Here are some factual quotes that you can share with others you’re trying to persuade — factual quotes that demonstrate how involved Obama has been, for decades, in Acorn:
Newsday reported in its March 2, 2008 article, “Chicago’s Streets Obama’s Teacher (link unavailable) that Acorn’s president, Madeleine Talbot, invited Barack Obama to train her staff at Acorn:
Several community organizers and Altgeld Gardens tenants confirmed Johnson was working on asbestos but said Obama organized residents to act. ‘He got people to vote with their feet’ on the issue, organizer Madeleine Talbot said. At the time, Talbot worked at the social action group ACORN and initially considered Obama a competitor. But she became so impressed with his work that she invited him to help train her staff.
The Wall Street Journal reported on July 12, 2008 in its article, “Obama’s Liberal Shock Troops,” that Barack Obama was hired by Acorn in 1992 to run a voter registration effort.
We also know this from the socialist party newsletters that Matthew Weaver uncovered in his must-read NoQ article, in which the New Party endorses Obama and, among his resume items, lists: ” In 1992, he was Director of Illinois Project Vote, a voter registration campaign that made Carol Moseley Braun’s election to the U.S. Senate much easier than it would have been.”

Indeed, Mr. Obama has extensive connections with the granddaddy of activist groups, Acorn (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), which has gotten millions in government grants for its low-income housing programs. In 1992, Acorn hired Mr. Obama to run a voter registration effort. He later became a trainer for the group, as well as its lawyer in election law cases. Acorn’s political arm has endorsed Mr. Obama while its ‘voter education’ arm has pledged to spend $35 million to register people this fall — despite a history of vote fraud scandals that have led to guilty pleas by many Acorn employees.

The character vetting is working. And it’s time to tie Obama and Ayers with ACORN now. Time for Americans to know the truth.
There is a very clear line between Obama, Ayers, ACORN and the current financial crisis. Look up (can’t post link directly) Peter Kirsanow’s National Review (The Corner blog) post from 10:41 AM today, October 10th. It lays a good, simple map out for how this will be done.
Let’s keep working, people. Our efforts are paying off, but there’s still a lot to be done to fully inform the public of Barack Hussein Obama’s radical, disastrous-for-America past.

I’m willing to bet that 29% number is a lot higher than, say, a week ago.
It’s going to be interesting to see where that number will be one week from today. And what the numbers will be like with ACORN, as well.

No wonder BO had such an easy time of pushing Palmer and the others out of that Ill. senate race. Good point. I never made that connection, but you’re right. His team of lawyers did come in and ‘invalidate’ many names on the different candidate’s petitions that would have allowed them to run against him. It probably was Acorn who did the work of gathering up those signatures. WOW.

Mrs. Clinton has called for a stop on forclosures to prevent people from been thrown out of their house. Goolsby says: No, that interferes with the market. Mrs. Clinton said: Let’s lift the gasoline tax on the public and switch the taxation to Exxon Mobil and BP and Chevron and make them pay out of there super profits that they got in speculating in the oil market. These companies are now bringing in 10 billion dollars each every three or four months, so that’s obscene super profits. Goolsby says: No, we can’t touch any of that. Goolsby is also the guy who was caught negotiating with the Canadians telling them don’t mind what Obama says about free trade: He’s a free trader, I’m a free trader, we gonna have more free trade sell outs. The North American Free Trade Zone is gonna be preserved and expanded, so don’t listen to what he said, he’s just demagoguing the issue for these poor little unemployment workers at Pensylvania and Ohio. So, that’s Goolsby. So Goolsby is a member of Skull and Bones. If you want an administration without Skull and Bones you better not pick Obama, because his main economics guy is from Skull and Bones and from this Chicago School, so Goolsby is a free trader.
You also got another couple of people with Obama on the economic side who have talked about privatising Social Security. That would be exactly what Augusto Pinochet did in Chile under the guidance of the Chicago School. So Obama’s economists are real right wingers. I mean, they’re practicaly in the Bush camp when it comes to economics. So if you look at al this together, the idea that Obama is somehow different from the stuff you’ve seen under Bush, it’s not true. He’s more aggressive than Bush when it’s comes to bombing Pakistan. He’s just as reactionary on things like Social Security. But he does it with this left cover and of course the way he does it is the style of the utopian, messianic rethoric, hope ‘I can bring you together, I can overcome partisan divisions’.’

What do you propose the candidates talk about with the issues that they haven’t repeated ad naseum with vagueness? You strip away all that and all you get is the character of each candidate. Obama has a group of friends and associates that either hate America or lie and cheat. Can anybody update the story about Obama being a member of a socialist organization? I caught a bit of this story and it was reported that his campaign said he didn’t know that he belonged to this organization. Apparently, their campaign says, an aide made a mistake signing some papers and he was accidently signed up? If this is true, you just can’t make this stuff up. I have been taught all my life to be honest and tell the truth. In front of my eyes, in the world spotlight, this guy and his minions just bold face lie over and over! How do people ever get sucked in by this fraud? I do not get this at all. Americans can’t be this stupid. I think they are not really listening to any of this stuff.

Interesting. So Obama sued for sub-prime loans against Citibank (I’m assuming when he was involved with ACORN). And now it is sub-prime loans that are sinking our economy because of misguided pushiness on the part of groups like ACORN and completely greedy bankers/loan institutions.
I have to say, there IS a tie to Obama’s ability to – once again – exhibit good judgment. No pun intended, but this whole ACORN thing is nuts and, combined with other elements, will probably be Obama’s downfall; and rightly so.

You are talking about votes that are decided. They may or may not turn out, but if they do it is a given they will vote for Obama. The votes in play are the undecideds and those that are soft for Obama, and there are a lot of each group. Those are the people who do care about Ayers, and will care about everything else to come. Graft and corruption have never sat well with voters and Obama is up to his neck in it.

Some repoter on Fox today took pictures of McC, Ob, Cheney, Biden and Judge Judy(a couple of others too, I forget who) and asked a number of people to identify who was in each picture. The only one they got right was Judge Judy. These were younger Americans and they did not even identify the current candidates with accuracy. Unbelievable that these people will be voting on Nov.4. Seriously, it is a joke of an election if these kinds of voters will be pushing the buttons. It won’t matter what is put out re either candidate because so many Americans are not listening and don’t care. Maybe the last week before Nov.4, people will wake up, so that maybe the week to hit hard for the McCain campaign.

I am thinking that for these “kid” voters… McCain needs to use powerful imagery to fight the image these kids already have of Obama as a “teach the world to sing” kind of a Utopian figure. Trying to teach them now about communism and why the “evil empire” was evil can’t be done in the next few weeks. To most of these kids… this is an entirely new concept to them… the educational system in this country being what it is. But getting to them is possible… using imagery they are familiar with. The best idea I had so far, I think is the “Berlin Wall”. All of these kids have seen images of the Berlin Wall coming down. These kids don’t have to understand communism to understand that Obama = socialism = Berlin Wall. The pictures of Obama in Germany could be used along with the crowds and images of German fascism, soviet tanks, Tiananmen Square, and the Berlin Wall. I think these kids could get a grasp of that… and that is not “hopey-changey”,”feel good”, “coke and a smile” stuff. It is very real. It must be made real to them… because it is very real.
Why didn’t McCain say this during the debates, when tens of millions of people could have heard it?
In the next and final debate McCain is going to roast Obama’s chestnuts but good! I can hardly wait!
