Organized Voter Fraud financed by the federal government thanks to Reid, Dodd, Franks, and Obama. When does the stupidity end. We lost 700 thousand jobs this year. If we lose 2 million illegal immigrants we will have full employment of Americans.

Comment by Sane Voter | 2008-10-10 12:18:08

There is absolutely no proof of Acorn committing voter fraud, which requires individuals to commit fraud in the process of actually VOTING.

Wow Sane Voter sounds like the NYT, too bad in 2004 and in 2006 they did find more than a handful of votes in fact thousands of votes by dead people, imaginary people, underage people, pets. How about those 30,000 imaginary people’s registrations in one city in Indiana. Acorn isn’t real bright when they’re reigstering 30,000 more people than actually live in the city and are of the age to vote. Too bad the recounts were stopped in 2004 and 2006 because they didn’t want to bring national attention to ACORN and were finding thousands upon thousands of votes, actual votes with the same thing. On of Obama’s lawyers said yesterday just a handful of ACORN employee’s have been arrested for voter fraud, we need to find out the actual number and why the employee’s are being fined and jailed and not the employers…I think you’re right it’s always with Obama, nothing to see here move along. When there is PLENTY to stop and see here.

Are you sure?

Comment by Sane Voter | 2008-10-10 12:39:49

Yes, I am positive. Voter fraud requires voters to actually vote under a false name, multiple times, or somehow break they law while voting.

There is absolutely no proof of Acorn attempting massive voter fraud.

Not a single person here actually understands what the attacks on Acorn actually are. None of you understand the voter registration process. You’re just bots who repeat whatever the front page posters tell you and question nothing. You’re a cult. It’s terribly frightening.

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-10-10 12:42:30

If it’s fraud, and it is, and it’s about voting, and it is, and it’s about an election, and it is, you will have a very hard time convincing the public that it isn’t voter fraud.

Comment by Rocky Mountain High | 2008-10-10 12:59:28

Voter fraud is NOT limited to actual voting, but legal forms submitted with registering wrong information. They registered a Cat named Stewart in Ohio who may just be the one to decide the election ;-0 LOL

Seriously folks, Acorn has registered 12 yr olds to vote and has used the same name in several cases 10 times. That’s called voter fraud. The FBI is all over this, and this will cost the Dems the election in the end. Which let’s face it, is only fair and karmic, as they tolerated caucus fraud and devalued people’s votes in the primary. Time to clean up their act.

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-10-10 13:12:43

Comment by McHope | 2008-10-10 13:14:04

Boo!

ACORN most assuredly is participating in voter fraud. They have the list of people they register illegally. They use those names to open up opportunities for people to vote illegally, be it more than once, be it those who have no right to vote in the first place.
If a fake name makes it on the rolls in a state that does not require ID to cast a vote then explain how that does not provide an opportunity for voter fraud.Explain how instructing students to vote twice- in their school state and home state is not voter fraud.
Next time, just simply say you are not in favor of the democratic process of one person one vote instead of defending the indefensible.
Let’s hear it- I, Sane Voter, hereby announce I would like a dictatorship in the United States of America. I hold no sanctity for the voting process and am not offended at all when those who seek to overt it are encouraged by a candidate.

Comment by Betty | 2008-10-10 13:23:28

Acorn has someone in Texas registered to vote who is dead, and that dead person already voted in the Texas primary.
At first I thought the fake registrations were because Acorn paid day laborers to register voters by how many they registered and so tempting an individual to cheat, and that was as far as the cheating went.

Now we have proof one of the actual dead people has already voted and that speaks of deeper fraud.

I can’t help but think the FBI, with the raids on Acorn in different states, are trying to get their hands on the master list. We know it must exist somewhere.

Isn’t there just one Obamabot who will put country before kool aid and deep throat Obama? Please. Even if you end up wearing cement overshoes, a lot of brave men and women have died for this country. And Americans will never forget you, we will name Airports after you, and Schools, and Stadiums, and Post Offices, and huge buildings and a Friday-Monday National paid holiday after you.

Comment by xax | 2008-10-10 13:51:11

You evidently have no idea what’s going on because there is evidence that ACORN is doing exactly what you said. Misrepresenting names and having people register multiple times. Technically not voter fraud, but registration fraud. You say we are a cult but you choose to ignore the outright evidence because it makes your side look bad. And it does. Blindly faithful, I guess.

See the problem is you try to dismiss the allegations because it does not “technically” count as voter fraud. Yet you are missing the key argument that what they are doing is wrong. PLAIN WRONG. They are registering people falsely. And the organization is getting tons of money from the Democrats.

If you lay with dogs, you get fleas.

Comment by eebaltimore | 2008-10-10 14:11:32

Sane Voter: This voter registration fraud matter is a typical ACORN tactic. One of their principal strategies is to OVERWHELM AND CREATE CHAOS, TO WIN AT ANY COST. This is why they are willing to pay people to go out and register cats, Dallas Cowboys, dead people, etc. They hope that they will overwhelm the registrars, so that some of their fraudulent registrations will remain on the voting rolls on election day.

Just wait until you see the chaos they will create on Nov. 4. This election will be in limbo for weeks. And, Obama’s ACORN pals will have their filthy fingerprints all over it.

Again, ask yourself if a man whose character would pay for & allow these tactics should be the leader of the free world.

The principle of ONE PERSON ONE VOTE is sacred to Democracy as we know it. Obama has already violated this by cheating in the caucuses– with the complete complicity of the DNC, I might add. Unbelievable…

Comment by nailbiter | 2008-10-10 17:16:12

Finally someone else can see the big picture. They are playing our own system against us like a fine tuned piano. These tactics are right out of the play book laid out by Alinsky and Cloward & Pivens. Thank you.

Comment by cookiegramma | 2008-10-10 14:49:03

Okay, take me on. I do understand the process of voter registration. My mother was an assistant registrar of voters. Fraud is the intention to permit someone who is not elligible to vote in an election to intervene and thus change the results of an otherwise honest process. The voter fraud being discussed here is the act of registering people to vote and having absentee ballots sent out to those newly registered. This is but one part of the fraud being perpetrated by the members of ACORN. The Obama campaign is using these phoney voters in two ways. They can have numerous “people ” vote from Chicago in Ohio, florida and even CT. They are also raising money from supporters based on the high number of newly registered voters. These supporters believe that they are purchasing influence in the Obama presidency (ugh!) so they donate more money because they now believe that the chances are better for a win. No ne is claiming that these imaginary voters will show up en masse at the actual polls, but absentee ballots do get counted. The whole thing is a registrars nightmare, and I for one believe that groups like ACORN should be sued to pay the hundreds of hours of taxpaid overtime put in because of the fraud.

Comment by Vicki | 2008-10-10 21:28:26

Any violation of the laws regarding registering or voting is “VOTER FRAUD.”

“Sane Voter” is the one who hasn’t a clue about ACORN committing voter fraud.

Comment by Dr. Kate | 2008-10-10 16:06:11

voter fraud and happen without actually voting!

It’s called false voter registration, like you know cats, dogs, dead people….and of course there are several individuals in Acorn that have been arrested for doing just that. Who caused the dead person to vote? ACORN.

You are totally foolish, and part of a cult, if you don’t understand this. And if you think you do, I want legal sources and sites that prove your view of “voter fraud”.

Acorn is being investigated by the FBI (thanks Patrick Fitzgerald) in 12 states, the most recently raided in Nevada. The money barky gave acorn was used to intimidate caucus goers during the primary season–don’t forget to watch “We will not be Silenced”. It is being used now for fraudulent registration, i.e., voter fraud. The Ohio Secretary of STate was found to be violating federal election laws precisely because she wasn’t going to check on the fraudlent ACORN-submitted registrations.

What you bots don’t understand is that people here know quite a lot about what is going on. There are a dozen articles on this site documenting ACORN, its fraudlent practices, and its ties to Obama and this current financial crisis.

Look for Fitz’s next indictment: ACORN and the Obama campaign on a RICO charge of perpetuating fraud on the US electoral system.

Go along now, little doggie.

Comment by Paul F. Villarreal | 2008-10-10 12:36:14

Garbage. ACORN just admitted in Ohio that their registration process is — and will continue to be — fraught with fraud. Stop trying to play semantic games.

Here’s ACORN on their admitted voter fraud. Remember, Barack Obama worked for this organization which is here admitting that it engages in fraud:

http://www.cleveland.com/community/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/cuyahoga/122345478771640.xml&coll=2

“A national voter-registration group admitted to Cuyahoga County election officials Tuesday that it cannot eliminate fraud from its operation.”

Now is the time for more righteous anger about what Obama and his ACORN stooges are doing to try to steal the election, wreck the economy and lose America’s wars. I haven’t even mentioned Ayers yet, either.

The media is trying to give outraged Americans a collective sedative because they want us all to sit back and accept terrorist befriender Obama being shoved down our throats.

No way.

Get pissed, and get in motion. This is an all-out battle, and the Chicago Thug Set needs to be repulsed. If you think the economy is bad now, you haven’t seen anything if Ayers’ protege is elected. 74% of CEO’s say an Obama administration would be disastrous to the US economy.

We need to be upset right now. Our nation is at stake, and repeatedly-illegal outfits like Obama’s ACORN are leading us into impending doom if we allow them to perpetrate their voter fraud unchecked.

Comment by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy | 2008-10-10 12:59:51

Paul, you are absolutely right. And that Obama PAID ACORN $800,000 makes him absolutely involved with ACORN!!! How can that even be in dispute (despite his inept attempts to blow smoke on this issue)? Given that ACORN has already been under investigation for voter registration fraud, his choice to employ them is suspect at best. $800,000.

And did anyone else know the bailout bill kept in $500 million dollars for Community organizations?! That is completely unacceptable.

So, yes – we damn sure should be upset!

Comment by Kal | 2008-10-10 13:12:54

Hmmm. I wonder where BO got that $800K for ACORN services — maybe from some of those weird multiple donors the FEC is investigating? And maybe while they were at it, those donors also filled out some of those weird multiple voter registration forms?

I can’t believe that the majority of Dems would snooze through what is shaping up!

Or, maybe its just not the Dems I thought I once knew….

Comment by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy | 2008-10-10 13:45:26

My paper actually had the LA Times article on that today – couldn’t believe it! Of course, there was the standard Obama retort: “Oh, yeah? Well, McCain has some bad ones, too! So, leave us ALOOOONNEEE!!

Comment by Mary | 2008-10-10 14:40:36

Naw…..the standard Obama retort is “Criticizing Acorn means you’re a racist who doesn’t care about poor people.”

Kinda like Barney Frank said about anyone criticizing Fannie or Freddie, while they bankrupted our country.

But if Obama wins, and the Dem Party controls Congress, there will be no investigations of same, and no charges filed.

Think about that, America.

Comment by Paul F. Villarreal | 2008-10-10 13:57:27

You got it, Amy. Sane Voter is, unsurprisingly, most insane in denying the repeated voter fraud that ACORN has been convicted of.

That’s Obama’s ACORN for you, just another arm of his Stalinist, thuggish plan to destabilize and destroy America from within.

If you’re not angry about what this terrorist-befriender and his anti-American posse is doing, you have no soul or sense of patriotism.

Obama’s being elected = Nero fiddling in the distance for America. What’s going on with the economy now is nothing like what will happen if Obama is elected.

Save our country. Vote McCain.

Actually, that is not true — look at Washington State in 2006 — I believe the Secy of State noted huge voted fraud there — one example of 1800 people ACORN registered to vote — only 6 were legitimate.

If there was nothing fishy going on then the Ohio Dem. Secy of State, Ms. Brunner, would not be fighting against the latest court order.

There is plenty to see here and we’d better start looking very closely.

Thanks as always to Lou Dobbs for being just about the only journalist or pundit at CNN who is not drinking the koolaid.

NOT! Conspiracy to commit voter fraud should be a capital offense, punishable by death by Public Stoning. No, i am not joking about that either! I am shocked by the public’s failure to grasp just how deadly vote fraud is to our way of life.

Comment by tzada | 2008-10-10 13:40:47

Another scary thing is this. Obama said, I am glad that we have control of the electronic voting machines in Ohio. !! What was that about? Also one of his SD has been involved with electronic voting machines (Diebold)in fact he got the DNC to back their use.

I don’t have the link, but I saw it twice and it should be ezy to google.

Comment by Leisa | 2008-10-10 12:59:46

We will see. I am still waiting to hear about what happened at the caucuses.

I witnessed voter fraud by Obama supporters with my own eyes at the Precinct Convention. I filed a report and I am aware that there are hundreds like mine. Of course, we do not hear about it in the MSM.

You can play semantic games all day long, but cheating is cheating.

If you can easily register several phony people to vote, chances are good that voter fraud will occur.

Comment by Newly Independent | 2008-10-10 13:07:45

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-10-10 13:35:48

Sane…..it’s really quite simple. Many states have eliminated voter ID laws.

False registrations, therefore, become the focus.

We really would just like to see a sane method of voting.

Good grief, we have no problem with driver’s licenses. I’ve never heard of a single case where someone was able to to tap in and get that ID.

This is all process stuff.

Nobody is trying to suppress votes or stuff the ballot box.

The real issue with ACORN is pretty easy to me. It’s sloppy. It hires neer-do-wells who are lazy and make up names. It also is sucking up federal money. NOT OK. It’s clearly partisan. Obama hired them, via his multiple payments. (So much for his on-the-ground troops….it’s ACORN. The youth are just blogging for him.)

It was even worked into the “rescue bill.”

Whatever….it’s an activist group for Democrats. Let them support it.

If they wish to clog up the registrar’s jobs, OK. That comes with a price tag.

Pay up.

It is now time for Obama to pay up.

He hired them.

His great expansion of Democrats turns out to be a flim-flam job.

Pay up.

And……..if the reality bites?

What’s wrong with this picture?

This is obama’s campaign tactic.

Pay up.

Comment by Rob in Chicago | 2008-10-10 13:41:19

Its still fraud that enables multiple voting. So they are simply doing the “set-up”, and turning over the “finishing touches” to one of their affiliates. Like the person who “fixes” the voting machine. That person didn’t actually manipulate the results from that machine, just enabled and facilitated the work of the person who did the actual manipulation. ACORN, just the getaway driver in this heist.

Comment by cynic | 2008-10-10 13:46:14

Sure it does.

How many voters fraudulently registered as famous sport figures, dead people, and restaurant owners are going to show up at the Indiana polls carrying valid photo IDs?

The phony registrations were supposed to be discovered. The idea is to discredit an organization that has registered millions of entirely legitimate voters, and to discredit the candidate that they’re likely to vote for.

Comment by Hope Floats! Flush Twice! | 2008-10-10 17:44:16

If ACORN still submits these forms to the state election boards, then the intent to commit fraud is still there. It is more likely that they’re trying to overwhelm the registrars and allow more fraudulent forms to slip through the cracks. A bunch of outrageously fake submissions will make some questionable forms look legitimate by comparison.

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/did_clinton_darken_obamas_skin.html

Jamal spoke of this, Sean Wilentz spoke of it. If Obama didn’t want to be compared to Jesse Jackson, maybe he shouldn’t have put R&B in his SC advertisements, shouldn’t have sent black-only emissaries to the Black SC community, and should have put Wright, who was doing the rounds, on pause. The message in South Carolina put out by Obama’s campaign, whether the media wanted to ignore it or not, was “Vote for me I am Black.” To then come back and smash Bill Clinton for mentioning Jesse Jackson, that’s audacity; Axelrod made this clear through his surrogates, while he had Obama say that what the Clintons’ said was “unfortunate.”

The choice is clear. Most of all we can choose between hope and fear. It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy. We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid. They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. Only THEN do I believe the press will look into what happened, because they won’t have their “first black president” story to run with for months, and they’ll eventually run out of interest in their “America is so racist it won’t vote for a black guy” headlines.

Here’s the latest from Plouffe — I think I’m seeing the fear:

K. — Who is Barack Obama?

John McCain keeps asking this question at his rallies — then he gives answers that are shockingly false and negative.

That’s why it’s vital that you sign up to volunteer for at least one day during the final days of this election. Voters won’t know the truth about Barack unless supporters like you reach out to them.

I also wanted to share a video of personal moments from behind the scenes at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, so you can see Barack and Michelle as they are — decent, warm, and kind people with a loving family.

Watch the video and get to know the Obamas a little better. Then sign up to volunteer on a crucial day before the Election:

Watch the video and sign up

Our opponents try to stir up doubt and fear by questioning who Barack really is — as if after more than a decade in public office, more than 20 months on the campaign trail, dozens of debates, two books written by him and dozens more about him, people still don’t have enough information to decide for themselves who should lead our country.

Millions of Americans have gotten to know Barack Obama as an American who’s devoted his life to things bigger than himself — his community, his country, and ordinary citizens looking for a voice.

Our challenge now is to do the same — to devote these last weeks to a cause bigger than ourselves.

These tough economic times make our cause more urgent and the stakes even higher. Barack needs your help to win this election and bring the change we need to Washington.

Can you give a day of your time during the last four days of the election?

Watch the video, share it with others, and get involved:

http://my.barackobama.com/4Days

Only 24 days remain until Election Day. Won’t you commit at least one to ensure our victory?

P.S. — You can make a difference in a nearby battleground state where the election is neck-and-neck. Find your state page and click Drive for Change.

And I wonder what ‘Drive for Change’ is going to have people doing to help Barack.

What’s shocking is we just don’t know anything about Obama.

Where are his IL legislative records? Lost.
Where is his original birth certificate (not a reissue)? Lost.
What did he ever accomplish besides getting his next better job? I haven’t gotten a good answer from anyone on this.

Right now it’s looking like the “October Surprise” will be indictments of ACORN and some members of Obama’s campaign for voter registration fraud under RICO because it went across state lines. Yes, these people haven’t voted yet, but when you claim something on an official government document under penalty of perjury, it’s a big problem (they already voted in OH – that’s voter fraud).

And game over for Obama.

Who is Barak Obama: A fraud, a poseur, a rabble rouser, a lier, a thief. (stole Hillary’s votes). an arrogant man, a snob, a sub-prime lender fan, a lawyer (need I say more?), a promoter of social engineering, (damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead), an arugula-eating, effeminate, liberal, egg-head, or maybe air-head?, a man who will probably tax our gasoline and natural gas usage to keep us from using more than HE thinks we should, a promoter of African economic wealth from our pockets, or to quote the King of Siam, ” etc., etc, etc.”

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways, NOT.

Comment by Hillary or Bust | 2008-10-10 12:10:29

Somebody needs to do some investigative reporting and see if there’s a tie between ACORN and the caucus fraud. If that link can be made before the election, and it gets out in the mainstream media, I bet a heck of a lot more Hillary supporters will be voting for McCain.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-10-10 12:43:16

The tactics were the same, but the caucus training came from Obama caucus “camps.”

He used the same “grassroots” tactics.

He’s effectively employed activist tactics all along in this campaign.

Here’s why it works. Those are super-aggressive and would be blasted out of the water were they to be used by the “status quo.” However, this year, the “status quo” is actually the underdog.

So…..his activist tactics act like rocket fuel.

There’s no question that Lou Dobbs has taken important steps to disclose who Obama is.
NOW HE NEEDS TO SLAM THE ABSENT MSM

Comment by ce415 | 2008-10-10 12:27:47

I keep wondering why the MSM is so in the tank for Obama. Four years ago they would not even tell us htat Bush wore a radio recceiver to a debate or that the Swift Boaters were lying. Eight years ago we were told Gore was the most terribly dull intellectual and way out of touch while Bush had the character and integrity. 12 and 16 years ago the MSM hated the Clintons. after the love affair wiht Reagan and GHW Bush.
So why does the MSM give Obama the Bush treatment??Even after the story yesterday by Dean Reynolds about the treatment of the media by Camp Obama. Bush did try to de-regulate the media through the FCC to respond, but he was not totally successful. What has Obama promised?

Democrat or Republican, the MSM only supports large corporation/Wall Street interests.

And they will blindly support ANY candidate who supports their interests – at the expense of the majority of Americans.

That’s why the MSM totally supported the bailout bill – even though most Americans were AGAINST it.

And it’s why they blatantly support Obama.

Arms And the Man

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun…”
–Barack Obama

“Of arms and the man I sing…”
–Virgil, Aeneid I, 1

Of arms and the man now, like Virgil I sing,
Who a gun to a fight once boasted he’d bring,
If that’s how it’s done on Chicago’s south side,
With him may my country never collide.

If they bring a knife, he said, we bring a gun,
Let not his language shock you, or stun,
If to a rumble a campaign he compared,
Or to employ such metaphors dared.

Of arms and the man with alacrity sing,
And every device of poetry bring,
Lest any part of the cause of his fame
Fail to be met with the highest acclaim.

Your unemployment problem may be resolved,
For Barack will not let you stay uninvolved,
Barack “will require you to work,” we were told,
To declare which, his spouse herself has made bold.

Tell me, was it mere powder or crack
That made you indenture yourself to Barack?
What’s yours now be his; and what’s his be his too,
If for him you voted, this be your due.

The ancient poet, if now he were alive
Some means or other would surely contrive
To ask the Muses what fortune or curse
In such disaster this land could immerse,

Like Communist countries we had once mocked,
And by whose propaganda were shocked,
Whose masses once looked less living than dead,
Proclaiming in song that the East is now Red.

And now, O Great Leader, I’m talking to you:
That there are neither red states nor blue
But only the United States, you declaimed,
For which assertions I did not have you blamed,

Some fans of yours can speak only of race,
Themselves with calumnious words they disgrace,
The color I see isn’t black– only red,
The color of blood of a baby who’s dead.

Its death had been planned for its own mother’s womb,
But when it escaped from the preordained tomb,
It was to be left in a closet to die,
The poet knows not where this victim may lie,

Such were the children you would not protect,
Lest you lose the slightest of NARAL’s respect,
Of blood I now sing, and the pallor of death,
And children who now have drawn their last breath.

Of arms and the man, and the crack of a gun
Of violence, by which the land’s overrun
Of a country now by evil beguiled,
Of a deadly knife applied to a child,

Of terror connections swept under rugs,
Of death threats and goons and internet thugs,
Of lies and of slander and friendships destroyed,
And everywhere treacherous agents deployed,

Of aberrant policies skewed to the left,
Of fraud and coercion and caucusing theft,
Of all of these and of more shall I sing,
Maledictions which to my country you bring.

By your own actions I show what you’ve earned,
That you be loved, or that you be spurned,
For your office now deign to show some respect,
Each human life to the weakest protect.

Of arms and the man, and the blood on your hands,
I sing– the damnation your behavior demands,
Change your heart now; change your policies too,
A nation’s healing at last let ensue.

American voters can consider both at once – as well as many other considerations. They can also walk and chew gum at the same time.

Comment by Here's Your D-mn October Surprise | 2008-10-10 12:36:12

There are a few interesting points that haven’t been mentioned by accusers concerning ACORN’s alleged participation in voter fraud:

ACORN is required by law to submit ALL voter registration forms collected by its organizatin to county election officials, even if those forms are only partially completed, and even if it suspects those forms to be fraudulent.

ACORN inspects voter registration forms collected by its representatives, and flags questionable forms as suspicious before submitting them to county election officials. The notorious Jimmy John’s registration submitted in Lake County, Indiana, for example, arrived at the county election office already flagged by ACORN as being bogus.

Those actually collecting registration applications at the neighborhood level are part-time employees with no permanent connections or commitments to ACORN. They were hired solely to collect applications.

So, I ask you: How hard would it be to create a high profile, multi-state voter fraud issue, by simply paying a dozen or so ACORN part-timers to fill out and submit hundreds of obviously bogus registration applications?

I’m asserting that this is exactly what republican operatives have done. The entire voter fraud issue is itself a carefully planned republican campaign fraud. Lawyers were already poised in key states to file complaints as soon as the story broke. It broke simultaneously in numerous locations, and was quickly pushed into the media spotlight. This false-flag operation will be the centerpiece of FOX’s anti-Obama propaganda from now till election day.

Why would anyone seriously attempting to perpetrate registration fraud use the names of well-known local restaurants as home addresses?

Why would they use the names of various high-profile celebrities and sporting figures as the applicants? Those names are going to immediately leap right off the page.

Why would they have the same person sign a hundred consecutively submitted forms in the same idential handwriting?

No one could have possibly thought these things would go unnoticed. These things were meant to be noticed.

We’d have to be stupid not to figure that out.

Comment by Mary | 2008-10-10 14:48:33

My God – surely you did know that many Americans DON’T VOTE, didn’t you? Most Americans sadly don’t bother to vote mainly because they can’t stand politicians at all. That means that virtually no one is looking out for voter scammers during election time. Low voter turnout makes voter fraud a lot easier to get away with.

And that’s why crooked organizations like ACORN usually get away with such blatant fraud. The only times that these organizations don’t get away are during closely watched elections like this one. Elections like this one bring out higher than normal numbers of voters. And that means that more people are monitoring the voting process – from the registrations to the ballots.

LATEST FROM RASMUSSEN:

Voters say Barack Obama beat John McCain in Tuesday night’s presidential debate 45% to 28%, but they also think McCain is better prepared to be president than Obama by an 11-point margin.

Over one-quarter of voters (28%) didn’t pick either man as the winner of the debate, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken Wednesday evening.

Sixty-one percent (61%) say McCain is prepared to be president, while 50% feel that way about Obama. While 28% say McCain isn’t ready to be the chief executive, 43% say that of the Democratic nominee.
– - – - -

That 61% is big. Makes me believe that some folks may hesitate voting for BO when they get in that voting booth…

There is no way people will vote for Obama when it comes down to it. The polls are narrowing even though they are oversampling democrats. The Ayers story is working his associations with a bunch of anti-American figures and groups is having an effect.

The funny thing about the Obama candidacy, is that it clearly shows that someone of color, but an honest one with credentials, would have been a shoe-in for the Democrats, if not as President then as Hillary’s VP, with a solid chance of becoming POTUS at some point in the future. There is a reason VERITAS, the Latin word for truth, is etched into so many public buildings across America. Its important. Even when it hurts, it pays. Obama is so far from that model he will never gain the confidence of thinking Americans who place country first.

Just one week ago Obama was saying this crisis is as bad as the depression and no one said a word about his scare tactics. Mccain can’t say anyting without the media spinning it to favor BO. Why waste the money for elections anymore?? We can just have the smart people in the media select our presidents. Why waste tax money when the elcetion was decided a long time ago?

We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in voting booth,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender,

Judging by the extremely high number of Obamabots here today, they are obviously worried about this ACORN story and trying to do damage control on the Internet.

Comment by Dr. Kate | 2008-10-10 16:52:21

Exactly–they are in a bind. talk about ACORN and forget about Ayers. Talk about Ayers and forget about ACORN. Can’t handle two scandals at once.

Trouble is, the rest of us can multi-task. We must continue to put the pressure on so people know who “THAT ONE” is.

I attended a caucus for Hillary Clinton in my state. Obama’s caucus was elsewhere but his supporters were in line to vote for what was meant to be Hillary delegates to the convention. Democracy and the right to vote is sacred to most Americans with the exception of ACORN, Obama, his supporters and the current Democratic leadership. I am beginning to think they they dislike democratic principles and they dislike our great country.

Susan; The attached email was in my box this afternoon. I will not review who mailed to me because they did not give me permission to reveal their identity. But, if everybody on this blog listen to the email’s concern, it is scary and right to the point.

Forget for a minute who you support for president. Please read these bits of research that were sent to me and ( feel free to check out the references noted ). This does not say to, or not to support
anyone. These are simply facts that warant some serious thought, unless you are too close minded to consider that there might be something we (the people), are not being told about what the true
agenda is here. Remember…there are people out there who plan long years and decades in advance before setting things into motion.

All I ask here is that you read this with an open mind and check it out.

To All My Friends, this is long, but very important, please take the time to read it.

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. About a year ago I would have voted for Obama. I have changed my mind three times since than. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband
crazy. But, I feel if you view MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. About six months ago, I started thinking “where did the money come from for Obama”. I have
four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans.

I started looking into Obama’s life.

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a
brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies.

“Barry” (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in
college, he made a “round the world” trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate’s family, then
off to Africa to visit his father’s family. My question -

Where did he get the money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they where in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia
University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack – not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It’s not cheap! to say the least. Where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia, he went to
Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.

By “chance” he met Antoin “Tony” Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named “Entrepreneur of the Decade” by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association”. About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School?
Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job,
which he turned down. But, he did take a job with
Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented “Rezar” which Rezko’s firm. Rezko was one of Obama’s first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003,
Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with “seed money” for his U.S. Senate race. In 2005, Obama purchased a
new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans – Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day Rezko’s wife,
Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama’s new home was
purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama’s boss. She is now Obama’s chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was
Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I going crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was “sacked” after the press found out he was having regular contacts with “Hamas”, which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This
past week, buried in the back part of the papers,Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama’s visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to
do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will “Take care of things”.

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that where born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those “small” Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where is that money coming from?
The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on “This Week” with George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said,”My Muslim
faith”. When questioned, “he made a mistake”. Some mistake!

All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it – Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie
Jarrett: Daily Times – Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times – September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question – If I found out all this information on my own, Why haven’t all of our “intelligent” members of the press been
reporting this?

A phrase that keeps ringing in my ear – “Beware of the enemy from
within”!!!

BREAKING NEWS:

acorn being in investigated in Alleghany county for registration fraud. Charges pending.
If obama has this wrapped up why is he paying acorn nearly a million dollars to destabalize our right to vote?
Why are they registering millions that do not exist.
With all of the phony registration and the heat coming down on them, it will be very hard for them to steal this election.
Brunner in Ohio just got banged by the courts for breaking the law.
Also, Party ID has to be questioned now. With all these phony voters the numbers are wrong.
If Obama was so confident he is winning he would not be paying folks to cheat.
Nice candidate sane voter.

On August 8, Larry Johnson wrote this here at No Quarter:

Michelle’s “whitey” tape and the controversy over his birth certificate are the least of his concerns…

…there is the Indonesian problem and his Hawaiian birth certificate.

I confirmed today that several teams/individuals visited Jakarta during the last six months to gather up critical documents regarding Barack. It is amazing what money can buy. The information includes details of how Barack made his way to Pakistan. Oh! Did I mention there have been similar efforts underway in Pakistan. There are several lessons and warnings in the John Edwards affair for Obama. First and foremost, you cannot hide your past.

Did I also mention how small Hawaii is? Republican operatives, with help from their own island backers, have unearthed critical information on Obama and are just biding their time until after the convention to drop it on him. Such as? Having a birth certificate that lists you as Barry Soetoro.

Larry is viewed as a person of integrity, and we’ve come to trust his sources. Could Larry PLEASE provide an update?

Just a thought… Want to get Acorn and all the others out of the voter registration business.

All the government has to do is when a student(usually 18 at the time) receives his/her diploma from High School insert into the package a voter registration form to vote and mail in. There is no hassling to vote for a certain candidate… You alone decide if you want to register. When a guy turns 18, they get a card asking them to register for the Selective Service so why not Voter Registration.

Manu, the actions of the RBC are a key reason for the formation of PUMA and similar Democratic groups that oppose Obama. It has nothing to do with “bitterness” over Hillary losing, or any of the other nasty things Obamabots said. It had everything (almost everything) to do with cheating, with winning unfairly.

This rampant, blatant, fraudulent vote stealing was carried out in front of the world–I and many others watched it in real time on C-SPAN.

It was vote theft, pure and simple, and violated the DNC’s OWN RULES. For me and many other PUMAs, that was the birth of our opposition to Obama. Regardless of what the bitter ‘bots say.

And yet we’re still paying close to 4 dollars for a gallon of gas…Amazing isn’t it. When they were paying 147 to 160 a barrel they were making record profits charging us 4 dollars a gallon, now they’re paying less than 100 and we’re still paying close to 4 dollars a gallon. Wonder what kind of profit they’re making now? And just why are neither one of the candidates addressing this??? There are problems with the Economy, yet we’re still being price gouged by the Oil companies and yet everyone in Washington remains silent. Congress, senate, president, two Presidental candidates….unbelievable!

NEW YORK (AP) – Oil prices plunged in another violent sell-off Friday, briefly tumbling below $78 a barrel as investors grow more pessimistic about the prospects for resolving a mushrooming global economic crisis.
A barrel of oil hasn’t been this cheap in 13 months.

The steep losses came as Wall Street extended its staggering decline for an eighth straight day and headed for its worst weekly drop ever. The Dow Jones industrial average was down more than 500 points in mid-afternoon trading.

“Oil is mirroring the stock market right now. There’s a total lack of confidence. It’s fear driving more fear,” said Phil Flynn, energy analyst at Alaron Trading Corp. in Chicago.

Light, sweet crude for November delivery fell $8.01 to $78.61 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after earlier falling to $77.28, its lowest level since Sept. 11, 2007.

Diane,

Don’t know where you live, but in Central Jersey, off brands of gas are down to 2.97 a gallon cash and the brand names are between 3.02 – 3.09. I asked someone why was there a shortage in the Southeast and they replied it could be that we live close to the refineries… I don’t know if this is true or not… But every few days here the price has gotten lower by a few cents.

I live in CA, and still paying 3.67 a gallon to 4.02. It’s dropped in price, but it’s nowhere dropped in price to reflect almost a 100 dollar drop in a barrel. 2 years ago when it was 119 a barrel we paid 2.34 a gallon. Now it’s over 40 dollars less than that and we’re still paying 3.67. A bag of potatoes here is up to 5 dollar for a 5 pound bag. A gallon of milk it up to 5+ dollars a gallon. Our electric bills have doubled over last years bills.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful we have enough money to stay above water, but for everyone that does, there are 1,000s more that don’t. I worry for them because I see what my son and his wife are going through. My daughter and her husband seem to be doing well for themselves. They haven’t complained, but they own their own business. Although my husband said take a chill pill. He thinks it’s because of the threat we’re going to drill for our own oil, and that it will reflect at the pumps, and everything else soon. Patience is not my best virtue. ;)

They see McCain and they seethe w anger and bitterness over older adults like their Dad. Like Hillary, Palin is a target for issues w their mommies. Some have just grown up in a home similar to Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright who think the best way to get what you want is by being violent, stepping all over someone else’s rights and not adhering to any rules. The very thing they say they are fighting for becomes a lost cause and what have they accomplished? Absolutely nothing except maybe a criminal record and a history of being radically challenged.

This country intended to be run by “a government of the people, by the people and for the people” so nobly codified in the U.S. Constitution is on a downward spin, soon to be irreparable. People ought to look around and see that the country and its system is almost terminally infested with all kinds of termites destroying it from within; beginning with ACORN, Fannie Mae, FreddieMac, greedy banks and insurance companies, oil companies.

Much of our food, cars, home furnishing, come from outside the U.S. The importation is encouraged because it is “good for the consumers because they are cheaper;” The same philosophy has also driven out all the producing companies and employment/income for the American workers. Now, no matter how cheap the products are, people don’t have money to buy. Our manufacturing base that provided good-paying jobs is gone and with it any long-term economic stability. This looks very much like the beginnings of the downfall of the Roman Empire when everything that Rome needed in terms of commodities and services was provided by its far flung tributaries.

The American people are so screwed; they have been sold out by their trusted leaders. And the scam goes on. The final nail is when a man with questionable citizenship is elected president. And we don’t even know all of his bedfellows he is bringing into the whitehouse.

And yet again in Missouri with Acorn saying it’s because they don’t want poor people to vote. Never mind it doesn’t have a thing to do with poor people, it has to do with dead people, multiple registrations, children being registered, pets…

“I don’t even know the entire scope of it because registrations are coming in so heavy,” Davis said. “We have identified about 100 duplicates, and probably 280 addresses that don’t exist, people who have driver’s license numbers that won’t verify or Social Security numbers that won’t verify. Some have no address at all.”

The nonpartisan group works to recruit low-income voters, who tend to lean Democratic. Most polls show Republican presidential candidate John McCain with an edge in bellwether Missouri, but Democrat Barack Obama continues to put up a strong fight.

Jess Ordower, Midwest director of ACORN, said his group hasn’t done any registrations in Kansas City since late August. He said he was told three weeks ago by election officials that there were only about 135 questionable cards — 85 of them duplicates.

“They keep telling different people different things,” he said. “They gave us a list of 130, then told someone else it was 1,000.”

FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton said the agency has been in contact with elections officials about potential voter fraud and plans to investigate.

“It’s a matter we take very seriously,” Patton said. “It is against the law to register someone to vote who does not fall within the parameters to vote, or to put someone on there falsely.”

On Tuesday, authorities in Nevada seized records from ACORN after finding fraudulent registration forms that included the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys.

In April, eight ACORN workers in St. Louis city and county pleaded guilty to federal election fraud for submitting false registration cards for the 2006 election. U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said they submitted cards with false addresses and names, and forged signatures.

Ordower said Wednesday that ACORN registered about 53,500 people in Missouri this year. He believes his group is being targeted because some politicians don’t want that many low-income people having a voice.

“It’s par for the course,” he said. “When you’re doing more registrations than anyone else in the country, some don’t want low-income people being empowered to vote. There are pretty targeted attacks on us, but we’re proud to be out there doing the patriotic thing getting people registered to vote.”

Nine of them were fired because they said that they found no crimes worth prosecuting.

Some people are really uninformed. ACORN only submits registration forms to the appropriate office for screening. It is the responsibility of the governmental office responsible for voter registrations to screen the applications before allowing anyone to vote. If the voter registration personnel do their jobs correctly there is no way that anyone could vote fraudulently. Registering to vote does not translate to a fraudulent vote on November 4, 2008. This ACORN stuff is just another way to get Americans not to focus on the issues that are most important. Don’t be fooled by this nonsense.
