I’m a hell of a lot less scared of Palin than Obama. Obama is just as antichoice as Palin, plus he has complete contempt for all women on top of that. You must not have been “paying attention” when Obama said he’d appoint justices like Roberts, Alito, and Thomas to the supreme court? You know justices who are grossly misogynist, don’t believe in the right to privacy, civil rights laws, and basically any liberal or progressive values. Obama dismissed those values as “mere ideology”

Palin, other than being antichoice is emphatically feminist. And she is on the record saying she will not go against laws on the books even if she personally disagrees with them. She also passed a domestic partners law in Alaska. She has gay friends, something Obama doesn’t have- in fact he’s really good friends with two virluently homophobic preachers. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wright and Pfleger are rabid homophobes as well…

I’m not voting for either McCain or Obama. I think the Republican way is wrong, whether it comes from someone who honestly calls himself a Republican, or a closet Republican like Obama.
I’m voting Green Party because they represent true liberal values- including feminism. I’m happy to vote for Cynthia McKinney. Her voting record is excellent on progressive ideals, and the Dem party leadership did a trial run trashing her, practicing for their smear campaign on Hillary. So I have lots of reasons for my Green party vote.

But, no, I’m not scared of Palin at all. Oh and “paysattention” here’s another bit of education for you- Cynthia McKinney is an African American woman, her running mate Rosa Clemente, is a Hispanic American woman. And, me, I have some Native American ancestry, enough that as a child other children thought I was Ameriasian and I was called a racial slur by them. So don’t even try to pull out that racist label. I bet I know a lot more about racism than you do. I voted for Jesse Jackson Sr in 1988’s primary and am still confident I voted for the right person who supported my values. I was so glad, even though it was breifly painful for him when the Obots attacked him, that Jesse Sr. real repulsion for Obama came out, Jesse Sr. also was very disgusted by Obama smearing the Clintons as racists, he disgustedly labeled it as “gotcha politics”. He also empathically stated that Bill and Hillary aren’t racists. He even came to Geraldine Ferrarro’s defense and said she wasn’t a racist either. I was so angered by the way the Obama campaign acted toward many AA leaders, dismissing their achievements, threatening and harassing them. Jesse Sr had a family that was very split on who they backed during the primary and he tried to be friendly to both sides. He passively endorsed Obama, his oldest son Jesse Jr. was an absolute misogynist creep backer of Obama (go look at the horrendous things he said during the primary), but his youngest son Yusef and his wife Jacqueline Lavinia Brown were enthusiastic backers of Hillary. Jacqueline Brown even made a radio ad in South Carolina speaking about her support for Hillary.
