Audacity of Mendacity: Obama Attempts To Keep ACORN’s Voter Registration Fraud Alive And Intimidate Dissenters

obamashutup.jpgThe Audacity of Mendacity should be Barack-The- Communist-Obama’s next book, really.

Hoping to keep what’s really going on from the public eye, including his own longtime involvement with ACORN, and in order to quell the First Amendment once again while allowing voter registration fraud to continue on his behalf, Comrade Barack Obama’s attorney has written a ludicrous letter to the DOJ.

In typical Comrade fashion, Obama is attempting to deflect, reroute and change the subject while ACORN voter registration (and early voting!) fraud continues to be discovered throughout the USA in huge numbers.

As with Joe the Plumber, Obama is attempting to intimidate dissenters and blame everyone but himself and his beloved ACORN for their fraudulent voter registrations and attempts to plant deliberate seeds of chaos on Election Day.

Frankly, I am surprised the word “Racist” wasn’t used in the letter. Yet.

Obama campaign counsel Bob Bauer has sent a letter (.pdf) to the Department of Justice requesting that Special Prosecutor Dannehy — who is currently investigating the firings of U.S. Attorneys — expand her investigation to look into whether any administration officials have worked in a joint effort with the McCain campaign and the RNC in legitimizing the allegations of vote fraud.

In the letter, Bauer asks for an inquiry into what he calls a “systematic development and dissemination of unsupported, spurious allegations of vote fraud.” On a conference call with reporters, Bauer went further in explaining their position.

“These [vote fraud] allegations do not mean illegal voting,” Bauer said. “Nobody really expects thousands of Mickey Mouses or Tony Romos to show up at the poll to vote this fall. But at the end of the day, the reason that you’re getting the daily calls, the reason — quite apart from political desperation — that they’re resorting to this issue and not to others, is to utilize the mantra that they’ve hit upon and the organization whose name they plan to make famous as a proxy for attacking the electoral process itself.”

Bauer went on to say that the allegations are an “unprecedented effort to essentially sap the American people of confidence in the voting process” and that “an attack on the voters cannot go undefended.”

No Mr. Bauer, it’s an unprecedented effort to register anything that moves and get it to vote for Barack Obama, even if it is a seven year old child or a dog. After all, Comrade Obama has trouble closing deals and is generally accustomed to a combination of cheating and having someone help drag his butt over the line. (See “Democratic Primary”). This of course is only necessary if he can’t knock his opponents off ballots.

The idea of course it to keep what is going on quiet. Snatch it from the public and pretend the problem isn’t there, while Obama and his ACORN continue to perform their Magic in battleground states. Deflect. Reroute. Blame the messenger. Change the subject. Whatever it takes, it’s how Comrade Obama rolls.

But the McCain campaign isn’t going to be gagged by The Gagger In Chief, Comrade Obama.

In a response to the letter the Obama camp sent to the Justice Department, the McCain campaign has released this statement:

“After a week of shifting stories and clumsy corrections regarding Barack Obama’s connections to ACORN, the Obama campaign resorted to their now-customary heavy handed tactic of attempting to criminalize political discourse. Today’s outrageous letter to Attorney General Mukasey and Special Prosecutor Dannehy at the Justice Department asking for a special prosecutor to investigate Senator McCain and Governor Palin’s public statements about ACORN’s record of fraudulent voter registrations (including in this week’s Presidential debate) is absurd. It is a typical time-worn Washington attempt to criminalize political differences. For someone who promises ‘change,’ it is certainly only more of the same.”The letter’s request that the Department of Justice investigate ‘recent partisan Republican activities throughout the country’ is almost a parody of the Obama campaign’s attempt to intimidate their political opponents. In case Sen. Obama’s lawyer did not notice, we are in the midst of a political campaign, not a coronation, and the alleged criminal activity he calls ‘recent partisan Republican activities’ are what the rest of us call campaign speeches and debates. All of this is unfortunately reminiscent of the Obama campaign’s recent creation of a ‘truth squad’ of Missouri prosecutors and sheriffs to ‘target’ people who criticize Sen. Obama. Rest assured that, despite these threats, the McCain-Palin campaign will continue to address the serious issue of voter registration fraud by ACORN and other partisan groups, and compliance by states with the Help America Vote Act’s requirement of matching new voter registrations with state data bases to preve nt voter fraud.”

Obama’s attorney is right about one thing he said in his ludicrous letter: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! America needs to RUN to the polls on November 4 and put a stop to this hoax candidate who has locked up his own records and hidden his own affiliations from the public in attempt to Overthrow Democracy and turn America into a Chicago Thug machine.

This video is insane. Where are we going with this? Obama says he is a uniter but the more we uncover, we see that he will destroy our country. He has ripped the Democratic Party to shreds and now the MSM has been shown that our first amendment means nothing to global power, what next? Pain and destruction - not hope!!!

We were watching a bio of Frank Sinatra this afternoon. I’d heard rumors about his association with the mafia and about the mafia throwing the 1960 election to Kennedy. I did not know the actually did do that and at the request of Frank Sinatra. How sad. No wonder Edward Kennedy decided to turn to Chicago for help in rigging this election for Obama.

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-10-19 17:32:13

The Obama campaign is operating on a theory that you can bring any issue to 50/50. Basically, if public opinion is trending against you, pull something like this, try to nuke the playing field with accusations and confusion, and when the dust settles the damage will be minimized. Even if it doesn’t work, it isn’t likely to hurt either.

The counter to this move should be - whenever you see it, double the heat. They attack Palin, more Palin. They scream about charges against ACORN, double the ACORN effort. As the previous article said, they have scripts in place to push back on everything they think might be coming. This election will be a good test for this tactic. There will be a lot of pushing and shoving the next two weeks.

Obama’s problem is he doesn’t have the buffering lead he needed at this point, and it is much easier to create a doubt than to dispel it.

Comment by Docelder | 2008-10-19 17:38:53

Yes, whatever Obama camp“Camp Obama” spends the resources to attack… then that must be working. Double down is probably as good a strategy as any.

I think what we are missing though is the entire ACORN debacle is really a form of a “domestic terrorism” attack on our fair and democratic election process itself. This is just seeding doubt to the entire world that our concept of fair elections is a fallacy. When in truth ACORN is a fallacy and the political correct atmosphere that supports ACORN is the real problem.

Comment by lark | 2008-10-19 18:57:42

McCain is fighting almost on his own. He doesn’t have the support from the Republican party in the way Obama is supported by the Dems. So it is impossible for him to double. Impossible.

The only thing that works for McCain is that if Obama or Biden go impromptu they slip and slide. So he needs to keep asking those two incompetent socialists to talk outside their prepared notes. He needs to keep asking for answers, keep asking for answers and keep asking. Now more than ever.

Specially after Greta’s exposure and Hannity’s diatribes.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:59:10

I am concerned as well. The Repubs are just watching as McCain get pummeled by bots. Some of them have been atrocious toward Palin. I think that is why, he chose a woman and they don’t like that. Obama chose an insider and Nancy is happy.

Comment by Vicki | 2008-10-19 20:07:08

As a Republican and a member of FreeRepublic, the rank and file Republicans love Sarah. It’s the blue-blood, country club elites that the Democratic Party has always disliked (rightfully so) that doesn’t like her or trust her. But we rank and file folks outnumber the bluebloods by quite a bit, so it’s ok. A purge of the checked-pants brigade from our party would be a good thing.

Comment by PhxNickD | 2008-10-19 20:28:00

This is the same reason Hillary is not our nominee. They knew with her as President their days were numbered. the Republican’s probably feel the same way. That alone should convince America McCain is an outsider.

You know, with an election that should have been a gift to the Democrats this year, Obama spending 600 million to McCain’s 84 mill, lack of republicans supporting McCain - I would say McCain is doing well holding his own.

Comment by lark | 2008-10-19 21:03:48

McCain if I may say only needs one more slip from Obama. But if he doesn’t get it, maybe yesterday’s attack by Biden to independent Americans calling them racists will do. I hope that this week Biden’s racists call will be highlighted good and front page. Lets see.

Comment by Cooney | 2008-10-19 17:34:30

I hope McCain and Palin read Obama letter to DOJ at every campaign rally. The letter speaks for itself. I hope the MSM picks up on this and hammers Obama for once. What else could be worse than crybaby Obama tattling to DOJ to do something about these republicans who are picking on him. He is a coward.

Comment by candymarl | 2008-10-19 17:38:18

Partisan activities are now illegal? Then this campaign needs to stop and both sides need to stay home.

This is would be funny if it weren’t so scary.

This is what the Obama campaign does without the power of the Presidency. I wonder what “partisan activities” would be deemed illegal with the MCA and FISA behind Obama?

Comment by lark | 2008-10-19 18:59:42

I bet you I bet you that if the Dems control all three branches, everything they have done this year in dirty tricks, which they know very well what they are, are going to be made illegal.

Comment by oowawa | 2008-10-19 19:47:22

Partisan activities, like, for instance, this forum.

Comment by Cooney | 2008-10-19 17:39:21

Personally, I think this is the dumbest political move on Obama’s part so far. He is looking more and more like the ogre yelling kill the messenger.

Comment by PamFlorida | 2008-10-19 18:51:34

The letter to the DOJ sounds like it was written to defend ACORN. Why would he do that?

Comment by Ash | 2008-10-19 17:40:44

I’m going to follow the logic of this story for a minute.

The new more secure ID practices have reduced highway traffic by making it harder to make a fake driver’s license.

Also, the fake driver’s licenses were made by a guy whose job it was to go out and get people driver’s licenses, and was being paid to get legitimate new licenses.

In short, the letter is great. Boiled down: Mukasey better hope there aren’t any unlawful dealings here because prosecution will happen in the next administration.

Comment by IndieDogg | 2008-10-19 17:43:47

Two exerpts from a 2004 Chicago Sun-Times article.

First, as to his associations which he claims weren’t serious and don’t count anyway:

These days, he says, he attends the 11 a.m. Sunday service at Trinity (United Church of Christ) in the Brainerd neighborhood every week — or at least as many weeks as he is able. His pastor, Wright, has become a close confidant.

Friends and advisers, such as the Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina Roman Catholic Church in the Auburn- Gresham community on the South Side, who has known Obama for the better part of 20 years, help him keep that compass set, he says.

Another person Obama says he seeks out for spiritual counsel is state Sen. James Meeks, who is also the pastor of Chicago’s Salem Baptist Church. The day after Obama won the primary in March, he stopped by Salem for Wednesday-night Bible study.

This from his own interview, not from someone outside, casting stones. Said, post Senate primary win, when I assume he thought it would help him. Now that it doesn’t, he never heard of them.

Second, from the same article. An explanation for the shift and for his campaign in general, until he went “off message” in Joe’s driveway:

[Note: here he's talking about faith, but see what happens when you change a word]

“Part of the reason I think it’s always difficult for public figures to talk about this is that the nature of politics is that you want to have everybody like you and project the best possible traits onto you,” he says. “Oftentimes, that’s by being as vague as possible, or appealing to the lowest common denominators. The more specific and detailed you are on issues…, the more potentially dangerous it is.”

We can only hope.

I am a lifetime Democrat who voted today for John McCain. It was a bit intense voting against the Democratic Party candidate for the first time after voting a straight ticket for many years. After I got over it I voted against the Democratic candidate for Governor and the Democratic candidate for United States Senate. SCREW YOU DNC I waited three hours to vote todaY IT lOOKED LIKE A LOT OF MCCAIN VOTERS TO ME CAN BARACK BUY AN ELECTION —HELL NO FROM North Carolina

Comment by Ash | 2008-10-19 17:47:52

From the sounds of things, Obama’s winning 2-1 among North Carolina’s early voters. Oh dear.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-10-19 17:51:24

Considering votes aren’t actually COUNTED till election day, I would say you need to work on that psychic thing.

Comment by Ash | 2008-10-19 17:53:32

Well, 60% Democrats to 30% Republicans coming out. Statistically, Democrats vote for Obama in slightly higher percentages than Republicans vote for McCain, so, you’re right, that tells me more than 2-1 for Obama.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-10-19 18:01:00

Poll and statistics do not constitute facts any more than your post does.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:09:00

This isn’t true is it? How would they know already? How do we know the Dems aren’t voting for McCain because they are afraid of the Commie Bama?

Comment by bemused | 2008-10-19 18:42:27

Don’t get scared yet, Andrew. They don’t know this yet, they are extrapolating and as you say, even if people say they are Dems, they could still vote for McCain.

Comment by Bob | 2008-10-19 18:12:57

I have some bad news for Ash John Kerry only received 27% of the white vote in North Carolina in 2004 This means white Democrats don’t necessarily vote for Dems in national elections Obama will lose NC by 10 points

Exit polling that said Kerry was winning by several percentage points because people were lying. Besides, I thought they weren’t allowed to release exit poll data anymore before the actual results.

Comment by WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName | 2008-10-19 18:19:29

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:31:22

I’m not a concern troll, I’m just concerned. I live in Tucson, AZ and you would be shocked about the BAMA stuff that comes out all the time. I have to have the TV off to avoid the Obama ads. It is crazy. All I see are Obama stickers. Of course we do live near a university but still, I haven’t seen one McCain sticker. People are afraid to put a McCain sticker on in McCain’s state. They keep having these Barack the Century meetings in Parks where they tell people about the new Obama era. The kids at school are completely brainwashed. One kid has his entire backpack decorated in Obama memorabilia.

Comment by mtc | 2008-10-19 19:31:10

That is scary since the 7-year olds are a major untapped voting block. Well at least this year. The repression of the McCain/Palin vote will continue to strengthen their support. Americans don’t like to be told for whom to vote or to be pushed around. I have so many reasons not to vote for Obama that I would never say that it is because of the Bots. But oh what a sweet bonus!

Comment by Vicki | 2008-10-19 20:14:32

Tucson, Arizona is like the Venice [CA] of the state. Very skewed. Visit Phoenix and you’ll get the flavor of what’s going on. I lived in Phoenix for close to 20 years, and my husband lived in Tucson for 6 years.

Vicki I am in Phoenix and it is major Obama bumper stickers and signs everywhere. But in 2004 it was the same way for Kerry. I remember going to vote and when I got done I went to Starbucks. I was so excited, everyone was talking about voting for Kerry. I thought the state was going blue. Well we all knew how that turned out. I see the same stuff this year but this time I know better.

Comment by John Smith | 2008-10-19 18:07:24

Biden is an idiot. I don’t think they understand what they have done by calling everybody who does not support Obama racists. I know people who are starting to use the N word on a regular basis. I don’t agree with them but their argument is that if we are going to be called racist no matter what we do then we might as well be racist. Now these people were probably doing this in private anyway but having it in the open like that will infect many other people. It is truly sad. :(

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-10-19 18:11:14

There are a few people who really are racist who are now letting it show. But the larger impact is on people who are not at all racist, who have raised their kids not to be, who welcome the idea of a black president - but who are now getting message the other side has no interest in coming half way and in fact, sees us as in a race conflict. Obama is not turning white people racist, but white people have about one race nerve left, and he is standing on it!

Comment by bethtopaz | 2008-10-19 19:44:46

My fear is that if Obama is elected, the Black community and thugs of other ethnicities, including white people, will be energized and empowered to “get whitey,” and we will see more crimes against white people than ever before.

At the heart of Obama’s campaign is hate, rage and a desire for revenge against whitey.

Race relations in this country will be set back farther than 50 years.

The race baiting of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will erupt into very ugly things.

Many, many people are not racist, including many Black people, but Obama attracts the lowest denomination of the population and those that naively and blindly believe that he will bring unity - all the while refusing to do any research into who he really is.

Why this is, I don’t know. I don’t understand it.

The Middle Class:

Obama and his thugs desire to do away with the middle class.

This is from Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto:

You must, therefore, confess that by “individual” you mean no other person than the
bourgeois, than the middle-class owner of property. This person must, indeed, be swept out of
the way, and made impossible.

Comment by John Smith | 2008-10-19 17:55:52

Let me state at the beginning. I do not believe that Obama is going to be elected. The polls can say what they want but the support that Obama has comes from the far left of the Democratic party which will not carry him across the finish line since almost 60% of the US voting population leans conservative.

This is the way I see it. House prices have been going up 10 to 20% for the last 5 years depending what part of the country you live in. Even toward the end of last year they were still at their peek. If you look at what happened in Japan then we can expect it to take up to 10 years for the housing market to stabilize. In Japan prices of houses returned to the same place where they were when the real estate boom started. There is really no way to fix this except if we institute a massive immigration program to use up the housing inventory or inflation to make the houses affordable again. Immigration will not happen because that would put to much pressure on the workforce. Inflation is the number one responsibility of the FED so that will be kept under control. With those two options off the table we will have to wait 5 to 10 year before things will get better in the economy. The government will have to pump trillions of dollars into the market to keep it from collapsing. Millions of people who work or worked in construction, banking system, real estate agencies will be out of work and will remain so for years to come. This is not a conspiracy theory but what is going to happen.

We are being told that the housing market is worth about 14 trillion dollars. As housing prices keep dropping, millions of people will loose money in their greatest asset. Further more, most people who bought a house after then end of 2002 will have a negative equity in their property and will be stuck until prices climb back up which might take 15 years. Trillions of dollars will be lost by the public and investors with no easy way of getting it back. You might wonder what happened to all the money and hope that it will be returned into our economy at some point in time. That might have been true 50 years ago but with the global economy that is no longer the case.

Lets take China as an example, they lent us trillions of dollars so that we could finance our life style. China takes this money and buys treasuries from the US government which in return gives even more money to China in the form of interest. Our trade deficit has shrunk somewhat with China but is still quite large and so the bleeding is on going. China buys things from all over the world and so the wealth that we once had has been spread around the world with very little returning to the USA.

This turmoil and financial ruins we are facing now will be mad worse by the Obama’s economical plan. If he increases taxes on businesses and investments then even the small amounts of money that is returning to our country will go somewhere else where taxes are lower. This will throw our economy in a very deep recession or maybe even a depression which higher taxes will compound even more. There are no more bubbles in the near future we can hang our hats on. Clinton had the .com boom which made it possible to get away with the tax increase. Bush had the housing boom and deficit spending to keep the economy going. Now there is nothing left. We might have had an energy boom but that will not happen under a Obama administration. The people on the left think that just because we want to find a new fuel source that we can find one. Even if that happens by some miracle it will take 30 years to transition over from gasoline to what ever this new miracle fuel will be. What will we do in the mean time ride bicycles? I am sure we will not get a boom from bicycle sales.

McCain administration on the other hand would start drilling for oil and gas and build dozens of Nuclear plants. This will keep hundreds of billions of dollars in our economy and could reverse our trade deficit with the world. Keeping world trade going is important but we have to do what it takes to keep our self as competitive as possible. Higher taxes and dreaming about fusion powered cars is not the way to go.

Very interesting post. Not that it will help necessarily, but some of that real estate is going to be bought up by foreigners. It’s been happening like crazy in New York City and one of the reasons real estate prices have continued to escalate. It’s not a total win - most of these people don’t live here and don’t spend into the community, which makes everything even more expensive.
Just a thought…

ACORN is perhaps one of the greatest threats to free elections we have ever faced in our country. how shall we answer this threat?
And how can we not demnd to know every little potential tie that all candidates have to such a threat? Or the media outlets for that matter…
Does it fail to bother anyone that one of the founders of ACORN (Wade Rathke) was also a member of the Students for a Democratic Society radical organization and a friend of William Ayers? That the Students for a Democratic Society is an offshoot of the Intercollegiate Socialist Society? That Obama was a member of the very same Students for a Democratic Society at Occidental and Columbia, following in the footsteps of Ayers and Rathke?
Doesn’t this bother anyone????

I am not saying guilt by association.
I am saying the American People have a right to know exactly who they are electing and what he stands for!

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 19:10:39

What is the rate that the water goes into the pool?

Say that the water goes in to a pool that is five feet wide, five feet long, five feet deep, thus it has a volume of 125 cubic feet. If the water is flowing into the pool at 1 cubic foot per minute, how fast is the water level rising?

V = (s)^3

dV/dt = 3(s)^2 ds/dt

(1)/(3(5)^2)) = ds/dt

ds/dt = 1/75 ft/min

since s = h, dh/dt = 1/75 ft/min

Don’t fill your pull up this slowly!

In 100 words or less, explain how Einstein’s Theory of Relativity revealed the major flaw in Newton’s Law of Gravity, as applied to our solar system.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 19:14:23

Newton theorized that some force which he could not discern held the planets in motion. Einstein’s Theory of Relativity showed that it was actually the curvature of space and time that kept the planets rotating around the Earth. Furthermore, it proved that gravity travels at the speed of light, contrary to Newton’s belief that gravity traveled instantaneously. It is because of this that if the sun disappeared, not only would it still be bright out for 8 minutes, but the earth would still be rotating around the non-existent sun for 8 minutes before it drifted off into space and we all died.

Still, ACORN is probably driving felons and fakes to the polls as we speak.

The polls being paraded about to influence the electorate (e.g., Rasmussen, Gallup, Zogby) have nothing to do with ACORN.

What ACORN is doing is potentially criminal, which has legal ramifications, which in turn, has nothing to do with polling.

In other words, these are two entirely separate issues.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:23:42

I never said there was any connection. I’m just saying that the two mutually exclusive factors might work independently to confuse the electorate about what is happening while stealing votes.

But, I have not been out to Tempe lately. And, if you go to HS in Tucson, as I hear it La Raza is very active in your area pushing the usual agenda. You may not be getting a true view of the situation.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 19:20:13

No, I go to high school in Oro Valley. The kids parents are conservative but the kids feel the need to rebel or something. I don’t know. La Raza is crazy, the stage protests and shut stuff down. They even organize teachers strikes. That is only in the poorer Tucson schools that I chose not to go to. TUCSON IS BLUE!!! The rest of the state is red but Tucson and Pima County in general is blue, especially as you get closer to the border. I wonder why.

Comment by bemused | 2008-10-19 20:13:34

It’s partly a university town effect, partly La Raza, partly leftover effects from years ago during the Central American conflicts involving the Contras (lots of activists in Tucson). I think you have it with the youthful rebellion part. :) Very predictable!

Earlier I posted this about Daily Kos going after Joe the Plumber in a very threatening way. The link I cited was incorrect. This is a real story and sorry for the confusion:
http://papundits.wordpress.com/2008/10/17/daily-kos-and-joe

Worried about Joe the Plumbers Safety - KOS call to arms.

This is from the blog site on RCP - today that filth Daily Kos called Joe the Plumber, “the racist plumber” and published his home address.
That filth Markos goes on in his post to say “So to my fellow movement progressives, embrace that killer instinct and let’s finish the job. We’ve got conservatives demoralized and on the run. They are retrenching around their most important voices. So let’s pick off those they’ve left exposed and go after their best defended leaders as well.”

I really think KOS should be called out for publishing Joe’s address and then “embrace the killer instinct.” Can you imagine if our team did this?????

I am worried about Joe and his son’s safety.

I can’t stand Kos and the reason I post this is to say, we refuse to give in. he can dream on. We may get angry with the injustices being inflicted, but we are far from “demoralized”.

We, the so called “demoralized” will meet them at the voting booths and win the elections in spite of all the slander threats and rhetoric they can muster.

And we have an obligation to protect Joe for doing for us what so many could not–he got a straight answer about what Obama’s intentions really are. Even McCain praised him for this achievement. No one had been able to expose Obama’s plans, no one had been able to get him to gve us some straight talk. We owe Joe.
He is being punished because he questioned the “Holy One.” Didn’t Joe know he does not have that right?
According to Obama’s lawyer–this quote from a legal brief from an on-going case in Pensylvania–”a voter does not have standing to challenge the qualifications of a candidate for President of the Unitsed States.”

If voters–citizens of this great Nation do not have the right to question the candidate then who?

Protect Joe for asserting the right of every voter in America–to know what a candidate really stands for and believes in.

If there is a National Law in place that ensures that ALL new voters in the USofA have their new registrants checked for legitimacy, then why is it such a big deal for all 50 states to get their act together and enforce the damned law.
If they refuse to do this, then it sounds like a violation of the Help America Vote Act.
I, personally, am insulted by the hypocrisy that the U.S. has exhibited by allowing flagrant disregard for our own voting laws, yet still having the gall to attempt to tell other countries they should model a “free” election based on our example.

I’m sure you are a lot smarter than to fall for his BS, but he is a glib snake-oil salesman, so beware, he’ll try to con you and if that doesn’t work he’ll use ACORN’s fraudulent voters. How can you trust him? He’s lied to you before, he’ll do it again.

Ah, so you have no idea what the FEC does. What a surprise.

When it comes to the voters of Florida and Michigan, I am totally flummoxed. Voting for the man who went out of his way to ‘disenfranchise’ voters in those states - I put the word in single quotes because voting in a political party’s primary contest does not implicate the constitutional right to vote in the general election - is like endorsing the man who gave you the finger.

“…unprecedented effort….

An unprecedented effort is not only vilified but alleged illegal because Republicans forward them.

Efforts by Democratic operatives of all kinds do not rise to vile and illegal actions.

Only efforts by Reps are deemed illegal. All efforts of Dems are deemed honorable.

Then of course California arrests a Republican ‘consultant’ and charges him of voter fraud. Great. Lets turn the tables on fraud. It is the Republican that gets arrested.

If a Republican does it, is illegal as the law specifies and gets charged. But ACORN calls a news conference and excuses each and every case. Cool.

Woman shouts ’socialist, get out of here’ at Obama

As Obama walked in, a woman at the other end of the restaurant, a woman began shouting at him.

“Socialist, socialist, socialist!” said Diane Fanning, 54, a Sam’s Club employee. “Get out of here.”

There was a lot of noise and excitement and positive reception as well and it was unclear whether Obama heard her, writes pool reporter Margaret Talev, of McClatchy Newspapers.

But there was no disputing the animosity later, when Obama tried to shake Fanning’s hand. She refused the gesture.

Ha!

Oh and that would be Diane who works at sams club. That last bit is just to make it easier for the giant orange stupid to track down her employer and try to get her fired.

Comment by Arabella Trefoil | 2008-10-19 18:44:23

I sure hope that woman isn’t fired. Because if she is, Obama has a bigger problem than Joe the Plumber.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:55:12

Good for her. At least she can see the socialist nastiness brought forth by his BO.

Comment by typewriterstreaming | 2008-10-19 19:23:05

I think that woman is great. I wonder if she was at all influenced by the clarity Joe the Plumber has brought. Screaming “Socialist, Socialist, Socialist” in a diner is kind of like screaming “cock a roach! cock a roach!”

Joe Biden accusing undecided voters in America of being racists is par for the course from the Obama campaign.

Now here’s real gem of a statement!

There’s Joe Biden’s three, going on four, decades of experience in national politics on display.

What a joke. What an absolute joke that someone like that can be considered to have any stature whatsoever.

Anyways, you know what it is, Joe? It’s not race. America cannot relate to his lifestyle. You know, the life in which you worry about the price of arugula down at the local Whole Foods. The life in which it’s perfectly acceptable to be friends and colleagues with unrepentant, traitorous terrorists who would be behind bars as the scumbag criminals they are deserve to be. The life in which Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan are respected religious leaders. The lifestyle in which you regard small towns as harboring rednecks who love dem some guns and some religion. That’s why your buddy is sucking when he should be up, for real, by about 10 points.

At this point, there is something fundamentally flawed about Obama’s candidacy: Barack Obama.

Most Americans cannot relate to his urban, far left, Chicago Machine, and anti-American lifestyle. Americans cannot see themselves hanging out and having a beer with him. He’s too distant, too academic, and too left. In this regard, he’s just like Kerry, Dukakis, and Mondale. Another far left nerd who the Democrats screwed up and nominated to lose a presidential race. If not for his race he would never have been nominated. But the black vote is not how the Dems win elections. They win it by getting a fair enough cut of the bitter clingers vote. The only Democrat who’s been able to do that in the last 30 years has been Bill Clinton. Barack, you’re no Bill.

Country First!

You are spot on. Bill tried to move the party away from the loony left but got trampled by the right and the left on the way to getting it done. What might have been….

When you think how much information suppression the MSM has done on Oblowme’s behalf - it is shocking how low his poll numbers are. He should be way out in front - by huge double digits.

That is the one reason I’m not really concerned about the GE. He just isn’t making it. And I’m still waiting for the Grand or Great Gaffe. It should be a doozy.

150 mil raise in donations to Obama this month, and no accountability what so ever, Obama says its from the small donor less that 200 at a time. Overall they say Obama camp raised about 600mil or more impressive I would say.

I find all these donations quiet interesting especially in the center of an economy that is said to be so hard, difficult and bad for the average American, so am I to believe that some people rather take their hard own dollars and send it to Obama for his cause other than seeing about their bills.

In this day and age in America where people are struggling they prefer to take their dollars toss it behind Obama and go without, man that is really commendable Obama must really be the chosen one to be benefiting from such sacrifice.

I do hope after this election we do get the privilege of finding out exactly where all these Obama funds came from if that is possible, I am really curious to know if people are so willing to give their money away is such as they say difficult times, donations like that sure make you wonder if times are really that bad at all, for I sure cant think of myself or my family going without cash so I could give to a politician especially if am experiencing hard times.

Lets hope in the view of transparency in governance we will after the election get a clearer of where all this money came from.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-10-19 18:57:18

If that is from small donors I have some swamp land in the 57th state to sell you. That was Soros types. He is wasting a lot of it though with ads that harass the viewers every time they turn on the television.

Comment by Patience | 2008-10-19 20:24:07

Hey, when you’re willing to steal $2,300 from various individuals via credit card fraud the sky’s the limit. This is of course on top of all those illegal foreign donations, and the too-many-to-count $200 contributions from people such as VWXYZ who work at ACBDE.

This is a big reason why I like McCain. He’s much more honest than the average politician. Obama is the other extreme. Can you imagine the mockery McCain would be enduring right now if HE were trying to buy the presidency? Instead, the money-grubbing Obama’s vast sums are characterized as a testament to his qualification for the job.

If internal polling didn’t tell Bobo he has a big problem, he’d just jet on over to Hawaii for yet one more vacation. The phenom of the Bradley Effect alone must have him tossing and turning–and yet he and his minions not only continue to play the race card, but they’ve ramped up the game! Comrade Brazile told dissenters to hit the road, that new Dems would be created–and aren’t they trying to do just that by registering even fictional characters? Don’t think that in the ghettos or youth strongholds that Mickey Mouse won’t vote! If the Obamaniacs can put “Republican” monitors in the polls, who’s to stop him? The only hope is for millions of McCain/Palin supporters to stream to the polls and halt Comrade Mickey in his big-footed tracks. And I believe I sense them gearing up for battle. Where I work, I don’t hear much talk about Bobo anymore, and people are starting to openly discuss Mac and Sarah in non-hushed tones. My guess is that if BO is brought up, the fear among his followers is that they can’t adequetely answer charges made against him. The backlash is coming!

Comment by Galandrien | 2008-10-19 18:58:25

Give it a few days. If they can twist this into a race-baiting issue, I’m sure they will. They’re so-o-o very good at it, so obnoxiously creative.

And I am so-o-o sick of it [a racist statement, for sure]. Slap my hands!

The FEC is not functioning currently because it lacks a full board. All the way back in January or so Senator Government quietly put a “hold” on a nomination to the board, so there is nobody home to investigate unless MSM, NYT or WaPo feel like doing some real journalism. How convenient for Senator Government.

Deflect. Reroute. Blame the messenger. Change the subject. Whatever it takes, it’s how Comrade Obama rolls.

But the McCain campaign isn’t going to be gagged by The Gagger In Chief, Comrade Obama.

Nicely put. Say it like it is. A clean, crisp account of the Barky MO. I think the thread should be made into a poster.
