How Low Will He Go?

$250,000; $200,000; $164,500; $150,000; $120,000; $70,000

Aren’t you glad I mentioned that song? Now you can have it stuck in your head all day long like I have! Ahem. Of course, I am talking about the ever-changing figure from Obama and his spokespeople on where he draws the line on being rich. First it was $250,000 (though the WSJ said it was really more like $164,500, though Obama never acknowledged that), then it was $200,000, then $150,000 (via Biden), and then yesterday Bill Richardson said $120,000 was rich. Huh - I wonder what it will really end up being should he steal the election? (And you know damn well with ACORN and Project Vote, there will be shenanigans going on because THERE ALREADY ARE!)

Here is Obama in 2003 claiming those who earn more than $70,000 are rich. The cap of the middle class just goes lower and lower. You cannot make this up. But Obama does as he goes along:

Now, I realize that to some people, $70,000 sounds like a lot of money. But if you live in a place like Boston, or NYC, or Chicago, or LA (or anywhere in CA, for that matter), it is not a lot of money. It’s all about context. And, in my neck of the woods, ALL of the businesses are small businesses, many family - owned ones. But hey - don’t take my word for it. Here’s a video for you:

Sigh - if only the DNC had not stolen the nomination from Hillary. But I digress…

It is impossible to give 95% of Americans a tax break when 40% of Americans do not pay taxes. There goes that Obama Logic again…

Here’s Joe Biden - i she once again making a gaffe by actually speaking the truth?

But get this - Obama is now claiming that people who do NOT want to be taxed more are selfish. No, I am not kidding:

Okay - it is selfish to not want more than half of your income to go to taxes. Now, let me just say right up front that I am not someone who is anti-tax. I know that we NEED taxes to pave our roads, employ our firefighters and police officers, educate our children, and care for those in need. BUT - I do not think that it one group of people should disproportionately carry another group of people. And it is absurd to even TALK about raising ANYONE’S taxes in the midst of economic difficulties. That is not new thinking - that has been accepted wisdom for decades now. How about actually collecting taxes from people and businesses who owe it? Or close loopholes for the freakin’ OIL companies?? If Exxon was having record breaking profits every single quarter for years, why should they have gotten an breaks? They sure weren’t giving US any! The point is - obviously we need tax revenue, but to burden an already burdened group of people is not the solution. There are other options available, including growing jobs, which also grows tax revenue, if you think about it.

Bottom line is that I know Obama got used to the line moving all of the time when he was running against Clinton. The media made damn sure of that. But he needs to stop moving the line, or having his surrogates do it for him. Even better, let’s make sure we don’t have to DEAL with Obama’s ever-changing tax ideas by not electing him president.

Or by allowing Obama and his minions to take the election through voter fraud. Once again, if you see any kind of fraudulent or suspicious behavior at your poling place, people wearing political buttons into the polling place, or machines flipping votes, or whatever, the McCain/Palin Team has set up a HOTLINE for suspicious voting activity. Here is the number: 866-976-VOTE. Take your cell phone with you, if you have one. Take photos if you can. Again, 866-976-VOTE. Because we don’t want to find out how low he will go with who is in the middle class (in terms of taxes - we already know how low Obama will go with sexism, promises made FISA, and broken, GLBT rights, etc., etc.)…

A total income of $70,000 is rich???? No way…after taxes, social security and so forth, for a married couple with a couple of kids, with a mortage, groceries to buy, medical expenses and so forth…

Comment by Leslie | 2008-11-01 17:19:59

Trouble is that Obama does not say or even suggest that $70,000 is rich in this video. I wish he did, but he did not. I hate Obama but you have put up a false story that is not proved by the video you posted.

Look at the following video and about 1:30 in, Obama declares that over $97,000 is “upper class” income (as opposed to “middle class”)

I’m in for 10 Bucks on 75K!
…considering Barry’s slide and that he’s cutting of tax breaks at 76K, I say YEP 75-76K will be Barry’s Middle Class.

…gives us so much to hope for. LOL

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-01 15:48:02

But you also notice, the tax he was looking to cut, was on SOCIAL SECURITY, not Federal. And what would happen to Social Security if you cut the taxes for benefits?

Comment by cookiegramma | 2008-11-01 15:38:38

I must take issue with some of what you have written. It is about the being selfish issue about paying taxes. Everyone seems to be looking at the tax level of the federal government as the single tax entity. It is not. Every state has some method of getting tax money out of people. I live in Ct, and the residents of this state pay a much higher amount of taxes into the federal government than we will ever see a return on. That is a fact.
In Ct we also pay sales taxes and state and local taxes. The majority of the money paying for teachers, police and fire protection as well as infrastructure comes from inside of this state, not from federal income taxes. In no way do I believe that we are the only state where this happens, we are not. Our tax burden on even the lower middle class is really high. Unfortunately, because of the fact that we get so little money back from the taxes we pay into the feds, our roads are a shambles and there is no sign of improvement.

Comment by Diana L. C. | 2008-11-01 16:09:10

I understand what you’re saying; however, when the statement about “selfishness” comes from someone like O, I become upset. He and the Mrs. pay a meager 1% of their income for charity. He didn’t mind procuring a $200,000 a year salary increase for his wifey through an earmark.

I often vote for tax increases for our schools and highways and transportation systems, etc., when I know they need them. I want that kind of tax collection done transparently. I don’t want an across-the-board tax increase so Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, and THE ONE to do with as they see fit: e.g., to pay for ACORN, Fannie and Freddie and no oversight, etc.

I spend a lot for charity and so do most Americans in general. We are generous people, not selfish people. To have “that one” say I am selfish really makes me angry.

Comment by tampagurl | 2008-11-01 17:11:48

What Obama fails to realize is that it’s not the people earning over $250,000 that are doing most of the complaining.

It is the fair minded Americans that know and understand that those people that get the loans, go to school and often work 10 and 12 hours a day deserve to make more money. I in no way feel I deserve any of their money.

I have a brother that didn’t go to college but he works almost 16 hours a day. He works at a construction co. for 8 hrs, comes home works as long as he can in his small cabinet shop. He pretty much works 7 days a week and rarely takes vacations.

My bother makes over 250,000 a year. I don’t want any of my brothers money nor do I want the government taking from him just so they can give it to someone that doesn’t work as hard.

Comment by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy | 2008-11-01 17:27:01

I hear you abt how much you have to pay for state taxes, but federal taxes DO go for things like infrastructure (highways, bridges - DOT), and help to defray costs for hospitals, and other entities. Then there is Homeland Security. The Education Dep’t. And I could go on. And there are definitely states that pay a disproportionate amount of money considering what they get back. That has long been a bone of contention. But don’t think that CT gets nothing from the Feds. It surely does.

Comment by cookiegramma | 2008-11-01 21:42:12

I did not say we got nothing, I said that we recieved very little back. The last I heard it was less than fifty cents on the dollar. The road work being done here has been done by the state DOT and when we do get money from homeland security it makes a big spash in the news paper. Trust me, we do pay attention. The area where I live has many reasons to be concerned starting with the sub base.

Comment by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy | 2008-11-01 22:25:14

I understand. You took exception to my mention of Fed taxes, and I’m just sayin’ that states DO get money back. And many states have both local, state, and sales tax. Where I live, we have all three, plus fed, so I hear you. And I get that we shouldn’t just be factoring in fed. taxes in terms of what people shell out, but since this is a PRESIDENTIAL race, federal tax is the only thing the prez/Congress controls. And since I was talking abt OBAMA, that was the point - his ever-changing base for taxation.

We are rolling out our final effort to defeat Barack Obama on national TV and major markets in swin

Dear Newsmax Reader:
It’s almost one minute to midnight.
We are rolling out our final effort to defeat Barack Obama on national TV and major markets in swing states.
The latest AP poll finds that 1 in 7 voters still hasn’t decided how they will really vote — that’s almost 15% of the electorate.
Many voters simply don’t decide until the last minute. Our ads can have a powerful effect.
This weekend we want to buy ads on both the NFL Football game on Sunday and “60 Minutes” — two CBS programs reaching tens of millions. We want to show on these shows our powerful ad reminding the American people of Obama’s close friendship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
The cost for these two ads is about $400,000. That’s in addition to all the major TV ads buys we have already made for this weekend.
I need to tell our ad buyer in just 2 hours that “it’s a go” and buy the ad. He is standing by.
Can you help our effort today by donating for our last minute effort to stop Barack Obama?
Can you help us us raise $400,000 in 2 hours — to get our ad before tens of millions of Americans?
To help just Go Here Now.
If you have not seen our powerful TV ads — Go Here Now.
Thank you and God bless you.
Scott Wheeler
Executive Director
P.S. In addition to our TV ads we are planning a large scale internet marketing effort on Monday and Tuesday to inform voters and get out the vote. Your help today will make our efforts possible until the very last minute. You can Donate Here Now or call our donor hotline at 1-866-957-1467

Well said, RRR Amy.

$120,000, for a family 4 in a big city is not rich. It’s middle class and watching your pennies. $70,000 in LA or New York is roommate zone and top ramen.

Comment by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy | 2008-11-01 22:28:25

Thanks, Bud. After having lived in NYC and Boston, don’t I know it. WOW. Very expensive places to live for not great places to live. It is hard to really get that when you live elsewhere. Like where I live now, if someone made $120,000, yeah, they’d be thought of as doing okay - until you go 15 minutes from here and see the beach houses and the money it cost to build THOSE places. It’s all relative, is the point…

Time is short and the polls are all over the place. The problem is getting the message out. My morning newspaper (did endorse Obama last week)and prior to that time and now, all there writers were in the tank for Obama. Today’s paper did not have a word about this moving tax number, but did explain how hard it was going to be for McCain to win. This is Texas and he will win here! In The early voting they played up the very high AA vote in the urban centers, but also spoke about some of the lillywhite areas such as Collin County and Denton, Texas. Here the turnout was up around 25 percent. I think you will see this same factor in states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and North Carolina. If this occurs, McCain will win!

Comment by WasLNbutNoBamaBotsKeepStealingMyName | 2008-11-01 15:50:53

Yes, not only increased Repub turnout, but that increased Dem turnout has a huge percentage of PUMAs in the mix voting for McCain/Palin.

Go Mac, go!

Comment by morty | 2008-11-01 20:23:28

Let’s hope McCain voters turn out in recornd numbers. It seems like the Obama people are very vocal. But it seems like McCain supporters will vocalize at the polls. Keep the faith.

Comment by Annie McOakley | 2008-11-01 15:50:46

He didn’t! The same guy who has already called us bitter, clinging racist low-information rednecks now says we’re selfish? Because we don’t want to pay more taxes? I cannot believe that the Democratic candidate is running on an “you owe more” platform and insulting those who don’t agree.

Comment by JRM | 2008-11-01 15:52:42

I’m in Denton County, Texas and you are right. Early turnout was really high, and from what I can tell, pretty strong McCain. But that is expected. However, I believe you are right jessiebritton in your comment about McCain turnout in most of these so-called battleground states. For the first time in the last month I have a really good feeling about a McCain/Palin victory.

Comment by jessiebritton | 2008-11-01 15:53:06

The above post should have stated “McCain” on the newspaper’s endorsement and not ” Obama” sorry about the mistake.

Woo-hoo!!! I’m rich. In fact, I’m richer than rich and didn’t even know it.

Oh, thank you Senator Obama.

After you take what’s left of my money, could you pickup my kids’ university fees? You know how those school loans can be bummers and with difting home values, the equity in our house is practically nonexistent. Hard to tap “zero.” And my heater is on the blink, probably because it’s 20 years old. I know you’ll be paying for my electricity costs and the gasoline in my car because in Obamaworld we’ll all be equally down and out in America.

Who me worried? Nah. I know at a minimum you’ll give me a nice warm blanket and prime corner to stand on. How about the tin cup? You can spare some extra change, right? I see how you’ve taken care of your auntie, so I’m sure I’ll get equal treatment. And when my husband and I lose our jobs, I’m sure those unemployment checks are going to be huge and last for years and years.

I feel the warmth of your love right through cyberspace.

My family and I thank you.

For nothing!

Comment by Witzend | 2008-11-01 15:59:50

Who’s selfish?

I’ll report, you decide:

THE POTUS CANDIDATES:

In 1991, McCain opposed the raise the Senate gave itself and has since donated that portion of his income to charity. In addition, he’s donated all royalties earned on his books since 1998 - a total of $1.8 million. In ‘06 and ‘07, he and Cindy donated an estimated $234,000 (namely, 18% and 27% of their annual income, respectively).

By comparison, the Obamas donated 1% of their income between 2000-2004, 5% in ‘05 and ‘06, and $240,000 of their $4.2 million income reported in 2007 (6%).

THE VP CANDIDATES:

Sarah and Todd Palin
Total income for 2006 and 2007: $294,949
Charitable donations for this period: $8205.

Joe and Jill Biden
Total income for 1998 thru 2008: +/- $2.5 million
Charitable donations for this period (drumroll, please): $3690

That’s a whopping average of $369/year (0.1% of their income).

So, I repeat, WHO’S SELFISH?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their
new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish
history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this
to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000
years earlier:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply can-
not exist as a permanent form of government.

“A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that
voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts
from the public treasury.

“From that moment on, the majority always vote for the
candidates who promise the most benefits from the public
treasury, with the result that every democracy will
finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is
always followed by a dictatorship.

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations
from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years.
During those 200 years, those nations always progressed
through the following sequence:

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;

2. From spiritual faith to great courage;

3. From courage to liberty;

4. From liberty to abundance;

5. From abundance to complacency;

6. From complacency to apathy;

7. From apathy to dependence;

8. From dependence back into bondage

Thanks for the Alexander Tyler reminder. Let’s prove America is the exception and freedom will ring true and free of egotistical, selfish, and narcissistic politicans like Barrackula.

in my opinion, there is a big difference between taxes that go for the infrastructure, roads, hospitals, libraries, or whatever, versus taking money from one guy, and giving a check to another.

taxes that pay for roads, schools, etc. pay for things that are used by all.

i don’t think it is appropriate to give money to those who didn’t earn it, so they can, as Oprah said, just spend it on iPods and expensive tennis shoes. or booze and hookers. haha

For some reason those numbers keep coming to mind. I sure hope I am wrong, but I gotta feelin’ I ain’t, since the numbers keep going lower and lower.

My my my…this Robin character is yet another angry, bitter, extremist Obot. Clearly the PUMA movement has the Obots running scared, or they wouldn’t be publishing this garbage and labeling Palin supporters “Spalinists”. If supporting Sarah Palin and objecting to the misogynistic vitriolic treatment of her by the MSM, Obama and his minions means I’m not a feminist, but a Spalinist, then so be it.

I think the issue of direct wealth transfer from Person A to Class of People B via “Tax Credits” (as opposed to lowering Taxable Federal Income) should rightly be framed as an issue of Eminent Domain.

What is happening is that the Govt is seizing my property (my money) and then allocating it not for its own expenses but to give directly to a private party or parties.

How is that not Eminent Domain?

According to Amendment V

No person [...] (shall) be deprived of life liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation

excellent post Amy…..

I believe the race turned over to McCain and Palin definitively when people finally realized Obama wants to redistribute wealth through raising taxes on those who work and give it to that 40% that don’t pay income tax. Life is what you put into it. If you don’t give a shit then you won’t have shit to show for it. However if people take advantage of the opportunities in this country that every single person has available to them, they can achieve whatever they want. But don’t piss, moan, whine and play the victim if you want to SIT ON YOUR LAZY FUCKING ASS AND NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. Affirmative Action further assured that.

God Bless America, John McCain and Sarah Palin

If anyone is still inclined to look at any of the polls or give them any consideration, this new garbage from Gallup should cure that. It is beyond the pale of absurd. From this point forward no-one should be even looking at polls. I know you are in the habit of going to rcp but just stop it! By looking at the polls you are drinking the kool aid.

If you all understood the modeling and assumptions that goes into polls you would see why. Never before have pollsters stooped to this kind of thing to help build the illusion of a lead where none exists. That’s right, none exists! Wait and see.

O is for over.

I wonder if some of these trolls know that Obama cannot win this election without the white vote. Some of them act as if Obama’s success is due to the 98% of blacks that are voting for him.

Maybe the better check a map because if the white votes does not show for Obama he will lose big time, you can put that in your pipe and smoke it troll.

Can I tell you all our story?

Dh & I met when he was 17 & I was 15. He was a high school dropout; I was little miss goodie two shoes. We started dating. Within a year, I had encouraged him to get his GED. We dated, working normal odd jobs that teenagers work at. When he was 19, he started college at a local community college. We got married & when he was 23, he joined the USAF. His take home pay was about $1000 a month…or $12k a year.

Instead of just showing up to work; he excelled. He wanted to make rank fast, so that we could make more money. And he did make rank very quickly. He made the rank of MSgt in 11 years. He started out as a jet engine mechanic. Around his 10 year mark, we looked into the future & figured that computer technology would provide a more lucrative post military career. So, he cross trained. After training, he started out working the base help desk; then moved onto network security. At this point he had been in around 15 years. By this point, he was making about $37k a year. We again looked into the future and realized that his salary would soon be capped if he didn’t have a BS degree. So, even though we finally had our first child on the way, we shelled out the money and he started attending classes in the evening. He kept attending classes through the birth of our 2nd child. He completed his degree a couple months after getting out of the military. His salary at that time was about $50k a year.

During this time, I got my degree & got a job in the accounting office of a local car dealership. I stopped working when I became pregnant with our second child (we have 3 now).

We had alot of sacrifices over the years. We didn’t buy the latest gadgets; we drove our cars well past their prime; we didn’t eat out a whole lot. We did this to save for our retirement so that we would be able to finally enjoy the fruits of our labors.

He has been out of the military now for about 4 years. He makes double what he did in the military. But you know what? We earned it. We earned it when he was sent of to Saudi Arabia 3 times. We earned it when he was sent flying 20 feet backwards in the Khobar Towers bombing. We earned it when he was underpaid for years (comparable jobs in the private sector). We earned it with all of the moving, the TDY’s, dealing with the military beaurocracy.

I don’t want to pay more taxes for someone who has a newer car than I do. I don’t want to pay more for someone who has $100 shoes, when I’m wearing a $20 pair. We have worked hard, saved wisely. And now, nearing retirement, we are going to be penalized with higher taxes on our 401ks? Or complete elimination? We pay an outrageous amount of property taxes already. We didn’t make sacrifices so that others, who chose the easier road, can get a free ride.

We don’t make alot, but we want to make more. Does that make us greedy? Am I greedy to maybe want to take my family to DisneyWorld one day? I’m I greedy because maybe I’d like to go on a second honeymoon to Tahiti with my husband?

Also, I have to ask myself…would we be where we are today, if we had gotten handouts and didn’t have to work for what we wanted? The answer to that is no. I know this from my own experience. My mother was going through a hard time, so I told her I’d send her $200 a month, but I wanted her to save at least half of it for retirement & not to expect it…I would do it if I could. Within 3 months, she was calling me every month asking where the money was. She never saved a penny (even though, in all, I sent her almost $5000); and she spent spent spent. After 2 years I finally cut her off & she started providing for herself again. I learned a valuable lesson.

I don’t want government deciding what my investments will be. I don’t want government deciding what my rate of return will be. I’ve already come to terms with the fact that we might not be getting social security. So, even though we pay through the nose, I haven’t counted it into our retirement plan.

I am left leaning in social issues and very right leaning in fiscal issues. Thats why I liked Bill Clinton so much. Thats why I would have voted for Hillary (even though I think she is a bit more left leaning than Bill). I want the government to curb spending, cut out waste, promote policies that provide jobs and I want more welfare reform. I don’t want my tax dollars going to pay for births of illegals in this country; or to pay for the schooling of their children. I want a sensible plan for legal immigation into this country.

Mostly though, I just want the government out of my pocket, out of my bedroom, and out of my life (as much as possible).

Lisa, what a great story. I too grew up knowing I had to work for everything. But, where I grew up the majority of the people were on public assistance. There a generations of people that live that way and have no desire to do otherwise. As a professional women, I have to dress for success, but I have seen some of my employees with more expensive purses, shoes and even cloths than I wear. I just bought a flat screen TV last month because I saved for it, yet some of the people that work for me have had theirs for years. Now this little punk wants to give my money to people that don’t think enough of themselves to get out of bed and work.
I will be making calls for McCain tomorrow, what are the rest of us going to do?

We got a plasma tv last year on Black Friday. Prior to that, we had the same 32 inch tv for 6 years.

We each have a cell phone…pay as you go.

We have basic cable.

We have an old camcorder that we got 7 years ago when our first child was born.

Our cars are: truck-1994, geo-1994 (back up vehicle) & 2003 mini van.

Right now, my youngest is in a pair of jogging pants that I first purchased about 6 years ago for my son…and then my other daughter wore them & now my youngest is wearing them. Since they are still in excellent shape, I’ll pack them away when she outgrows them in case we have 1 more child. The same with all of their clothes and shoes.

But dh did just walk in the door with Chick Fil A for dinner:-)

We are not extravagant people. And Oblahblah and his policies and his hatred of this country (and, imho, of whites AND blacks-I think he is an equal opportunity hater), makes my stomach churn.

People are forgetting that annual household incomes can reach over $150,000 in metropolitan areas through two wage earnings working three and four jobs between them or putting in a lot of overtime. It is not just about the small business owner. It is about ordinary citizens working second jobs and overtime to save for their kids colleges, put away a few bucks for a nice vacation every other year or to have a little savings.

So, you have parents working hard to give their kids a better life, working two jobs, working overtime so 3% can be given to people who are not putting in that effort that sacrifice?

I just made phone calls for the McCain campaign. They provided 50 numbers from which I was able to reach about 5 people out of which I was able to talk to two one voted for McCain the other for Obama (she was upset about the remarks McCain made about Obama.) The rest of the numbers were disconnected numbers or fax machines or answering machines. I for sure don’t envy telemarketers.

I believe these are junk numbers that they let people call. These suppose to be undecided voters.

Of course they’re going to lower the amount of money a rich person makes. They have to since under their plan businesses will begin to die and there’ll be less and less people paying for the social security of the unemployed.

I have said to my friends here in San Francisco, those who would listen to me as a McCain supporter anyways, that Obama’s dubious associations/ friends would not resonate with swing voters or Independents. This election is all about taxes and misguided economic plans on the part of the ultra-left.

There are many middle-class families here in the San Francisco Bay Area that will be reclassified as being “rich” should Obama be elected. Especially in high tech mecca Silicon Valley where I grew up. Most voters there are socially liberal but moderately conservative when it comes to taxes and government spending, traits that I believe most Independents like myself can identify with. That said, I don’t believe they know about Obama’s redistribution of wealth plan that’s in store for us. McCain should just forget about the so-called character issues and focus on last two days on one word: taxes, taxes, taxes….repeat that word and drill it into voters’ consciousness.

Comment by Still4Hill | 2008-11-01 18:32:51

Thanks, Amy, for this post even though it breaks my heart to see that debate clip where Obama is yelling at Hillary.
The sliding rule on the income bottom is one specific thing, but the more general picture that emerges is one of inconsistency and poor communication within the campaign.
So what do we know about Obama?
1. Associates with shady characters = poor judgment
2. Inconsistent
3. No unified message

And this is The Great Unifier? It’s chaos - oh, wait! Chaos is what Alinsky advocated, but I don’t think he meant it in this context.

Comment by anon | 2008-11-01 22:49:54

The $250,000 figure is still the figure that’s being stated. “Obama’s sliding tax scale” is a product of republican campaign spin.

“No increase at $250,000″ has always applied to couples; the figure for single filers has always been $150,000.

Biden was referring to where the largest tax cuts should go, as was Richardson.

Comment by KathyNeocon | 2008-11-01 22:53:03

Whatever Bot. The differing numbers of the sliding scale has come right out of your Majesty’s mouth, his witless sidekick, and other various cronies around him.

Well Dayum!!! there sure is a lot of racist skepticism about President Obama going on lately. Had you same people questioned, scrutinized and gave such critical opposition to Bush when he stole the presidency twice, sent jobs overseas and created unecessary wars, not to mention 911, we would not be in this horrible economic condition today. I do not recall any previous presidential-elects treated with such disrespectful negative after-election commercials of “Will he keep his promises?”. Then without shame went on to solicit negative comments from the public for emails listing their expetations of the new presidential elect Obama. Come on. this is transparent bigotry. Bush lied killing innocent people abroad and in the U.S. and you simply turned a blind eye. Your “concerns” are 8 years too damn late. Get over your damn racial prejudices and become a part of the solution not a part of the problem as you were with Bush, or shut the hell up.
