[UPDATES IN BOLD] A Dolt and a Thug, Obama Again Claims He Knows Nothing

Obama, according to the Associated Press, did not know his Aunt Zeituni, the child of Obama’s paternal grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, was residing in the United States illegally while he was accepting her campaign contributions. I quote the AP:
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama said Saturday he didn’t know his aunt was living in the United States illegally and believes that laws covering the situation should be followed.
The Associated Press found that Obama’s aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya. The woman, Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUHN on-YANG-oh), is living in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama’s late father.
A statement given to the AP by Obama’s campaign said, “Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed.”
The campaign said it was returning $260 that Onyango had contributed in small increments to Obama’s presidential bid over several months. Federal election law prohibits foreigners from making political donations. Onyango listed her employer as the Boston Housing Authority and last gave $5 on Sept. 19.
One would think Obama would know the immigration status of his aunt after he rendered her into a textual spectacle in his 1996 memoir entitled Dreams of My Father. One would also think a relative would have contacted him in 2004 in order to inform the aspiring US Senator and Illinois political official that auntie needed assistance with her asylum petition. After all, auntie attended Obama’s swearing-in to the US Senate the same year her asylum petition was unfavorably adjudicated. Moreover, one would think that Obama would have been informed by someone related to his aunt that she donated tainted money to his campaign. And furthermore, the Obama campaign must have asked Obama a question or two after an article on Obama’s aunt surfaced a few days ago in the London Times. Surely they would have asked about the aunt’s immigration status after it was revealed she fraudulently donated $260 to the campaign from her public housing address in South Boston.
Also pertinent to this line of questioning is Auntie Zeituni’s claim that she could not speak to reporters until November 5. “’I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,’ she said, adding: ‘After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.’” Who asked her to remain silent? Did she receive a directive from David Axelrod?
But Obama claims he had “no knowledge” about his aunt’s willful violation of this country’s immigration laws. Are we surprised? Obama, it seems, knows nothing about anything. Similar to Alberto Gonzales, he “does not recall” anything whenever he is confronted about his lack of judgment or about his record of problematic affiliations with convicted felons and known terrorists. Let us review:
1. Obama had no knowledge of the deportation order submitted against his paternal aunt.

On Monday, Obama chief strategist David Axelrod said Obama was not aware of Ayers’ terrorist background when he attended a political coffee at Ayers Hyde Park home at the beginning of his state senate race sometime in the fall of 1995. Ayers and Obama first crossed paths in 1995 while involved in the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a foundation dealing with urban education issues.
In a statement, Obama said that he was “saddened” by the verdict. “This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew,” he said, adding that the charges against Rezko “once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform.” Obama has repeatedly said he did no favors for Rezko. He was never a focus of Rezko’s trial.
The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation. When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign. I made it clear at the time that I strongly condemned his comments. But because Rev. Wright was on the verge of retirement, and because of my strong links to the Trinity faith community, where I married my wife and where my daughters were baptized, I did not think it appropriate to leave the church.
What does Obama know? Does he know anything? Or is he really as vacuous as I and others believe? Diabolically disingenuous when asked to justify his past actions, his affiliations and his complete and utter lack of judgment, Obama is the Democratic Party’s version of Alberto Gonzales. Indeed, he is a thug whose friends and family break laws without apology.
He is also a complete and utter dolt who issues sanctimonious pronouncements when he is caught with his hand in the cookie jar: only now does he believe his aunt should adhere to immigration laws; only now will he return his aunt’s illegal and fraudulent donation; and only now does he believe Illinois politics should be reformed. A thug who portrays himself as a dolt, Obama cannot and should not serve as President of the United States.

I found a video clip in which Obama totally redefines what middle/upper class income is and who should pay more taxes. He is quoted on video. I think this is newsworthy, given the current focus on Obama’s plan to tax a larger number of families. The video shows Obama directly stating this. It is far less difficult to interpret than, say, the Chicago NPR audio-only about redistributive change. This is a video that’s ready-made for a campaign spot and for video news releases. All people will understand it.
In this video, Obama defined $97,000 family income as “upper class” and subject to $1 Trillion in tax increases in debate within the last year and in policy proposals. He also makes a similar claim in writing in an Op-Ed (see below).

I wonder how many families with 2 or 3 kids in middle class suburbs of our major cities would consider their $97 K income to be “upper class.” If any of those kids plan to go to college, the families will hardly be living like the upper class on $97K.

So how long is the press gonna let him get away with the plausible deniability routine? He applies it in each and every circumstance where the facts don’t go his way: from Rev. Wright straight to Auntie Z., he is full of bullXXXX and the sycophants in the 70% positive story media are carrying his wheelbarrows of fertilizer. They should all be kicked out of the “profession” (well, it used to be one!): defrocked, disbarred, expelled, excommunicated!
You know, the now defunct Chicago City News Bureau had the motto: “If your mother says she loves you, check it out.” Journalism seems to have forgotten this principle, instead relying on the likes of the youthfully inept Bill Burton, La Bolt and others fronting the AxelPlouffe Coup.
Just some thoughts on this situation. Here is the problem with Aunti Zeituni Onyango, the freeloader and Bambi’s responses. There are two ways to take this. First, she was there for his swearing in and he admits that he saw her two years ago. He must have known of her plight and yet in his selfish, narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) he felt no empathy and did absolutely nothing to help with her illegal alien situation. This makes him, 1)a total lying sob, 2)a cold-hearted dis-compassionate hypocritical liberal and 3)a person who has no sense of family.
OK, we have had other such presidents, ie Bill Clinton, LBJ, FDR and you can go down the list. Arguably this might not have an effect on the way someone leads, although for me, personally, it is a deal killer.
The other alternative view is even worse. When someone in my family, no matter how distant a relative, yet alone someone whom I care about and cares about me, has a problem, they come to me. They know that I am a problem solver and am willing to give my time, effort and sometimes money to help solve it. They know that the worst that will happen is that I will say no money, but I will always work with them to solve a problem, no matter how serious. That is my reputation in my family.
Obama is supposed to be a leader. He’s running to be the leader of the still free world. One would think he would be a problem solver and would leap at the chance to help a woman who was so pivotal in his upbringing. If she didn’t go to him for help, one has to wonder why. As a newly minted senator, he had a number of ways to help with her immigration status. He could get a private bill passed, lean on the immigration authorities, etc. He could have reached in his own pocket and helped her to get a decent home. He could have even taken her into his own home to help over this hard time. But, if we are to believe him, and that is a stretch, she never came to him. Why wouldn’t she? The only possible conclusion is that she knew up front that it would be futile and that he would do nothing. Now if that’s what his beloved Aunti felt about him, how can I expect him to lead the free world any differently? Either option makes him unfit for duty in my humble opinion.
I flicked on CNN yesterday because Gov Arnold Scharzenager (sp?) was speaking live at McCain Rally … then, I think it was Wolf Blitzer, spoke at his desk and mentioned the Arnolds citizenship status prevented him for running for President..he then said he thought the government may be looking to amend the constitution to include the foreign born etc….(sorry I can’t be exact, but that was the gist of it) when I heard that I immediately thought they are already preparing the ground for a Challenge by Obama if it is found out to be true that his birth status disqualifies him from holding the office of the Presidency….(I’m not a birth certificate conspiracy theorist..however, Wolf’s comment gave me pause to think it may well be true… it so fits with all the coverup of the family..who aren’t allowed to speak until After BO is elected… hmmmm
If this is true, two thirds of the states would have to ratify a proposed amendment and it would be no different than a Coup de état, debate. I sincerely hope you are wrong.

This “AUNTIE” has been talked about many times in Obama’s autobiography and she was present at the 2004 senate convention for Obama. You honestly believe that Obama never had a heart-to-heart talk with her dear “AUNTIE” after the convention and find out about her grievances.
Obama has made millions over a short period of time and would not spare a single dime for his beloved aunt or his half brother in Kenya who is living in a hut for $1 a month, this is astounding and speaks volumes about his compassion for his own family members, forget about the compassion for the rest of the lemmings who are rooting for this empty suit. You know what I recently discovered serves as an antidote to Kool-Aid Intoxication? This Birth Certificate debacle. Regardless of how many hundreds of hours I have spent providing ‘facts’ or lucid explanations that contest BO’s claims, he has established his eligibility for POTUS by producing a copy of his Birth Certificate from HI; his ardent supporters could not hear. Even when I pointed out that, the State of HI distinguishes between a Birth Certificate and a Certification of Live Birth, the title of the document BO posted on his web site, they could not hear. But last week, newspapers reported, the Governor of HI sealed BO’s Hawaiian Birth Certificate. And, when I asked his supporters, rhetorically, how it was possible to seal a man’s Birth Certificate when that man posted a copy of this Birth Certificate on his web site; now, they heard me. Their response? ‘Even if what you say is true, there’s nothing anyone can do about it, anyway.’
And for some crazy reason Aunti Z said that she cannot speak about the election or her nephew until the 5th of November and so until then she is just going to continue to pray for his success.

While it took me a second to get the allusion (at first, I thought you were employing some new euphemism for the standard 4-letter words), it doesn’t really fit when you finally break it down.
It IS clever, I will admit, but the fact was that all of Hyacinth’s best schemes fell apart at the very end, largely due to her own words and deeds because she didn’t have a cast of enablers. Her husband would go along with the schemes as best he could (”minding the pedestrian on the sidewalk, Hyacinth”) but he was also the very voice of reason who, unfortunately couldn’t break through Hyacinth’s delusions of self-grandeur.
Her neighbor, Elizabeth, is a good example–she secretly hated Hyacinth’s (well-intentioned) bullying but was too afraid of Hyacinth face-to-face (”oh, please Hyacinth, not your good china”) to stop her; heck, Liz couldn’t even stop Hyacinth over the phone.
The poor vicar and his wife would go out of their way to avoid Hyacinth (”it’s the Buckey woman again”) but all too often found themselves wrapped up in her schemes with no way out (one time notably when the Vicar wound up playing chauffeur).
Then there was Hyacinth’s regularly seen family, Rose, Daisy and Onslow. (We very rarely saw her other sister, Violet, or Violet’s husband.) Now, Rose would make a convincing case as Obama since EVERYTHING in Rose’s world was all about Rose (all her boyfriends–even the married ones–were supposed to put Rose first and when they didn’t, or wouldn’t, she pouted and whined) and Rose’s offers to help anyone else revolved around how Rose could benefit. Taking the Rose-as-Obama metaphor, one could paint Daisy and Onslow as Hillary and Bill–forced to suffer the self-absorbed family member’s whines and help out the self-absorbed family member. Otherwise, Daisy and Onslow were much more reality-based. Sure, Daisy would accomodate Hyacinth much of the time, but far more often, she and Onslow would (innocently) embarrass Hyacinth by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
And the people in Hyacinth’s neighborhood–aside from the Major, no one wanted to have anything with “the Bucket woman”. Everyone was too terrified of being drawn into her self-absorbed and one-upsmanship conversations (think of the postman and the milkman–the former was accosted for NOT delivering her a letter and one time for not making sure she was only receiving first-class mail; the latter was berated for not reassuring her that hse got beck her “own milkbottles”) and the handful of Hyacinth’s social “betters” scarcely had the time of day for her (such as the very upper-class “Mrs Councillor Nugent”).
Again, props for the analogy, but to paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen, “I know Hyacinth Bucket, and Barack Obama is NO Hyacinth Bucket”.

After writing a book about his Kenyan ancestry, you would think he would feel some sense of obligation to those whose very existence provided the foundation of his book. I mean, would dreams of my mother from Kansas, who often dumped me on my Grandparents, have provided the same type of stepping stone to fame and fortune, while solidifying his support in the African American community?
It’s surprising that he’s made so little effort to keep in touch with the family members included in his book (I read his book, and I assumed he felt enough of a bond and attachment to look out for and assist his Kenyan relatives). Unfortunately, now it looks like he used their life stories to make money and gain notoriety, yet feels no compulsion to share his wealth or even his affections with them.
How odd that he chose to support Odinga but not his Aunt. And, how puzzling that he claims he didn’t know she was in this country (some claim she attended one of his 2004 Senate events). Why on earth didn’t she contact him about her immigration difficulties, why on earth wouldn’t he at least have provided her with a good immigration attorney?

Obama’s claim “not to know” about the past and current activities of the associations he has had and has used to gain power always just rings false. So I am amazed when I hear the O supporters claiming that we are playing a game of “connect the dots,” as if during that type of game you aren’t somehow making a picture come into focus. They make it seem as if we’re just being desperate or something.
But my real point is this: Either he did know, and he agreed with them enough to be their friends, OR he did not know. If he did know, that in itself makes him frightening as a presidential candidate. If he didn’t know, that makes him frightening too. The only reason, then, that he associated with them was to gain power, whoever they may be.
I keep thinking of a line from JFK’s inaugural address. He was talking about the battle between the democratic powers and the communist powers to gain control over the new countries after colonialism. It seems to apply to O here, too, if he has used these people to gain power, thinking he could just pretend he didn’t know. The quotation is like this: “to remember that, in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside.”

Thats the common viewpoint I was talking about. Anyway, I personally believe that things have negatives and positives. Because you all point out the negatives, I try to point out some positives, or just refute negatives. No hard feeling.
What I mean to say is that when many people of a common viewpoint ar together, some things are said which go to far and there is no one to refute them.

Caught only a little piece on Fox talking about it this morning - I wish I had caught more. Of what I did see: they showed a picture of Keith Olbermann and then one of Ben Affleck (total 0bot who’s the SNL host tonight).
Then they said something about KO having been sneaked into a closed rehearsal for this week’s show - that’s all I heard.

Man Gallup has to be the best pollster in history. Teo days ago I looked at this Gallup poll and low and behold the race was tight McCain was picking steam the race was 49% Obama, 47% McCain wow, I told myself geez we are going guns.

According to Gallup Mc Cain seems to be dropping points all the time 3,4, 5, and so on but Obama the loved on only sheds maybe a point no and again but quickly makes it up the next day by gaining 3 or 4 points, while McCain the old unloved guy keeps dropping like a stone daily.

Family oriented people are busy and that might have affected the outcome too. UTICA, New York — After a strong day of polling for Republican presidential candidate John McCain on Friday, Democrat Barack Obama experienced a strong single day of polling on Saturday, retaining a 5.7 point advantage that is right at the edge of the margin of error of the Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby daily tracking poll. The race has remained remarkably stable down the stretch, this three-day rolling average poll shows.
Pollster John Zogby: “Obama has consolidated his lead over McCain. His single day lead today was back to 52%-42%. He leads by 10 among independents and has solidified his base. He leads among Hispanics by38 points, African Americans by 88, 18-24 year olds by 36, 18-29 year olds by 25, 25-34 year olds by 16, women by 8, and men by 3. He has a 17 point lead among those who have already voted, 22 by those who have registered to vote in the past 6 months, Moderates by 34, Catholics by 10. He even receives 21% support among Conservatives.
“So what happened to give McCain a one-point lead in the one-day polling on Friday? It was a day of consolidation for him, too. He had been losing support among key groups and began to regain some of his own base. He now leads by 21 points among NASCAR fans, 9 among investors, 6 among voters in armed forces households, and 2 among voters over 65 years old.
“Remember, as I said yesterday, one day does not make a trend. This is a three-day rolling average and no changes have been tectonic. A special note to blogger friends: calm it down. You know how Obama twists words and is so evasive. If you read this statement from the Hawaii Records Clerks closely…it does not state where he was born.
Remember that term that was used to state you can register your baby here even if he was born somewhere else??? He was born in Kenya and properly registered in Hawaii as an out-of-state birth.
Obama got to them and told them how to make this statement without actually lying and they agreed.

If he was born in Hawaii, there is absolutely NO REASON not to show his BC the way John McCain presented his. It appears that Senator Obama used his aunt as a nice “character” to insert into his book to give him “Roots”-style credibility, which helped him politically and made him some serious money. Then he used her as a prop for his swearing in.
The operative phrase is “used her.”
Other than that, he couldn’t care less if she was alive or dead. Clearly, or he would have called her occasionally.

You can see that the Obama camp is seriously desperate. Trying every trick in the book to keep McCain voters away from the polls. They were counting on the young people to be game changer, but so far the “surge from young people” has not been materialized. So there they go again, another hoax, using not other than chicago politics style.
I for one think McCain/Palin tick will win the November 4th elections. Just get out there and vote.
