Live Blogging Greta’s Fox News Special: “The Ties That Bind?”

Tune in to Fox News at 9:00 p.m. ET for Greta’s investigative report, “‘The Ties That Bind?.”

Van Susteran’s special will cover Obama’s relationships with Bill Ayers, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, ACORN and more.

By the way, will Fox News reair Hannity’s America special two weeks ago? I’m surprised the channel hasn’t done so since it obviously required an investment in personnel and travel.

Hannity says on his radio show that he will re air the first part closer to the election.

Comment by No Way, No How NoBama | 2008-10-18 20:07:44

I think tomorrow will be Part 2 of that show–(it sounds new, wasn’t that just a one part that aired two weeks ago?)

PS…Susan, thanks for this thread!

That’s the segment I’m talking about. When I was hearing Hannity on Sirius Patriot 144 he mentioned that he would Ayer it again closer to the election.

Now I might be wrong, but I thought Sunday’s show is different???

I wish Greta would have seen the new Rezko article on this site.

Comment by InsightAnalytical-GRL | 2008-10-18 20:01:17

I just saw an ad on the History Channel (during a show on the Depression’s Dust Bowl,no less) from the Republican Congressional Committee and John McCain…a joint ad, I guess..

I linked Tony Rezko, with headlines about “Bam” (Obama), money from the gov., Congressional Democrats (showing Reid, Pelosi, and a third), PORK, and more taxes on you, money to them….

Is it showing everywhere on all channels??

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 20:02:50

I live in NYC and have not seen a single McCain ad

Comment by Jason | 2008-10-18 20:16:21

Same here. But then again running a McCain ad in New York City would be like throwing a thimbleful of water on a tire fire.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:55:06

You’re right, but i thought we might have seen some national media buys that overlapped here. i’ve never seen an election cycle with so few candidate ads - some Oblowme but zippo McCain.

Comment by Bell'Artista | 2008-10-18 20:57:05

I live on an island near Seattle that I am certain will be the headquarters for the new Obama Gulag

No McCain ads or signs, only all Obama all the time.

32 Obama signs on one road, I have fantasies of mowing them all down but since I am not a hate filled Bot, I can find the self restraint and resist the urge.

As soon as I can save the necessary $$ I am moving to a cozy, comfy Red State.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-10-18 21:14:54

Bell…
You don’t have to move that far

Coupeville on Whidbey Island is one of the most conservative spots in the whole nation.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:57:29

I can relate. I would like to leave NYC. The Obama supporters out number the cock a roaches and they are pushy, rude and angry. Like many here I used to be a Dem. Now I don’t know how that happened.

Comment by wry | 2008-10-18 21:05:07

Two things…the best ads I’ve seen…and I used to be in the business, are from an independent group called LET FREEDOM RING.
I hope they’re on heavy rotation in Swing States.
That leads me to my second point. NYC is one of the priciest media markets in the world. John McCain will not win NYC ( maybe Staten Island:) ) so he’s got to spend his money elsewhere.
He, unlike that cheat Obama, is limited as to how much he can spend by campaign finance laws he helped pass.

Comment by NoBAma | 2008-10-18 21:10:57

mccain will win upstate NY and Long island. But he will get 9% of vote in NYC’s upper west side with all the latte liberals like Bush did.
mcCain is fighting for PA–he and Sarah are planted there because that would be a big upset that will make up for a loss in CO, or VA.
I think PA will be razor thin tight.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:59:04

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-10-18 21:17:38

Dick Morris loves being disgusting all the way to the bank..

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-10-18 20:24:31

Well, I’ll never “like” Dick Morris. He savaged Hillary Clinton throughout the entire primary. But he gained some points with me during the time Bill Clinton was being accused of racism. He said, unequivocally, that Bill Clinton might be a lot of things but the one thing he’d never been was a racist or a sexist.

For me, Morris went up a rung or two on the evolutionary scale with that remark. Certainly, he was far more honest than a lot of the “loyal” Dems out there who piled on to pile on.

That Democratic betrayal of the only 2-term, Dem Prez since FDR was truly disgusting, just another insult that ultimately led to my rejecting and fleeing the Party this year.

They’re not the Democrats I knew!

If your the kind of person that enjoys some one rehashing the things you already knew about politics, Dick Morris often has some useful insights. Just don’t listen to his predictions: if he ever gets a prediction right, it is purely accidental! For example, i still have one of his books sitting on my shelf entitled “Condi vs Hillary”. Sorry Dick, it ain’t gonna happen! :-P

Dick can be a bit Schizophrenic sometimes & betray that his real loyalties lie much more with his own gas-bag commentary fantasies, rather than any real party, idea or person. But as i said before, i appreciate that he puts political arguments & events into terms that i can explain to other prople better than i usually can by myself.

Otherwise, he’s just another bloated eel slithering threw the sewers with his friends Beckel & Luntz! :-D

Comment by Kal | 2008-10-18 20:20:31

OT — BO has now declared that McCain’s criticism of all BO’s ‘tax cuts’ — really tax credits that a lot of people can’t actually use — as a form of ‘welfare’ is…

… wait for it…

Racist!!!

Because of ‘associations’ with the term.

This is beyond ignorant, because, the whole analysis of tax cuts, tax credits, and other tax-system linked benefits as illegitimate ‘tax expenditures’ was created by the democrats in the 1970s — the government even publishes a Tax Expenditures Budget each year (as do many governments around the world) –

And the key test of whether a tax expenditure is really not appropriately located in the IRC is to ask: ‘If this were drafted as a welfare statute, would it pass the rationality test?’

The reason for asking this is because a lot of tax benefits/tax expenditures are actually not rationally linked to genuine need, but are often free-floating giveaways.

So BO is claiming it is racist to invoke one of the most well-established tax policy analytic tools ever developed by liberals — does this man not know anything about the tools and techniques of modern fiscal governance?

!!!

No wonder he doesn’t even know how to talk to an ordinary voter, plumber, whatever.

Comment by Ann Arbor for Palin | 2008-10-18 21:22:34

Kal,

You can keep saying

Racist, racist, racist,…… until it become a meaningLESS word.

Here’s a simple question. Given how Obama supporters casually dismiss their candidates political beginnings in the living room of an (unrepentant) terrorist bombmaker, would these same Obama supporters casually dismiss the issue if McCain or Palin began their political careers in the living room of an abortion clinic bombmaker?

Think about it.

Huckabee just had Joe The Plumber on his show before Greta’s…he is a solid, decent man who sticks to his beliefs.

An odd thing happened on the show. Huck had Al Sharpton on- who made sense and said we need bi-partisan investigations into voter fraud. He was making a lot of sense. Yes, I know. I’m sure it was Al Sharpton. He did not go on an ACORN defense tangent at ALL.

So…does this mean he knows it’s going to hit the fan about ACORN? It was a jaw-dropping tv moment.

Comment by kat in your hat | 2008-10-18 20:20:53

Dee, if Al Sharpton defends ACORN in a big way, people will be “alerted” even more than they are now.

Sharpton wants O to win.

Comment by Jason | 2008-10-18 20:22:28

Al Sharpton. I hate him. Remember when he incited the Freddie’s Fashion Mart massacre in Harlem in the mid 90’s? His race hate speech on 125th St incited one of his followers to storm the store, shoot everyone in there and then set it on fire.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 20:24:42

How about Tawana Brawley? He’s constantly stoking the racial fires here and it pisses me off. scarey. That’s why I don’t know why he was so open tonight. Something is up.

Comment by Dee | 2008-10-18 20:31:26

I know Al and his history- that’s precisely why i was SO stunned to hear him…sounding so unlike himself. It was startling - since it’s unlikey he’s suddenly had an epiphany in terms of any kind my first thought was - he knows something.

Greta found that tape thousands of us must have sent her with Barry promising ACORN and other community organizers a part of his administration.!

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 20:21:15

Comment by Goblintrain | 2008-10-18 21:36:22

Ya, i thought he looked ill too

Comment by Chicago Joe | 2008-10-18 20:21:26

I have heard Sharpton interviewed similarly earlier, so I think he is trying to distance himself.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 20:22:11

Go figure. I don’t get why though.

Comment by kat in your hat | 2008-10-18 20:39:06

Well, Sharpton might also not be himself on Fox News.

Oh and ya, I know all the horrible race baiting and violence he has started. I think a Jewish man got stabbed to death in Brooklyn because of Sharpton’s tirades during a march.

Comment by xax | 2008-10-18 21:21:02

The civil rights movement of yesteryear is nothing like the crap today.

Back then, America was a terrible place to be black, but you still had people who believed the promise of the country and encouraged people to work hard not just for respect, but for education, career and self improvement.

Now- it’s all about hatred. There are no speeches about the promise of America and working hard. All that is left is self pity (why can’t I get ahead) and blame (it’s all the white man’s fault). And Obama, with his cronies, feed into that bullsh*t on a very subtle level. He won’t say it in his speeches, but he and his campaign pushes it at every opportunity. You can see it in his followers. Instead of doing all the positive stuff he talks about (Hope and Change), they belittle, degrade, threaten physically assault people. It’s sickening.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:34:14

I don’t think so Kat. Sharpton goes nuts on that channel. He is an equal opportunity race baiter IMHO.

Comment by Goblintrain | 2008-10-18 21:41:52

Yes, he usually does go nuts on Foxnews, but the last two times ive seen him he’s actually been surprisingly reasonable, insightful, & even constructive. Leaves me puzzled, trying to rationalize his behavior. I’ve even wondered if maybe he’s terminally ill & trying to make amends before he passes. Just a thought, no basis in real facts, so don’t quote me! :-)

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-10-18 20:29:56

You know, Ani, I was very surprised at how “reasonable” Sharpton was during the interview. I expected him to fuss and fume over the very suggestion that ACORN might be up to no good.

But instead, he played it very cool and down the middle the road. Oh yes, we must perserve the sanctity of the vote and not allow the electorate to become cynical.

Al Sharpton????

Something’s coming. I don’t know what it is, but I suspect it’s big and bad.

Comment by Ani | 2008-10-18 20:33:20

Peggy Sue,

Thanks for responding. I did not see his comments. I hope you are right.

There is so much out there — it would be a shame if the one time they actually had the goods on someone who deserved NOT to be elected, they didn’t use them.

Comment by Jason | 2008-10-18 20:51:59

A few months ago after the Sean Bell cops were acquitted in New York, Sharpton promised to bring NYC to a standstill with massive displays of civil unrest.

They had one sit-in which went nowhere…and nothing since. So what happened? Obama’s campaign took off.

I would guess that Sharpton became excited by the prospect of America’s first black president and he realized that the sight of black unrest in New York City on the news would throw black American in a bad light and harm Obama’s chances.

So he’s been as good as gold ever since.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:36:09

I just saw on Greta’s show - they’re about to play the clip of Obama promising a room full of ACORN leaders that once he’s elected he will let them help him shape his agenda for America.

I always thought this was the most devastating clip of Obama and wondered why it had never been shown. Well, it’s about to go national. Obama, who says he has no ties to ACORN, promising ACORN that they’ll have a say in the running of America.

How bad could it get?

Comment by Chicago Joe | 2008-10-18 20:24:41

I think any of this on this blog could have waged a more effective ad campaign against BHO. What I don’t get is why that’s so. People who are paid to take him down—-with facts, no less—-are completely ineffectual in doing so.

Obama’s Big Lie in the Last Debate

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/10/post_20.html

Interestingly, despite their damning report on ACORN, CNN uncritically repeated what has now become the official Obama position on all his radical friends, to wit: “I hardly knew the man…” In the final presidential debate Wednesday night Obama reiterated that his only tie to ACORN was representing them along with the U.S. Justice Department, in a lawsuit demanding the Illinois state government enforce the new Motor Voter law. As with Ayers and Wright, he is lying. He knows it. And it is a Big Lie.

A C O R N = F R A U D
O B A M A = S O C I A L I S M

America, it is going to feel GREAT to give ACORN and Senator Socialist the collective finger on election day! Stand up and send Obama and ACORN back to Chicago as LOSERS!!

If there are 100 reporters outside Joe the Plumber’s home, where are the reporters waiting to interview William Ayers? I’ve never seen one interview with him.

Comment by Ani | 2008-10-18 20:43:14

That’s not in the reporter’s playbook — that would mean they were investigating something legitimate instead of trying to discredit a decent citizen.

Reporters are not in the decency business, and, with rare exceptions, like Greta abd Lou Dobbs, they are not in the honesty business either.

I got to meet Todd Palin today!

It was great! He shook my and my wife’s hands, had his photo taken w/ our kids and everything. I told him “Mr. Palin, we’re going to bring you Pennsylvania!” and he said “That’s great! We’re confident we’re going to win this state.”

He seems like a very genuine man. The kind of man who sticks up for family :)

Take care,

I am glad that she showed the interview Ayers did with Connie Chung in 2002, still very much proud of his plot and violence to overthrow the government.

I guess some of you don’t know what is really going on…..first Jesse Jackson….a man who ran for President and if any black man should have run for the whitehouse and got it …was him….he was an old civil rights person who fought and marched for that rights….then comes a snotty nose half white muslim kid with radical friends and said “hey I am black and I am Obama and I want to be your President and if you don’t vote for me ,,,you are a bigot.” Then the son, Jesse Jackson Jr, of the old civil rights man said “Hey, Dad…I am going to represent this guy, Obama…and I think you should endorse him, dad.” After that becomes his campaign manager. Jesse Jackson Senior looks at his son and said to himself, ” what the fu..k has this half kenya man done to deserve this….I march with the likes of Martin Luther…I have put up with all the racist people and this punk comes along and takes my place in history?” Around the corner a guy who marched with him named Al Sharpton who have the same wounds and the same scars looks at this “punk” from the chicago thug side of the city and said ” Wait a minute! How does this punk become President and how the hell does he come and knock down our Lady Hillary?” Yeah….that is whay they are saying to themselves….it is normal for Al to feel this way….he is not one of those house nig….er that just believes in skin but does love our american flag…. believe it…he is an american when it comes to socialist….I know some of you don’t believe it….but it is true….

Thank you for your thoughts. I believe you. I watched him on Huckabee.

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-10-18 21:02:30

Look, I’m not arguing with the idea about the old guard feeling slighted and abused by the new young lions on the civil rights’ front. But Al Sharpton is Al Sharpton and though he has absolutely mellowed with time, his performance tonight was out of character.

Now, I guess you could say that Huckabee manages to bring the best out of people. I don’t agree with Huckabee on much but he is an undeniably affable man.

But for me, Sharpton’s tone and attitude seemed like a huge disconnect and made me think:

What the hell is going on?

Let’s send the reporters to his house and job and harass him. Just like they did to Joe the Plumber, let’s go through his trash. I know he has to have students who would talk about the psycho professor.

He said in the 60’s to kill your parents, that would be cool.

I believe in an Obama administration, William Ayers will be the Secretary of Education. Schools are the best place to indoctorinate children.

Comment by lisa in va | 2008-10-18 21:29:39

Heck, if we can’t get the media to investigate Ayers, than maybe Joe should hop on a plane & head on over to Ayers house…the media is sure to follow & maybe if they’re in close proximaty to his house, they’ll ring the bell and actually do their jobs?

Vera Baker was a Obama Campaign worker, who now works in the Carribbean. The dish is that Michelle had a problem with the woman [suspected a too friendly relatonship between Ms. Baker and Obama] and had her dumped from the roster.

This is National Enquirer material. Smut for the sake of smut. Although I read another article suggesting funny money being laundered by the Obama campaign through Ms. Baker. But at this point it’s pure supposition. In other words, more smut.

Yes, you’re right. You only just hit the “A’s” and there are 25 more letters, or 26 if you’re Joe Biden. Greta is also looking into the relationship between Ayers/Obama/Acorn and a guy named Wade Rathke (whose brother embezzled a million dollars from ACORN), who is the head of the SEIC (?)–the group who just had filed an injunction to the Supreme Court on behalf of Jennifer Brunner so she wouldn’t have to do her job. Turns out Wade Rathke is the head of both SEIC and SDS, the umbrella group from which the Weather Underground split. It’s just amazing how all these little acorns lead to one little squirrel named Barack Obama.

My outrage.

1. This is the question I would expect Brokaw to ask Colin Powell tomorrow if he endorses Obama on Meet the Press tomorrow morning.

Mr. Powell, did you watch Greta’s program last night delineating the series of lies and misrepresentation that BO has made about those two issues during the course of his bid for the presidency?

And knowing that BO is a liar, and that he has close ties with an unrepentant terrorist, today you endorse him for POTUS?

Didn’t you learned something when you were Sec. of State and Head of the Pentagon with reference to how terrorist hide before, after, and during the time they are planning to commit their acts of terrorism?

Is hiding a central characteristic of terrorist?

Is hiding their true identity, beliefs and thoughts the mark of the majority of dangerous terrorist?

Do you then approve of BO hiding techniques and his methodological way in which he hides his relationship with Ayers and other characters from the electorate?

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:19:56

Colin Powell - the original bitter. He’s pissed as hell at the Republicans he got holding the Iraq bag at the UN. Far as I am concerned - the Dems slandered him left right and center for his blah blah about weapons of mass destruction they can have him. He didn’t do his homework either. If he does that to McCain I’ll go on every liberal blog and wish the Dems of my former party lots of luck.

Comment by Anee | 2008-10-18 21:31:56

Ha, Ha, who WANTS Colin Powell anyway, he lost all credibility at the UN with his stupid WMD conspiracy speech. He resigned in disgrace, why would anyone care what this fool says …

Comment by OhVoter | 2008-10-18 21:40:13

It’s going to be hilarious tomorrow if Powell endorses Obama. I remember how passionately the Kossacks and all the Dems HATED Powell for his caving to Bush & Rumsfield regarding the WMD in Iraq. They (and I still do) blamed Powell for Iraq because one honest public word from him could have prevented that fiasco. Democrats shouted over and over that they lost ALL respect for Powell. But if he endorses Obama tomorrow they will LOVE him and they will consider it the most important endorsement Obama has gotten.

Nothing that Powell says now means anything to me. I have lost all respect for him. If he should endorse McCain it would mean nothing. Powell is a coward and I am repulsed by him.

Id be interested in knowing what you qualify as negative, repeating Nobama’s stated positions on issues, pointing out where he is lying, what exactly has been negative?

Greta, Hannity, and Fox News should get the nobel peace prize for uncovering stories that could be potentially dangerous for this country. Obama’s associations are just too scary….plus the fact that he has been getting foreign money for his campaign speaks volumes. While you’re at it, access Farrakhan’s video about Barack being the new ‘messiah’ and having ‘one of them’ in the white house…Could Obama even work as a minimum wage employee in the White House with his background? Would security be a problem???

Ha!

Comment by Doris T. | 2008-10-18 21:35:08

Sharpton isn’t the brightest person, but I’ve never thought of him as a fool. He makes sure his back is covered. He will say one thing but be able to change it around to suit any circumstance.

I heard Sharpton make a comment at the DNC in August like “we were robbed”, this was concerning Bush winning over Gore in Florida. I found it quite interesting that he used “we” since all democrats are not part of his scenario or concerns. He usually is fighting for the minority person which in general from his viewpoint means African-Americans.

Rev. Jesse Jackson and Sharpton seem to communicate closely. But more importantly, I dislike their relationship with Louis Farrahkan. If there isn’t a problem, Farrahkan will create one. These three men are earnestly awaiting for Obama to be elected president. I’m not saying hoping because I believe they know he will be elected president.

I believe the fix has been in for awhile and all this has been in the works before September 11, 2001. How it is being done….I really don’t know. Money sure continutes to keep pouring into Obama’s Campaign. I’m thinking Farrahkan is the key for finances. Ayers is communicator to people that matter in the general election, who can pay-off and influence others to vote for Obama on a massive scale.

George Soros has given financial backing to Obama and Soros likes to destroy a countries economy and then capitalize on his offering assistance and growing even richer. However, Soros would need to be privy to every angle being used and Farrahkan would have cut him out of the loop, so to speak.

So, unless someone can link them as having a bonding friendship of an unusual nature. I cannot see Soros assisting Farrahkan with the voter fraud which IMO is what will happen to give Obama the presidency.

If you think of votes as if it were money, well then they can disappear, reappear, be juggled. What happens at the voting booths isn’t a problem for these people like Farrahkan and his cronies, not talking about Jackson or Sharpton. Although I believe Ayers will still figure out fraudulent tactics to change the votes in whatever way necessary.

I just believe that Farrahkan has it covered no matter how many fraudulent activities come to light. I’d say he has developed an iron-clad strategy to make Obama the president. I have no proof whatsoever….it’s all conjecture on my part.

And, I’ve also stated in the past that it was very significant that Oprah Winfrey endorsed Obama. Simply stating why is because Oprah doesn’t like to lose.

I feel better now that I’ve got it out of my head and in writig. Thanks for reading & listening.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-18 21:42:37

Hello Doris. Farakan is having a big shin dig tomorrow - He is i think rededicating his Temple. I guess he is doing some house cleaning before the Messiah comes home. Sickening. This is going to be a vastly different country. I fear there will be a lot of old resentments acted out in anger by Obama supporters - like the Black Panthers, etc.

Remember the “outrage” when Obama’s passport file was breached?

What if it was a planned breach by one of his minions? [[perhaps to cover his tracks on why he was able to travel to Pakistan at a time where US passport holders were not admitted]]

Just asking…. (and see below)

http://www.historycommons.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=civilliberties&civilliberties_surveillance=civilliberties_database_programs:

“The employees who broke into Obama’s files had access to his basic personal information, including his Social Security number, as well as his travel information, including information submitted by various US consulates from the nations to which Obama traveled . . .”

These employees worked for someone who advised Obama’s campaign. One break-in took place the day after the exif information on the FactCheck photos indicated that the photos were taken (3/13/2008).

…TWStreaming, thanks for the info!

…I’d like to know about the SOS (Secretary of State) info and where it states these things. I called my SOS office at least 3 months ago. Didn’t speak to the SOS, but the person I did speak to said it was a federal matter and I had to talk to Congress. I live in MA…imagine me trying to get Senators Kerry and Kennedy to listen to me after their endorsements of Obama.

…Bren, thanks…I will be reading the Farrahkan article next.

Will Smith: thanks for posting Greta’s show, I wasn’t able to watch tonight.

Conservative Chick; you mentioned…

“Greta is also looking into the relationship between Ayers/Obama/Acorn and a guy named Wade Rathke (whose brother embezzled a million dollars from ACORN), who is the head of the SEIC (?)–the group who just had filed an injunction to the Supreme Court on behalf of Jennifer Brunner so she wouldn’t have to do her job..”

I saw Greta’s post on her blog asking for info about SEIU and ACORN and why they would file an amicus brief. The answer has been out there and a few have blogged it, but it was news to me when I went looking the other night. Obama, ACORN, SEIU and the New Party go way back:

reports that Obama and Ayers shared offices for at least a year… or at least they had offices on the 3rd floor of the same building.

…TWStreaming and Bren

Dedication of the Temple…..While providing for their financial survival, political power, economic control, and guarantee of their alliances and commitment towards forming a new America, it’s political structure and how they think people should live their lives without freedom to choose.

Nation of Islam….there will no longer be the State of Illinois except on paper.

Nation of Islam believes black people are of God and white people are of the devil…..

When the heck are our political leaders going to wake up or have they already been bought & paid for.

…Bren

Obama’s change is America becoming the new Africa for Black People whereby Black People are not just equal but above other races.

Farrahkan wants all nations to be under the Nation of Islam, meaning under the control of Black Islamic People.

Obama had talked about a plan to organize group leaders from Black Churches, in the 1990s I believe, for sometime in the future.

As far as Farrahkan’s “universal change,” I think he has a far more sinister future for Americans and other Countries. Farrahkan speaks as a member of the Nation of Islam and it is my belief that his universal change is “one religion which is Islam.” So, all nations under the Nation of Islam, meaning controlled by force.

Obama is as egotistical as Farrahkan, but I believe Obama needs praises of himself given rather than praises of Allah. Neither believes they are wrong in what they say or do, but Farrahkan expects and would demand Obama step aside whether he is the president or not, because Farrahkan is the elder and leader. Plus, there is no doubt in my mind that Farrahkan believes he can manipulate Obama in achieving his hidden agendas.

They are both using each other to achieve their goals. Farrahkan has needed a “fresh face” and Obama needs the support that Farrahkan can give through his influence upon others so Obama’s Indonesian Islamic background caught Farrahkan’s eyes, so to speak. Farrahkan’s statement “go on the sidelines” says it all for me because he is dissing anyone who doesn’t believe what he is saying about Obama.

I think Obama has been heavily influenced by his Islamic teachings in Indonesia. I don’t believe Obama considers himself a muslim or christian, although he says he is christian. But TUCC is not what I would consider a Christian Church. I have heard Wright talk about God, but haven’t heard any sermons where he has mentioned Jesus Christ.

So, Farrahkan calling Obama, IMO, the Messiah does not mean Jesus Christ, but rather the chosen one. And the people are the instruments (voters) God will use to assist the chosen one….but for Farrahkan that would mean chosen for the Black People.

It’s late and my mind isn’t so sharp right now, but I hope I’ve answered your question. If you meant something more specific, post it and I’ll check back late Sunday evening.

The petition
In 2006, Barack Obama traveled to Africa on U.S. taxpayer money and for 6 days campaigned for Raila Odinga, who was running for the office of President of Kenya.

By the time Obama joined him on the trail, Odinga, who claims to be Obama’s cousin, had already established a reputation as a powerful orator, running as the ‘CANDIDATE of CHANGE’ and drawing crowds who chanted in deafening unison, ‘YES WE CAN!’

In ‘07 Odinga lost the election and on that day, hundreds of his followers spilled into the streets wielding machetes and launched a months long ethnic cleansing rampage on the opposition party followers, burning churches, raping women and hacking villagers to death which resulted in the mass genocide of over 1400 innocent men, women and children.

Later in 2007, as a way of bringing about compromise and ending violence, Odinga was able to muscle his way into a second top spot as Prime Minister, a new position created especially for him, and granted full Executive Priviledges over the government of Kenya.

Odinga, who denied that he was a muslim for years, has only recently went public with it, is against the extradition of Muslim terrorists and has vowed to bring Sharia Law to Kenya. In 2007, he traveled to the U.S. to visit and support his friend Obama in his bid for the Democratic nomination.

Obama campaign insiders have reported that Obama has continued to remain in contact with Odinga throughout his own Presidential campaign.

Although reports abound on the internet about the Obama/Odinga relationship, the mainstream Press has silenced this story.

As American citizens we are outraged at the failure of the Press to report pertinent facts surrounding the candidate Barack Obama and this and other associations, and believe that on the eve of our elections, this gross censorship may have placed our Democratic government and Natiional Security in “Clear and Present Danger.”

As citizens for the Truth in Media, we demand the story of Obama/Odinga be reported to the American people in time to learn the facts before the November elections.

We hereby petition CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, The New York Times, Washington Post and FOX TV NEWS to report this story and give it the attention it deserves as a LEAD Story NOW, before it is too late.

10/16 Breaking News!!! WorldNet News Daily (see link on this page) has other stories that need to be investigated including claims that Obama -played a key role in Odinga’s government takeover strategy and also may have donated nearly $1 million of his own campaign money to Odinga’s presidential campaign, which would have made him one of Odinga’s biggest contributors along with the son of Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi.

Please sign the petition, post to blogs and get it out to your friends NOW. If we can get FOX to run this as a LEAD story, the others will have to report!
