McCain Supporters Need To Learn To Act Like Obama Supporters

From the hypocritical Race-Baiting, lying, intimidating and divisive Barack Obama campaign:

As Barack Obama has said himself, the last thing we need from either party is the kind of angry, divisive rhetoric that tears us apart at a time of crisis when we desperately need to come together. That is the kind of campaign Sen. Obama will continue to run in the weeks ahead.

Yes, we know all about Senator Obama’s campaign. That’s why we will try harder to behave like they do. Here’s our first practice example:

From my blog, Uppity Woman.

====================================
Truthteller here:

And how would the media react if McCain supporters conducted themselves with the wanton abandon of Obamabots? I quote the Philadelphia Inquirer:

Outside the Bellevue, Palin, sitting in her car, gave a little back and forth wave to the protesters, who in return gave her thumbs down and rounds of boos.

“Back to Alaska, They shouldn’t have Asked ya!” read one poster on the median.

Police said about 400 protesters lined the streets outside the hotel, the same number that organizers expected at the fundraiser, chanting to each other and to passing motorists. Inside, Palin got her hair and makeup done at Pierre and Carlo salon.

At times, Republicans attending the event and protesters confronted one another.

“They are hooligans,” said Bucks County restauranteur and McCain supporter Andrew Abruzzese, after he flashed a peace sign at protesters, who responded with raised middle fingers. Another Republican complained of being jostled.

Of Palin’s rise from PTA activist to City Council to mayor to governor to vice presidential candidate, “You couldn’t get a more natural progression than that.”

Several Republicans attendees complained of the protesters’ vulgarity, especially in light of recent criticism of the behavior of people at McCain-Palin rallies.

Outside Broad Street, waiting for Palin to leave, one man was heard saying, “Let’s stone her, old school.”

Another protester shouted at someone entering the hotel, “Wait till your daughter wants an abortion, you hypocrite.”

And view these photographs of the protest Obamabots staged outside the Park Hyatt in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Will this unify everyone in this time of crisis? Will this unrestrained misogyny create relations of unity with women?

Heaven help us!

Take a good look at the freak show.

If that’s what is on his side, I am sooooo glad I am on the McCain/Palin side, lest anyone think I look like one of those losers.

Wouldn’t you love to be their parents?

Even worse, wouldn’t it suck to be their kid? Just imagine mom and dad flipping through the photo album showing little “Barack”, and his sister “Hope” pictures of their wonderful parents protesting a woman while wearing such lovely matching shirts. Let us all hope this is the result of serious drugs.

Comment by Carol | 2008-10-12 23:37:18

These are the type of people who protest and march against everything; have no idea what they are really protesting and are the wannabe anarchists, they just forgot their masks. These cretins are also the product of the Ayers school of thought.

Comment by Morgan | 2008-10-12 23:59:36

I am not the most violent person, but looking at those little punks, they SO deserve a solid beat-down. If it was the N word everyone would agree. And it is simply not any better to call someone the C word, it is just as dehumanizing and just as sexist as N is racist.

I doubt we’ll see any more coverage of this anywhere else though.

Comment by Liz B | 2008-10-13 00:18:39

Maybe we can all wear t-shirts that say: Biden is a Dick
which would open the opportunity for the ones that say Obama hearts…
I think you know where that was going, please Lord forgive me…

At Sarah’s rally here in Jax there were about a dozen protesters, they were dirty grimy misfits.
Notice the vacant look on their eyes?

Wonder how the MSM would react if there was a T shirt saying Michelle is a C_ _ _ ? That wearer would be torn apart by the Obodemons.

That person who advocated stoning Sarah should have been arrested.

Comment by Ken in IL | 2008-10-13 11:50:37

That would not be racist !!!

Comment by cpabooks | 2008-10-13 08:42:07

“Freak show” is a good call. The obvious thought that I have is what if this were reversed?
Part of me wants this to go to the MSM and the other part is so repulsed that I wouldn’t want to give them any recognition. This is a very sad, too, as the liberal women’s movement is not supporting her.

WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName This reminds me of the kind of people who were anti-Nixon in 1972 when the Dems ran George McGovern. Well McGovern won one state and Nixon carried the other 49. I have been a Dem all my life but never a Liberal. They are the worst. If you want to destroy a country vote Liberal.

Comment by Patricia | 2008-10-13 01:06:35

I cannot believe what Sarah is having to go through for us!

I thought it was bad enough that she was up against arrogant liberals, rude protestors, organized crime team-obama people, and Washington Democrats, but now I wonder if Satan hasn’t sent his little demons out to instigate horrid little deeds such as these! I am stunned!

If i wanted to act like an obama supporter i woulndt have left the Democratic party after the primaries.

Intolerant twits have all lost their minds.

Like it or not, McCain may have to enact governement sponsored National Health Care, because these morons are going to need a hell of a lot of therapy when Obama loses on November 4.

I’m going to go build a woodshed out back.

Any Obamacrat with a Sarah Palin T-Shirt or one of those vile sexist Hillary T-Shirts they wore during the primaries, who needs a good therapy session feel free to drop by.

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-12 22:29:56

If these kinds of t-shirts and signs, etc. were saying things about Obama, he would have his goons on them as soon as you could blink your eye.

If Obama is elected, say good-bye to the First Amendment.

Just ask the folks from the Show Me State (Missouri).

Comment by mcpalin hill | 2008-10-13 00:03:45

Id recommend stuffing them with some of your fine pop corn to fatten them up but why waste good pop corn on a bunch of kids with no apparent taste in anything, when we can eat it ourselves. :)

I participated in protests as a college student during the Reagan years. There is no way my college friends or I would have ever participated in anything even remotely similar to what is in those photos. Is this where progressive politics has taken us? If so, no wonder Senator McCain looks good to me.

Comment by Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion | 2008-10-12 22:39:31

Agreed. I used to think of myself as liberal who voted Democrat. I’ve become moderate who in at least this election is voting GOP. If this gets any worse I will turn into a conservative.

Seriously my ideology whatever it is does not tolerate racism, which is the main reason I am against Obama the racist.

Comment by barry bums a ciggie | 2008-10-12 23:48:24

Me too. The primary and now the election has really opened up my eyes to the “peace” loving liberals. My so-called intelligent friends are now supporters of hate, race baiting, and cheats. As a woman, seeing that f*cker wear that Sarah is a c*** tshirt burns me. No way will I ever reward that kind of behavior!

Comment by Agust304 | 2008-10-12 22:34:59

I found a link the other day, that someone had posted somewhere, that was interesting.

It was a listing of winners of a photo contest in Hawaii in 1962. The title of the winning photo was Barak Obama from Africa - age 6 months.

The index listing was on the university computer and the page told people that they could come in and ask to see the photo by referencing the index number that was listed on that page.

I can go and try to recover the link from the millions of happy sites I have visited this weekend. But if anyone knows what I am talking about and saved the link, it sure would be helpful.

Comment by beverly leslie | 2008-10-12 23:13:18

The one in the pink shirt has a point. The rest are pretty mangy — a mangy bunch of disaffected losers. I know these types. Don’t sit down on a sofa with them, they carry lice.

George Bush may give them a short stay in the sun. But if Obama wins, he’ll let Al Queada in and he’ll blunder into a depression. The round-up is coming. Always remember this. We were right about Bush. We’re right about Obama. He won’t last.

Comment by Truthteller | 2008-10-12 22:41:12

Mr. Pink Shirt does not know how to spell. Did you read his sign? “Abstinenece?” No wonder why he supports Obama: he cannot spell. Indeed, he is a low information voter.

That is sickening. “Enlightened” elites? I have been appalled by “liberals’” response to this election. As a lifelong liberal and voting Democrat, it has been very eye-opening to be a witness this time around. Primitive behavior from all sides. United and healer–right.

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-12 22:44:48

Monet, I was 10 years old when JFK was assassinated.

I was raised in a Christian Republican home and when he was elected I never heard one unkind word from my parents or their friends — nothing but respect for him. When he was shot and died, we were all very sad. I sat by my radio after school that day and prayed that he would live.

He was the president of the entire U.S.A. and we all honored him. We all wanted him to live.

Those were good old days - when America was united, despite our differences. There was real respect for those in leadership.

All of that changed after the late 60s.

I long for those days.

Comment by mcpalin hill | 2008-10-13 00:27:54

bethtopaz — something odd is happening right now. Republicans and Democrats are united against Obama. I have voted Dem for 44 years and the other day I walked into the Republican Headquarters of the McCain/Palin campaign and asked if I could volunteer. The more they try to divide this country — the more people like you and I will stand together as Americans. Obama made the decision to marginalize himself and that will cost him the election. The silent majority will vote on November 4th — and Obama will LOSE.

Comment by dnteatylwsno | 2008-10-13 05:00:28

Beth I believe this is true. But as an ex-liberal myself I saw this coming for a long, long time. But after the primaries I went into full conservative mode.

United we stand, divided we fall.

I am so glad that you posted this. I am in Phila, and read this article this morning. It really upset me because this came right after the incident where 1)McCain corrected a woman who made negative remarks (I did not catch whether they were really rude, or merely uninformed.) and 2) The Obama campaign made such a big deal about that ONE incident!! And there is incredible rudeness coming from the Obama supporters ALL THE TIME and he NEVER denounces it!!!!!

Obama’s supporters are one of now many factors that have really turned me off to him. I think he actually encourages it in a passive aggressive way.

Comment by Brendy | 2008-10-13 02:48:47

Fran - OF COURSE Obama passively encourages this type of behavior (even though I’m sure he’d deny ever hearing of such things from his supporters) - otherwise he would SPEAK OUT and CONDEMN this type of just ‘just down right mean’ (borrowing some of MEchelle’s words) talk like McCain did.

Comment by lark | 2008-10-12 22:49:49

I have a couple of questions and it is not that I always like to bring up Hillary in every situation. Right.

Did Hillary addressed this topic in today’s rally in order to bring about a higher sense of order between two or even three and since Palin is a woman between four of her finest friends?

Should she have if she didn’t?

Should she still if given the opportunity address a few of the most egregious situations as they are developing out of control, by the tone of the campaign leaders?

I mean, what kind of leader is she? Is she a party or nothing or a country is more important than gain?

Just asking?

lark — you make a really good point. The people wearing the Palin is a c… t-shirts attended the rally where Hillary campaigned for Obama. She said nothing. I worked on her campaign and I am very disappointed in her for not calling these people out.

Comment by McAnnie Carmel Baracuda | 2008-10-13 03:57:23

Lark, they would turn on Hillary in a split second if she ever made a mention of civility toward Sarah or Mac. They are rah-rah for the Clintons because they want their support in trying to turn her voters back to the party. They don’t seem to understand that the train has left the station.

Frankly, it made me sick today when I saw Barry touting Bill’s economic successes and both of the Clintons on the dais with him. To think these were the same jackals who were booing them and calling them racists a few months ago. It’s more that despicable.

These people are trying a redo of the hippies of the 60’s; same unwashed, scuffy, intolerant, ignorant simpletons. I was living in the counter culture back then too but we did bathe. We did seek spiritual enlightenment; we did believe that we should mirror the peace we were preaching to the world. We socialized with our local military as well. We might have thought that they were misled by LBJ but we never hated them because of it.

Anybody who is upset.

The Gallup polls (which is oversampling democrats) have shown that the gap between McCain and Obama have tightened to 7 points form 11.

As gas prices fall all over the country people will start feeling better about the state of the economy because they get to keep more of their money. Gas should be below $3 across the country by the end of this week and with it McCain will solidify his lead. In many parts of Ohio it is already 2.70 a gallon. PA is not far behind. So don’t be too upset. The market will start recovering over the next week or so. Plus if McCain’s plan for the economy is even halfway good it will just confirm that BOBO is out of his element.

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-12 22:58:14

Thanks for the encouragement, John Smith.

Regular gas here in Northern California is 3.379/gallon.

Find out what gas costs near you at:

A barrel of oil is now at $80.62.

Anybody who is upset.

I think most of the upset we are seeing is from posers (inevitability trolls) trying to keep troop morale down. We know the polls are way off and we also know 24 days is an eternity in politics.

Troop morale is excellent. We will help Mac to a glorious victory!

The Gallup poll shows a pickup for McCain. Going from double digits down to a 7 point O lead. That tightening is encouraging. I hope that it reflects a response to McCain’s economic initiatives as much as it reflects Ayres, Acorn and Rezko.

Obama reminds me, among other megalomaniacal leaders, of Hitler. He and his criminal friends took power and were ruthless in their treatment of the Jewish population.

http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/Jews_Nazi_Germany.htm

Obama hates America. I think that’s clear from his associations and his behavior. He is just holding it in. People who understand speech patterns say that all of his uhs and ahs are because he is trying to restrain what he really believes and thinks.

His mother said, “They (Americans) are not my people.” She was one of the most influential people in his life.

There’s no doubt in my mind that if he were to be elected, he and his thug friends would do all they could to destroy our country, the Constitution, the rule of law and all we hold dear.

He, Pelosi and Reid would also do everything they could to silence freedom of speech, especially through talk radio and the Internet.

Nationalizing banks plus Shariah laws can apply (I guess in certain cases pertaining to Muslims). What a combination or odd couple.

I don’t know anything about Shariah laws, but I can imagine it does not look favorably on certain forms of banking practices including interest rates levels. Well, a) for Muslims working in banks and as bank managers, they could get penalized by them; b) state employees may fall by virtue of representation under the Shariah law influence.

I think things do not look very bright in Britain. Today foggy at best. The rest of the year foggy. The rest of the century, foggy, rainy and cold.

USA mulls plan to take ownership stakes in banks…

WASHINGTON (AP) - Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson told international leaders on Sunday that isolationism and protectionism could worsen the spreading financial crisis. With a new trading week dawning, U.S. lawmakers urged quick action by the Bush administration on measures to make direct purchases of bank stock to help unlock lending.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, said an administration proposal to inject federal money directly into certain banks, in effect partially nationalizing the banking system, “is gaining steam.”

“I am hopeful that tomorrow, the Treasury will announce that they’re doing it. And they have to do it quickly … markets are waiting,” Schumer said.

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081012/D93P5CD80.html

Note:
Paulson is from the Chicago area. He has made 70 trips to China and has a “past” connection with Goldman Sachs.

http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story.html?id=fb3e57db-1313-461e-8dab-f2005e4879c3

The fox has been in the financial henhouse all along
Henry Paulson is one of the guys who got us into this mess, now he’s in charge of the bailout

Even the Huff had an article about this

Keith Richards, Cockroaches, and the Firm of Goldman Sachs
Goldman to Raise Capital, With $5 Billion From Buffett
And in the accompanying story written by Ben White, we can read the following:

The billionaire Warren E. Buffett will invest $5 billion in the investment bank Goldman Sachs, as part of the bank’s efforts to raise $7.5 billion in fresh capital, a Goldman spokesman, Lucas Van Praag, said Tuesday. In return, Berkshire Hathaway, the conglomerate run by Mr. Buffett, will receive perpetual preferred shares in Goldman, Mr. Praag said. The preferred stock will pay a 10 percent dividend.

REMEMBER THIS: OBAMA SAID HE WOULD CONSIDER WARREN BUFFET FOR HIS CABINET. THE HENHOUSE ONE.

Right now the mattress is looking safer than the banks. My hubby had lunch with a long time banker friend who told him that the small local banks (in our area) are safest. Go talk to a small town banker if you know one that you can trust. Find out from her/him their take on the safety of your money. Junk silver is a good option, gold has gotten too high.

My first address in Philly as an art student was at Broad and Pine Streets. I walked up Broad, the street shown in these photos, in 1984 to vote in my first presidential election at the City Hall annex. Of course I voted for Mondale/Ferraro. We couldn’t relate to Reagan at all. We viewed him as a “warmonger”, with only the “rich” benefitting from his leadership. But even after the Lebanon-Marine tragedy, we never shamed ourselves like this. These assholes are “inspired” by the 1960’s-radical-protest-BS, but WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PASSION. We also had no Obama-type on the scene to encourage this conduct. Wait until the families that support these useless skanks start paying taxes, losing jobs, etc. under an Obama presidency.

I think RNC need to buy their own 30 minutes of time. The need to call it something like, “Welcome to the new USA”. Then show this video in its entirety, along with still photo’s of the Obama supports.

They need to say something at the beginning like “Since the MSM refuses to show Americans the truth, we will. We are really at a loss of words, so we’ll leave it to you, the viewer. Is this the type of country you want to live and raise your children in? Where free speech is not tolerated? Where free speech is met with threats, violence, obscenities, fire bombs and Secret Service visits (referenced to the woman in Texas that got a visit because an obama telephone caller didn’t like her attitude)? If you aren’t willing to judge Obama by his friends, mentors and business partners, maybe you should judge him by his supporters.”

And then show 30 minutes of this crap.

Maybe in those fixed Chicago elections insulting people repeatedly is fine, but in the real world it’s not.

While I understand the desire to vote for history, aren’t you at least a little bit concerned about the same media that sold people Bush and the Iraq war….is now selling you Obama? If not you should be.

Candymarl pointing out his track record with poor folks. He exploits their needs for his request for funds and then he is done with them. Rezko and Obama profitted from them freezing in Chicago winters, with no heat or hot water, no garbage service, rats everywhere, broken windows and damaged plumbing system, etc.

And you ask if his color is the probelm….sigh.

I have a couple of advanced degrees.

I’ve lived in Big Cities (not just big cities, BIG Cities).

I am also a social liberal, an economic moderate, and I favor a healthy–not insane, but healthy–national defense posture.

I believe in Equal Rights for all. I don’t think Gay Marriage will end the world, I think gay people should be allowed to be as miserable as straight people, and pay the same absurd taxes for the privilege of being joined at the hip.

In fact, I think domestic partnership arrangements should be extended to permit someone who is single, without a spouse, to name a sister or a brother or a mother or a father or simply a good friend to receive the benefits that are normally accorded to a spouse by an employer or the government.

Why can’t a single man leave his government pension to his mom or his sister, or even his maiden aunt? Why can’t he put Uncle Fred on his health insurance as his “significant other?” Why must SEX –or the assumption, or possibility (in polite society) of sex–be the ONLY governing requirement to solemnify a relationship?

But I digress.

My point is that I’m not a fundy who screams “DARK SIDED!!!” at the “bad” liberals. Because real liberals aren’t “bad.” Real liberals ARE liberal, and … TOLERANT. And open-minded.

These people in that video are NOT that, at all.

I’ve always voted for “The Democratic Candidates” even if I had to hold my nose a bit, because I always believed that, overall, they had my interests at the forefront, and that they were, well, a bit more “genteel” than the other team.

The people in this video are not genteel…..they’re assholes.

I find them OFFENSIVE.

I don’t want to be associated with them.

They’re…CRUEL. Unkind. Smug. Rude. Crude. Unattractive.

The OPPOSITE of “progressive.”

I am feeling more and more at peace with being an unaffiliated voter as the days go by.

Who ARE these people? They’re just dumb and mean.

Comment by Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion | 2008-10-12 23:24:00

I’m with you and agree with most of your positions. Unfortunately those people, Obama, the DNC and his supporters have set back progressiveness and liberalism for a generation. The right wing will have ample ammunition to help rebuild their own house of cards. ;)

Comment by Bellevue_NW_Voter The Renter | 2008-10-13 00:01:37

No one’s mentioned yet that New Yorkers tend to be more “expressive” than average Americans. They are. I lived in that area for 15 years, and grew up speaking my mind to an extent that occasionally makes colleagues around here uncomfortable. It’s kinda like Flyers fans booing Palin. That’s just custom at hockey games, not a reflection on Palin. It’s part of their culture. We’re the United States and different areas of the country DO have different norms; “betcha” Palin, being the Alaskan she is, is quite fine with that. So while the kind of conduct shown on that video is distasteful to me, as someone who grew up in the Northeast, it’s also par for the course.

That said, LOL, what a menagerie of liberals they managed to come up with in that video! We in Seattle could only do better on a good day. Used to be, one could be a liberal while still being polite. And used to be, tolerance was a virtue of liberals and we looked down on the conservatives who didn’t have it.

I wouldn’t invite many of the people in that video home for dinner. Have I turned into my parents? I’m pretty sure they had the same opinion in the late 60’s of the hippie crowd. (Rude t-shirts, check. Stringy hair, check. Rude gestures and comments, check. Etc.) Then again, in the 60’s, one could be liberal and not be a radical; non-radical liberals weren’t told by the majority of their party to take a hike.

And in regard to the following aside:

In fact, I think domestic partnership arrangements should be extended to permit someone who is single, without a spouse, to name a sister or a brother or a mother or a father or simply a good friend to receive the benefits that are normally accorded to a spouse by an employer or the government.

Why can’t a single man leave his government pension to his mom or his sister, or even his maiden aunt? Why can’t he put Uncle Fred on his health insurance as his “significant other?” Why must SEX –or the assumption, or possibility (in polite society) of sex–be the ONLY governing requirement to solemnify a relationship?

I wish the idea of marriage, and the legal rights accorded to those who engage in it, could be split into those two separate concepts. I have a single friend who’s helped me over the years in ways that have enabled me to earn an income. If I don’t ever find the right person to marry, I’d like to leave him a few of my benefits that currently pass only to a spouse.

Comment by C.S. | 2008-10-13 08:28:35

Who ARE these people? They’re just dumb and mean.

And no matter who wins (or steals) this election they will still be out there either with the power of Soertoro/Obama backing them up or, like Ayers’ Weathermen, just below the radar and waiting for their chance. If they do this without power what will they do with the power of the presidency behind them? Members of cults don’t just go away, they have to be de-programed. Look at the empire the Moonies have built for their messiah.

Soertoro/Obama has shown no indication that he wishes to save our democracy or that he considers himself a servant of We the People and by participating in his cousin Odinga’s plan to take over Kenya’s government he has shown that his ideology is more like his cousin Odinga’s than what America represents. And his campaign is proof that he believes “The ends justify the means.” How did he ever get this far without those who serve and protect stopping him?

ARE YOU DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICAN OR REDNECK?

Here is a little test that will help you decide

You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife, and charges at you.
You are carrying a Glock cal 40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.
What do you do?

What does my wife think? What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
Could we run away?
What does my wife think?
What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about this situation?
Does the Glock have an appropriate safety built into it?
Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he’d be happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
Should I call 9-1-1?
Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day, and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for few days and try to come to a consensus.

I think Soros and friends have a lot to do with the financial market crashes. The market is always doing well until the last hour of trading and then there is a crash. I think that Soros and Co. have set up their portfolios in such a way as to trigger crashes at specific times.

Comment by McAnnie Carmel Baracuda | 2008-10-13 04:21:15

Huckabee mentioned tonight when he was talking to Chuck Norris that he and some of his friends in financial markets believe that we have been hit by “eonomic terrorism” and that the markets have been manipulated. Of course and Acorn was part of the plan too.

Dark Knight, our spidey senses have something in common. And the stock market won’t crash because of the bargain stock prices. We will see the market stabilize again soon, imo. This, along with gas prices dropping significantly = tide turning.

I find the “regular” people on the Upper West Side scarier than the young tattooed ‘Bots in PA. The fact that a few Repubs can’t walk down the street in Manhattan holding a McCain sign without getting the finger a thousand times is disgusting.

Couple this with feminists ridiculing Palin as a bimbo and buffoon and that I used to believe ACORN helped poor people and I’m embarrassed I’ve been a Democrat my entire life.

Will the msm show this video or any of the pics? Or will it just ruin their weekend meme of Republicans = violent jerks; Democrats = fuzzy bunnies?

Comment by Patricia | 2008-10-13 01:54:08

Clintons are suing Obama siting RICO (organized crime) violations in regards to stealing the election at the DNC. They are saying ACORN was a major component. That makes sense to me that ACORN would have been using the poor people as a front to get the loan money and then taking it…you can see how none of it went into Obama’s neighborhood…all of the locals complained that nothing changed! It was just a way to steal money…tons of it and have a bunch of loans go bad on names that didn’t care about thier credit history because they had no jobs. It was a Chicago Mob deal. The Unions, the Mob, the Dem Party, Pelosi, the Lobbyists, the drug business…it all makes me sick.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-13 00:08:43

I see that GM is thinking of merging with Chrysler. Interesting. I think it is stupid, like to poor people marrying each other. You should be looking to move up, not encumber yourself with extra debt. STUPID!!! An this is after we gave them $25 bil.

Comment by Bellevue_NW_Voter The Renter | 2008-10-13 00:16:01

It’s not always stupid for two poor people to marry each other. Suppose one is jobless or makes $8000/year before taxes at a part time minimum wage job. They marry, and suddenly between the two of them, are paying less taxes thanks in part to the fact that the one with the better income can claim “head of household”. Similarly, if the one with the better income can put the one with the lesser income as a beneficiary on their pension or whatever, eventually the poorer one will be better off than they were by themselves. Etc.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-13 00:40:56

It was a metaphor. It is a death sentence when two poor companies try to merge.

First:

Slashes in employees. Work force will be severely cut, sending thousands into the welfare lines.

Second:

Slashes in production.

Third:

Slashes in production means slashes in revenue. The reduction of employees will most likely not compensate for the cost of the merger.

Fourth:

Domestic competition dries up. The American automotive industry would now consist of only two companies. Compare this to Japan, with Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, and more. Compare this to the Germany, with BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen.

Fifth:

The top-heavy company will find it difficult to operate swiftly to adapt to the changes in the economy. It will be too busy trimming the corporate offices.

Sixth:

A collapse of the company would essentially mean the demise of the American automotive industry.

Comment by Karma | 2008-10-13 13:34:11

My husband read that 700 car dealerships are closing.

If GM and Chrysler merge then a wider variety of cars will be available on one lot.

GM is going to offer the Volt soon, while Chrysler just announced their own version of an electric car using the same battery supplier.

If they pool their money they might get a discount on the per unit cost of the batteries.

Chrysler has a displacement system that turns off half of it’s cylinders when there isn’t a load. GM just came out with a similiar system in 2005 except on demand.

Both companies are trying to turn the ship towards fuel efficient vehicles and electric.

Sharing technology benefits both companies, while adding to their product line.

Chrysler just ended it’s relationship with Mercedes so the 300 and the discontinued Magnum both have the same transmission as their AMGs. Detuned because Mercedes didn’t want American cars keeping pace with theirs. They are still fun to drive and probably wouldn’t exist without the merger.

Both companies are releasing their blast from the past. The Challenger and the Camero. I doubt they will mix the parts on these anytime soon if ever, but they are guaranteed huge mark-ups on both new releases. Which is always good.

In my opinion, they are placing themselves on a footing for the future.

Yeah it could belly up but if that happens then there are worse things to worry about. The loss of jobs that are also tied to the automotive industry would be the major concern. In some places 1 in 5 jobs are tied to auto industry. So I doubt the govt would let them fail.

~~

A two ton car going 0-60 in 4.1 sec…the detuned transmission car 0-60 in 5.1 sec.

And one last point.

The Charger police tests have stole the show from GM and Ford with no end in sight.

Those funds help their bottom line without redesigning their offering.

Regarding the Faithful Obama Supporters: They look like Trick or Treater’s at a Methadone Clinic.

Comment by Songs for the Besieged McCain/Palin Supporter | 2008-10-13 00:34:50

That crowd jeering at the McCain/Palin supporters gave a warmer welcome to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when he came to NY. Those guys with lipstick, the nasty t-shirts calling Palin a c*nt, and the poster attacking Bristol Palin….I feel like crying almost. It is like being raped and being told you asked for it.

Where is the outrage from the MSM? Where are the commentaries about the senseless intolerance, anger, and hate displayed by Obama supporters? How longer are people going to keep silent in the face of this vile sexism and still call themselves humans?

Yesterday someone mentioned how there is no sign of support for McCain on college campuses. I disagree. Support for McCain is under the radar, and this is the reason why. McCain supporters want to avoid this type of ugliness. These days, college campuses are some of the least tolerant places. It is like everyone drank the “Change” koolaid and jumped down the rabbit hole, and now this type of nasty behavior is the norm.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQQpWmKoB4g

The sad thing is that the girl in that nasty t-shirt probably thinks of herself as a feminist. She probably even took a woman’s studies class or two.

When I watch some of the women reporters, like Campbell Brown, tear into Palin, I think a lot of it has to do with jealousy.

Everyone - PLEASE! My fingers are getting raw from sending emails to Fox News. Please help me out - go to http://www.foxnews.com and other news channels and send them this video or link -

http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/10/12/mccain-supporters-need-to-learn-to-act-like-obama-supporters/#comments

I’ve sent Hannity and Greta emails many times before detailing the comments/videos I’ve seen and lo and behold - they show them on air. I’d like to think that one of MY emails got thru to them in addition to MANY others in getting this type of crap sent out.

What REALLY makes me mad about this video is that there are CHILDREN in this scene and these trashy-as#es use their middle fingers (it’s especially maddening that women are doing it, esp. when kids are present). Our country and our morals have gone down the tubes!

People talk about Glenn Beck being a good newscaster - would someone please email him this link. I don’t know what channel he’s on or what time his show comes on.

Comment by no vote for Oblabla | 2008-10-13 00:46:33

I just googled Glenn Beck (never have heard of him) and he’s got a website here:
http://www.glennbeck.com/
and plenty of his contact information here:

From looking through his website it seems he’s a radio talk host from New York and is very pro-McCain/Palin :-)

Comment by Idiocracy08 | 2008-10-13 01:03:40

Glenn Beck is on CNN Headline before Nancy Grace. He’s ok, I just don’t really like watching him. I’ve been watching him more (like I have Fox) since this whole farce began with Hillary though.

Comment by Patricia | 2008-10-13 01:57:31

Glenn Beck has a television show on CNN in the evenings and is GREAT! I think it is on at the same time O’Reilly or Hannity, but since his is not repeated later, I watch his first and the Fox one later.

What’s sickening is that these creepy kids, people who have never done anything in their g/d lives, who haven’t even paid measurable amounts of taxes, actually believe that they deserve the right to control the futures of people like us, older people, who have spent our lives pouring money down the rathole that is our federal treasury.

Comment by CA4McCain | 2008-10-13 01:04:08

These BO supporters are vulgar. They look like the ones you find as “tree sitters,” anarchists, relatives of the Unabomber…… If they are representative of a “new kind of politics,” what exactly is that?

If I were McCain, I’d run an ad in the battleground states with these images and video showing what types of people support BO. I think a good many voters would change their minds saying they don’t want to be associated with that type of person (and therefore candidate BO).

Comment by McAnnie Carmel Baracuda | 2008-10-13 04:35:21

Yep. The Berkeley tree sitters who threw fecal matter at the police when they were being removed from their perch.

And to think I was a peaceful demonstrator for People’s Park in 1967…or was it ‘68? I didn’t even wear Pachouli oil. The most I ever witnessed back then was some people being provocative during peace marches by smoking joints in front of the SFPD lining the side of the streets. No riots, no middle fingers…more like the Republican marchers carrying signs.

Comment by Susan1968 | 2008-10-13 01:05:04

But this is what gets me about Obama people.

Back during the primary on HuffPo — they were against Hillary more than they were for Obama.

And now we have the general election — and instead of showing up with Obama signs, they show up signs demeaning Palin.

I don’t get it. Why not carry Obama signs.

To be honest — I bet this display will push undecideds to McCain.

When you see these dweebs show up and act like this my first thought is “Get a job!”

Comment by McAnnie Carmel Baracuda | 2008-10-13 04:27:47

No one would hire anyone so vulgar and uncouth.

Comment by Touchet | 2008-10-13 01:12:38

This is a prime example of why people like Obama. When you hear Obama speak think about these people you see in this video. Think about the anger in their voice, the total desperation. That is the energy that obama is attracting to himself. He feeds off of it. He calls it hope. Is this hope? This is pure malice and hate. They hate their lives and need someone to blame. Obama give them something to blame—our government. Get it now. Its not about issues, its not about anything other than these people hate George Bush and think him and republican are to blame for their shitty lives. They have never taken responsibility and never will.

Comment by Patricia | 2008-10-13 01:13:48

And to think Obama had to create the Truth Squad in Missouri to protect himself from us (because we actually read and research truth) and our candidates are subjected to this crap and have nothing to protect them and he has not even sent out rules of engagement to them? It is horribly unfair! He is being protected from actual truth coming out and ours are being attacked with lies!

Comment by Touchet | 2008-10-13 01:30:44

Because they are just anti-republican. Obama has people believing that if you are a republican you are part of the problem.

The next step is going to be depression. If Obama takes office, all their lives are still gonna be just a shitty as before. They will realize that all their “hope” is gone. This is what Obama will be remembered for. I think it is Ironic that he could be the president in a depression of epic porportions both economically and emotionally as a nation realizes that their savior was a scam.

Comment by Idiocracy08 | 2008-10-13 01:23:20

I would actually like to talk to a bot face to face…eye to eye…and ask them this question:

“Regardless of what party you belong to, we all know what happened when McCain was tortured in Viet Nam & that life story. What do you think Obama would do in the first 30 minutes of being tortured?”

Or even 5 minutes.

Comment by Touchet | 2008-10-13 01:26:50

They would immediately say, “Are you suggesting that obama would be lynched? You are a racist!”.

Comment by Idiocracy08 | 2008-10-13 01:40:15

I think the best Halloween costume would be an Obamatron.

Dress up like a Nazi SS officer, but instead of having a Nazi armband and Nazi insignia, use a blue armband with Obama’s logo on it. Wear a brown military shirt. Wear an officer’s hat, but replace the insignia on the front of it with Obama’s presidential seal. Emblazon “HOPE” on the back of the shirt.

And don’t forget the goose steppers. The boots make the costume.

Comment by Jack | 2008-10-14 13:21:44

Just remember people, these are all Obama supporters.

When Obama says that his campaign has a “big tent,” he is not kidding. Why does Obama attract every psychopath, nihilist, and vile scum out there?

Here is another question I want anyone reading this to ponder…

Why do people with more conservatives view tend to use logic and reason to make their point. I know there are nuts on both sides, but this is my observation.

To contrast, those on the left, especially the ultra liberal “progressives” use insults, vulgarity, lies, deceit, and now, election fraud, to get their point across?

If you care, if you really care are this debasement of our society and the lowering of our cultural (and apparent DNA) standards, I have a very simple solution.

Tell everyone you know, and I mean EVERYONE that they must vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin. Show them these photos, and tell them that a vote for Obama gives sanction to these cretins.

Even if you are an Obama supporter, SEND A MESSAGE THAT RIFRAFF LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE THEIR WAY.

As an added benefit, you can smile to yourself, knowingly that after electing Sarah Palin as our Vice President, the thugs as shown in these photos will be absolutely beside themselves in anger. (The live like that anyway, but you can really rub it in!)

Comment by Steven Stolpman | 2008-10-17 19:20:54

Goes to show that being the version of who you think you are is only based on that you think you are the very good version of you, but it doesn’t make it so. And, vice versa (to be incoherent but thorough about the folly of self-righteousness), i.e. we all need a mirror.
