Raila Odinga, who claimed that President Mwai Kibaki rigged his election victory earlier this year and whose followers rioted, raped, pillaged, and murdered after the election, is Barack Obama’s cousin. In a story reported by the BBC, Obinga celebrated his connection to the president hopeful by sharing his familial tie. According to Odinga, Obama’s father was his uncle.

If the family connection was all, it is easily dismissed because many of us have relatives we would rather forget. Sadly, that is not all. Odinga had a pact with the National Muslim Leaders’ Forum, a hardcore Islamic organization that represents Kenya’s Muslim minority. Odinga promised Muslim leaders that he would establish Sharia courts throughout the country once elected. He also promised to impose Muslim dress codes for women, prohibit the sale of pork and alcohol, and ban Christian preaching.

There is still more, and it takes us to the very crux of the matter. In the late summer of 2006, Barack Obama visited Kenya and vocally supported Odinga and his presidential ambitions. There are pictures on the web showing the two together. During that visit, the Kibaki government likened Obama to an Obinga “stooge,” an unfortunate moniker for a presidential hopeful.

Why would Obama become involved in the internal politics of another country? What should Americans make of Obama’s political endorsements and stumping for Odinga in Kenya? Surely, these incidents raise serious questions about Barack Obama’s judgment and his understanding of international decision-making. Is this how Obama plans to work with other countries if he should win the presidency? These are questions that demands Barack Obama’s answer.

Is ANY of this relevant? Yes, it may all be true. We could spend endless hours debating what should torpedo Obama’s campaign. We have been doing just that for almost 2 years. What difference does any of it make? Americans are going to vote this creep into office because they have been fooled again. Ambassador Annenberg announced a 500 million dollar gift to improve America’s schools and Ayers just had to get between Chicago’s school children and any of it that made it to Chicago. Obama, his friends and the Chicago Combine are like circling sharks, only instead of blood they smell money.

Does anyone know about the rest of the Annenberg Challenge money? The other 450 million? Where it went, What good, if any, it did for other schools in other cities?

Obama is not like me. He may be too tribal for my comfort. If he is elected I fear that he does not take office as a representative of me. It seems 50% of the voting public is represented by the right and the other 50% is split between Hillary/anti-Obama and Obama supporters. So he would be the leader of 25% of the voting public. I think he’s okay with that as long as he’s nominated and that bothers me. His campaign has always had more of a social networking feel to it. I’m older and private so I don’t do stuff like myspace, facebook, etc. It’s like I don’t belong, and won’t belong in an Obama administration. But, I’m not voting for him so I have no stake in his failures or successes. I am far, far, far removed from Barack H. Obama.

That photo of him standing behind Odinga on stage says it all. Barry is everyone’s stooge. Odinga is a very bad man and to think, Barry was working the crowd to support that guy. Are we, as Americans, so consumed with our money issues that we don’t care about what our country should stand for anymore? A potential future president with shady friends and a past that is one big question mark is not the kind of change we should be striving for!!!

There needs to be video with audio of what Obama actually said while with Odinga. Until we see the evidence, he could be saying anything.

It will be interesting to see if our state department intervenes in the arrest of Jerome Corsi. Where is Condoleeza Rice? I haven’t heard that she is doing her job in this respect. Where is George Bush? My eyes and ears are open, but I am not seeing or hearing that our government is doing anything to rescue an American citizen who is being detained by the cousin of a pretender who is vying for the most powerful office in the world.

We know that it is his exposure of Obama is the reason he was arrested, but why aren’t we doing anything about it? Obama could call off the dogs and make himself look good - but revenge is so sweet.
