There should a definite co-relation. Remember the market if founded on capitalism, and socialism repudiates such commercial enterprises like the Stock Market.

Just remember 9/11 and what happened with the market.

Every time Obama is up, they remember also the taxes for the “rich” he is promising, and that means a redflag and “hands off” to uncertainty.

I certainly hope that Obama believes in the distributive aspects of Socialism.

I doubt if he has any false hopes about a planned economy aspect since Socialist enterprises have fallen short in incentive compatibility and disciplined pluralism. Some failures have been more spectacular than others.

My guess is that he will adapt some sort of plan to continue reformist capitalism and try to muddle through the way the past Presidents have. His initial hurdle is that the Reagan and post-Reagan blunders have diminished the assets he can employ to effect a solution.

However, it the country gets into a Big D Depression, events just might get out of hand.

People not getting it, Obama’s camp is putting out numerous stroies and lies so that should it become an issue tonight, Obama has many fields to rebuttle from and McCain will need many attack zones.

Larry should know this is common practice by lying pigeons so that the interrogation is dragged on and on, and in a debate format, time is limited.

It is all a game to pre=empt an assault on Obama tonight by the campaign of lies and smears co-ordinated by David Astroturf Axelrod!

The Weather Underground disbanded right after the Vietnam War ended, about 1976. The war was the main rallying issue of the left against the status quo. I hate Obambi, but actually admire the WU for what they tried to accomplish. Their bombs were set off only when they warned people in the area to clear that area, thus they never actually harmed anyone physically. In the end though, when Ayers talks about being unrepentent and not doing more, given the politics and heat of the times, I rather admire it. But I do fear his socialist tendencies in policymaking roles, and so Obambi must be stopped before he permanently pollutes our govenment with socialists. You think Bush was bad with his politicization of the Justice Dept? Wait till Barky and Co gets their hands on the whole executive and judicial branches!!

Soldier, thanks are to be given to these bitter angry democrats for the most vulgar and vile comments ever to be written on these blogs. It is due to these individuals that I have come to see what the D party stands for now. This morning I cast my early ballot and there was absolutely not a single ounce of hesitation casting my vote for McCain. Now I have to be honest and that vote was not just cast for McCain, I want to see Palin in the White House. (and I have to add, if she does a good job and Hillary decides to run again in 2012, I am going to have a hard time choosing who to vote for President in 2012)

Lisa, I think this is a very intelligent analysis. I, for one, am hoping for something beyond the “Whitey Tape,” which has become something of a holy grail. I have a rather naive hope that they could be sitting on some more pertinent evidence: proof of birth in Kenya or some other country would do it. But like you say, if something exists, they can’t very well reveal it at the last moment. It has to come very soon.
