Real Democrats Will Tour Eastern Ohio and Southern and Western PA

Paulie Abeles of Real Democrats USA wants to thank No Quarter for the large and small contributions we submitted to her organization. Thirty volunteers from states across the country participated in their caravan across southern Ohio during the weekend of the sixteenth. They canvassed, and they distributed fliers and signs to voters in counties that voted heavily for Hillary Clinton during the primary. Media outlets also reported on the Real Democrats’ efforts to deliver the state of Ohio to John McCain. View the photographs of Real Democrats in action below the fold.

Because their caravan across southern Ohio was a success, Real Democrats intends to tour eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and southern Pennsylvania. I quote Paulie Abeles:

Our next bus tour will be next weekend—
We plan to hit the road Friday morning, October 31st and continue until—yup, you guessed it—Tuesday, November 4th.
Right now, we anticipate traveling through Eastern Ohio, Western and Southern PA.

If you desire to join Paulie and her group for a weekend of campaigning in the critically important region of eastern Ohio and western PA for one day, two days or for the entire five day period, please contact Paulie at pabeles@realdemocratsUSA.org. The more volunteers there are, the more effective the group will be.

Also please consider contributing large or small donations to the Real Democrats if you cannot attend. The group requires funds for gas and for fliers to be distributed to Hillary Clinton Democrats and other voters in Ohio and Pennsylvania who will determine the outcome of the Presidential race. They have almost reached their goal, and they are asking No Quarter for just one more round of large and small donations.

I voted for McCain/Palin as well! First time to cast a republican vote. Attended a Palin rally here in Ohio yesterday(Lakewood). Lakewood is one of the most progressive areas of Cleveland -and the turn out was great!

I was hoping to connect with anyone who is affiliated with PUMA’s or Democrats for McCain in the Northeast, Ohio area. I live in Cleveland, but am willing to travel a bit!

Volunteered some today for the McCain Victory office, very nice folks - but thought it would be great to share election eve with PUMA’s or dems.

I would appreciate any info.

Thanks so much!
Kailyne

Obama is becoming over exposed.
Not only is the media shoving him down our throats
(CNN says his name every other sentence), we’re getting
that 30 minute speech.

I have to hand it to McCain for keeping his word about
campaign spending.
He’s starting to look like the underdog. And Americans
love a Rocky.

Amen.

And thank you, Truthteller, for sharing this. These pictures are great as well. How wonderful of these folks to be so dedicated and donate so much of their time.

OT, but did anyone watch the Obama infomercial tonight? And if anyone did, could they answer a few questions?

1. Do I get a set of Shamwows if I vote for Obama?
2. Did Obama tell us where we pick up our ponies after the election?
3. Do I only have thirty minutes to call, and are operators standing by?
4. Who was the Emcee, Billy Mays or Ron Popeil?

Comment by Sarracuda | 2008-10-29 20:35:38

Nope, didn’t watch it, never would have watched it. Listening to his voice makes get massive diarrhea so why bother. Plus, we got World Series baseball and basketball on :-)

Comment by standard | 2008-10-29 20:43:35

His voice disturbs me that way W’s did after the 2000 coup.

I watched it. He was basically trying to connect with working Americans. Presented Jane the teacher for children with special needs. Or something like that. And some guy having trouble paying 24.58 for dinner (or whatever it was he was buying).

Really, it was just nonsense like this trying to show that Obama has a connection with these people, yet it came off really bad. Then they showed his speech from yesterday and it was over. Even his informercials have no substance.

The best part was when Biden exclaimed the he couldn’t believe that Obama actually spoke up against Iran getting nuclear weapons. Again, we’re not told the exact details about what Obama said or what about Iran he wanted something done. Bet seeing Biden saying he said something to Dodd about it made me laugh. The three subprime amigos together at last.

yes, and it scares the hell out of me that we are even having to defend our country against someone like Obama. Some people truly are just plain stupid.

I too am a real Democrat and cast my vote for Mccain/Palin.Have been called racist by fellow democrats but that is their problem not mine.I am happy with my vote and I did not watch infomercial—no longer watch cnn or msnbc either. Those people are just way too obvious of their adoration of the one and also their sexist full blown against Hillary and Sarah.Through with the party of Obama.

Hello fellow members of the Democratic underground. Yes, I did vote for McCain/Palin. I hope they win. Didn’t, or I guess won’t, watch the informercial (its still not 8PM out here.) Screw the Democrats. Right on.

Voted for McCain/Palin today and knew I was doing the right thing. I cannot vote for a ticket I do not trust.
