I can not see the Democratic party surviving after this election. It has major fissures that can not be healed. I see the party splitting into two separate parties. May not be such a bad idea, it’s time this country expanded out of this stifling 2 party system anyway.

Rashid Khalidi? Cool sounding name. Shareem Abdur Rahim? Also a cool sounding name. Mahmoud_Abdul-Rauf? Also cool. And Kareem Abdul Jabbar? Also a cool sounding name. Not to mention Nuri Al Maliki.

What do Republicans have against vowels? Say what you want about George Bush, but he seems to not hold any grudges against people with a lot of vowels in their name.

Since it is an open thread, I encourgae everyone to go there and post a polite but thoughtful and firm comment –you need to register– about why Khalidi is not just a name (and cool is the last adjective I’d use). Please be polite so that they don’t have an excuse to erase it !! They are big on censoring anything that’s some sort of “insult” in their view.

It is outrageous BTD is mocking everyone about Khalidi & Obama.

I was at a doctor visit and they asked me if I wanted to watch the news on their TV. I said no. It drives me crazy. I can’t stand it anymore.

I housed the Kerry field rep for my very large county in FL..and helped run the Kerry Campaign in Fl ..we also ran the Kerry camp for two other counties.

I was the volunteer co-ordinator for 15 Kerry Rallies.

I did public speaking for the Kerry Camp in many counties in FL…several times with Max Cleland ..who has also been shit on by Obama..

I donated a big giant chunk of money to Kerry and the DNC.

I fed many of the Kerry field kids each and every day for months..

Since 2001..I have run a rapid response of 8 large internet groups nationwide.

Since 2004 I did rapid response for and with the National DNC ( I stopped working with the DNC after I saw Obama and DNC cheating while working on the ground in Iowa! and then again in my state of FL and I also was in SC working for the dem party..and saw massive Obama cheating in SC)

I was a caucus co-captain in Iowa..for a very large precinct and watched kids bussed in from out of state with all matching Ipods..and watched them scream in older people’s faces ..in a senior citizen retirement area….and intimidate older voters..voters who actually lived and caucused in that area ..many for over 35 years!

I have been a long time member of the Democratic executive committee.

I have already voted in my State of Florida.

I voted McCain/Palin

Many lifelong democrats I know are silent about their vote this time..and many many Life long Democrats I know who have always worked for the dem party ..grassroots and activists..and many Dem executive committee people ..are voting McCain/Palin..if they have not already done so.

Many had a hard time coming to this place..but it is asshole obots that have made it much easier..

I cried when I realized many many months ago .. I had no choice but to vote republican this time..I HAD TO VOTE COUNTRY FIRST..AND be RESPONSIBLE TO MY COUNTRY FIRST..AND OUR NATIONAL SECURITY.

As the days and months have gone by and observing the nastiness and the mean spirited Obots and team obama..and the crooks involved with Obama..my choice became easier and easier..

Sooo many lifelong dems have come to me since January and have had the same struggles..but I will tell you this..
So many have written me and told me how good they feel about having voted early for McCain..

In fact many planned only to vote McCain and dem the rest of the ballot..well most have now said they were compelled to vote now Republican down ticket as well..

And the dems can thank Donna Brazile, Howard Dean, Pelosi, Reid..and little assholes like you for their choices..you have made it easy for them.

People , especially women don’t take kindly to the “c” word..and most have worked a lifetime for feminism ..to only see little dip shits like you, try to destroy the work we have done for lifetimes for equality for women and minorities.

When I voted for McCain/Palin..I felt cleansed..

In fact , gone were the tears..I felt joy..joy that I could take back my party and take back my country from a corrupt party and media,that I want to see torn apart. I felt joy that many of us lifelong dems will help take down a candidate who had to cheat to be sitting where he is today.. ..I felt Joy that you little wet behind the ears little snots will get the lesson of your lives when the totals come in after Tuesday.

Oh and darlin..I am the wife of and mother of two incredible people who support exactly what I have said here.. double minorities..who also have voted for McCain/Palin..even though they too are lifelong Proud Democrats.

My vote went Republican right down the ticket..and I Hope Dems party is torn to shreads..so we can start over with people with integrity.
