Race Card.
It is now decreed that calling Barack Obama’s plans “Socialist” is Racist. He said it’s a racist “Code Word”.
No kidding. You can’t make this shit up.
McCain and Palin should be ”Ashamed of themselves”. In other words: Just shut up Or You are Gonna Get The Race Card!
Let’s see, now. At this point, the only “racist” thing left for McCain and Palin to do is: Inhale and Exhale.

Seriously, I think using the term socialist is misleading. There are a lot of countries like Finland that are democratic socialist countries. The people there vote to have higher taxes so that they can have better education, health care, etc. Americans may not want to choose this kind of social organization but it is hardly radical. Public education is a socialized system and no one thinks that is radical! Finland has had the best economy in the world in recent years and has a very high standard of living. I do not find it threatening or radical in any way that they choose this form of government.
The problem with Ayers and his ilk is that they are marxist/anarchists both of which are truly radical ideologies. (Although I have a problem distinguishing between strong libertarians – which I also find loony – and anarchists. Anyone know the difference?)
I agree, but in America the extreme notion of what socialism can be is the accepted definition by the masses. “Conservative” and “liberal” are commonly seen as bad by the opposing sides and probably moderates as well. I find good ideas on both “sides.” I hope you see my point.

Maybe that was what Joe Biden was referring to…there are so many secret plans on Obama and Friends Agenda, there is no telling what Biden was referring to, but the implementation of Socialism might have been the referance.
Please stop trying to reassure us about all the successful Socialist models available, we are who we are. If a small portion of our political structure wants to be Socialist, they should look into relocation…or maybe they can just isolate it to Chicago, with Hyde Park being their version of Washington D.C.

My point was about awareness of a real problem in this country. This election has been rife with overt woman-hatred. People keep talking about racism, but mostly people have tred very lightly when it comes to race.

I agree to a point. Unfortunately, although there are many of us women who do not want to be seen as sexual creatures publically, there is strong evidence that many women do not share that desire. You will get a good chance to judge that next weekend when you look at the Halloween costumes being chosen by girls…not women…girls. We had twelve year olds at our house last year in “sexy Dorothy” and “Naughty Schoolgirl” costumes.

I sent the link in an email to Bill O’Reilly last night. I asked him to consider this guy for his Pinheads and Patriots. It’s a twofer, the Military Personnel trying to send home their votes are the Patriots, and the guy blocking their efforts is a Pinhead.
I am sure O’Reilly gets tons of email every day, so if you have time, please send another one to him and remind him that if we don’t call attention to what is going on, we are engaging in the worst kind of Socialism, I feel, we are denying the votes of the people who pay the highest of price for our security, and we are taking their right to vote and giving it (redistributing) it to people who will use it fraudulently to steal an election. It has only been fairly recently that active duty military could vote.
Most or nearly all states has some sort of law to keep military and their dependents from voting.
I know because my father was career military and it wasn’t until he retired from the military that he was able to vote. For my family the vote is very important.
For these military votes to be tossed out seems criminal and un-American to me.
My dh was in the USAF from 1985 until 2005 & he voted every election. He voted absentee ballot; he was registered in Nevada. As a dependent, when we were overseas, I also voted absentee ballot.
I’m outraged that these ballots will not be counted.

Apparently not only the National Pollsters, but also the State Pollsters are wildly distorting the weighting towards Obama — for no discernible legitimate reason…other than to psyche out McCain/Palin voters.
Now go back to wizbang, click on DJ Drummond and read all of his earlier columns….very eye-opening about how and why polls are being distorted to discourage anyone not supporting Obama.
I have told all my friends, even if they are Obama supporters that it is Very important to vote this year.
I have many friends that are Very discouraged with the election this year and say they dont even want to vote. Since many of these friends think that Obama is really weird, I have especially encouraged them to think twice about not voting. Everyone needs to vote this year. This is probably one of the most important years ever to vote.
What I do fear is that the biased media just might try and put in early election results on election day. I wouldnt put it past them to start declaring Obama a winner even before many parts of the country start voting.
There is one way to counter that…damned sure know Obama would do it in a heartbeat…
preemptively advertise to the Midwest and Western (hell, make it all 50) states that the MSM will call the Election earlier than the actual results are tallied…they will do it based on some ridiculously low % of votes that are in,(perhaps just based on the early voting alone) but that they are not the people who can make that call a fact.
The MSM is working with Obama, and for Obama, to discourage would be McCain supportors from voting, by making them think their votes are useless. Get on it GOP 527’s, these are the ads that need to go out.
VOTE even if they tell you the Election is over- and they call him the winner…VOTE! Don’t let anybody discourage or stop you from voting until they lock ther doors at the legally designated time in your state.

While everyone focused on the IBD/TIPP poll narrowing to 1.1 points they overlooked the most significant thing – 12% undecided. That’s an increase. That means that even as the number for Obama fell and the number for McCain rose, there are many more who were obviously soft on Obama moving to undecided, which means likely moving to McCain in the coming days.
I’ve been saying it for a long time. When the election gets close people stop thinking about the image and the hoopla, take a gut check, and start thinking about character. America has flirted with Obama, but is marrying McCain.
Got my nails done yesterday and talked to two older gals..and they were both seriously undecided..and I told them I am a former elected dem delegate..and I told them I voted for Mccain..the first time i have voted republican in my life..but I told them I have been a flight crew for one of the 9/11 airlines..and that I had to vote for national security..and that “THE ONE” IS NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME .. On the subject of racism, last night on local
news Channel 2 in Baltimore a reporter was interviewing African American voters in the city.
The subject was what would happen if Obama lost.
The reponse was that they wouldn’t approve, but there might well be riots. The anchor then went on to say Police presence would be increased on election night all over the city. I was surprised that a story like this was aired, but the idea that African Americans would riot unless the black candidate won certainly suggests that racism is not the sole provence of the white voter.
