If You Don’t Think Bill Ayers Can’t Wait To Get His Talons Into Our National Education System…
By Uppity Woman on October 23, 2008 at 11:45 AM in Annenberg Chicago Challenge, Barack Obama, Bill Ayers, CAC, Education, Weather Underground, William Ayers
As you probably already know, The University of Nebraska-Lincoln cancelled a speaking engagement with Bill Ayers, ironically citing “security concerns”. Imagine the guy who scared the crap out of America for years with his bombs having to worry about “security”. What karma!
First, when he was booked, they had this to say:
“We are pleased to offer this opportunity for our students and faculty to hear a nationally acclaimed scholar, researcher and advocate for children and urban education reform,” said Marjorie Kostelnik, dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences last week, before the furor over Ayers’ scheduled appearance at UNL surfaced.
Later, they had this to say:
“In this instance, it is unfortunate that a lecture directed toward an academic subject has become implicated in a political campaign,” the chancellor said. “Nothing in his presence suggests that the university supports his personal or political philosophy or condones any of his former conduct.”
They must have heard the recently found 2002 audio of Ayers’ radio interview where he says In Your Face, “I am an Anarchist and a Marxist”.
Cool! That’s exactly what America needs helping out with education of our young ones. Because you see, the only difference between Bill Ayers Then and Now is he looks showered, his hair is shorter and his back hurts. But that’s small stuff when you can get your paws on a whole new generation of young people to do your grunt work for you. Why, I bet they could all lobs bombs almost as well as Bill did!
This is the same guy Barack Obama says he thought was “Rehabilitated”. That was right after he said he “didn’t know” Ayers was a terrorist. That was after he said Ayers was “Just a guy”. Odd, that. But not odd for Barack Obama, right?
Back in May, I wrote a piece called Bill Ayers and the Subversion of Education. He’s been working very hard at the indoctrination of Children into his Marxist/Anarchist philosophy folks. The photo to the left above is a photo of his deranged office door in May 2008. I wonder what was on his office door when Barack Obama shared his office with him for three years……?
What I liked about this particular article on the Nebraska problem was the laundry list of things Ayers has written. I want you to know that this guy is already influencing educators with his radical ideas to “radicalize” students, including pre-school. that’s the ticket! Get em young, make them GOOD Marxists and anarchists! Imagine what he could do as a hidden Director of Education to a White House buddy and sympathizer.
Here’s the list, with some very amusing titles. Busy boy.

Notice his piece ”Hot Town: Summer in the City“? No it wasn’t Joe Cocker. It was Lovin’ Spoonful back when Bill’s back didn’t hurt. It reminded me that there were plenty of songs in that day that slime balls could use for titles. I somehow don’t see Muthafucka Ho Killin’ Rap fitting in place of this, do you?
Gee, don’t you want some of what these guys were on? I bet Bill had some.

From my blog, Uppity Woman.

I posted this earlier, but for those who have not seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvcuEqGUwmc
This video was apparently a part of a French documentary and was recently released. The last 45 seconds are really touching. John McCain seems like a truly decent human being who has suffered a lot for his country. I’m not sure how anyone can support Obama, with his limited experience and his “me first” mentality.
Too funny… decent man eh? Guess it’s easier to ignore his own words:
“I didn’t decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if
it were some grand act of patriotism. In truth I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to be president. I was sixty two years old
when I made the decision and I thought it was my one shot at the prize”

The thought of Bill Ayers having access to the White House physically makes me sick.
Imagine Rev. Wright leading prayers at the White House, and influencing black-white divisive policies (sickening)
Just think of all the Nation of Islam people Obama is going to appoint. He already has them working in his Senate office.
yawn
I disagree with you, uppity woman. Considering his past, I’m more worried that Ayers will be appointed as head of homeland security.
Is it just me, but everytime BO gives a speech the Market goes down.
Trust me, it’s just you.
you come here and trash us so let me ask you a question .define 2 things communism and reeducation camps.if you cant then go away.oh please dont tell me its not revelant just look up what ayers and the rest of the loons wanted to do if they took power.still dont beleive it ,just look at cambodia and vietnam and both regimes reeducation efforts.i do beleive that they called the one in cambodia the killing fields.
No, it’s not just you. We have watched it happen every time–you can watch the trailer at the bottom of the screen go down.
You’ve got it reversed: every time the market goes down, Barack’s numbers go up.
Sorry, but I don’t trust you….Please wipe your feet before you come in.
After wading through this site, good advice.
dumb troll. lol

go to sleep, child.
NYTimes reports losses — “September revenue fell 8 percent and news media group ad revenue fell 14 percent because of weak print advertising. Digital ad revenue, usually a bright spot for newspaper publisher, is slowing because of a drop in display advertising, Robinson said.”
maybe they’ll figure out that becoming a trash-machine loses them readers.
O/T Anyone have any verification on Andy Martin’s assertion about Frank Marshall Davis?

There is a correlation between the polls with Obama ahead and the markets.
No one wants a socialist government.
Every time the socialist agenda via Obama gets mentioned, people pull their investments and the market goes down.
Lesson learned: Go ahead and vote for Barky if you want to lose your retirement. Or never have one in the first place since you’ll always be working for Barky – he’s gonna pay you to be on welfare and take away your future.
OT
Hi all,
Just saw this at BO web site. Is this new or did I just miss it before?
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
Read this Article
They have basically stated that he is he is a Kenyan. He would not be a natural born citizen but a Naturalized citizen. Dont know how I missed this.
Since his father was a Kenyan national, he most likely retained Kenyan citizenship right up until his 18th Birthday (I’ll do the math for you: 1982-1964=18). Pretty typical and of no consequence.
Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. It was wierd that it was posted there. I also looked up the reference on the following nationality act:
Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
reference:http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate
It amazes me that anyone would just read this and not question it. They are trying to justify that he is a US citizen based on an old British Nationality act that has absolutly nothing to do with him being a US citizen. He would either be Kenyan or British the way I see it. Neither allows him to attain the crown here in the US.
Thanks for the response and allowing me to ramble.
The people of Kenya will point out the hospital that Obama was born in.
What a darn shame they killed Timothy McVeigh!
The only difference between Tim and Bill is that Bill’s Daddy was rich, Bill had more schooling…….and Tim’s bomb was successful,
No problem……
Tim was a “domestic terrorist”
but
Bil is Obama’s BFF and maybe even the new Education Czar!
Cool, huh!
excuse me while I go vomit
Sarah is speaking and the market is now positive. Thanks Buzz for dealing with Dumb Dumb. Maybe BO will stay in Hawaii trying to dump his Vault inside Kilauea.
The fact that this is even a threat is a testimony for my Conservative beliefs..
Primarily my view of Federalism. The Constitution only empowered Congress to do very limited and enumerated things. Not among them is setting education policy.
The 10th Amendment clearly states that the States have the power over just about everything that the Constitution didn’t explicitly give to the Federal Govt exclusively or deny to the States.
Every State would be free from harmful (and potentially beneficial) interference of a remote and unaccountable Federal Govt.
There shouldn’t even be a Federal Dept of Education.. then we wouldn’t have to worry about Marxists being in control of it. if they aren’t already are.

So, what was Barack Obama up to when he ran former Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers’ “education reform” foundation?
Not much good – at least according to the guy in charge of Chicago’s public schools while he was there.

oh yeah…
if one is an un-repentant terrorist… does it sound a bit silly to say ‘former’ terrorsit? shouldn’t Bill Ayers be called a plain old terrorist? there is nothing ‘former; about his views and he wishes he bombed more….

“There was a total lack of accountability” at Obama and Ayers’ Chicago Annenberg Challenge, former city school superintendent Paul Vallas has told The Post. Indeed, “If you went back and asked, you’d be hard-pressed to find out how the money was spent.”
This is what I think should be emphasized about the Ayers/Obama link, not the stuff from the 60’s and 70’s. People “get” irresponsible management and squandering of funds. When Obama ran for Congress in 2000, he specifically mentioned his experience in chairing the CAC as a qualification.
I still cannot believe that this Ayers thing didn’t stick to Obama.
Oh it is sticking and stinking. Many people are talking about it. MSM refuses to highlight it.
Not sure if this Bill Ayers tidbit has been posted -

But hey, like they say – just a guy in the neighborhood.
Another gem on Bill Ayers. nObama’s friends suck.

Oh good one Uppity. Last night there was a cartoon on PBS about 1968 and the yippies.
All I could think was these ?’s are still trying to live out a political agenda of their very own…
hugs, and great piece — yeah Malcolm X. It’s just soooooooooo all about that, no?
It amazes me that Ayers is not in prison or deported. Maybe they thought it would be better to watch him in plain sight…er…I hope someone is watching him besides us…
Go to Chicago Radio http://www.wbbm.com Lead story (at noon it was lead story. It has been moved lower on the screen)is “Gay high school” postponed.
Then google Gay High School, Bill Ayers.
Plenty to read but I will suggest RevolutionRadio.org
Read the whole thing. This is way more than teaching kindergardeners about inapropriate touching.
Wow, a bibliography. Incriminating.
So uppity, please explain how it is that Ayers was able to fool the Annenbergs and all the conservatives who also served on the committee with him all those years?
I wish Fox and other non-Bobo media had talked more about Afrocentrism, which encompasses the belief that all the great thinkers of history, like Socrates, were black. The slave trade is blamed completely on whites, particulary Jews. It teaches that history is completely false in giving any credit to Europeans and accuses Western civilization of being a completely made-up concept, that whites have been lying to blacks all these years about who is “superior”. You would think that almost no one, including most black people, would buy such bilge–and they almost certainly don’t. But if kids in Chicago are taught this from kindergarten and they have parents so ignorant that they don’t know who’s running with Barack, well…If I were black, I’d want everyone to judge me by the content of my character. To assume that I want to believe lies about my ethnicity and to pretend that it’s just part of being of African heritage to have preachers like Wright is absolutely demeaning–and racist.
Bill Ayers will be Obama’s Secretary of Education, and with a fillibuster-proof Senate, there will be nothing that anyone can do about it. As Secretary, Ayers will withhold all Federal funding of schools that allow the Pledge of Allegiance to be said on campus, and with take down classroom flags and make them doormats.
Yes, this sounds crazy now. If Obama is elected, talk to me in two years and we’ll see how crazy it is.
It sounds crazy now, yesterday, next week, or two years from now. It’s fully, genuinely crazy.
Wingnut is a renewable resource
The trolls are out in force today (after I read the above comments). Slow Barack News Day for you trolls?
The first step of converting a nation to Communism is to infiltrated and demoralize a complete generation. I think we are to late to prevent it from happening. But we can halt it in its tracks and start trying to reverse it. Past this in and Watch this mind blowing video from 1985 outlining by a soviet defector the ideological subversion steps 1-4 to change a nation to communisim.

Don’t have time to wade throught he comments. Re:
“In this instance, it is unfortunate that a lecture directed toward an academic subject has become implicated in a political campaign,” the chancellor said. “Nothing in his presence suggests that the university supports his personal or political philosophy or condones any of his former conduct.”
I am a retired teacher who first taught when public schools did still have an academic agenda. You know, teach language skills, teach math skills, teach science, teach history, etc.
The education departments of our universities are travesties, they are the least truly academic of the many departments at a university. This teach the kids stuff is so much crap.
English lesson: “Students” are not, in my way of thinking, eligible to be direct objects of the verb “to teach.” “Students” can be an indirect object that receives the direct object. You can not teach students. (Just try giving a lecture on the topic “students.”) You can teach students English, for example.
Most education departments are made up of the least intelligent, most fuzzy-brained people I know, with all their little social improvement theories about how schools should solve the world’s problems. They like to view themselves as saviours of the world.
Schools should provide students some skills and knowledge so they can solve the problems themselves.
I hated when my own kids got a young teacher who would just gush and gush about how she just “loved” kids and wanted to teach for that reason. I would tell them this: I love my kids enough. I want you to love the subject you are teaching so much that your love for the subject will help my kid learn it. Concentrate on knowing the subject you are supposed to teach. I’ll concentrate on loving my child.
I cringed so often at the younger teachers in my field whose lack of knowledge about the subject just saddened me to no end. By the time I taught as an adjunct at local universities, I realized I was teaching nothing harder than I taught ninth graders the first year I taught in ‘70.
Got to quit ranting, but Ayers’ work in “education” almost makes me angrier than his escapades as an anarchist.

Increasing Racial Tension In Middle School as Election Turns Ugly
Over the past month I´ve seen a disturbing pattern taking place in my children´s middle school. We live in the outlying suburbs of Tampa Fl. The demographics here are middle to upper middle class divided fairly equal between different races and cultures. Race had never been an issue in the area we live. I had considered it a very progressive and forward thinking area. But over the past few weeks my child has come home with disturbing tales of increasing racism . My son has been called racist slurs such as cracker and whitey by a a black 6th grade boy. On another occasion my 12 year old son was called a F******* Racist for not loaning a black child a pencil. He has been told by the same black child that if my son lived in his neighborhood he would be dead! In addition to all this Children have been writing Go Bamako and Obama Rules on their Arms with Magic Markers. This week there were white and black children handing out handmade index cards some saying McCain Sucks and some saying Obama Rules. I find this disturbing mostly because it seems that the teachers are not doing anything about it. I really don´t know what to do about any of it. I worry about my kids going to school if things get much worse.
