Then, for no apparent good reason, in June Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosis decided THEY, not the delegates chosen by the electorate and not the superdelegates appointed via proper party procedure, were going to decide who would represent the top of the ticket for the general election. Now that same leadership wants YOU to legitimize their undemocratic and unprincipled methods by putting their selected candidate into the White House on November 4.
But WE can say no to the subversion of democratic principles within the Democratic Party. We can say no with our votes and by urging our fellow Democrats to pay attention to the particulars of the candidate Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi selected to represent the Democratic Party.

I’m not sure what good it does to turn the TV off. Those of us with DVRs will be recording favorite shows. If there are metered rating services at play, it would seem to me to be better to be shown as watching something else! JMHO
The major networks are moving all regular programing back 30 minutes for the Messiah’s speech. Even the world series gets pushed back. Reset your DVR.

Patently false, Andrew. I heard O’Reilly for just five minutes last week, and what I heard him say was that “Obama is a weasel.”
O’Reilly is just a bit obsessed with his image as being extreme right-wing, so he is trying to prove he is “fair and balanced” during this period of high viewership. Gov. Linda Lingle of Hawaii has put Obama’s BC under seal so that NO ONE can have access to it until after the election.
Could it be that it is not unlawful/illegal to run for the office of President if you do not meet the requirements?
I think this could be the reason behind the judge’s no standing ruling. Maybe we dont have a right to know Obama’s birthplace or nationality unless he wins the election.

So if Obama is elected and it turns out he is not elligible under the Constitution to be President, then what?? Does he go to the Surpreme Court and say “I was elected President by the people of American; are you going to now tell the people it is not their right to elect me?” Since this was Obama area of expertise, I have a feeling that he proably already has his case ready.
Does anyone think there could be any merit to this.

I have read this same idea elsewhere, and I think the “constitutional law professor” who thinks he is smarter than everyone probably already has his legal team in place for this.

The audio recording of Barack Obama espousing his socialist philosophy of “redistribution of wealth” is all over the Internet and Fox News today (although most other media outlets are ignoring it), but there’s another disturbing section on that tape that has so far escaped notice.
At about 15:30, Obama compares what was going on in the United States during the time of Brown vs. the Board of Education to … Nazi Germany. Yes, really. Here’s the quote:

So is the theory that we’re not damaged until after he wins? That’s assinine (sp?). From what I read somewhere I think it said that Congress can override certain things so if they have a majority they can help shoo him in. Uggh that or Biden could become President (which is just as bad)?
Maybe Bush will pull out his Exec Order 51 and continue on until this is resolved?

Anyone know anything about the Governor of Hawaii? Didn’t she speak for Sarah Palin at the Repub Convention? Why is everyone (her, Kenyan govt, Indonesian govt) sealing Obama’s records and why doesn’t anyone but us seem to care? Something sinister is afoot.

Cavalry trip to Nevada
It’s 1:00AM and I just got dropped off from my trip to Clark County Nevada, to assist the McCain campaign in Nevada.
My friend and neighbor Diane agreed to give me a ride and we left at 4:30 AM Saturday morning to Torrance. She picked me up with her dog Lola ( a Chihuahua dressed in her own little fur coat), and dropped me off in Torrance. I and 25 other volunteers boarded a bus and went to Burbank. We picked up another 30 McCaniacs there and proceeded to Las Vegas. We made calls on our cell phones to get out the vote on the way, and when we arrived at McCain HQ in Henderson we were greeted by Dennis Miller! He thanked us for our efforts, and after a BBQ we were dispatched in vans to different neighborhoods with booklets containing maps and addresses. My assigned partner and I, Gerri walked 120 doors that day. We were picked up in the afternoon and taken back to HQ and the Hilton.
The next morning we were taken to Boulder City, and we walked another 80.
I have to say the most redeeming part of this whole exercise was when people we inquired on would shake my hand, look me in the eye and personally thank me for my efforts.
This election is far from over!
My second most redeeming moment was when my friend Heidi called and offered me a ride home on Sunday. My feet were tired and it was hot, but I felt I needed to continue in my efforts. When I lamented to Gerri that I had just turned down a four hour drive with one of my favoritest people on the planet, she replied “Your reward will be in heaven”.
I responded: “ I know Heidi will be there, I just hope I make the cut”!
We ended up knocking 10,000 doors on Saturday (collectively) and doubling it Sunday.
I’m going back next weekend. They are sending 4 buses from Cali and I know I am accomplishing much more than my 1 vote in California ever could!
