus, and Miami…come early and smoke for free all day. We just learjet these guys from one venue to the next, all day on Nov. 4th…
Problem solved. Young people for Obama would now have something better to do than go vote, even once, much less often, and we also don’t have to listen to under 25 Obots in the lines at the polls, we’ll only be left with 45 and unders with their 7-11 Obama coffee cups. That will be enough of a challenge on EDay. Be sure to take your anti nausea medication before driving to the precincts…I am sure we’ll need it!
The additional bonus to my plan, is if we stop putting money into ads for the next five weeks, we won’t have made anybody who has been forced to watch 10 ads an hour for a month on our candidate, want to pull their hair out everytime they turn on the tv…the only one being shoved down the voters throats would be Obama, and we all know how sick we are of hearing him already, just think of how much we will hate the sound of his voice by Nov. 4th.

I think a really good ad would be one with the good Reverend Jeremiah Wright ranting all his anti-Americanism, then showing Obama speaking in an interview that he never heard those things said. And a voiceover coming on saying “everyone else in Chicago knew of the teachings at TUCC, if Barack Obama didn’t even know what was going on in the church that he attended for 20 years, how could he know what’s going on in our America.”

This 527 might be more effective if it bought fewer ads, but made them 1 minute long. Difficult to make a clear and emotionally resonating ad explaining the relationship of Fannie & Freddie to to Obama in 30 seconds.

An ad that takes Obama’s words saying that American troops are air raiding in Afanistan and killing civilians like Palin talked about. I think they will unleash it after Tuesday’s debate.

They were very effective early this summer by fielding those outrageous adds. Sure, the adds failed the fact check, but they only had to run them a couple times before the networks picked them up, commented endlessly on them and gave the McCain campaign millions of dollars in free air time.
I think they bet too heavily on Palin and diverted their efforts. Sure, they energized a lot of stamp-lickers but they were mainly preaching to the choir.
I agree, this is an issue (money and taxes) people can relate to. Ayers and the Weathermen, not too much. A lot of ones most affected are gone now, and the modern audience measures them against Al- Qaida and are not impressed.
Ayers and education is ok, although all these white collar crimes get boring before they can be explained. That’s the basic problem with so many of Zero’s faults, getting people’s attention.

These are good ads. Right Change was their first ad. It does get the point across. We all know there is going to be change, just make sure it is the right change.
The attacks should also make a direct link of Obama’s community activist legal work for “affordable housing ” NINJA loans (no income no job application) forced on the banks with discrimination lawsuits . He should also be attacked for rhe privatizing of housing projects in his district that led to thousands of families being displaced because of Obama turning over these bldgs to tony rezko as well giving Rezko 14 million dollars of taxpayer money . IF OBAMA doest this to his OWN PEOPLE how will he treat THE REST OF US !!!!!

I think that most of it is real sentiment because it’s darn frustrating and depressing to see a political crook who should be disqualified for the position of POTUS have not only a lead but to have infiltrated everything from children (Singing for Obama) to our TV sets (Dish 73 Obama Ch.).
Then add the nuts that hate Palin so much, they lose what little reason they have left from the kool-aid vapors. These who think winking or saying “doggone it” deems her not only unqualifed, but one of many slurs I won’t repeat. Though I must say the jealous, bitter, elitist women crack me up.
Then we have the financial crisis that McCain is taking a hit on, one where Dems deserve much blame and I’m very pro-Clinton (both of them).
I can’t prove I’m not a troll…I post only occasionally and hope to settle on a name, esp. one I won’t forget.
On a positive note, I think some are now committed for the first time to keep a light on Washington, including me. And, if I didn’t love my country I’d say my former party deserves “O” and I look forward to the day when the DNC and surrogates find themselves screwed.
