Hilarious (!) Update #2: Some (former?) employee in Barack Obama’s campaign inner sanctum accidentally released all of Obama’s “talking points” for tonight’s third and final debate against John McCain. Jake Tapper has the story:
"* This is John McCain’s last chance to turn this race around and somehow convince the American people that his erratic response to this economic crisis doesn’t disqualify him from being President.
"* Just this weekend the weekend, John McCain vowed to ‘whip Obama’s you-know-what’ at the debate, and he’s indicated that he’ll be bringing up Bill Ayers to try to distract voters. (Read all.)
Update: Harriet Christian called me today to ask all of you near NYC or Scranton, Pennsylvania to join her on-the-ground group Saturday at Scranton’s “Democrats for McCain” headquarters. Harriet says the group that traveled by bus last weekend was very energized and “up” after the voter-to-voter interactions. Go here for the details, the same each Saturday — including both how to catch the bus at Penn Station or where to drive in Scranton to meet up.

It’s the typical Obama pattern. Deny. Minimize. Block it. Deflect. Make up excuse after excuse after excuse. Try to hide the proof. Destroy evidence.
Keep legitimate press from researching documentation.
When legitimate writers and researchers like Stanley Kurtz or Steve Diamond gain access, intimidate most of the MSM from pursuing the story or charm them into the “fairy tale” story of the ascendancy of “The One.”
The media are doing exactly what they did with the lead-up and first period of the Iraq War: CHEERLEAD!
The few who questioned were marginalized, banished, mocked and ridiculed.
When I wrote to Keith Olbermann before the Iraq war, he mocked my concern. Only later, when he got his full-time one-hour show at MSNBC did he find it profitable to become the left’s cheerleader against the war. (How I wish I still had those e-mails. But I would take an oath that he made fun of my opposition to the war. That was before he found out he could boost his ratings by playing to the Daily Kos crowd.)
So it goes.
And, now, an open thread!
