The evolution of the commentary on this blog has been oh so…how shall I say…interesting.

The issue is this deep polarization. Hillary must abandon her promise, or people are mad.

It’s a ridiculous proposition for anyone who actually values one’s word.

She promised to “work her heart out.”

I heard her. I believed her. She’s doing it.

It doesn’t bother me at all. The fact that Bill didn’t promise and made his own feelings clear is quite enough for me.

First of all she does NOT have the kind of “money” that would let her keep ANY power in Washington to do the kind of work she needs to do long term if she breaks her word,and tries to take on George friggin Soros!! She also CANNOT turn her back on the people of New York who elected her as their Senator to do the work she is hired to do. The week after she suspended her campaign she was in upstate New York wandering around with farmers out in their fields to see what she could do to help them because they were financially hurting due to crop damage. According to her senate site she’s done a hell of a lot more than support the SELECTED nominee.

Now I’m sorry you can throw out thirty five years of standing up for women and children and everything ELSE she’s done all because you don’t “like” what she has to do now and yes she DOES HAVE TO DO IT. If she does not, that would be IT for her career and IT for anything else she could do for anyone long term. Is she supposed to carry this all FOR you?

I appreciate all the hard work of the authors but, it’s been overly infiltrated by bots and right wing people who did NOT have to go through this for nearly two years. I’m sick a fucking tired of the women bashing and most especially sickened to see it on a site such as this one. No one on this site who hasn’t done nearly what Hillary Clinton has done for people like me all her life is fit to call her sewage. That’s disgusting.

And don’t you DARE condescend to me and tell me to “repeat” after you. You repeat after me “Calling any woman “sewage” is repugnant.” “Calling any woman “sewage” is repugnant” Also, I’d like to know what you’ve done all your life the last thirty five years as opposed to Hillary Clinton that give you the right to judge her so harshly?

I cried when I watched it, honestly. I couldn’t get it out of my head for DAYS. Very haunting, and shocking, that this is what the DNC has become.

And JohninCA, I specifically mention the Civil Rights worker – that was gut/heart wrenching…
