If Barack Obama hasn’t figured out by now how to require pre-approval before his followers can post material — we have featured several extremely objectionable pages at his site since early Spring 2008 — how can we trust him to manage the U.S. government?
It couldn’t be simpler. Hire a few staffers with all that campaign cash, and have them pre-approve people’s Web pages before they are allowed to be displayed. Surely that can’t be complex to set up. Quite frankly, Obama’s Web site operation reminds me of how Acorn operates: It’s full of ideologically-ruled, corrupt people driven to do anything it takes to win. They don’t know that women who wanted a career in the military until the 1970’s had to resign themselves to being nurses. They don’t know that flight attendants were fired if they married. They don’t know that when President Bush attended Yale, women weren’t admitted as students. They don’t realize there was a time when women were considered chattel and couldn’t own property.

Apollo splashdowns began in 1968 when Senator Obama was in Indonesia. The Gemini and early Apollo splashdowns were in the Caribbean, not the Pacific Ocean. The only splashdown in the Pacific that would have been close enough to take a boat out to watch it would have been the last Apollo mission in 1975. That splashdown wouldn’t have been seen from the island of Oahu.
Gemini splashdowns were happening frequently during 1965 and 1966, but as far as I know – all ten of the splashdowns were in the Caribbean. It’s possible that Senator Obama watched a Gemini splashdown on tv with his grandfather. But it would not have been in person, unless somehow he and his Grandfather managed to be on a naval ship in the Caribbean prior to 1968, in 1968 in the Pacific for Apollo 8 (that splashdown was not close enough to Hawaii to reach in day via a boat) or in the Pacific after Senator Obama’s return to Hawaii in 1971.
Senator Obama probably isn’t lying about watching a Gemini splashdown on tv with his grandfather since I think it was 1966 or 67 when he moved to Indonesia. If he said he watched it from the ocean, his memory is very foggy.

I wish people would not bother with the polls or at least put them into context. As I’ve been saying polls were never created to tell us who to vote for or who to campaign for. But that is how they are used. They are used as weapons against full participation. How utterly undemocratic!
And now it appears the polls are being manipulated. And we know they were way way off when Hillary pounced on The Precious in the battleground states.
I don’t know that any of the polls have the “right” slant. However, I do watch the big ones….Gallup, Zolgby, Rasmussen….just for trends. Provided they are keeping their process the same, it gives a hint of which way the wind is blowing, anyway. The media polls are usually way off, and I do think those are being manipulated for Obama.
What’s fascinated me is how they ignored all the exit polls. Even in the Potomac blowout, registered Democrats TOLD exit pollsters that they would likely vote McCain if Hillary wasn’t the candidate. I saw right then that the Democratic party was splitting.
Nobody would discuss is, of course, at the time.
Now, we have the ACORN lie, which obviously means the story about how Dem registrations are way up must be taken with a grain of salt. We’ll see. Not that many dogs actually vote. *haha

I had a similar experience, yes it’s crude. Don’t talk much to that person anymore either. Not that I ever did. Nothing lost.
When Hillary lost, it was her opportunity to become an advocate of those who felt so badly disenfranchised. I understood she needed time to regroup her thought, mourn a little bit and then reconstitute herself. But once that mourning was finished with, she had to take a leadership stand for fairness and integrity and for American values and honest engagement with issues.
I saw Hillary standing behind Biden on c-span last night… She looked terrible and tired and though standing there bobbing her head like a zombie in aggreement, she didn;t have that fire and sparkle and enthusiasm we all know her for. I think the reason that Sen obama’s campaign does not require pre-approval is so that vile information can be posted by ‘others’ and Sen Obama and his campaign-even if they agree with the vile, false info- still have a back door exit so they can claim-
