To Our No Quarter Readers (Open Thread)

Larry Johnson loves hosting this blog, and every one of our writers has enjoyed, so much, getting to know all of you.

Our blog has enjoyed an amazing boost in readership, thanks to all of you.

Along with a major increase in daily reader visits comes the need to add servers so that we can handle the higher levels of traffic. That costs a lot of money that our advertising doesn’t cover. We also pay for programming services, every month, and some months it’s quite expensive. None of us is paid for this effort, by anyone (despite the various false charges made). Considering the hours we put in, we wish we made those big consultant bucks!

We need to ask you to help fund this blog by clicking on the donation button at the top of the right column, just above “Recent Comments.”

With your help, we can keep the blog on the number of servers that are required to keep the blog chugging along. It also helps us, when we get incidents of peak traffic, to add servers on short notice — which is quite expensive, but keeps the blog up so you can access it. (We are already concerned about having to add servers, and pay sysadmin staff, for the last debate and before and on November 4th, Election Day.)

And, just so you know, whatever happens on November 4th will not stop Larry Johnson, me, and to our great gang of writers. We are going to continue to investigate, to question, and to write commentaries. Along with all of you!
