Biden Guarantees an International Crisis in Six Months if Obama Wins [DOUBLE UPDATED]

[UPDATE from Larry Johnson: My friend, Joe Wilson, alerted me to the following video. It is vital we remember what it is like to have a nice guy who is unprepared to handle a crisis in the White House. It also is instructive to remember that it was John McCain who bucked the Republican leadership and pressed the issue of having the 9-11 Commission. That would not have happened without McCain's intervention. Just another uncomfortable fact.

UPDATE II: Here's the note from Joe Wilson that accompanied the video--Larry,
While I know that No Quarter remains the go to place for those who doubt that Obama is a worthy candidate for President, I think it is important to at least remember what John McCain’s party has done to this country over the past eight years. With that in mind, I wanted to invite your attention to a short (six minute) film put together by a two highly respected film makers here in Santa Fe. It reviews in poignant images the 9/11 attack and the response of W. in the school. While we all have heard the My Pet Goat story, it is here contrasted with events as they unfold contemporaneously in New York. I think that everybody ought to be reminded that this is the party that John McCain represents before they step in the voting booth. Thanks.
Joe]

Biden to Supporters: “Gird Your Loins” from ABC News Matthew Jaffe:

This is from the mouth, or the bigmouth of Senator Joe Biden, Obama’s running mate:

Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

I really can’t even comment about the gravity of these remarks – but leave you to Joe himself:

Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”

“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”
Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”
“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

I left the entirety of his statements here because it sounds to me like this man is babbling. So at the head of the ticket we have someone thoroughly unprepared to deal with any crisis. And number two on the ticket sounds less than coherent and certainly irresponsible.

Then after he ran off at the mouth for twenty minutes, he noticed that the press was squirreled away in the back of the ballroom.

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

This is not a joke, Senator Biden.

I do not want to elect a man who is going to invite people to put us in harm’s way. Obviously no one is going to mess with John McCain. So what are you trying to say here?

The other scenario is that this sounds almost Bush-like: predicting crisis that we are going to have to answer…what are we being dragged into? What is he hinting at?

Do his statements sound sane and sober you? Is this the ticket any sensible person would want to vote for?

Chat away.

My take: Biden is hinting that BO will try to prove he’s not a wuss like everybody thinks. He’ll become another “war president.” He’ll bring back the draft to “finish what Bush started.”

And since all you women won’t get off his back, he’ll draft the girls too, just to show he’s an Equal Opportunity kind of guy. ;-)

Comment by Joe | 2008-10-20 23:12:06

Israel, people. ISRAEL!!! That is what this comment was all about. He is telegraphing to people that they will abandon Israel if it coes to it — hence, the “whoa guys. I dont knnow about that decision.”

He was not talking to ordinary voters — he was talking to die hard Dems. People who would say, whoa — I’m not sure about that. Israel is not happy with this quote and any rational Jew or supporter of Israel should be running for the hills after that quote.

Come on and jump on board the team and come on in for the BIG WIN!!

CREEPY!!!

Biden’s revealing comments remind me of GWB’s uncharacteristic use of the word “trifecta” after the events Sept. 11th.

GWB: “I’ll never forget one time in Chicago when a reporter said, would you ever deficit spend? And I said, well, only — only if we were at war, only if there were a national emergency, or only if there is a recession. Never did I believe we’d get the trifecta. But we’re dealing with it.”

(Sounds like GWB was repeating what he overheard his advisors say.)

This is the most frightening thing I have heard to date, and if Joe Biden knows something is going to go down that will be detrimental to this country, he better speak now and save himself or go down with the radicals later. Wow. Very powerful juxtaposition between Bush, looking like a deer in the headlights, and the Twin Towers in that video.

My number one concern about Bozo is that he will put our country in danger. I think the stupid and naive so-called “progressives” with their hatred of America think that will give Bozo the chance to do the socialist thing–whatever that is. For those of us who’ve been around for a while and know history, we know that an attack on America with a arrogant unqualified twit in office could be a kiss-your-ass goodbye scenario.

Don’t worry, Obama has the right people advising him, he has Ziggy Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor during the Iran Hostage Crisis. If something big happens Ziggy could just surrender again, like he did in Iran. You see Jimmy and Ziggy didn’t think we should keep supporting the Shah, they thought it better to turn the Country over to the Shite Radicals who are still running the place. Get ready for Jimmy Carter Lite!

Comment by Mary | 2008-10-20 17:50:56

Ziggy is the man who approved secret funding through the CIA for the “freedom fighters” in Afghanistan to suck Russia into a long war of failure.

Thanks to Ziggy, we ARMED the mujahadeen there, on purpose, to draw them into Afghanistan, where they stayed for 10 years.

Saudi Arabia helped us fund that “adventure.” And one of the young Saudis who went to Afghanistan to build training camps and work with the CIA to defeat Russia was OSAMA BIN LADEN, who later went on to use his CIA training for other purposes.

Ziggy didn’t think about “unintended consequences” then. He just wanted to defeat the Soviet Union, and let Saudi Arabia pay half of the bill.

You are right – Ziggy and Surrender – I think Joe Biden is referring to our complete surrender when he talks about ““And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

I think Joe Biden is talking about Obama choosing to dismantle our military and not answering a challenge. As he said in his autobiography – when push comes to shove I know I will always stand with the Palestinian people.

I have zero belief Obama is on our site. ZERO. With Obama as CIC we’re going to have our as% kicked but good. And Joe Biden just confirmed that.

Comment by Carol | 2008-10-20 22:59:34

So our neighbors are going to be spying on us and we are going to be spying on them and then report each other to the Obama Gestapo?

What’s scary is that Biden has access to sensitive foreign affairs info. Is it possible that old Joe is basing this on something more than just a hunch?

Comment by HillaryOrMcCain | 2008-10-20 16:49:24

Yes, didn’t he just get a whitehouse briefing along with McCain/Palin last weekend… something regarding potential threats between Nov 4 and Jan 1, as a way to ease transition to the new administration… is this where he’s getting his information?

Comment by Jim S | 2008-10-20 19:31:33

Both sides receive security updates and are allowed to have a representative at the daily briefings. I think Obama isn’t allowed to attend because his security clearance is at Senate minimums. Sarah as the Governor of Alaska has a top secret clearance because the Alaska National Guard is on permanent active duty and she is in command of the guard.

I’m looking at Biden’s remarks as a threat to our security. Questions: If nothing happens over the first 6 months will Obama manufacture something to “prove” what a fearless leader he is? When Biden says that we will have to “help out”, is that an excuse for Obama to not keep his tax break promise and instead raise taxes for everyone? I’ll answer that for you, yes it is because his plan is unsustainable. It started out as a lie and will end up that way.

Comment by Fredster | 2008-10-21 01:09:29

I think Obama isn’t allowed to attend because his security clearance is at Senate minimums.

Yes, using ‘briliant’ in connection with the word Obama in not accurate. It is accurate to say he has a ‘brilliant’ teleprompter operator. And perhaps a lot of good speechwriters.

It’s not just going to be one major crisis, there will be many. The only thing keeping those conflicts corked right now is GW Bush – whether you hate Bush or not – he’s a deterrent.
Obama will be a match to dynamite. Obama sends a message of empathy that energizes and weakness that emboldens – people will take action that they would never dare take under Bush/Clinton/McCain. And we’ll be looking at military intervention across the globe.

And then Obama will institute the draft because it is unfair to place the burden of the military on the AA community. Right?

Perhaps that’s the unpopular part of the Biden prophesy.

Our fighting force is filled with noble dedicated men and women who believe that their scarifice is worth it. Our nation and its freedoms mean so much to them. Unlike Barack who just doesn’t get it, the American Dream.
Just ask Joe the plumber.

Sarracudea in So Cal, I’m sorry to have to say this, but you’re completely blinded by your right wing beliefs.

Look, the MSM (mainstream media) is NOT “liberal,” and neither is Barack Obama. Not even close. He praised Ronald Reagan and dissed Bill Clinton throughout most of his campaign. Why do you think Colin Powell endorsed Obama? Do you really think Powell has suddenly turned into a “far left liberal” (which BTW is an oxymoron) or–HORRORS–a “socialist?”

Remember that this is the media that was totally in the tank for GW Bush and his war in EyeRack. What does it tell you that they’re now completely in the tank for Obama?

It tells me–a lifetime Liberal Democrat–that Obama is the real Republican in this race, especially since DNC honcho Donna Brazile is Karl Rove’s good, good buddy, and Obama’s campaign has Rove’s fingerprints all over it.

He does but he is also in the pocket of the telecom industry. This man cannot be labelled as one would a run-of-the-mill politician. when one does not vote and just votes present ..it distorts what his real record would be!! And as a Junior Senator..with so little time voting in the senate..lwho the hell really knows what he is according to his votes..or non votes as it is.

Voting for Fisa and immunity for treason is not liberal! by any stretch of the imaginiation!

Going to the Canadians and telling them..don’t worry about Nafta..i am blowing it up the asses of the dems for an election..is not liberal.

Refusing to filibuster Alito is not liberal…when his vote was the one that would have caused a filibuster!

Getting the endorsement of Powell..who lied our soldiers into this war and is responsible for the deaths of over 4,000 american soldiers and the deaths of over 100,000 innocent Iraqi’s of which might i add..50 + % the population of Iraq before Powell’s illegal war were under the age of 15..is not liberal.

143 days as a junior senator does not prove what anyone is.

Put any dissenters in prison?

Doe Obama have something planned already with our enemies so there will be a national crisis and he will have to take complete and utter control?

In his next breath, Biden discussed OBL in Pakistan.

Quite possible our intel has concerns about another hit between election and inauguration.

And Obama has clearly said, that if he had “actionable intel,” he’d go in.

Been a lot of chatter on the Sunday shows that Pakistan is really now our biggest threat…..even bigger than Iran.

If you listen to the entire segment, it’s even worse. because he says that a situation only becomes a crisis when mishandled and he rattles off a list, including Bosnia, Iraq and Somalia. he says Bosnia was handled well and it didn’t become a crisis. so if you analyze what he is saying when he is promising us a crisis, what he is telling us is that Obama will mishandle the situation (no doubt with Joe’s expert help) and therefore we will have a crisis.

by the way, can we start a thread that tells mccain that he must demand that the networks give him equal time to Obama’s 30-minutes buys the Saturday before the election. this is too big to allow. Obama cannot buy this election — with foreign money and with donations from will good and the other phony donors.

Newser) – Michelle Obama has quietly carved out a niche that helps offset concerns about her husband’s lack of military background: reaching out to spouses of service members. Rather than just delivering a speech, she’s been hosting roundtable discussions, Politico reports. “I am here to listen and to do a lot of learning and then to transfer that information into the heart and mind of my husband,” she told attendees at one gathering.

Michelle Obama has called working with military families one of the “issues closest to my heart.” “If she becomes first lady, this will be her cause,” says a Marine wife who helped organize Blue Star Families for Obama, a “pro-military, pro-Obama” group. Says another: “We like Obama, but we love her. She gets what we are getting.”

Think this isn’t part of a strategy? Bambi does nothing for nothing.

Comment by HRocks | 2008-10-20 20:03:14

Barack does not want more military. In fact, he would like to keep as much of the military as possible out of the United States.

Barack wants to institure the Civilian Security Force like in his speech 2 July 08 in Colorado”:

Obama: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Also bizarre, it was a lead Politico article today about Obama’s driver. Someone else posted a link to it on another thread here earlier today. I’ll go look for it.

It made me think of a remark that Wallace made to McCain yesterday during Fox Sunday interview which made me think, huh? at the time. Wallace asked McCain about the mean-spirited hit piece the NYT ran against his wife Cindy McCain and whether Sen. McCain agreed with Cindy’s lawyer that ‘maybe the NYT should write a piece about Obama’s drug dealer’. McCain ignored the drug dealer reference altogether and just answered he hadn’t read it and recommended she not read it either. According to Politico, Obama’s driver resides in DuPage County, IL which is a very conservative/republican county.

Michael Signator is a friend of Obama. He was paid something like $50,000 during Obama’s campaign for Senate one year and paid other monies during other years. Not so much now though. I believe he was an adviser in some capacity. I read that he was also a bodyguard for Obama. He is a Chicago cop and lives in an apartment building not far from the Hyde Park area in Chicago. It may be in that part…not sure.

I have read that Obama came and went so many times to his apartment building, that many of those that live there have their own Obama stories. There is a health club there that Obama would go to. I read that it is not that nice there and wonder why Obama would choose to work out in that complex. Kind of strange that the Obama campaign has not released info on this guy and who he is. Obama would stop over for 15 minutes to a few hours to visit Michael.

I looked him up and someone on facebook shows up with that name. I have no clue if it is this guy or not. It all seems a little strange. With the Larry Sinclair thing, I am a little curious if there is some similarity. I am not into conspiracies, but that Larry guy sure is determined to get his story out. You have to wonder what Obama is doing over there besides working out.

Since Obama is so secretive, all we really can do is speculate. Could be nothing though. Even if it is something, like the MSM would cover it anyway.

Comment by Archimedes, give me a place to stand... | 2008-10-20 16:32:26

It seems odd that Obama would go to an apt. bldg. to work out, his mansion has a “well appointed” gym in the basement.

Comment by mimi | 2008-10-20 17:16:51

How does a policeman afford both an apt near the 0bamas mansion and a home some place else????

I am into conspiracies and this is yet another mystery in 0bama’s mysterious life that the msm won’t cover. They found out within 24 hours that Joe the Plumber owed back taxes and didn’t have a license. I didn’t realize that you couldn’t have an opinion or ask a question if you owed taxes. You are deprived of First Amendment Rights. Is that so?

Anyway, who is this Michael Signator person that has 0bama so chummy with him. He’s a bodyguard but he’s chummy with him? My immediate reaction was more downlow implications. But he is or was a cop. And once someone upthread mentioned drugs I immediately thought, he scores for 0bama. Here in NYC, there’s a well-known axiom that cops have the best drugs. And let’s face it, they have access. This is not to say that cops are all users, but drugs can be leveraged for info and money and sex.

But I don’t like this relationship at all. As it is, 0bama has NO CLOSE FRIENDS. Yet, he and supposedly Michelle are chummy with this guy enough to seek his counsel. All despots have some devoted ‘enforcer’ at their side to do their dirty work for them. Donald Young anyone?

Then there was a quote from this man in the article that I’m very uncomfortable with as an AA. Signator escorted 0bama to an AA Parade in Chicago where 0bama was greeted enthusiastically by chanting his name, etc. Signator is supposed to have made some crack to the effect: “That he was waiting for 0bama to rise up and say to the crowd: I will set you free!”

I’ll look for the exact quote. But I have to say, it reeks of condescension and is precisely the reason that I, an AA, will never vote for 0bama. For that man to make a remark like that suggests to me that the two have shared derogatory comments about AAs between them. That 0bama would feel this way is something I know is true in my gut. Unfortunately, I have no way of proving this. But that certainly doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

But I want to know more about this guy who doesn’t appear so far to be married.

This is interesting. Very interesting, indeed. Too bad everyone in Chicago is scared shitless to say anything.

Comment by Deep Truths | 2008-10-20 18:19:56

Interesting that Politico lead with this story. Even stranger that MSNBC would report Joe Biden’s super gaffe. Could it be that the Obama Press is hedging their bets?

I’d go with the crackhead/lover/buddy scenario. That’s why Larry Sinclair was arrested. That’s why Biden is his V.P. Joe’s son in Delaware had Sinclair arrested on trumped up charges, then released him after the phoney Democratic CONvention.

Things are heating up for Joe and Obama. Joe is hitting the bottle. No telling what Obama is hitting.

Concepts like social justice are almost like DNA to the Jewish people.. additionally, because of the Big Lie that NAZIism was a right-wing movement they highly suspicious of the right.

Just because they think it’s right wing doesn’t mean that NAZIism was right-wing. All collectivism is Left Wing and the NAZI movement like all Socialist movements is no different. The nationalistic socialist govs in Germany and Italy were to the right of Communism.. that is true. but on an absolute scale, they are all Left Wing movements.

I would add that the Patriot Act, a Bush favorite, is not in tune with the limited government thing.

Limited Govt doesn’t preclude prudent security activity. National security is the primary responsibility of the Federal Govt. It’s one of the few things they’re supposed to be doing (as opposed to almost everything else it does) and it’s funny how so many people attack it for that.

I would also add that neither is lurking about people’s bedrooms and doctors offices. There are discinct problems with both sides, especially concerning the Bill of Rights. As far as I’m concerned, the more rights we maintain, the better. And yes, I am a vocal proponent of the Second Amendment.

Concern about the Bill of Rights is part of what motivates ProLife. It’s false to state the intention is to get into someone’s bedroom.

The intent is to protect the right of a human being to be born. You don’t have to agree with the Pro-Left position, but you can be willing to accept what the ProLifers say about themselves.

Also as a Federalist I understand the difference between what the Fed Govt is empowered to do and that the States retain most of their Sovereignty to do almost anything they want. I consider it an aberration that the States have allowed themselves to be so impotent.

The XXVII Amendment is a disaster for our system of govt.

Then we disagree, which is fine among civilized people. Let’s hope Oblockhead doesn’t get into office, though, and use that Patriot Act for actions other than national security.

It’s cool to disagree.

I’m scared to death of a DoJ staffed with Nation of Islam people.

No law (or lack of law) is going to stop them from doing anything they want.

Me, too. But I’m also concerned about his sociopathic tendencies. He is truly narcissistic and those are dangerous people when given positions of authority. POTUS is no position for someone with that profile. It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I am hoping McCain pulls this one out. Everything other problem seems to pale in comparison.

I think they’ve bought into the worst of liberalism. Liberalism has wormed its way into the Jewish culture, and its lack of principles, morals, and willingness to capitulate to anyone/anytime in the interests of “peace” will destroy them.

That’s the point of the liberal ideology–divide, weaken and destroy under a facade of some form of intellectual enlightenment. It’s sickening. Israel should not be divided, carved up, sectioned off or anything of the sort.

Liberalism has wormed its way into the Jewish culture…..It’s sickening. Israel should not be divided, carved up, sectioned off or anything of the sort

American Jews are not Israeli Jews, and do not share the same world views, i,e., they are not a monolithic culture. It is a well-known secret that Israel has enough of an arsenal to make any adversary think twice and those who don’t think twice won’t be in any position to rethink their strategy when all is said and done. They will not hesitate to use whatever they have at their disposal to get the job done. No American President can change their attitude on that one, particularly someone like Oblockhead.

Comment by georgia | 2008-10-20 20:20:07

I agree both American and Israeli Jews are not monolithic, however what I still can’t wrap my arms around is the lack of kinship to a mother land. I’m 3rd generation Irish, Catholic. I have a soft spot in my heart for both the faith and the homeland. Can’t picture my supporting a POTUS that is willing to put a stick in the eye of roots, my heritage. Blood is thicker than water. I just don’t get it.

I love joe biden, i wish i livid in his state cuase i would vote for him next go round. Let’s think about this for a minute. If obama wins, we are going to get our butts beat, if we elect mccain nothing will happen because he’s been tested? now i know i don’t think like most people *sometimes that’s a good thing* but with all the countries that want obama as our president, with all the foreign leaders that want him as president, did biden pretty much just admit that the only reason they want obama in office is to kick our behinds because they think he’s weak and untested. Now i know Obots might not follow certain lines of reasoning, but ever now and again there is a glitch in their programming some thing call a survival instinct. Before they were running all smooth, but for ones that heard that, Syntax Error is popping up all over some of their screens.

Well, I had already read reports that the Homeland Security folks are expecting a terrorist attack or international fallout shortly after the election or the next POTUS is sworn in because it follows a pattern and apparently there’s “chatter” about it. What I found remarkable was Biden stating that Obama might not appear to be doing the right thing in the beginning but for supporters to stay with them because he’d have informed people around him.

Huh?

Guess Biden just blew the idea that experience “doesn’t” count.

So when will Obama be ready? Day 100? After the first 1000 days?

This is nightmare city! Even his own VP doesn’t think he’s ready and is suggesting the international thugs will test the “new kid” on the block.

Incredible!

Well, if that’s the coded message in Biden’s comments, it means that all these young kids, the most ardent Obama supporters will be thrown under the bus, into the threshing machine and they won’t know what’s hit them.

Wonder if the trance will survive an announcement like that? Somehow I doubt it. And they’re talking civil unrest if they don’t win the election?

“…we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

This man has no governor on his mouth or, apparently, on his brain.

He not only knows there’s going to be a crisis, but he’s already predicted that Obama might screw it up?!

He puts it differently (see above) but he’s already saying, without having any idea what he’s talking about (what else is new), that “it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” In other words, you already know, Joe, that it’s going to “look like” you and BHO screwed up even though, predicting in advance, you’ll be actually right!! Though you have no clue what crisis you might be talking about.

Why can’t it look like you’re right from the start? If you’re right, why keep it a secret?

We have very little upon which to judge Barack Obama’s judgment but, judging from his selection of a Vice Presidential running mate (not even getting to the question of a candidate for “change” in Washington picking a guy who’s been there longer than McCain), he’s proved, once again, how “boneheaded” he is.

Obama’s “Spread the Wealth” Plan Raises Taxes on Two-Thirds of Small Business Profits

Obama’s Plan raises taxes on two-thirds of the small business profits generated in this country!!!

http://www.atr.org/content/pdf/2008/oct/102008pr-smallbusinessprofits.pdf

Excellent explanation about why BO and his talking point minions are spewing lies with statistics.

Obama Tax Plan will KILL THIS FRAGILE ECONOMY!!!

Small businesses account for ALL of the net new job creation in this country. If Obama raises taxes on two-thirds of small business profits, it will have a very chilling effect on that job creation engine.

Please, people, get this word out before it’s two late. Email this link to as many people as you can and explain to them that we can’t afford to let his socialist agenda take us into another world-wide great depression.

Think about it… He will be taking cash from businesses that create jobs and handing it to people, most of whom pay no taxes at all. What do you think they will do with it? Will they be hiring? I doubt it.

My tinfoil hat says Biden is a plant. But by whom? I have heard that he volunteered rather than was sought out, so the key is, why did he volunteer? One theory was Daley pushed him. Another that he is hoping for his own glory–I don’t buy that at all. He seems as weird in his position as Hillary stumping.

Every day we go through this, hoping that the levee breaks. I feel like forces are all around, drifting in quietly, getting in range. But what could bring O. down convincingly? And I say that because whatever we see against him, it tends to get shrugged off by the Obots. I can only think:
1. Major provable connection to Islam, or Islamic terrorists.
2. Proof that he isn’t really Obama but a substitute.
3. Simultaneous bust by at least 3 agencies on at least 27 different charges, all with audio and video of Obama saying “I did it and I’m guilty, hahaha.”
4. In bed with two guys and a kilo of coke.

Seriously, it’s like killing the Hydra.

I’ll defer to those who know Senator Biden better than do I but, from what I understand, none of this is new. This is who he is and always has been. He loves to hear himself talk and often doesn’t seem to care what it is he says, just so people are listening. Look, he’s run, or sort of run, for President and never got more than friends, family and, I’m thinking now, drinking buddies to vote for him. Now, I know throwing drinking buddies in there probably raises the number significantly but still never enough to get him out of the low single digits. And, that’s despite his self-proclaimed foreign policy expertise.

Thank goodness he’s in the Senate where he doesn’t actually conduct foreign policy.

Oh, wait…. he wants to be Vice President.

Oh, man, I have to go lie down.

No, on second thought, I’d rather….

STAND UP!!!

Comment by Deep Truths | 2008-10-20 18:44:59

Regardless if Biden is acting ‘normal’, this gaffe is beyond the pale.

Its either one of four things: 1)Aneurysm number three, 2) he’s drunk, 3) he’s a stupid drunk suffering from complications of an anuerysm, 4) he’s subconciously trying to lose this thing for the teeny-weeny patriotism that may exists in what’s left of his 5-deferment body.

me thinks that perhaps the leftist cover of barack obama is the manchurian candidate’s overt calling card, and not the actual covert one that represents the people he really works for.

the real calling card will perhaps cause the tin foil hat itself to shrivel.

this is most interesting. my dreams are haunted by the architects of the coming one world order, and the bobo is it’s talking head. a veritable nightmare, as the obots march willingly to the piper’s hypnotic and mellifluous oratory.

maybe joe biden knows a lot more than he lets on. except for mements like now, when he is on a gaffathon, as in the recent “slip”.

My wild speculation by connecting a known few comments is this. If war breaks out it will be women drafted and used as cannon fodder. We have already heard Obama suggest drafting women. We have evidence that women are hated by the Democratic elitists. We have Biden making remarks about unpopular methods. We also have Biden making suggestive remarks about what? Attacks? Is he inviting them?

All I know is that if I was on the fence and someone said those things I would leap to the right and land in the yard of the man with real experience and not the mouth of the norths running mate either.

Uhhh Senator Obama just HAD to bring his drama to my neck of the woods so to speak. We do things a little bit differently in the south. Out of all the black elected officials this state has. Why is it the only time something “racist” happens it happens to Obama? Everything and everyplace he goes turns to crap. Some newly discovered “racist” group just happens to manifest in front of a camera. Maybe if they stop asking questions ABOUT race people would not focus on it. People are not liking this guy at all because it is so obvious what he is doing.

Every single day there is a new story about some racist statements made to him where someone yells out a racial slur but no one seems to know where it came from but it makes it’s way to CNN.

Then they have the audacity to do interviews and put peoples names out there. But they might not want to do that because people in our military community will close ranks quick fast and in a hurry if those blogger fools do what they did to Joe the Plumber. Calling people racist because they choose to not vote for you is stupid.

After the feedback I got today to those on ground here in NC. People dont look to kindly on being labeled “racist” and embarrassed just to get the affirmative action vote. Someone probably should of told him and his bots Fayetteville is the home for Fort Bragg. Sometimes it pays to know who your insulting before you do it. Karma’s a bitch Barry. Yep. We may be calling Obama by a new name in the history books:”Barack McGovern Obama”.

I recently read a book on that Case and alot of the same behavior was being displayed by blacks in North Carolina over something that was obviously a lie, but since some people have a problem with affluent whites they ruined several young mens life, and while i may not agree with them hiring a stripper many of Duke’s liberal faculty showed their bigoted behinds. I’m not sure if Whites in North Carolina have gotten over that, so obama needs to chill or it might back fire on him and the black community in north carolina so they need to shut up and vote for obama if that’s what they want to do.

Biden said:

“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

I know what he’s saying — he’s telling the KosKids and HuffPo Bros Befor Ho;s crowd that Obama will reinstate the military draft.

LOL!

I mean how else can he invade Pakistan?

And somewhere Reverend Wright, ex-friend and ex-pastor if the anointed one is saying, “The chickens have come home to roost!”

Yeah, journalists, investigate. We know you don’t do Chicago–maybe too cold? the “I promise a crisis within 6 months because Obama is an ass” bit was frightening yet also funny…

but this bit was pretty disturbing…

Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama.

Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

why exactly if Obama wins will americans be so “unhappy” with The One?

gee… why would that be? and what does Senator Hair Plugs know that we don’t?

are you scared yet?

b. mccain

america first!

I think those two paragraphs have to do with economic promises Obama has made and can’t keep, due to Pelosi/Reid/Blue Dogs insisting on PAYGO.

If Obama wins on 04NOV, Israel will launch against Iran in the window between then and Inauguration Day. Especially after the latest Jesse Jackson comments about Zionists, Israel undoubtedly feels it’ll be now or never. Then all hell breaks loose with three wars and Hello Draft. Gee, Biden seems to have it all figured out, does he? For this “chance” …and “I don’t know what” it is. He’s already sure the voters won’t like the decision Barry will make.

mmhmmm

Is Joe telling us McCain’s and Obama’s transition briefings had some
revelations that we normally would not be made aware of if the running
mate didn’t have such a foot in mouth disease? Or just that he is
confident our enemies will still be standing there strong and ready to
test even the new young Senator from Illinois regardless of his symbolism
that has been marketed to our countries citizens?

I don’t think finding out if Obama can handle an international crisis
AFTER he is placed in the oval office is a reassuring prospect for a
majority of Americans. Maybe this was a good leak, so Americans can
really decide NOW who is best to handle such crisis that may come soon
after the next president has taken office, whether intentional or not,
with their judgement and foreign policy matters and experience. And
having as his running mate, the man telling us this piece of insight,
who was the man that wanted to break up Iraq in to 3 seperate coutnries,
doesn’t make me feel much better.

can u believe this:

newsweek blog: by Andrew Romano: Memo to John Kerry: Don’t Quit Your Day Job
Speaking this afternoon at a business summit in Cambridge, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry complained about the inane questions he fielded from the press during his 2004 presidential bid–and expressed sympathy for this year’s crop of candidates. The target of his ire: “the famous ‘boxers or briefs’ question.” Praising Obama for successfully parrying the inquiry–Kerry confessed that he “was tempted to say commando”–the Bay Stater informed his audience that McCain had encountered some problems: “Then they asked McCain, and McCain said, ‘Depends.’” Hotcha! The crowd, according to PolitickerMA, cracked up.
I mean, I get the joke: McCain is so old that he wears Depends–the best-known brand of adult diapers–to keep from soiling his slacks. Ha. But just as Republicans have cheapened a legitimate line of attack against Obama (that he’s avoided taking a firm stand on some issues) by calling him a shady terrorist sympathizer, so too do Democrats risk diluting their best criticism of McCain (that he can be erratic, impulsive and unreliable) by harping on his age.
Both comments are not only inappropriate; they’re counterproductive. After all, Obama is relying on older white voters–his newest, softest supporters–to propel him to victories in Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio (among other places)…
blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/10/20/memo-to-john-kerry-don-t-quit-your-day-job.aspx

so romano thinks the “joke” is “inappropriate” but has tells us mccain is “erratic, impulsive and unreliable”!!!! WTF!

This is the acknowledgment of the public’s worst fears about Senator Obama. This statement is SHOCKING and FRIGHTENING IN THE EXTREME!

First, the horror that the U.S. could again be attacked or otherwise intentionally provoked because of Senator Obama’s inexperience and naivete.

Second, that a team with so little judgment will be responding to such a crisis.

Third, that Senator Biden is so contemptuous of the public will. In a democracy, it’s important whether policies are “popular” because it indicates whether the people support positions that well from the ground up, or whether they are imperially imposed from the top down.

Finally, that a candidate could be so incompetent to voice such private musings publically. It’s literally mind-blowing, and a game changer if you ask me. I think Senator Obama has no choice but to dismiss Senator Biden immediately. This is the most reckless thing I’ve ever heard any candidate say.

Omigod, motor-mouth Joe Biden is already warning us that leaders of hostile nations (or groups) will be testing Obama within the first six months of Obama’s reign as president.

John F. Kennedy also was “tested” because the Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev felt Kennedy was inexperienced and a weak leader. Khrushchev’s belief that Kennedy was weak led to Khrushchev’s decision to erect the Berlin Wall, on August 13, 1961, thus physically dividing East and West Berlin for the next 28 years.

President Kennedy had acknowledged in a speech a few weeks earlier, on July 25, 1961, that the United States could hope to defend ONLY West Berliners and West Germans … that any attempt to stand up for East Germans would result only in an embarrassing downfall. A few months after the the first stage of the Berlin Wall (barbed wire) was erected, the Kennedy administration informed the Soviet government that it ACCEPTED the Berlin Wall as “a fact of international life” and WOULD NOT CHALLENGE it by force.

So what do you suppose Biden is preparing us to ACCEPT?

It seems to me Biden is making a case for electing someone the hostile world leaders would NOT feel free to test.

They would not have felt comfortable testing Hillary Clinton. They know she is tough.

And they would not feel comfortable testing John McCain, who they know would hit back.

But, Obama would dither, make excuses for being unable or unwilling to function, would call the hostile foreign leaders “racists” (which will bounce off them like water off a duck) and would then WHINE that he is being treated unfairly by Fox News.

Heaven help us all.

Other than none of that making any sense, I can see that whatever decision they have already made, that most of us will disagree, even the ‘Bots. What Biden’s asking the loyal followers to do is go into the community and show solidarity with Obama about a choice which Directly affects the citizenry.
I would bet that it has to do with the African Reparations Project and the subsequent turnover of all U.S. Military control to the U.N.

According to Rasmussen

OHIO:

McCain: 49
obama: 47

FLORIDA:

McCain: 49 (last week, McCain was at 46 in Florida)
obama: 48 (last week, obama was at 51 in Florida)

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ…ntial_election

Now Rasmussen is pro obama so I’m thinking that Florida is going more to McCain then just 1 point. Cubans in the Miami area are NOT voting for Obama, once Obama opened his trap about “Spreading the wealth” around, they knew Obama was Castro
Now as far as Ohio is concerned, wouldn’t it be AMAZING after all the voter fraud that went on in Ohio for McCain to win there

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

This is key. If Biden thought he was saying something flattering that can only be said about Obama, then why would he say this at the end before he stopped his insane rant. He said it as he REALIZED the press was in the room. Didn’t he know they were going to be there?

Comment by bemused | 2008-10-20 17:23:19

First of all, he’s predicting a crisis. No, he’s not predicting one, he’s basically guaranteeing one. Have the Dems rigged some crisis so Obumble can come to the rescue?

After rigging the nomination and the convention, very little would surprise me. But how calloused would that truly make them?

And, if there is a major crisis looming on the horizon that’s so horrific, what makes Obumble the right man for the job? The fact that he takes no stance that can be relied upon or the fact that he is willing to say anything to anybody?

Obumble is really the Democratic reincarnation of Georgie W., but I’m sure he’ll want to appear different. Maybe he will be reading My Pet Pig when the crisis comes.

But isn’t the crisis here already in the form of the housing market collapse? And isn’t Herr Bumble in the thick of it? Sure, let’s give Dodd, Kerry and Obumble the reins since they’ve driven the horse into the pond already.

Why did the Reichstag burn? But this “generated crisis” could be much worse, and the first domino in the line falls. The next domino is what scares me: the creation of a private national security force answerable to the executive branch–in the interest of “national security” of course. Wiretaps and strict control of the internet will be necessary (the MSM are already in the bag). Of course, this might be hard to pull off unless both houses of congress are in the bag–whoops, they will be. And it might be hard to pull off unless The Leader is a very charismatic radiant-haloed figure who can charm you into disbelieving your lying eyes.

I think it’s almost time for a long winter’s nap, and I hope I am not awakened by the sounds of someone kicking in the front door.

Of course, according to Joe Running Mouth (his Cherokee name), we don’t know how Obama will respond to an international crisis, except that it will probably look wrong before everybody figures out they were really right.

However, we do know how Obama responded to 9/11 (thanks, Joe Wilson for throwing that into the mix, rightfully so).

Consider the future CIC’s response to those events, or at least what he says was his response:

The story began when a reporter noticed that Barack Obama was no longer wearing an American flag pin and asked about it. Obama replied, “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest; instead I’m gonna try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism.”

The Iraq war did not begin until March of 2003, 18 months later. So it seems unlikely that many pin wearers began their symbolic display to support a war that hadn’t yet begun.

Well, Joe Running Mouth was right about one thing. Obama’s choice definitely looks wrong. Only problem is, it still does.

When do we get the punch line?

Comment by street_parade | 2008-10-20 17:43:55

Both McCain and Obama got a security briefing last week. Looks like Joe ‘can’t keep his mouth shut’ Biden has let the cat out of the bag AND has given an accurate assessment of what BO’s deer-in-the-headlights response will be. BO’s not nicknamed Bambi for nothing.

BO will be rolled like a drunk by any number of foreign leaders, both friend and foe. My bet is that Israel will not let Iran move forward with their ‘peacful’ nuclear program too much longer. Of course, with BO elected he’ll just ask the Iranians nicely to stop and of course they will.

Is it any wonder why Iran, Russia, Hamas, Hezbollah, Venezuela, Cuba…are pulling for BO.

An Obama administration will ALLOW a terrorist attack against this beloved country, the have to implement all the FISA anti-democracy measures in order to keep THE ONE in office while he finishes off our freedoms.

Pledge of allegiance is banned. In Allah we trust is placed on all bills.

Since this will cause a little bit of anxiety or indeed a civil war, Obama and Joe wants all you Kool-Aid connoiseurs to stand up and defend The One, nay, The Brilliant One against the hordes of sanity.

Comment by HC | 2008-10-20 17:55:29

My family has done the same, although I was the only one in my generation to so do. I think it is an excellent idea. The one thing it would do, above all else, is drive home the idea that wars are not to be entered to lightly. It would also separate the true patriots from the chickenhawks in a New York nanosecond.

Comment by oowawa | 2008-10-20 21:26:54

In itself, a draft might be a good idea. It might drive some of the arrogance from the hip-hop generation. What worries me is the prospect of a draft that provides options for service, some of those options perhaps being service in Acorn, or service in a private military organization. Right now it’s just science fiction, and I hope it stays that way.

I think this is right. They (both candidiates) were just briefed last week with new info.. Biden can not resist the urge in front of influential donors to sound like he knows the inside sccop. My guess is they got new info. on Isreal and Iran. I think they have info. that if Obama gets elected, things will happen. Isreal will act more unilaterally (not trusting Obama) and Iran will test Obama in ways they would have never tested McCain in regards to Israel.

I think Biden is warning the liberal faithful that Obama will have to react with force, and it won’t be popular with their liberal supporters…especially those who see anything we do in defense of Isreal as “being in their pocket” and anti-Arab by nature. He’s warning them to hold their opinions in check and not tank the administration’s favorability numbers when this happens.

A) A US government plot which will be 911-like, with Bush claiming a state of emergency thus suspending and postponing the election and self imposing his dictatorship.
B) Another stolen election.
C) Some other huge upset like the stock market collapse.
D) An assassination.
E) All of the above.
This major event will be the catalyst for our government to instate military personnel for martial law. The ball is in motion, I clearly see that riots are already expected surrounding the elections. I have predicted Martial Law being enforced in the US since 2002 now look at the PROOF that it’s coming: LINK VIDEO ORDERS
-Hilary (for all of those that keep emailing)
She cut a deal with the shadow government; I still see her in play for the postponed election.

I have to comment on the 911 video for this article. As much as I think Bush is an idiot, I think he did the exact right thing at that elementary school. What the heck was he supposed to do? Go running down the hallway waving his hands and freaking out? No. Its not like he was on a tennis court or eating lunch at the club. He was in front of a group of children, probably the biggest moment in many of their lives (meeting the president). He knew he would only be there for about 5 minutes. He knew that he had relatively competent people in government doing their jobs.

As for him going in after the first plane but not the second, it could have been an accident. He was waiting for more info. Planes flying into large buildings are nothing new. I know when I first heard about it, I was like, yeah, right some single engine plane got off course (okay, I had a newborn and was nursing & it took me awhile to get to a tv…just as the second plane was hitting).

Anyway, I’ve seen this clip many times and I think he handled it very very well…considering he was in a state of disbelief. He didn’t want to upset the kids & its not like he could have whipped out a cape and flown into the clouds and stopped any further attacks. I also thing he was right on about invading Afghanistan.

Everything else he did in office was utter idiocy.

I agree, if one of my kids or grandkids would have been in that class I think I would have been glad he did what he did.

On another note …. Did you hear what John Kerry said?

[snip]

“I don’t know if any of you know what it’s like. I do, obviously,” Kerry told the crowd. “I’ve been asked all of those brilliant questions that were repeated this year…Barack got asked the famous boxers or briefs question. I was tempted to say commando…

“Then they asked McCain and McCain said, ‘Depends,’” Kerry said.

Kerry is just bitter cuz he couldn’t seal the deal.

I love it with the sexist and ageist jokes. Can someone remind me again why its wrong to make racist jokes, but okay to make sexist and ageist jokes?

I try to figure out how exactly was it that John Kerry was our nominee?

Small planes have hit buildings before; but jetliners do not crash into buildings that have major importance worldwide. Also, the World Trade Center had been bombed before. When Bush was told an airliner crashed into the first one, he should have had an aide excuse them from appearing and rushed back to his jet to find out what was happening & what he needed to do. It was not more important, at that critical time, for Bush to worry about what a class of kids would think if he didn’t make his scheduled visit with them.

If you can give me an example of a single thing he could have done in that 5 minutes that wasn’t already done by his staff, I’ll cede this point to you. One thing. Anything? I don’t believe any president would have done anything differently at that moment. Not Bill, not Hillary, not McCain. As for O’blahblah? Yes, I think he would have done something differently. I think he would have been The One to run down the halls flailing his arms in a panic.

Lisa, you needn’t take offense…I like both yours & 30 year dems comments very much. I just don’t agree with you on this one. At the time of 9/11, my youngest was in kindergarten & my oldest was in high school. I wouldn’t have cared if the Prez missed an appt that day. Although he couldn’t have stopped the second plane, he could have appeared to be more “commanderly”, and been getting more info from the military & intelligence services.
