All Obama would have to do to provoke an explosion would be to confront John McCain with the deplorable tone of the campaign he’s been running, and remind him that he said he was going to run an honorable campaign, focusing on the issues.

McCain’s temper is his Achilles’ heel. McCain knows it. Unfortunately for McCain, his opponents know it too.

Unlike Obama who didn’t visit his mother on her death bed but feels free to use her as an example of the evils of health insurance companies.

As a Harvard trained lawyer he could have scared the company into paying with 2 or 3 calls.

I just read your article and it echoed some of my reasoning when I cast my votes for Hillary in the Texas primary and the caucus.

I think Obama has a bright future in politics, but I believe he is premature in running for president now. The points you made in your article are so compelling and if people are paying attention, they will see it for themselves. I hope that more thoughtful discussion of these concerns will continue in the press. They certainly are being discussed in my home and with my friends here in Texas. There are too many uncertainties about him to vote on his inspiring speeches.

I like Obama’s message and the interest and energy he has brought to the primaries. I wonder… if he lost his bid for the nomination, would he will be just as passionate supporting Hillary who is fighting for the same causes he says are his? How committed is he to the changes we need if he is not the man in charge? I think the nation needs more time finding out who this man is before they will elect him president. Some people say only he can beat McCain, but today, Obama does not have my vote in that contest for several reasons.

Hillary may not be perfect, but I know her and love her as a candidate warts and all. I know that she is committed to change. It is still a man’s world in too many ways, I believe that is one of the reasons she gets bad press, she is persistent in making her point and winning, she IS a fighter. Even today, many men ( and some women too) do not like that in a woman.

If the US really wants to be the standard bearer in the world for leadership in human rights and democratic principles, then what better message can we send the world that our citizens are committed to those ideals than to put a highly qualified woman in the White House? With support from brilliant people like Obama and his camp it can happen. What hope can that accomplishment send to women across the globe that are still oppressed and marginalized? That is a dream that I would vote for.

Anyway, thanks for a great article. I appreciate it when I see my thoughts and feelings expressed so well in the press. I hope you appreciate my feedback and a little extra information on what one Texas primary voter is thinking today.

Has anyone ever seen the letter from Sen. Obama that precipitated this response? That could be interesting reading, too.

I write rude letters and emails to the DNC and Obamacrats daily (all using THEIR postage – what fools they are!) and I’m letting any of their flunkies that call me know what I feel about them and their loser candidate.

SO, I’d like to know what happened to the lady in TX. These ObamaBots are fucking nutcases and should all be examined by national security – not those who are not buying the Obama bullshit.
