The Brainy Governor of New York Can’t Name Any Obama Accomplishments

Can anyone provide a list of substantive accomplishments that Barack Obama can claim, besides winning office and going to college? The one executive job Obama had — when Bill Ayers hired him to chair the $50 million Chicago Annenberg Challenge — meant that he had to carry out Bill Ayers’ radical school reform initiatives, at which he was a miserable failure since the entire project was a failure.

Then there’s the one chairmanship that Obama was given in the U.S. Senate, as subchair of the European Affairs Subcommittee of the Foreign Relations Committee, which represents another Obama failure. Actually, Obama should be charged with “dereliction of duty” because he never held a single hearing (even though the committee oversees NATO operations, including the war in Afghanistan that Obama is fond of bringing up) nor did he ever travel through Europe or to NATO headquarters. In a primary debate, Obama confessed that he had been too busy “running for President” to take care of the important committee’s oversight of essential national security and foreign relations matters. (It is also worth noting that, had Obama done his job on that committee, he would have learned key information and built vital international relationships to help him become a better president.)

Now there’s this:

MSNBC’S CHRIS MATTHEWS: “Can you give me a case where Barack Obama has reached across the aisle and cut a deal and gotten something done for the country? One example.” GOVERNOR PATERSON: “Well, Senator Obama has been there two years and I can’t cite an example right now.”

From the transcript:

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews: “We’ve watched John McCain over the years do things like Patients’ Bill of Rights, the McCain-Feingold reform bill. A number of cases where he has been able to reach across the aisle and get things done, even with Kennedy and Edwards and people like that, Feingold, people like that on the Democratic side. Can you give me a case where Barack Obama has reached across the aisle and cut a deal and gotten something done for the country? One example.”

Governor David Paterson: “Well, Senator Obama has been there two years and I can’t cite an example right now. But I know that did he collaborate with one of Republican senators on one of the issues. I just can’t name it off the top — ”

Matthews: “But the problem is you’re basing his success on a lack of achievement aren’t you? You’re saying he’s going to succeed and you can’t name a success.” …

Here’s the API article (link below). They claim to have a tape of the conversation just awaiting legal clearance to publish.

Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API.

Posted by africanpress on October 15, 2008

Accusing API of colluding with American internet bloggers in an effort to bring down her husband, Mrs Obama said she decided to call API because of what she termed, API’s help to spread rumours created by American bloggers and other racist media outlets in their efforts to damage a black man’s name, saying she hopes African Media was mature enough to be in the front to give unwavering support to her husband, a man Africans should identify themselves with.

When API told her that our online news media was only relaying what the American Bloggers and other media outlets had discovered through their investigations, Mrs Obama was angered and she came out loud with the following: “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.”

This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.

The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.

When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.

When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.

On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.

Mrs Obama asked API to write a good story about her husband and that will earn API an invitation to the innoguration ceremony when, as she put it , her husband will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year.

I heard this today and wondered why on earth Obama would insult people who make their living as plumbers or any other “working class” occupation. On the flip side, doesn’t Obama know how much master plumbers charge to come on over and fix that leaky pipe? Either way you slice it — an insult to the working class — or, ignorance about the wages of a really good plumber — Obama is really out of touch.

It’s pretty obvious that Obama doesn’t know much about working class Americans. He mocks Joe the plumber, just because he called it like he sees it (spreading the wealth is socialism = communism). But it’s also being said by Mike the mechanic, Ernie the electrician, Harry the housebuilder or any of the hundreds of thousands of small business people that make up Americas infrastructure.

GET OUT AND VOTE FOR McCAIN. DON’T LET THIS IDIOT RUN AMERICA WITH HIS COMMIE FRIENDS (unless you like living in a third world style country).

What does Obama have against plumbers. It’s pretty sad when a Presidential candidate openly mocks a profession, and the crowd laughs along. If that were said by any candidate that I supported, my support would have ended at that moment.

yeah that was funny. THe crowd gave obama a boo when he made fun of AIG going under. Which i am not quite sure how the failing of a major bank is humorous. Only to a Marxist i suppose.

But, Mac went on the attack and if i was his campaign i would give him some funny bits in his stump speech.
The cracks on ACORN were to funny. He roasted Obama and then made all of those remarks about raising expectations and Obama gave the dumbest speech that was supposed to be funny i ever heard. He called congress scumbags and lowlifes. Made the tina fey joke about russia. Said he punched someone in the face.
It was terrible, then at the end he launched into a unite the world stump speech. He looked bad going after Mac and at first i was a bit sore McCain had to go first.
The crack he made about Mathews getting a tingle in his leg, then McCain said ” I told him Maverick i can do. But messiah is above my pay-grade.”
Then he cracked a joke that oprah called him the one,”and being a colleague and friend of Barracks, i simply called him that one.”

We need video of this and everyone needs to send it around. This McCain can win over EVERY undecided.

You know after all this time, you’d think Obama supporters would have a canned answer to:

“Can you give me a case where Barack Obama has reached across the aisle and cut a deal and gotten something done for the country? One example.”

Instead of “uh, uh, uh, I can’t really give you that info now. Or wait, there was one time, I think. Uh, uh, uh.”

This same question was posed during the primaries, a dual interview with the late Stphanie Tubbs Jones and a SD from Texas. The Superdelegate went into the same “uh, uh” moment.

Why?

Because the slate is blank, the accomplishments nonexistent.

Wake up, America! Sometimes words are “just” words.

I say all of this because this pollster conveyed strong concern about their standing going into the homestretch. They are very concerned about winning the vote of the middle class and whole swaths of the electorate they consider the “unkowns.” In fact, and based on her conversation with this internal pollster for Obama, he’s not ahead in the polls as we’re being told. He’s at best tied.

Can anyone provide a list of substantive accomplishments that Barack Obama can claim, besides winning office and going to college?

- He is an African-American. Sort of.
- He has a policy of hope and change.
- He’s really good at raising money.
- He’s very flexible on the issues. He can change his position at any time without his supporters getting angry with him.
- He has an iPod.
- He likes JayZ.
- He has worked with John McCain.
- He’s a community organizer.
- He attended the church of Jeremiah Wright for twenty years and was successful in never hearing a single bit of racially hostile rhetoric.
- He is currently the record holder for fastest back-pedaling.
- He knows Auchi and Rezko.
- He has a house near Bill Ayers.
- He passed a lot of legislation in Illinois with the help of Emil Jones.
- He’s on good terms with Louis Farrakhan.
- He totally lacks any ‘good’ character references.

There’s a certain symmetry here. With the way you have to be totally unqualified to get an ACORN house loan and the way their #1 legal eagle is running on a platform of being totally unqualified for office.

Statement On ACORN Investigation

ARLINGTON, VA — Today, McCain-Palin 2008 campaign manager Rick Davis released the following statement in response to the FBI’s investigation of ACORN:

“Given the fact the FBI has launched a nationwide investigation into the questionable voter registration practices of ACORN, it is imperative that Barack Obama’s campaign cooperate fully with this important investigation. To date, in public announcements including last night’s debate, Barack Obama has attempted to conceal and distort his and his campaign’s relationship with a group that is currently engaging in systematic voter fraud. Barack Obama’s campaign must fully disclose the true nature of his association with ACORN, including:

The total disclosure of all funds, including $832,000 from Barack Obama’s campaign to ACORN and ACORN affiliations like Citizens Services, Inc.

Any and all information the Obama campaign has related to ACORN’s database of registered voters compiled during this election cycle.

The total disclosure of coordination between Barack Obama’s campaign, ACORN, and ACORN affiliations over the entirety of this election cycle.

The truth behind ACORN’s hiring of get-out-the-vote workers on Barack Obama’s behalf in Ohio during this election cycle.

“We all know that Senator Obama is ready for any contingency. Even the possibility of a sudden and dramatic market rebound. I’m told that at the first sign of recovery he will suspend his campaign and fly immediately to Washington to address this crisis.”

Biting humor for which he is famous.

Obama is a Manchurian Candidate. His accomplishments are nil same as his credibility. What I would like to see is for the McCain campaign to run an add contrasting Obama’s friend Bill Ayers with John McCain in the context of what Ayers was doing in the 60s while McCain was being tortured for his country inside a POW camp. The ad should show them side by side. Even the photo of Ayers stomping on the American flag next to a snapshot of McCain as a POW would be a stunning visual. I believe such an ad would turn this election around.

A couple of months ago, I asked a friend who is a rabid Obama supporter exactly what Senator Obama’s accomplishments were. He cited “wrote two books, elected IL state senator, organizer, taught law, U.S. senator and ran a presidential campaign”.

And which of those were actually accomplishments?

None of them. Those are personal achievements, not accomplishments.

These were all things he did for himself.

I gave my friend an example of something that would be an accomplishment…

“While organizing poor people in Chicago, Senator Obama made the streets safe by reducing crime by 50% and now young men help little old ladies cross the street.”

or this…

“While U.S. senator, he wrote legislation that saved taxpayers $20 billion per year.”

So what exactly are they?

Oh, I see.

She’s too afraid to not vote Democratic.

So she says to me — “But what are John McCain’s Policies? What has John McCain done??”

I say: “Well, you’re voting for Obama. You tell me what are his policies? What has he done?”

She stammered and said, “Um… I don;t know. He’s a democrat right?”

I changed the subject – I hate to have this kill our friendship.

This Governor sucks as much as the last one. It’s one embarassment after another. I am sick of living in this Obama State. Where’s the escape hatch?

My husband says he heard on MSNBC that Colin Powell may endorse Bobo. Can this fool do anything but trot out another endorsement every time the ground cracks a little wider under him? Who gives a rot who endorses this joke? Most of us are not lemmings!

Yep! It’s really striking how little there is to BO, and how little his ardent supporters can point to as his grand accomplishments. And why doesn’t anyone seem to notice this??

Amazing, ain’t it? Last night I was arguing with my mother, who is, I regret to say, a confirmed Obamatron. When I asked her this very question she said, “He’s a law professor!” I just had no response, I was floored. I wanted to say “So let’s just round up all the law professors in the country and pick one for preznit?” but I let it go, as she is my mother and I do love and respect her despite this period of temporary insanity she’s undergoing.

My mom,long-time Republican re-registered as Democrat and voting for “the lesser of two evils”-Obama. This is based on our local pro-Obama news paper and MSM.She doesn’t watch cable, and “refuses to talk politics with family” when I try to inform her on the dangers of Obama. ARGGGG!
So “orwellian”. All my life as a Democrat(now indy),she a Republican….I feel like I’m in the twilight zone!

Heard a lot of talk about this, too. Yeah, another “look at who likes me!!” attempt at distraction. Powell has lost so much respect among so many people, I think the reaction will be a huge universal shrug.

More than a shrug for me. These types of contradictory endorsements repel me even farther from Barky. Makes my Manchurian Canidate radar go off. For an inexperienced, untested democrat, Obama has received far too many “against type” endorsements from power brokers, from Wall Street billionaires to the Tri-lateral Commission. To quote one of my favorite robots: “Danger Will Robinson. Danger! Danger!”

What I want to know is–did Chris Matthews get that tingly feeling up and down his leg BEFORE or AFTER he did this interview?

The Video that could cost Obama the election:

Poll finds American reject redistribution of wealth as suggested by Barack Hussein Obama.

PRINCETON, NJ — When given a choice about how government should address the numerous economic difficulties facing today’s consumer, Americans overwhelmingly — by 84% to 13% — prefer that the government focus on improving overall economic conditions and the jobs situation in the United States as opposed to taking steps to distribute wealth more evenly among Americans.

People have a way of not recognizing the wolf at the door until after it has eaten one of the children. Do not allow Obama anywhere near our precious constitution, he will put a match to it and give you ten reasons why it was the right thing to do.
