While Sarah Palin continues her assault on Obama’s lies about his extensive, long-term associations with Bill Ayers, the Obama campaign is madly scrambling and is now claiming that, in the mid-1990s, Obama had no knowledge of Bill Ayers’ background. See The Page’s story, “Axelrod Says Obama Was In the Dark.”
If any of you believe that, I’ve got a mansion you can’t afford to sell you. But, I know that you know that makes no sense at all.
One blog has gone to a great deal of effort to explore the contemporaneous news atmosphere circa mid-1990s in the Chicago area, where both Obama and Ayers resided at the time, and to point out that it is impossible for Obama not to have been aware.

No. Obama has been groomed by Brezinski, Ayres, Wright to move with meteoric speed into power since the day he met Brezinski at Columbia Univ. while BO was a student and Brezinski was a professor. He’s their front man. They are his friends. He will help them realize their agenda for a socialist America and one world government.
To keep the truth from being told about who he really is, he couldn’t afford to fraternize with average people who might take issue and ask questions about his association with the likes of Ayres and Wright. Heck, even Oprah left Wright’s church because she did not approve of his message, but Obama stayed.

Actually I think the machine planned to run Blagojevich but when it was clear B would be indicted, went to their second choice. That’s why Obama seems to be unusually strange as a candidate. I don’t think he ever thought he would do anything more than local (eg mayoral) politics. He has a good web of friends to go places in Chicago.

I was just reading some posts from the Stealing Ohio thread and it occurred to me, two can play this game…if homeless can go to Ohio to vote for Barack, then why can’t homeless go to Ohio and vote for McCain?
I live a couple of hours away from Ohio, and I don’t have any problem anymore with playing dirty right back…at the very least, if we countered the effort, in an organized way, it would cause the Election results to be frozen and the courts to have to step in, manual vote counts in every state, if necessary. First he said he was never Muslim. Then the AP photo came out, and he says that his step father stated his religious affiliation as such because it was easiest for everyone for him to do so. Then he said he never had Kenyan citizenship, but now on his own website, he ‘fesses up that he had Kenyan citizenship because Barack Sr. was a British subject and by default, he also had Kenyan citizenship. If he sticks with the claim that he doesn’t know who Ayers is. It completely contradicts his claim that living in foreign countries as a child made him more politically and socially aware of the world.
Since these acts of terrorism were done in the name of third world countries and were also his mother’s causes. The Weathermen stayed in the news for years with their communiques and bombs. To think he wasn’t aware of Ayers and his group shows an incredibly ignorant child of the world.
So was he sheltered from the reality around him as a child or was he fully aware as he claimed previously for his foreign policy cred?

What will be interesting to see is if Obama’s attacks on McCain “distracting with swift boat attacks instead of talking about issues” will work.
I am convinced that they knew this stuff would come out and are trying to handle it with the race accusations, swift boat accusations, keating stuff.
I hope that McCain will be able to defeat these distractions from Obama. I am getting nervous as obama seems so confident that he will win. It may be masking fear, but this is a game of chicken here. I hope obama blinks and stumbles soon, like in tomorrows debate.

People need to know that it is not JUST Fox that is making these accusation.
Today’s msm has been corrupted so we need to go back in time to research these facts and put together for the voters.
Go back AT LEAST five years (in my opinion, based upon my observations) and consolidate facts from varied sources and put together to present to voters.
A liberal voter would be more open to believing facts that he/she learns are sourced from -oh I dont know maybe The Village Voice (prior to 2000) versus something sourced from FOX.
I heard Tom Hartman radio broadcast this morning and he was furious about the recent ’swiftboat attack’ against Sen Obama and he was quoting the article in the NYT as PROOF that Obama relationship with Ayers was casual.
Lately he has been shouting down guests on his show who question Sen Obama’s integrity and he did this morning. Today he shouted down a person he was interviewing. This woman (I think she was with the International WOmen’s Forum-sorry I caught tail end of interview)was politely trying to bring forth facts about Ayers and Obama that negate the conclusion reached by the NYT but Tom Hartman kept shouting over what she was saying each time she brought out a fact that we here at NQ know has been confirmed several times over by investigative journalists and others.
I have been a long time listener of Tom Hartman show and it bothers me to see the low levels he has been stooping too both in his use of ‘arguments and fallacies’ as well as shouting down guests who question Sen Obama’s ability to lead this country
Of course the Obama campaign knew the McCain campaign would hit them with the Ayers association in October. Why else would there have been a NY Times article this past weekend declaring there’s nothing to find between William Ayers and Senator Obama?
Unless the McCain campaign can prove a direct association with Senator Obama holding a smoking gun puffing goals of overthrowing the U.S., it’s going to be ignored. It will have less impact than Rev. Wright did.
The over age 40 voters have lived through Watergate, Irangate, Whitewater, etc… and they don’t pay attention to scandals anymore. They know they go nowhere. A few people might end up in a federal prison, but most end up with talk shows, book deals and speaking engagements that make them rich.

The McCain campaign just needs to keep pushing him for proofs by asking specific questions: “You didn’t know about this when at that time you were here doing this?” etc. Keep Obama on the defensive, no matter how “above it all” he wants to be.

Obama’s camp are panicking about the Ayers attack. we see Axelrod spew out a blatant stupid reply stating that Obama had no clue about Ayers’ bombing days…this after the fact that Obama had alrady stated that he condemned what Ayers’ did.
if that isn’t a sign that they are panicking, I don’t know what is.
the problem that Obama has is that in order for him to nullify the Ayers’ connection he has to answer the question about his Chicago Annenberg Challenge connection (the only executive experience he’s got that he doesn’t want to tout). If he can wiggle out of that, he’ll have to answer his Khalid connection. if he wiggles out of that, he’ll have to answer the ACORN connection. if he wiggles out of that, he’ll have to explain his citizenship status….it goes on and on and on, and I believe that McCain has a plan to lay all of them out in the open. Obama will have to shoot down bogies from all directions and by the time he shoots all of them down, people will start seeing that “where there’s smoke, there’s a fire.”

Yes, I agree with Ani who mentioned this earlier in a thread. Hannity knew this stuff I am sure clear back during the primary, but he tried to throw mud on her. Hannity is just really agains Dems and wanted her out of the way because the Republicans knew she was the biggest threat to them.
So–while I’m happy that Hannity is outing O’s past ties–I would have liked him a lot more if he had done it during the primary.

I hope McCain takes this issue on strongly in the Tuesday debate. McCain, as a former POW, can certainly have righteous indignation and disgust with a person like Bill Ayers. McCain can validly claim that he would not want to be in the same room with someone like that. I think this is a point only he can make and I hope he makes it. McCain’s convention speech was most effective when he talked about his love of country and his POW experience. Most Americans (except the DK crowd) do feel a great deal of love and respect for their country and would not want to be associated with someone they KNOW hates this country and wants to defeat this country. McCain can talk about this better than anyone.

I’ve even sent him about $300 this year, which I’ve never done for any candidate before. From the reports I heard when he was captured, he wasn’t so full of hatred then. He was cold, tired and wounded after being chased by “They Who Shall Be Unnamed” and when they caught him, they killed him. A Bolivian operative, more like a small time hood, had Che’s head and hands cut off and collected on the reward twice.
Che’ Guevara was responsible for the documented murders of 180 Cuban citizens. He was a piece of shit.
Anyone who idolizes him is, to me, less than that.
Columbia University is where Obama learned of William Ayers, and first met him.
SDS originated in Columbia, and the Weather Underground became the violent offshoot for those who felt peaceful demonstration was not enough.
Mark Rudd was a leader of the 1968 Columbia University strike against the Vietnam War and racism, the last National Secretary of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the largest radical student organization in the country in 1969, and a founder of the Weather Underground.

William Ayers ties to Columbia and Mark Rudd go back to 1968. It is undoubtedly where Obama first met Ayers.
SDS started in Columbia. From Columbia, SDS organized on many university campuses, of which, UM was one.
The Weather Underground was the violent offshoot of SDS. The Weather Underground was started in Chicago, during the 1968 Democratic Convention.
SDS members from campuses across the US met in Chicago during the convention. The radical offshoot split from SDS during the convention and started it’s rampage of violence during the convention.
As a leader of the New Weather Underground, Ayers found a home at Columbia, where SDS got its start.
Obama was a member of SDS at Occidental.
How do you know this? Why hasn’t that been covered on any of these blogs?
TAKING MATTERS INTO OUR OWN HANDS:
Clearly the McCain camp is taking too long to bring out the information that Americans should know about Obama. I understand the sensitivities of it all, but McCain has to hit now and he has to hit hard.
Here is what I propose: EVERYONE READING THIS COMMENT, should contact the RNC at 202-863-8500 and state that we want McCain to ask Obama, IN THIS DEBATE TOMORROW NIGHT, about “Why has he not allowed any of his college records to be released or why has no one he knows from any of those years, come forward stating they know him?”
THIS QUESTION WILL BE A TIMEBOMB THAT EVEN THE MSM WILL HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE NEXT DAY. This is one area where we, the average Americans, can make a difference.

McCain is finally taking off the gloves about Fannie Mae, directly accusing Obama of lying.

That, dear friends, is Barney, the “Big Purple Dinosaur” Frank, whose ex-lover was second in command at Fannie’s ‘new business’ bureau and directly benefitted from pillow-talk.
McCain MUST bring this out, too. The MSM will fight tooth and nail to keep from these stories. McCain’s best chance is to force a response from Barry and the MSM that they can’t deflect or dodge. Ayers, ACORN, Fannie and Frank.
I suspect, that if all the college records were revealed by Occidental, Columbia and Harvard (particularly Occidental), that is will show he applied with “Kenyan citizenship”. That would explain how a self proclaimed “bad student, with bad grades” got into this college (and the others). Many colleges will lower the standards to admit student listed from other countries to make their enrollment stats look more appealing.

Obama supporters see nothing wrong with the Weathermen. Bill Ayers is their hero. Bill Ayers knows he can sell books on Daily Kos by stomping on the American flag. These are the people who are giving Obama money and trying to foist Obama on America.

He has been sitting in Rev Wright’s church since at least 1985, and Wright knows who Wm Ayers was.
It is possible that his friend Frank Davis may have introduced them back at his Columbia days?
Why does he not have any friends to come forward, well other than Larry Sinclair.
