These kids are so adorable, and their song and dance moves are just too cute! And I think these kids are smarter than about 90% of the Obama’s supporters you see on TV and in videos.

A HUGE shout out to the teachers/organizers of this group. The message is great, and the kids actually know what they are talking about! HEY – Obama surrogates – these kids actually have answers when asked why they are supporting their candidate.
It is so fantastic to see kids singing something like this, singing a song that sends a positive message. Not some Hollywood produced video filled with brainwashed kids, being used for propoganda, chanting for *the one*.

I found a video clip in which Obama totally redefines what middle/upper class income is and who should pay more taxes. He is quoted on video. I think this is newsworthy, given the current focus on Obama’s plan to tax a larger number of families. The video shows Obama directly stating this. It is far less difficult to interpret than, say, the Chicago NPR audio-only about redistributive change. This is a video that’s ready-made for a campaign spot and for video news releases. All people will understand it.
In this video, Obama defined $97,000 family income as “upper class” and subject to $1 Trillion in tax increases in debate within the last year and in policy proposals. He also makes a similar claim in writing in an Op-Ed (see below).

I wonder how many families with 2 or 3 kids in middle class suburbs of our major cities would consider their $97 K income to be “upper class.” If any of those kids plan to go to college, the families will hardly be living like the upper class on $97K.

This means that if your family earned $200K, you would have a tax INCREASE of $12,360 per year, despite Obama’s claims that you would not. (He’s talking about only Federal Income Tax – but to you the only thing that matters is your TOTAL tax: Federal Income + Payroll Tax – it’s all going to Washington)
Can you BELIEVE they are asking for MORE money? This is just like the primaries–he is throwing money at these states, outspending Mac 4:1, and he still can’t close the deal. When I first saw this post I said to myself “groan.. another politization of kids” but then I saw their little dance routine and they looked really cute.
And the kids who answered questions could run verbal circles around Obama, they certainly didn’t need teleprompters. I’m pretty impressed actually. I know no one in my family would be able to answer questions like that.

These kids are amazing! And Little Willie- He’s the man! Not because he is supporting John McCain, but because he is secure and confident in himself and the respect of his classmates that he can go against peer-pressure and express his opinions without fear of repurcussions. Adults can learn alot from these children. And the young lady speaking highly of Sarah Palin. (I have to play the tape again to get her name because she deserves a shout-out as well.) She too is bucking the bandwagon. She might not support Governor Palin, but she refuses to jump on the misogyny bandwagon. You go girl!

Remember the young mccain volunteer, one of tens of thousands of mccain volunteers, that lied to the police about a matter that was not related to the mccain campaign in any way? The “liberal media” decided that was a big problem for mccain.
I have no idea what is the big deal with this song. If you read the transcript very well, it is an Obama song. Obama’s camp knew the first one offended many and decided to use deceitful words to fool the people who aren’t supporting him and by tricking people they threw a “bone” for the listeners of Mccain. You guys have more commons sense than this, read the words and you can see it is to lead the People to Obama. I read the words very well, especially the two paragraphs of the ending of the song- Obamanation was very well and alive!

Breaking….Mac is Back….Obama’s lead down to 4 in Pennsylvania. More importantly…JUST 75% Democrats now Support Obama…
In Pennsylvania, John McCain is getting closer, but Barack Obama is still attracting a majority of voters.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of voters in the state shows Obama with 51% of the vote while McCain picks up 47%. That four-point advantage for Obama is down from a seven-point margin earlier in the week and a 13-point advantage for Obama earlier in the month.
Just 75% of Pennsylvania Democrats now support their party’s nominee, down from 86% in the previous survey. Obama is doing a bit better among unaffiliated voters while Republican support for McCain remains steady (see crosstabs).
That makes no sense. How can he be 4 pts. ahead with only 75% Dem support? He’s not attracting a huge majority of indys. These polls are bogus. If it weren’t for Philly & Pittsburgh, he’d be toast. We’ll see on Tuesday, the only poll that matters.

These kids are vert bright kids, as are a lot of the kids in America. I see kids have a better grasp on how to work things out together than we think they do. Usually, we adults are the fly in the ointment.
Racism? only in the adult world. The kids today have that all worked out and I applaud them. The Political differences can be more of a wedge, let’s hope, like many of us PUMAs unexpectedly, but pleasantly discovered, sometimes we have more in common with our perceived enemies than we think we do. I would love to see a Class taught in our Public and private Schools on the two Major parties and their key differences, in as unbiased a way as possible. If we remove the stereotypes, and just present the facts, pro and con, we could have a new generation of informed, educated, politically active youth for both sides. When you educate people by giving them the truth, we all win. If only our media had trusted us enough to be able to make up our own minds had they been willing to present all the information in a truthful manner, we wouldn’t be having to support a candidate in secret, like we’re on a covert mission. We’d have a much more accurate idea through polling, too. We can forget about this on Nov. 5th, and not worry about being proactive in election reform, or we can take a cue from these kids and see the example of how an open, intelligent debate can and should be the desire of every American today.
