ACORN To Be Investigated in Cleveland, Ohio
By NoQuarterLive on October 14, 2008 at 4:20 AM in ACORN, Barack Obama, Obama's Thugs, Ohio
This is a promising development:
CLEVELAND — Election officials in swing state Ohio’s most populous county asked a prosecutor today to investigate alleged voter-registration fraud, including 73 registrations obtained from one man by an advocacy group under fire in other states.
The bipartisan Cuyahoga County Board of Elections voted unanimously to ask county Prosecutor Bill Mason to investigate multiple registrations by four people who signed forms at the behest of a community organizing group, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, known as ACORN.
What compelled a bipartisan board to investigate the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now in Cleveland, Ohio?
- One man claims ACORN in Cleveland offered him dollar bills and cigarettes to register to vote
- Another man claims ACORN asked him to sign over 73 registrations over a period of 5 months
- A pizza delivery man claims he was registered 15 times by ACORN
In other words, there is evidence of widespread voter fraud in Cleveland, Ohio, the state’s largest Democratic stronghold. Compounding this voter fraud is another recent development: a Federal Appeals Court sided with Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, who believes votes cast by newly registered voters during the early voting period last week do not need to be verified before they are tabulated. Because there is so much room for fraud in the early voting arrangement Brunner created, ACORN’s activities may result in an Obama victory in Ohio.
Let us hope Prosecutor Bill Mason of Cuyahoga County throws a wrench in ACORN’s elaborate scheme to dilute the power of legitimate votes and thereby illegally shape and determine the outcome of our Presidential election.

Why was the turnout for early voting in Ohio so low??? Nobody seems to have an answer?
oh Obama has rigged it so you don’t even have to show up to vote to have your vote stolen…
er… i mean so you can vote for him…

ACORN has registered Mickey Mouse to vote
I simply CANNOT believe that the Federal Court upheld that these new “early votes” do not have to be verified before tabulation - especially with the Acorn scandle CURRENTLY going on in that state!!!
When did this stop being the United States of America? And if BO gets in - and I’m deathly afraid he is - with a profoundly Democratic House and Senate - and the MAIN STREAM MEDIA censoring information from the American public and engaging in massive propaganda, like they have t/o the primary and election seasons, this country is DOOMED..literally.
Remember the time when Republicans where the party of voter fraud and censorship?
It’s like that Shoe Comic a while back: “Remember when politics was real, and TV was fiction?”
Didn’t you figure this out in the primary. They dishenfranchised two states, and when it still didn’t go there way, they decided to change the votes in the name of “unity”. I mean shit people. How many times does it take for you to realize that the government is shitting on you every year. YOU DON”T COUNT. YOu are nothing but a money making making machine.
And how do you explain that the two states that were disenfranchised by the Democratic Party are now both leaning towards Obama? Seems people don’t care what is do to them so long as they can retain their partisanship.
After all, loyalty to party is more important than loyalty to ethics, integrity or your country. Right?

THEY ARE TRYING TO REMOVE ACCESS TO EVELYN PRINGLE OBAMA + REZKO SERIES
Their decision said it would be “too disruptive” with the election so close. How about voter fraud? Isn’t that a bit “disruptive” to our democracy? What the hell is the matter with these people. There’s Brunner, making unilateral decisions, like Katherine Harris, to manipulate the system, and then a panel upholds it? Disgraceful. Be afraid–be very afraid of the “New Dem Party.”
I don’t know that much about it, but don’t you think most of the fraud is going to be by absentee ballots?
How much easier that would be to commit fraud, I would think, and if they get hundreds of thousands of them, to have to examine and compare them would probably be difficult. Wasn’t it absentee ballots they were supposedly counting in that county in Indiana that was holding out until the end (during the primary)?
I don’t really know the process for verifying absentee ballots–is there a process, and does it vary by state?
I heard that the Ohio lady Brummer was also throwing out absentee ballots (republican votes) that didn’t check a small box in the upper corner.
She is as crooked as they come.
She better not be throwing those absentee ballots out. She wanted to all right. But that is one court challenge Republicans won. She has to count absentee ballots where the box is not checked.
She tried to but the Ohio Supreme Court said she had to count them.
I don’t know how she can be against open and honest elections and call herself an American.
That’s what it sounds like to me. I could register 20 times through ACORN and vote from home, absentee, without being checked by the post-partisan secretary of state. Obama, should he win, will have no legitimacy.
I just found this interesting observation at the newsletter I get from Town Hall — I can’t believe I read something so conservative now — and it comes from reader, not a columnist in response to an article about 0bama and ACORN:
If five million fraudulent home mortgages are in the hands of illegal aliens, according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
What is stopping them from committing Voter fraud, and returning an absentee ballot or saying under the penalty of perjury they are a US citizen. If they have already violated our immigration laws by crossing the border and are taken jobs of the legal population, then stealing American citizen sovereignty.
beebop:
Scapegoating of immigrants is a subject that I’m particularly “touchy” about. While I advocate enforcement of the nation’s immigration laws, I believe that there is a general public misconception concerning the way that those laws are written and enforced, particularly over the last few years. I’d like to see documentation of that 5 million mortgages in the hands of “illegal” aliens. Those sneaking across the border begin accruing unlawful presence upon entry, while more than half of those aliens currently out of status actually entered legally, but their authorized stay has expired or they were denied on an application to extend their authorized stay. Many of those currently lacking lawful nonimmigrant or immigrant status are in the process of legalizing their stay through employment-based or family-based petitions. Unlawful voting (as well as a false claim to U.S. citizenship)is one of the most dangerous and stupid things that a non-U.S. citizen could do, as a finding of wilfullness or intent will render that person permanently ineligible for legal status. Many aliens find themselves registered to vote because they are asked to sign these registration documents when they secure or renew their drivers licenses, as the Secretary of State (or DMV) employees really push this registration on everybody, without any efforts to verify eligibility. When the legal aliens qualify and try to file for naturalization, they often are shocked to find that they have been registered to vote. Very few actually do vote, but even the act of being registered is dangerous for their immigration future, and they must make sure to have their registration revoked before they apply for naturalization. Even then, their naturalization interviews are uncomfortable, and the likelihood of success is questionable. If they have actually voted, they are almost certain to be denied naturalization, and will also likely lose their lawful permanent resident status, and be placed in removal proceedings. If they have ever used a false or “borrowed” social security number, they are also looking at federal criminal prosecution, even if just used for employment purposes. Using a false or “borrowed” social security number for work purposes used to be a minimally enforced or punished offense. That has not been the case for the last few years, where identity theft prosecutions have been the norm. When the Illinois Secretary of State finds that someone has used a false Social Security number in securing a drivers license (all states are able and required to cross-check with the Social Security Administration now) that person can be prosecuted on a state offense as well, and will generally lose their driving privileges for at least six months, even if that person is legally in the U.S. It is virtualy impossible for a nonimmigrant, even if legal, to obtain a valid Social Security Number, unless they are within a classification of nonimmigrants lawfully permitted to work in the U.S. The laws are now being very strictly enforced, even if that had not been the case a few years ago, so I would be very surprised to encounter on-going mortgage fraud of the nature you have described.
Rob:
I was only suggesting that ACORN as an advocate of the subprime lending to people who are not likely to stand up for themselves can have access to these ballots for voting purposes. I should have made that clear. Sorry …. not enough coffee yet this morning… but who knows better about this than this unsavory group?
beebop:
I’m sorry also if I came across as a jerk above. I see the immigration issue as te “third rail” of politics, with so much mis-information out there that it is hard to get anything other than knee-jerk legislation through a constantly posturing Congress. I would like to see Congress stop looking at immigration legislation as either pro-immigrant (”benefit”) or ant-immigrant (”enforcement”), and start looking at immigration from a prospective of what is good for the U.S. and for the economy at any given point in time. The legislation should be very flexible and capable of being “tweaked” at a moment’s notice, if economic or security circumstances change. This is an issue that lends itself to political pandering, and it is too important to be used for those purposes. Immigration can be a positive force for the country and for the economy, if it is managed smartly for the benefit of the U.S., and not as some public benefits program for aliens. Actually, McCain understands this, even if many members of his own party (as well as many Democratic Party legislators) do not.
“My mentor was a sex pervert” would have to be Obama’s next book - after the mentor’s confessions. The National Enquirer delovers the goods. Who will pay any attention?

The undermining of our voting system must not be allowed to stand. America as we know it won’t exist if such voter fraud continues.
Obama must not be allowed to steal this election!
I already contaced the site about the racist troll. His comments just added more voters to John’s column. Thanks you moron.
Complete Guide to ACORN
They need to verify every single registration and start prosecuting some people including Brunner.
That was the topic of this thread. Brunner, Obama and Axelfraud are this election’s Blackwell, Bush and Rove… but pay no attention. The anchovy trolls don’t think it matters if the Democrats win by fraud because the ends justify the means.
Occasional contributor Bill Katz presides at Urgent Agenda, though he saves his longer reflections on life and politics for us. Today Bill draws on his experience working for Johnny Carson to comment on the current campaign:
Some readers may know that I used to work for Johnny Carson. Johnny had a favorite expression: “I did not know that.” You may recall him using it.
I’ve found myself repeating that line regularly during this election campaign. It’s amazing, the things I did not know. For example, it’s apparently wrong to bring up a presidential candidate’s 20-year affiliation with an anti-American, anti-Semitic pastor.
I did not know that.
It’s apparently wrong to discuss that candidate’s working affiliation with a man who is unrepentant about setting off bombs in public buildings.
I did not know that.
And it’s apparently wrong, maybe even racist, to mention the candidate’s close relationship with a pro-Arafat professor who defends suicide bombings.
I did not know that.
Well, now I know, and maybe I should have known. It’s wrong to bring these things up because they involve, say it in a whisper please, “guilt by association.”
Now, that term I know. I’ve known it all my adult life. And I also know that it’s been completely twisted out of shape in this presidential campaign. And why not? The term has been increasingly misused for half a century. Like an angry guard dog, it scares off all comers.
First of all, a simple question: What’s wrong with guilt by association? We judge people by the company they keep, by their pals, by their business affiliations. We all remember bringing home a friend from school, and having mom later say, “You know, I’m sure he’s nice, but I don’t like the kids he hangs out with.” We may have argued with mom, but we knew what she was saying, and we knew she was watching out for us. Yet, if we apply the same standard to a guy who wants to sit at Bill Clinton’s…well, Abraham Lincoln’s desk, we’re told we’re not only out of order, but we’re political degenerates as well, and maybe unsuitable for marriage.
The reason for this hypocrisy is fairly clear. The term “guilt by association” got its modern start in the so-called McCarthy era, the early fifties. For half a century the political left, including much of the literary, Hollywood and journalistic establishment, has decreed that any practice linked with that era must be banned from society, on pain of sin. The problem, of course, is that guilt by association meant something entirely different in McCarthy’s day. In its strict political sense, defined in the early fifties, it meant a casual, or even an accidental or unintended association. It even, in some cases, meant a nonexistent association, but one that was implied by vague evidence.
Here is a classic description of guilt by association: Senator Jones is invited to address a meeting of small businessmen. He appears, makes his speech, and then poses for a routine picture with officers of the group. A year later the man standing next to him is exposed as a pedophile. When Senator Jones runs for reelection, the picture surfaces. His opponent waves it before TV cameras, saying, “This is the kind of person Senator Jones counts among his friends.” That’s guilt by association.
There were several famous guilt by association cases in McCarthy’s time. In one, an Air Force lieutenant, Milo Radulovich, was stripped of his commission and declared a security risk because his father and sister were thought to be Communist sympathizers. The evidence against both was absurdly thin, at best. Edward R. Murrow, then the dean of broadcast journalists, exposed the matter on CBS, leading to national revulsion against such “guilt by association” tactics. Radulovich was later reinstated.
The most famous case, and perhaps the most damaging, involved Democratic Senator Millard E. Tydings of Maryland. Tydings chaired the Tydings Committee, formed to investigate Joseph McCarthy’s charges of Communist influence in the State Department. The committee’s report was harshly critical of McCarthy and his allegations. In retaliation, when Tydings ran for reelection in 1950, McCarthy’s staff distributed a faked, composite photo of Tydings with Earl Browder, former leader of the American Communist Party. Browder had testified before the Tydings Committee, and so a plausible case could be made that the two “knew” each other, or had contact. Although Browder’s testimony was stormy and hostile, Tydings said, “Thank you, sir,” when it ended, a quote later used to “prove” that he was friendly toward Browder. The “association” was damaging to Tydings, who was defeated for reelection.
Those are “guilt by association” cases. That’s what the term means. Those who fought against the tactic in the fifties would probably be shocked to see it applied to Barack Obama’s 20-year relationship with a pastor or his working connection, over years, with Bill Ayers. Those are issues of judgment. They were not casual or accidental. They go to the heart of who Obama is, the kind of people he’s chosen to work with and follow. We should not be deterred from examining those relationships, and demanding details.
It’s sad is that the press has gone along with the twisting of “guilt by association.” There are probably no veterans of the McCarthy era left in journalism to raise the caution flag. Young reporters who covered Millard Tydings would be in their eighties now. The editors running things today are graduates of the sixties, with all that implies, not much of it good. They are not serving the public well in many areas, but they could at least try to get the vocabulary right. Instead, they tell us we must not question, we must not probe, or we’re guilty of negativism, McCarthyism, racism, and insensitivity.
I did not know that.

excellent post…Obama is a product of far left radicals who have taken Democracy and fairness off of a cliff.
Excellent piece. And for those who think it’s okay to hide questions of judgement behind charges of guilt by association, I repeat that if this is okay for President Obama’s election, do you think the tactic is dropped after he’s sworn in? I know a lot of Democratic heads are going to explode when it’s turned on them.
Jerome Corsi was supposed to be interviewed on Hannity and Colmes last night, Monday, October 13, 2008. Yesterday, World Net Daily, a website
that Mr. Corsi is a regular contributor on, announced that Mr. Corsi was very ill from his experience in Kenya and his deportation. Last
night, Jerome Corsi was interviewed on the MommaE radio show. I am told that he called in from his bed.
Jerome Corsi, when interviewed on Hannity and Colmes, will, I am certain, provide a compelling story of his experience in Kenya and further proof
of Obama’s involvement in Kenyan politics as as well as evidence Obama violated the Logan Act. However, we do not have to see Mr. Corsi to examine the facts:
Barack Obama visited Kenya in 2006, campaigned with his cousin Raila Odinga and the ODM party and was criticized by the Kenyan Government for interfering in Kenyan affairs.
Jerome Corsi devoted a chapter in his book, “Obama Nation” to Obama and the Kenya connection.
Jerome Corsi recently visited Kenya and was deported by the Kenyan Government. Mr. Corsi returned with emails exchanged between Obama’s senate office and Raila Odinga.
Jerome Corsi also returned with verification of a ODM election strategy document. The strategies outlined in the ODM document are strikingly
similar to those employed by the Obama camp.
I have to say, I’ve very suspicious of this sudden illness. Was he drugged there? What I read was that he was without food for a day; hardly enough to make one bedridden a week later. I don’t know what is going on with him. If this was so earth shattering, then he could have had the interview from his bed and supply the proof to Hannity.
Lets just say my bullshit meter is peaked.
Lisa,
I listened to the Corsi interview last night on MommaE, and while Corsi is ill, he did not cancel the Hannity & Colmes show. They cancelled on him. Cordi was very very complementary to Fox and Hannity and had nothing at all bad to say about them, but he was confused as to why he was cancelled.
This interview was very enlightening. It lasted about an hour with taking questions from callers. A couple of things I didn’t hear before was there’s documentation that 0bama contributed $1 million to Odinga’s campaign, and so did Quadaffi (sp?) - all in full knowledge that the genocide was ordered by Odinga. Also mentioned that Dick Morris was there, at the request of 0bama to assist Odinga with him campaign.
It was a REALLY informative interview, and frankly, scary, given 0bama’s involvement and what it could mean if both Odinga & 0bama are elected.
Thanks for explaining. I don’t have cable so don’t have 24 hour news coverage.
Did he have actual documentation that Obama contributed $1 million? That is interesting. Was O supposed to report that on his taxes for 97? Has he released his tax records? Where did the money come from?
Lisa, that piece of news has been out there for a while…Good that Corsi was able to get evidence to back up the story. MSM is not doing their job. What can you expect from the corporate controlled phony media. It’s worse than Mugabe’s controled Zimbabwe!
Where on earth would Obama have gotten $1 million to give away like that? The number is awfully high. Senators don’t make that much, Michelle only makes $300K per year…???
From Auchi? From Rezko ? From public funds…where is the MSM???? Those fuckers! This have been sitiing on these stories since Day One…They have supported and cheer lead for the phony messiah. They dumped on over Clinton-and ignore everthing regarding the effete thug from Chicago cess-pool. Why don’t they investigate the Larry Sinclair allegations-why was he arrested by Joe Biden’s son?? Where is the media?
if it is the same money that was talked about months ago, I think it came from a friends of obama pac type thing,
On to North Carolina!
RALEIGH, N.C. — The State Board of Elections in North Carolina is investigating suspicious voter registration forms submitted by a grass-roots organization whose problems have drawn national attention.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now conducted a voter drive that registered nearly 28,000 in North Carolina. But some forms it filed had information that may have been copied from phone books, local election officials said.
Durham County’s elections office turned over about 120 suspect forms to the state for investigation about three weeks ago, and Wake County’s elections office sent in about 30 suspicious forms last week.
Gary Bartlett, the state board’s executive director, said ACORN has cooperated with the investigation into the questionable Durham forms. The office received information about the Wake forms Friday, Bartlett said.
I have a hard time believing these numbers. Statewide, I’ve read there are 800,000 new registrations, with 200,000 deletions (died or moved out of the state), for a net gain of 600,000 voters in two years.
Does it add up to you? Are there any other “ACORNS” out there?
Wow…
I guess ANYTHING can now be pegged as racism…
Here is the full story: http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/0,1518,584021,00.html
Hey when you dealing with a effete thug, you got to come out swinging. Soetoro-Obama is a bullshiter and the only way to deal with a BSer, is to put them in their place. You can’t play nice with gutter politics..Everyone has given this loser a past. McCain has to come out swinging…start dropping all of the crap on this phoney thug-who has gotten away with his Mugabe tactics because people are giving him a past. That is no way to deal with an effete thug from Chicago political cess-pool!

New Killer Anti-Obama Ads
http://patriotroom.com/?p=2991
OMG~! These are brilliant! Does anyone know where they are showing? They need to be on tv nonstop!
I.LOVE.THESE.ADS.
Short. Sweet. Facts. No Fluff. RIGHT ON.
I loved the statement ‘The senator who loves to use the chicken button’Present.Oh yes BO who is too afraid to make a stand politically or actually accomplish a singe thing in the sentate.
Let us never find out .What a great theme to sum up
the possibility of an Obama presidency ,which is the ultimate nightmare.
Those are good ads, unfortunately, they’re all racist.
The first one talks about terrorism, and terrorism is about making us afraid of people of color.
The second one is about not wanting minority people to have mortgages.
The third one is about not wanting to pay taxes for programs that help minorities.
The fourth one mentions chicken, and that’s a racist stereotype about AAs.
Opposition IS racism. (/snark) There is no objection that can not be slapped down with this one size fits all charge.
How predictable the racist trolls are out trying to smear NQ and divert attention from ACORN with their posting of inflammatory racist trash here.
It’s okay.
School starts soon. They’ll disappear.
WOW!!!! Double WOW! And even TRIPLE WOW. These are great dynamite ads. Very simple. Direct. Easy to understand. Very effective. Thanks for sharing Bill Dupray. Are they just internet ads? Or will they play on TV? If TV do you know which states?
On the website they seem to ask the same thing. The answer was slightly ambiguous.
This is no joke !
Acorn registers Mickey Mouse in Florida !
http://www.tampabay.com/news/politics/elections/article852295.ece
Cheap shot, but I have to take it: you don’t want Mickey to vote because he’s black, do you?
I find it interesting that, in the middle of deleting troll posts, you decided to delete a relevant, non-troll, informative post about McCain’s own associations (G. Gordon Liddy, for example) and McCain’s disgusting “Hillary + Janet Reno = Chelsea” excuse for a funny.
Can’t handle a little dissent, can ya boys?
Yes, so it is Ok for Soetoro-Obama, to flip off Clinton on national TV? Where were you, Name-calling, Soetoto thugs using language of whore, c**t, a dead hole? Where were you? Core Dems for McCain. Hey what about John Lewis referring to McCain as George Wallace?
HURRY WE NEED CLEANUP CENSOR PLZ
Here’s the problem:
With all these fraudulent registrations, ACORN could very well determine the election. How do those legitimately voting for McCain have a fair shot? There is none.
Don’t buy into this … they can only win if people stay home and don’t put up a fight. That is what they are counting on. Voter suppression is a fait acompli if you believe that he is winning. Don’t buy it. How many times did they tell us HRC didnt’ stand a chance and she KICKED HIS SKINNY ASS ALL THE WAY UNTIL SHE DIDN’T HAVE A JURISDICTION LEFT!!!!!
I don’t intend on staying home and doing nothing. I completely intend to fight. But as we’ve seen with the recent developments, it will be tough for precincts to sift through who are real voters and who are not. “Mickey Mouse” isn’t casting a vote for McCain, I can tell you that.
How do we know this didn’t happen in the Primary? The news media keeps insisting this didn’t happen in the Primary//How do they know? Clinton probable won by a larger margin, and we are stuck with Obama…This is a terrible election this time around..Mccain/Palin, better win, because I think Obama is dangerous for America..Hope they get some hard facts soon, on Obama ,and get him kicked out.
Drudge has a WSJ article ripping ACORN near the top of the page this aft.
details Obama with ACORN on Project Vote 1992, working as their
lawyer in 1995, Woods Fund $ to them, Obama campaign gives ACORN
$832,000 (they now admit) was for GOTV.
Obama is an ACORN.
Might the exposure and action taken regarding this ACORN voter fraud be part of the plan that McCain is unraveling? In other words, a prologue to the bigger October surprises coming down the pike?
IMO, I don’t think ACORN should be allowed to collect Voter Registration cards…or that any other organization should be allowed. I think every person eligible to vote should have to go to their Courthouse, show Identification and fill out the form there. That’s what I had to do…and millions of other people had to do. That would cut out any possibility of fraud…especially if they had to be witnessed by the County Clerk or a notary.
