Corruption Gets Body Slammed, Not Once, Not Twice, But Three Times…Take A Look

AP’s Philip Elliott’s story Federal court: Ohio must check voter registrations tell us to breathe one sigh of relief at least…our court system occasionally still works. Yesterday, a federal appeals court ordered Ohio’s top elections official, otherwise known as that naughty Democratic Sec’y of State, Jennifer Brunner, to set up a system by the end of the week to verify new voters’ eligibility and make it available to Ohio’s 88 county election boards.
The full 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati upheld a lower court’s ruling that Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner must use other government records to check the thousands of new voters for registration fraud. A three-judge panel of the 6th Circuit had disagreed last week, but the full court’s ruling trumped the panel’s decision. …Ohio Republicans sued Brunner, a Democrat.
“Her delay in providing this matching system leaves little time for election officials to act on questionable registrations,” Ohio GOP Chairman Bob Bennett said Tuesday night.
“Once again, Jennifer Brunner has wasted valuable taxpayer dollars only to have her partisan agenda rejected by a court of law. Her shameful actions to disenfranchise Republican absentee voters, block the transparency of early voting and refuse the proper verification of newly registered voters have rightfully damaged her credibility as a nonpartisan election administrator. She is destroying the public trust in Ohio’s elections system.”
A spokesman for Brunner did not immediately have a comment.
Naughty, naughty, Jennifer. I’ll bet she didn’t immediately have a comment. Quick – contact the Obama/Axelrod spin zone – they’re great at coming up with excuses on the fly.
Brunner previously said there was no way to set up the system with such speed.
Last week, a three-judge federal panel sided with her. But when the entire set of judges heard the appeal, they sided with the Ohio GOP and U.S. District Court Judge George C. Smith in Columbus, who ordered Brunner to develop a way to verify voter registration information and make it available to local elections boards.
Tuesday’s order directs Brunner to verify new registrations by comparing information on them with the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles or the Social Security Administration.
Considering someone was registered to vote by ACORN 73 times, maybe somebody’s got a right to be a little concerned. Just because the former Sec’y of State, Republican Kenneth Blackwell, did these kinds of shenanigans in 2004, doesn’t make it okay for Brunner to keep the tradition going. Ohioans elected Democrats to high offices to clean up this kind of fraud – they just might get rid of Brunner too, however, if there is the stink of corruption.
And the Second smackdown really was a smackdown you have got to read to believe.
File this under “tempers seem to be running a little high” Also in Ohio, a veritable hotbed of corruption apparently, The Akron Beacon Journal reports that police and elections board investigate alleged assault over marked ballot:
Poll workers from opposing sides in the presidential race apparently clashed in a physical altercation Friday at a Cuyahoga Falls nursing home when one accused the other of improperly marking a ballot.
George Manos, the 75-year-old Republican, told police that Edith Walker, the 73-year-old Democrat, jumped on his back and struck him in the head three to four times with her fists. Manos said two other elections workers had to pull Walker off his back, according to a report filed with Cuyahoga Falls police.
Manos said it happened after he accused Walker of ballot tampering, and he wants to prosecute. …The board probe could lead to a closer examination of the other votes with which Walker was involved.
The alleged assault piqued the interest of Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign — as the voter in question reportedly wanted to vote for McCain but her ballot was initially marked for Sen. Barack Obama.

”This is a troubling report that emphasizes the importance of having a transparent and open process in every voting place in Ohio,” said Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for McCain’s campaign.
The elections board sent two teams of poll workers, each with one Democrat and one Republican, to the nursing home to assist residents who otherwise would be unable to go to the polls. Such early voting is a routine service offered by elections boards to nursing homes.
As close as I can figure it, an elderly lady wanted to mark her ballot for John McCain and Ms. Walker was electioneering and trying to coerse the elderly lady voter into voting for Obama. It was at this point that Mr. Manos took the ballot away from Ms. Walker for improperly marking it.
Manos’ written statement is similar to what he told police. He also said Walker initially refused to show him the ballot, then [she] marked it a second time.
Richard Bader, a Republican poll worker at the nursing home, wrote that he forced his way between Walker and Manos and ‘’she tried to strong-arm me out of the way, but I held my ground.” Bader said the incident drew a crowd of six to 10 people.
She ‘strong-armed him out of the way?’ Hey. I guess ‘bitches get it done.’
Robert Dengle, a Democratic poll worker who witnessed the incident, wrote that Manos grabbed the ballot out of Walker’s hand and she went after him to get it back. When they ultimately reviewed the ballot, he said, it was marked both for Obama and McCain.
Then things got ugly and the 73 year old Democrat Ms. Walker started to put a beat-down on the 75 year old Republican Mr. Manos.
Wow. Who says septuagenarians aren’t in tip-top shape?
The voter was able to cast a new, correct ballot with her desired choices, according to elections board officials.

A North Kansas City couple has been left scratching their heads after they became the victims of a political scam.
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month — a $2300 donation to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The Larman’s say they don’t want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say they’re not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
“(They) said that they had seen-they were familiar with this,” said Steve Larman. “It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations.”
The Larman’s don’t want their politics to enter into what is essentially just a fraudulent charge. But they say that the charge involves the Obama campaign adds insult to injury for the registered Republicans.
“They (Chase) kept on asking me ‘are you sure you wouldn’t have gone to a site in support of Obama’,” said Rachel Larman. “And I repeatedly said I’m voting for McCain – I would not be going to an Obama site’.”
Gee. I thought Senator Obama’s campaign was rolling in dough?
Chase dropped the charge from the Larman’s card. The couple is thankful that they caught the charge on the card, but worried that others may not see that type of fraud on their own credit cards before it’s too late.
“You always get emails saying be on the lookout,” said Rachel. “So I just wanted to get the word out, that there’s someone out there perpetrating this against people, and to pay attention.”
The Obama campaign said they were aware of the Larman’s story, but did not have any comment.
No comment. Oh, yeah. Jennifer Brunner didn’t have any comment either. Must be going around.
I mean, I know there are a lot of enthusiastic supporters for Senator Obama, but being that everyone is so sure that he is well funded, well organized with a terrific ground operation and ginormous amounts of people who can’t wait to vote for him, can we just ask Obama supporters to follow a couple of ground rules:
• Try not to get in anybody’s face and make someone vote for your guy if they really don’t want to. Hey, Edith, you feisty thang, no more beat-downs please.
• Only take the money that was honestly contributed to your guy.
• Let’s go back to one person, one vote. Fair reflection, remember?

If he came back from Indonesia to Hawaii, WHICH COUNTRY’S PASSPORT DID HE TRAVEL ON? It had to be an Indonesian passport. If he travelled to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport, it means that he never really applied for a change of status as an American citizen. If ever he is holding a U.S. passport now, he probably applied for it using his Hawaiian birth certificate (forged?).
This citizenship issue is something he has never addressed personally and it could be the biggest surprise. The FBI should be on this by now.

I was so completely disgusted with the other court upholding Jennifer Brunner’s decision – so fantastic to read this today…finally…a bit of justice in an election season that’s been so filled with complete INJUSTICE – mainly by the MAIN STREAM MEDIA.
I think the chickens are coming home to roost. Thank goodness the court decided that these registrants needed to be checked out. If they are rightfully registered to vote, so be it. But, if they aren’t, then ACORN and the Dems should be held accountable.

I used to work in a county clerk’s office and I am SO CONCERNED about people voting early (or by absentee) and then voting again on election day. Are the computer programs these counties use sophisticated enough to be able to track who has voted in person and who voted by absentee?????

I believe the same thing. If Obama wins, and people cry voter fraud, he can claim people are just being cry babies. Obama will still be in a position to shut all the opposition down, with his lawyers, and position as President.
If he looses, HE can claim voter fraud because the higher voter registration weighed the polls so heavily in his favor. “How could Obama loose, when he had a fourteen point lead!”

What about the absentee ballots? Isn’t it still possible to use a fraudulent registration via absenteeism?
Without a proper voter ID standard, can’t otherwise inelgable voters use false registration to vote, or cast multiple votes in different precincts?

Frankly, we’ve been called so many names as Hillary supporters, it’s hard to keep it all straight. Also the use of it here is directed at someone no one knows, not one of the candidates.
Please keep in mind that when a state official is the named Defendant in a civil suit – I believe the RNC is the named Plaintiff here – the Office of the Attorney General acts as Counsel to the Secretary of State. This means, there’s a lot of taxpayer money tied up in pursuing this case. And that’s before the money the office of the S of S will spend on staff to verify the voter registration.

In related Ayers’ news, read this e-mail from an education major at Marist College. I imagine Ayers’ book is standard fare for legions of teachers-in-training:
I thought you would be interested to know that Marist College has a gradute course for education majors opening with William Ayers’ book “To Teach”. I am one of four students in the seminar and the professor last week made some disparaging remarks that the news media was portraying him as a terrorist. She tried to explain the “times” of the sixties as being radical and what Ayers did was not too uncommon during the civil rights campaign, and how he was a friend of Stokley Carmichael. When I asked how we could take the book, which is well written in it’s prose but very anti-system/anti-traditional with clear overtones that stigmatizes education in America as being designed for white suburbia, as being credible – she went into a convoluted answer that berated the right wing media.
Nevertheless, I didn’t press the issue too much as I have not been brainwashed by the main steam media into believing Obama’s relationship with Ayers is no big deal – but I do find her choice of books to be an unnecessary indoctrination on education majors who will be teaching future generations of young people. There are, without question, plenty of other well written books by credible authors that can easily replace Ayers’ book and I believe this is something Marist College should not condone as it sends a biased message from an author who committed violent crimes and doesn’t see America as a good place. How, therefore, can one take his viewpoint on how teachers should ‘teach’ children as being feasible?
Maybe this would be something you want to look into as to why the book is used for the course.

The demographic breakdown of the undecided voters in this poll should give McCain and his supporters some hope. Those Demo’s that favor Obama are solidly declared for him. Those most likely to support McCain seem to be the late breakers.
The other polls besides Zogby and Rassmusen are being irresponsible and are, in my opinion, trying to incite people’s emotions for a violent outburst if Obama loses.

It seems the woman– a democrat– was trying to vote for McCain. Her ballot had already been marked for Obama. That is the story here. Why was it marked for Obama?
The repub took her ballot away because he thought she was doing something illicit. She got pissed because she wanted her ballot back.

The story is two polling workerm one from either party, were helping edlerly people at a nursing home to “mark” their ballots correctly for President.
An elderly woman wanted to vote for

The Democratic woman polling worker tried to make her vote for Obama.
The voter marked the ballot for McCain.
The polling worker ALSO marked the same ballot for Obama even though the voter told the polling wrker she wanted McCain.
There was no mistake — thevoter knew who she wanted — as I stated — the poll worker was trying to coerce the vote for Obama and put another erroneous mark on the ballot herself.
The Repub polling worker caught her fraud and tried to stop it and took the ballot away.
Teh crooked Dem poll worker got mad and started beating on him.
The edlerly woman voter got a new ballot and got to cast her vote for McCain as she has originally intended.

ACORN Watch: RICO suit filed in Ohio

The Buckeye Institute has filed a RICO suit against ACORN in Ohio.
This should be done in every one of the states where ACORN “franchises” operate.
Details:
The Buckeye Institute, a Columbus-based think tank, today filed a state RICO action against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on behalf of two Warren County voters. The action filed in Warren County Court of Common Pleas alleges ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime. It seeks ACORN’s dissolution as a legal entity, the revocation of any licenses in Ohio, and an injunction against fraudulent voter registration and other illegal activities.
Plaintiffs Jennifer Miller of Mason, Ohio and Kimberly Grant of Loveland, allege that ACORN’s actions deprive them of the right to participate in an honest and effective elections process. They allege fraudulent voter registrations submitted by ACORN dilute the votes of legally registered voters.
“The right to cast a vote that is not diluted by fraudulent votes is a fundamental individual right,” Buckeye Institute President David Hansen said.
“ACORN appears to be recklessly disregarding Ohio laws and adding thousands of fraudulent voters to the state’s roles in the process,” Maurice Thompson, Director of the Buckeye Institute’s 1851 Center for Constitutional Law said. “Such voter fraud erodes the value of legally cast votes,” he added.
In the complaint, Thompson cites an accumulation of evidence showing numerous instances of admitted fraud by ACORN employees, as well as individuals solicited by ACORN.
“In light of its hiring, training and compensation practices, ACORN should have known its conduct would cause fraud,” Thompson said. “It also should know that its conduct will cause fraud in the future.”
In addition, the complaint cites conduct by ACORN in Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia

Today, it was announced that ACORN is being investigated in 10 states.
That’s one Hell of a coincidence.
We asked why Fitzgerald would be involved in this, because he’s the prosecutor on the Tony Rezko case and we aren’t aware of ACORN being investigated in Illinois.
We were told that ACORN was investigated in Illinois years ago, and it was a Fitzgerald case then. This means ACORN’s activities today, involving a conspiracy to commit multi-state voter fraud on SoetorObama’s behalf, are an extension of that previous ACORN case.
Our source in federal courts said, “Any crime that involves more than two people and is carried out across state lines qualifies as a corrupt organization. The fact that those “Goodwill” donations were made in Texas and received at Obama headquarters in Chicago or Washington means it qualifies for RICO.”
The “Goodwill donations” referred to above are the $228 million in undocumented, unverified campaign contributions the SoetorObama camp has received — which the McCain campaigned filed a complaint to the FEC on this past Monday.
We’ve also heard that the Clinton campaign filed complaints to the FBI and other federal agencies over SoetorObama’s fraud in the Iowa, Texas and other caucuses: voter intimidation, registration fraud, and other illegal activities.
The last thing we were told tonight in regards to all of this was that “the meme here is a tying together of all these various threads. That’s what you will see in the last weeks of the campaign: all things being tied together”.
If everything rumored here is true, it looks like David Axelrod, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, SoetorObama himself, and possibly even Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were all involved, together, in massive RICO violations, and thus federal fraud, if the DNC and party leadership knew what the SoetorObama campaign and ACORN were up to and allowed it to proceed. Knowledge of federal crimes being committed makes all parties accessories to those crimes — and part of the conspiracy to defraud the public.

I read other articles on that site besides this. They are not pro America at all. If they were making a hoax it was an elaborate one to create all the articles etc. Which leads to me thinking they are trying to help the Obama’s. Northland Couple Warns of Political Credit Card Fraud

NORTH KANSAS CITY, MO. — A North Kansas City couple has been left scratching their heads after they became the victims of a political scam.
Steve and Rachel Larman say a strange credit card charge appeared on their statement this month — a $2300 donation to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. The Larman’s say they don’t want this to be about their political affiliation, but they say they’re not about to give the Obama campaign any help from their pocketbook.
They said they notified Chase, their credit card bank, to report the fraud.
“(They) said that they were familiar with this,” said Steve Larman. “It was fraud, they believe through telemarketing but they were going to be doing some more investigations.”
The Larman’s don’t want their politics to enter into what is essentially just a fraudulent charge. But they say that the charge involves the Obama campaign adds insult to injury for the registered Republicans.
“They (Chase) kept on asking me ‘are you sure you wouldnt have gone to a site in support of Obama’,” said Rachel Larman. “And I repeatedly said ‘Im voting for McCain – I would not be going to an Obama site’.”
Chase dropped the charge from the Larman’s card. The couple is thankful that they caught the charge on the card, but worried that others may not see that type of fraud on their own credit cards before it’s too late.
“You always get emails saying be on the lookout,” said Rachel. “So I just wanted to get the word out, that there’s someone out there perpetrating this against people, and to pay attention.”
The Obama campaign said they were aware of the Larman’s story, but did not have any comment.
