Obama and Ayers WORKED in the SAME Office & Address For Three (3) Years

For three years, and as recently as 2000, Barack Obama and William Ayers WORKED in the same Chicago office — along with Mike Klonsky, another infamous member of the bomb-setting domestic terrorists of the Weather Underground.

Great. Our next president may not just be the most liberal politician to ever serve but his only major achievement will be his years working in an office with a domestic terrorist and a radical Maoist on failed educational projects.

Actually, what worries me as much as the anti-American, still-active extremists he’s hung around with for decades is that Obama is a failed executive and has never administered any venture that succeeded, except his own elections. Obama was handed a single U.S. Senate quasi-executive position as chairman of a Foreign Relations subcommittee, but failed to convene a single hearing, travel to any of the countries or NATO, a critical part of his responsibility, because he was too busy running for president. Obama is not a worker. Obama is a schmoozer. He attracts many followers hypnotically, but he is not a true leader who has ever made a tough decision once in the spotlight or under intense pressure. (The pre-war speech doesn’t count because he gave the speech in a safe liberal, academic Chicago neighborhood and never showed up to aid many brave people in D.C. who were in the cross-hairs, and truly tried to stop the war.)

Gateway Pundit and Verum Serum blogs provide screenshots of and links to documents that prove that the three shared the same office space. (By the way, NoQuarter has written many stories about Mike Klonsky, including law professor Steve Diamond’s memorable, “How is it under that bus, Comrade Klonsky?“)

Verum Serum’s writer has done great work in tracing the MONIES that went to Bill Ayers, siphoned off of the Woods Fund and Joyce Foundation on whose boards Barack Obama sat. For details on the money — over two million dollars went to Bill Ayers’ “Small Schools Project” — see Verum Serum’s stories, “Crossing Paths Daily: Obama and Ayers Shared an Office (Update: For Three Years) and “Ayers and Obama: Follow the Money (Updated: Nearly $2M to Ayers).”

This is an introduction to the materials from the investigation of some hard-working bloggers. Our writers will have more soon.

Powell rationalized his endorsement by claiming Obama has been called a “terrorist” – but McCain has never even implied it!!
Ahh…the lengths people will go to endorse THE ONE – the Black one.

Comment by KC | 2008-10-19 09:07:20

Powell’s endorsement is just more evidence that Obama is Bush III.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-10-19 09:17:52

I considered that as well. Even though MSNBO and CNN are trying hard to push the POWELL hates BUSH agenda.

NO one held a gun to his head and made him go out there in front of the whole friggen world and LIE HIS ASS OFF!

Our military is NOT like that! I served and NO one forced me to say anything. YES they often cut certain things OUT of my articles that were deemed damaging but NO one could have made me go out and say that chit!! And I was PAO!

Comment by snosandy | 2008-10-19 09:39:42

When Obama was running against Hillary he was practically calling the Iraq War on her an blaming it on Hillary’s vote. That was the reason he won the nomination from her.

Obama should denounce Colin Powell, the man who sold the war on our country. Colin Powell is not the man I thought I knew.

Comment by bemused | 2008-10-19 14:15:18

Really, why do DEMOCRATS care about one of the major players of the BUSH war, when ending the war was originally one of BO’s selling points, in fact the only one. Is this to imply that now even the Bushies understand they were wrong wrong wrong, or is it a normal play to try to tap into Powell’s popularity? And I think it’s fair to say he was generally judged the good guy until into the war, and probably an effective authority figure for people who might feel BoBo needs some military support/advice. I think Powell’s being used again, myself.

Larry Johnson wrote that story last night — see his “It Was A Wonderful Day in the Neighborhood” post. We plan to bump up his story soon, but can you stick to the subject of this story, please? (People open the comments section of a specific story expecting to see comments about the story, not other stories — and I’m getting lots of complaints about off-topic comments.) To help with that, i’ll post another open thread soon.

There was some BIG money behind Obama BEFORE he entered the presidential race.
And with his $150M haul in September after becoming the ONLY nominee to ever opt out of public financing – he’s essentially bought the election.

Most of his followers seem to be more interested in his “historical” candidacy than his positions and deplorable character.

This just pisses me off. You know how many people already knew all about Obama and Ayers in Chicago? Tons. Obama’s huge inner circle lacks just as much decency to allow that man to repeatedly LIE to voters. It’s disgraceful. None of them felt it was immoral enough to say anything???

Why would they all keep his secrets?

Is it because these fools really think they can get away with their revolution? Must be!

Comment by lark | 2008-10-19 09:29:29

People are simply content with the strata – the social strata – that makes up the social groups and culture of Chicago.

Just like misogyny is something that secretly pleases a large number of leftist and liberal men as documented and proven in 2008, the social and cultural make up of poverty and race divisions are also secretly pleasing to most of them, even when they will rant and vouch differently for even a lifetime. Hypocrisy is a perverseness that extremely pleases the soul of unrepentant people.

Part of the problem is that Ayers has been a topic at NQ for months(rightfully so). How much more really is there to say? As readers what can we possibly add that hasn’t been said in the 30 other Ayers posts? I think the writers are taking this a bit to personal. In fact I learned about this topic yesterday or the day before by an off topic comment on another thread.

Powell just gave permission to all white people to vote for the white man. Party does not matter, cross party lines just to vote for someone that looks like you.

McCain has never done the things Powell is accusing him of…it is just what the blacks did to the Clinton’s in the primary. Also he said this about…

Powell said he has some concerns about the direction of the Republican Party, adding that it has “moved more to the right than I would like to see it.

McCain is not to far to the right so that won’t fly.

Here is the link

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-10-19 09:22:57

What Powell did is beyond the pale. He was Sec. of State under Bush and Chief of the Pentagon and he proved that he would sidestep any moral grounds in order to please himself and obtain his goals. He has no bounds and no decorum even thou he represents a man imbued in bounds and decorum.

Is the same thing with Obama, he has no respect for the American traditions yet appear as one who does.

It all an act and appearances based on hypocrisy.

Comment by Kal | 2008-10-19 10:54:38

I think ‘beyond the pale’ must be racist!!

Comment by Will Smith | 2008-10-19 18:28:22

It’s completely unbelievable that anyone, especially Powell can look at Obama, see everything that we see and with a straight face, not under duress, endorse him. Powell would never endorse a white republican who was friends with an abortion bomber that says they wish they did more. He would never endorse a white republican who was a member of a racist church for 20 years, and only just left because he was forced to by the negative press. And Powell is a complete HIPOCRAT endorsing Obama who has in real life this reversed scenario.

If Ayers and Obama worked at the same address, I’d love to hear from some of the smokers. The people who have to stand in front of the building for their ciggie breaks often know more about what’s going on than anyone else. Because Obama was, and is, a smoker I’ll bet the smoking club can tell us plenty.

Comment by snosandy | 2008-10-19 10:01:34

I think the Ayers connection is a huge issue in this election because I am very concerned about who my president associates with. It shows his character and judgment, yet Colin Powell used the McCain campaign of bringing Ayers into the race as a reason to turn against McCain.

Comment by Tuppence 411 | 2008-10-19 09:38:50

Now that Barky Oblahblah’s communist sympathies and ideological bent has been EXPOSED- it’s high time to haul out Reverend Wright. The relationship is relevant. Not because Wright is a hate mongering racist. But because Wright preached the heresy of marxist liberation theology. Obama sat there for 20 years. He clearly liked and agreed with what he heard.

Marxism is godless, no doubt. It has no appeal to strong faith based cultures, like in Latin America and the African American community. Therefore, to make marxism attractive in these cultures, liberation theology cloaks itself. Like all heresies it takes cover behind a universal truth- God calls us to love and care for one another.

Nobama is using this insidious technique of disguising marxism in palitable form for a mass consumption in all his policies. Nobama learned marxism at the foot of his mother and Frank Marshall Davis. He fostered the ideology throughout his adult life. But Jeremiah Wright showed him the way to disguise it, make it acceptable, take a truth and twist it to promote it. Jeremiah Wright didn’t make Obama a marxist, but he showed him the way to make others marxist.

Obama is not in any way responsible for the “success” of his campaign. Left to his own devises without the unprescidented media cooperation, illegal funding, and team of thugs he would not even be the nominee. Being controlled by puppet strings does not make one a success. If he cut the strings to stand on his own he would collapse.

That info would have proved very useful during this last debate. McCain could have shown him up as the liar he is. It is kinda hard not to really know people that you share and office with. I am also wondering what is taking the FEC so long to investigate the illegal campaign funds Obama is collecting. I bet a lot of it is coming from Africa.

Actually, I think the media tries to down play the findings of the bloggers. They’re definitely bent on getting Obama elected. I’m sure their response to this will be….So what?

Former FBI agent Willie Reagan said, “I spent seven years of my life hunting down people who described themselves as revolutionary communists and were involved in bombings.”

Reagan, who infiltrated the Weather Underground in New York, said he witnessed members of the group making bombs.

“At some point, Obama knew of his background and should have repudiated him, not later when he is running for president,” Reagan told Newsmax.

Noel, who worked the Weather Underground case in San Francisco, also questioned Obama’s reaction to questions about the issue, saying, “I have a problem with Obama minimizing the relationship and saying it has nothing to do with anything. Because having done background investigations for security clearances for years, you look into a person’s character, his associates, his loyalty and so forth.”

Noel noted that Ayers was a directing force of the Weather Underground. His wife-to-be, Bernardine, headed that organization.

“They were a violent, violent, anti-government, domestic terrorist organization,” Noel said. “Obama has not only associated with those people, he continued associating with racist people like his minister Jeremiah Wright over a period of 20 years. I don’t think that’s by happenstance. It’s just amazing to me. The American people are being led by the nose by people who say this isn’t important.”

Oliver “Buck” Revell, a former associate deputy director of the FBI, is similarly blunt. “In dealing with Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and the element that they represented, Obama was dealing with individuals who both openly and admittedly have engaged in treasonous activity and violence against the United States,” said Revell, who worked on the Weather Underground case in Philadelphia and Chicago.

The Obama campaign has refused to say when Obama became aware of Ayers’ terrorist background. When Obama began going to Columbia University in 1981, both Ayers and Dohrn were frequently in the news because of their violent past and brushes with the law. Ayers’ past was well known in Chicago, where he was quoted regularly and described as a former radical and former fugitive. Obama continued to serve on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago with Ayers for more than a year after Ayers expressed regret in the New York Times for not bombing more people.

As Lou Dobbs noted, there were media satellite trucks parked out in front of Ayers house to ask him questions… oh, no wait. They were parked out in front of Joe the plumber’s.

I wonder if and when the Obamaniac MSM will start to choke on their mantras to this charlatan. His supporters have to acknowledge to themselves that, if nothing else, he is a liar extraordinaire (unless they’re as ignorant as the Harlem folks who don’t know who Palin is!) I don’t know why anyone, left or right, would vote for someone who the voters apparently can really know nothing about except that he lies and flip-flops and associates with the scum of the earth!

Check this out:

Obama’s exact zip code, including the four digit box number was: 60607-2615 (see update at bottom)

According to this Google cache, Michael Klonsky used the same exact postal code, including the four digit box number: 60607-2615 and Mr. Klonsky’s name is right below the zip code

Not only were Obama on the Third Floor together, they shared the same post office box.

Colin Powell, who at one point I had a considerable amount of confidence in, but lost it all after his handling of the run up to the Irag war. If he had told the damn truth we would have never have been able to go to war. He lied! He is a liar! What makes anything he says about Obama and endorsement, is coming out of a known liars mouth. I wish I knew what is going on with Fox. Two tracking polls out today. Gallup which shows Obama gaining another point and his lead now at 10 points. The other is the Zogby poll has McCain gaining another point (second in two day) and now here Obama leads by only 2.7 percent. Now tell me how with a solid AA vote, an anti AA vote, an anti gender vote, the PUMA vote and other defecting Democrats can any pollster figure out this race.

I think we the American people should be reminded of the huge responsibility WE have to be informed voters, and do what’s best for our country. The electorate holds ultimate responsibility for giving us Bush, and thus the Iraq war. The information was out there, and the electorate got it wrong. Let’s not get fooled again! Know the candidates, and know what their plans are to achieve their agenda. We need to choose wisely.

By the time Obama met Bill Ayers, it’s clear Ayers was regarded as a respectable citizen, even by conservatives.

In 1995, Bill Ayers (with two others) won the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and was awarded $49.5 million dollars by the conservative Annenberg Foundation. The Foundation had been set up by Walter Hubert Annenberg – who had been appointed as the US Ambassador to the United Kingdom by President Nixon and awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Reagan. The check was presented at a ceremony in Chicago by Wallis Annenberg, daughter of Ambassador Annenberg and his wife Leonore and current VP of the Annenberg Foundation. Leonore Annenberg was appointed Chief of Protocol of the United States by President Reagan and is the current president of the Annenberg Foundation.

In 1997, the City of Chicago awarded Ayers its Citizen of the Year Award for his work on the Annenberg Challenge Project.
