Be My PRAVDA or ELSE! [With Update From Larry Johnson]

You didn’t worship The One.

Now you must Pay.

Does this man’s evil vindictiveness make you shiver or what?

Update from Larry Johnson:
So much for “new” politics. One of the ostensible justifications put forward by Obama acolytes to explain why a guy with such little experience should be President is that he is “above politics.” He will bring us hope and a welcome change from partisan wrangling. In other words, he is not going to act like all of those other nasty, partisan politicians, especially Republicans. He is going to bring Republicans and Democrats together.

Horseshit!! If that was true he would have welcomed the Washington Times and Dallas Morning News on to his plane despite their endorsement of John McCain. He could have demonstrated thru action that he would welcome even those who oppose him. He could have taken the high road. But he showed his true colors. If you don’t worship at the feet of the Obama Messiah then get your ass off the damn plane.

I don’t fault Obama for doing what other politicians–like Richard Nixon–have done. I just wish he stop with the sanctimonious bullshit and admit that he is a normal Chicago politician who plays hardball and says what he needs to say in order to get elected.

I got this from
http://edgeoforever.wordpress.com/2008/11/01/pumas-25-to-40-of-hillarys-voters-and-where-it-counts/

Everyone in the media is missing one major fact about the Hillary voters — many of them were REPUBLICANS! Here in Ohio it’s a closed primary – but you can change to being a Democrat right before you vote! (Operation Chaos anyone?) Many of us are still registered as Democrats (there’s no reason at all to change back really until the next primary!) We’re skewing all these poll numbers because the pollsters think there are more Democrats than there really are!

I can’t wait until election night to see all those shocked faces on TV!!!

Go PUMAs! We support you!

Comment by Typewriterstreaming | 2008-11-02 12:50:29

Geo – very good point. I forgot about that – You are right!

Also, listening to the alarms about Arizona now swinging towards Obama – I remembered last night Obama and the media pulled the same horse manure during the New York primaries. All of a sudden when the voting day came close suddenly Sen. Clinton’s NY was going for – The One – well it didn’t and in retrospect I thought it was a nice baloney act. Maybe that is what is going on in AZ now.

Comment by Mr. X | 2008-11-02 13:44:39

Let us not forget about Democrat for a DAY!!! Wouldn’t it be funny if Obama caused his own defeat?

Comment by Geo | 2008-11-02 13:47:50

PA does not allow early VOTING. So Obama’s COAL DISASTER PLAN has time to stew before Voting begins in PA; a state in which Obama and MURTHA will suffer an agonizing defeat.

Comment by Typewriterstreaming | 2008-11-02 14:08:39

John Murtha needs to retire. He’s been a disgrace. Another disappointment.

I have lived my whole life in Arizona. We used to be a “conservative” state.Over the last 20 years or so, between former Californians moving here(after their own state became f**ked up) and around 1 million illegals who find a way to vote here with the help of La Raza and ACORN we have been trending toward blue.
However, that being said…McCain WILL WIN Arizona!

I think what bothered the press the most is exactly what the reporter said: These newspapers, with the exception of the Post, were pretty much middle-of-the-road papers.

However, I still say this is another case of the media critiquing falsely. It’s entirely too late. They have been denied access since the primaries. Obama has never been transparent.

And it’s a sorry deal to whine now.

Comment by Ani | 2008-11-02 13:14:43

Whining? Never mind what the press has been doing, the point of this very important interview is that Obama would crush any dissenting opinions of him — if you don’t worship at his feet, you will be shunned. That should terrify the American people.

We had a big taste of that with Bush — it will twice as bad with Obama.

This is critically important to share with the voting public in advance of the election when many of them are just now tuning in and have not been as closely involved in all of this as we have.

They need to know who he is.

Whining has nothing to do with it.

Comment by Zimeeisme | 2008-11-02 13:45:36

I disagree.

Things will be 10X worse with Obama.

For the life of me, I still cannot figure out how George W got re-elected. From the very beginning, Bush looked like a deer in headlights.

Comment by Mr. Natural | 2008-11-02 23:20:42

From the very beginning, Bush looked like a deer in headlights.

You and me both, Zim.

I’d indulge in hyperbole and say something like “I’ll go to my grave wondering how that SOB George Dubya hornswoggled so many suckers into voting him into power,”

but that would be silly.

Because it’s happening all over again.

Obama is also charging the Media thousands of dollar for them to have access to good areas of the election night venue (Grant Park in Chicago)

I see it as a way of giving preference to his big Media friends because alternative media and bloggers cannot afford to pay money just to have access.

Comment by Typewriterstreaming | 2008-11-02 12:59:40

Good point about the bloggers. last night on SNL it really angered me to see the skit of The View during which they ridiculed “elizabeth” for her online research. That was so a dig at blogs. Obama will do a Chinese quarters to blog, just watch.

Comment by Anee | 2008-11-02 14:19:51

All, be brave and vote!!!

Take a look at the state polls today…all collapsing to within the margin of error, including yesterday’s rass for pa. at only 4!

wooot!

Colorado by Denver Post only barky +5

Missouri by Mason Dixon Mac +1

Rass national stays at 5, zogby at 5.7

Nevada by Mason Dixon only Barky +4

North Carolina Mason Dixon Mac +3

Ohio by Mason Dixon Mac +2

Morning call has barky +7 in Pa. IT WAS +14 four days ago! And Rass has it at +4

Mason Dixon has Barky only +2 in Va.

Also, think on this…WHY is Obama spending $$$ in states like Arizona, MT, ND, etc.? because he’s freaking panicked…he’s already saturated the airwaves in all the swing states…there is NO MORE TIME left to buy there and he is FREAKING PANICKING about what he sees in all these states…

286 for McCain…BANK IT!!!

I don’t even tell my friends. They assume I am voting for Bambi. I have a Nader sticker on my car as a protest but I’d be afraid to put a M/P sticker on it. I have to wonder how many Repubs plus PUMAS and Dems voting for Mac there are…..

It’s exactly the same here in the Pacific NorthWest, especially on the little affluent islands near Seattle.

There are very few McCain signs or bumper stickers but I know that everyone is not a Bot because I am a sh*t disturber and vocal about my support for Mccain, loathing of Obama, and lots of people whisper to me that they agree with me but they don’t want their property vandalized.

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-11-02 15:45:48

The ass**** Obamabots refuses to allow ANY McCain Palin signs to remain. Yesterday I drove 30 miles and saw not a single McPalin sign — lots of O-zero signs. This is a rural county west of Seattle. Generally traffic intersections have all the political signs — and it is very telling that the ONLY sign missing is McPalin. The McPalin signs were up a week ago. So there is systematic vandalism.

The vandals apparently are getting away with their crimes. That’s fine — I refused to vote for any of the Dems running for local office. They were ALL in the tank for O-zero during the caucuses — part of the thugs and bully crowd.

Someone posted yesterday that a Seattle paper (Stranger?) was printing the addresses with McPalin signs –THAT is so damned communistic — something that we’ve heard ONLY happens in the bad commie countries.

Yesterday I was in Costco– and another shopper saw a McCain DVD — and said that it was the cheapest DVD on the rack. He said now is when we need a real leader — he sounded discouraged. I told him to have faith in McCain– that he is a strong closer. I had heard that the internal polling of the RNC is looking good. I believe that a whole lot of people are voting for McCain but not talking about their vote.

I failed to mention that I’m positive about McCain’s chances because the pollsters are ignoring PUMA’s votes.

This guy was retired military — and I can’t see military — retired or active duty going for O-zero in significant numbers.

With an 80% hang-up on pollsters — I’d say that these pollsters don’t know the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground.

Comment by jj | 2008-11-02 12:44:25

This is the most reliable national tracking poll

Obama’s overall lead down to two points!!

Go Mac!!!!

Day 21: IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll

The race tightened again Sunday as independents who’d been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-11-02 12:47:03

The momentum has shifted. Obama has this problem. I will always personally think, from my armchair, that he oversells.

Then, reality infringes. Biden drops his pie-in-the-sky tax plan from 250,000 to 200,000, and Richardson drops it to 150,000.

All of a sudden, McCain sounds like he’s been trumpeting the truth all along.

Comment by Zimeeisme | 2008-11-02 13:52:41

Richardson dropped it to 120K. Obama is on tape a few years ago saying that the middle class making 50, 60, 70K needed the tax breaks.

How low can they go?

Comment by John Smith | 2008-11-02 14:21:51

When the bush tax cuts expire it will go down to 25K.

Comment by DAB | 2008-11-02 14:17:19

From Slate.com:
Of 20 new statewide polls, 15 show a shift in McCain’s direction. The biggest comes from a SurveyUSA poll in Kansas, where McCain leads 58-37; he led 53-41 in the same poll a week earlier. CNN/Time/Opinion Research Corp. and Quinnipiac polls in Florida showed shifts toward McCain of one and three points, respectively, though both polls still show Obama ahead. The same CNN/Time poll in Missouri shows a one-point shift—within the margin of error—to McCain, who leads 50-48. The largest shift to Obama was in a SurveyUSA poll in Delaware, where he increased his lead from nine points to 30 points. The previous survey was conducted in February. The CNN/Time poll in Georgia shows a three-point shift toward Obama. McCain is still ahead in the state 52-47.—Abby Callard

Comment by Josephine the Plumber | 2008-11-02 15:24:49

Thrown under the campaign bandwagon-bus for becoming a political liability–

Purge the unseemly from the compliant faithful and cast out the troublemakers.

Just little things. Sure.
But when and if this program/pogrom goes national and is backed by actual military power, I fear for our safety.

I know–my tin-foil hat is glowing again. Can’t help it–I’m old and cynical. And I remember history and what happens when a leader is glorified as a savior.

Here’s something else that should frighten the crap out of everyone. Compare this from Huffpo to the one on Hitler below:

So if you’re sitting there at your computer wondering “What in the world is an ‘O-Bama Face’?”, here’s the definition as we’ve, well, defined it:

O-Bama Face (n.): the facial expression made by an Obama supporter when the inspired oration and possibility of a President Obama become almost too much to bear.

It’s the new O-Face. Read up on where we got our inspiration for the O-Bama Face.

This week was chock-full of O-Bama Faces as the senator zig-zagged around the country in his final week of campaigning. See the slideshow below.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/31/o-bama-faces-see-one-week_n_139813.html

In September 1934, American journalist William L. Shirer had just arrived in Germany to work as a reporter for the Hearst company. He proceeded to keep a diary of the entire seven years he spent reporting from inside Hitler’s Reich.

Shirer thought it would be a good idea to attend the 1934 Nuremberg Rally to better understand the Nazi phenomenon. On his very first evening in the old city, he found himself accidentally stuck among a throng of ten thousand people in front of Hitler’s hotel, shouting: “We want our Führer!”

“I was a little shocked at the faces,” Shirer wrote in his diary, “when Hitler finally appeared on the balcony for a moment. They reminded me of the crazed expressions I once saw in the back country of Louisiana on the faces of some Holy Rollers…they looked up at him as if he were a Messiah, their faces transformed into something positively inhuman.”

I truly believe the Obama camp believes every registered Democrat is going to vote for Obama because of the economy. What I don’t get is why anyone believes that a man who has accomplished absolutely nothing to benefit anyone other than himself, can or even will do what he is saying. I never believe anything he says. I am a registered Democrat who voted early in Florida for McCain/Palin because I trust them, there is no trust for Obama or Biden. I didn’t change to independent yet, I will after the election but I want my vote for McCain to be felt by the Democrat Party and the DNC. I voted straight ticket republcan because I really blame the Democrat congress for the housing and credit meltdown. Since they blocked every effort to regulate them. I believe they did it intentionally while raking in money from these ceo’s and companies, but I also believe they believe that a bad economy would ensure Obama a win. How wrong they are.

Comment by Patrick Walker | 2008-11-02 17:17:53

To blame the Democrats for the recent credit meltdown is being excessive. My problems with the Democratic Congress are a bit more … shall we say, of an Iraqi manner.

The tentacles of this financial problem are long and old, and go back well into the 1970s. What people refuse to see is that the world has been in a recession since 1973. Real wages have not increased, prices have gone through the roof and things are generally worse for people. As a 35 year-old engineering graduate, I make about $800 dollar less per year (adjusted for inflation) than my father did in 1973.

There has been a systematic program to bend the US government to the will of a tiny financial elite; no longer the manufacturer of what the world wanted, it’s industry began to decline. Instead of asking why this was so, the elites began to embrace the idea of a “service” economy, particularly financials and they have a vested interest in continuing not to be regulated. What people should be concerned about is how the tax playing field is skewed so badly against manufacturing as to be totally obscene. A corporation like GM generally has a base tax level of about 30% whereas may financial companies are taxed at the capital gains level of about 15%.

Guess where your industry is going to prefer? The “paper” industries of buying and selling to each other, inflating prices and making paper profit. This got the US through the 1980s until the party came crashing down. To get out of the next series of recessions, they either fudged the numbers (1992) or by using some form of bubble (1996-2000) and then (2002-2008). No President or Congress has ever tried to fix the problem … heck … they won’t even admit there is one (and if there is a problem, they blame the other party for it).

To blame the sinking of the Titanic solely on the captain ignores the more important problems of huge design flaws, like inadequate lifeboats. Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac may have been the iceberg that set it off, but it was only a matter of time before something did. The OTC derivatives market makes the MBS madness look absolutely sane and the derivative market mess has not even been discussed nor has it exploded yet, in another one of those “Weapons of Financial Mass Destruction” that Warren Buffet labelled them as.

To blame a highly selective number of recent Democrats for the economic meltdown ignores the role of Republicans who were probably even more eager to deregulate, or as in the case of the shadow banking industry, to not even think about regulating.

What I can’t stand is how some Democrats are blaming Republicans for this mess when they never, ever opposed deregulation and never put forward any attempt to regulate what needed to be regulated…

Obama is a tool. Pelosi is a tool. McCain is a tool. The duopoly in the US is killing it. Like Bacevich wrote once, the American people see the next President as the one who will fix the mistakes of the current one but never putting pressure that they actually fix things because that would cost Americans on a personal level, whether from time away from TV to participate in local and national politics to ensure that problems are properly addressed, or by necessary increases in taxation levels.

Anyways, just my rant.

With few exception my company of 50 is mostly Jewish and they don’t believe he isn’t for Israel. I don’t get it at all. At least in NYC the Jewish vote is going for Obama. That’s why I wished for the Khalidi tape. they just don’t believe it. They think I’m a paranoid fringe person.

Comment by John Smith | 2008-11-02 15:02:53

85% is very low. That is about 4 to 6 points lower then in the 2004 election. Don’t forget that is nation wide. In some areas it is munch higher and of course lower in others.

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-11-02 14:36:46

I just read the drop down on the idb polls [the most accurate in the last two elections; I think 4/10s of a percent in 2004]. The numbers are very encouraging, yet the newsreports and pundits are gloom and doom.

I’m telling you if Johnny Mac pulls this out it will be one of the greatest upsets in history!

Let’s hope Truman’s ghost is out there watching and waiting and working in mysterious ways!

McCain/Palin

Comment by Shiloh | 2008-11-02 13:05:18

I have to think there are large discrepancies between the published polls and the internal polls. If I thought McCain was really down in the published state polls by what they say I would agree he won’t come back from that barring a bombshell. I’m in Ohio and confident here. I just can’t believe BO has a chance in NC or VA. It seems like PA will go to whoever has the best final push. I’m not worried about MO and I don’t buy that BO is up 5 in CO.

If I’m wrong this year I will never doubt the polls again. But I believe their assumptions are just pulled out of their butts especially on party mix and confidence in new voters. The longer the msm has it already won by Obama, they may even be suppressing their new voter turnout that the polls themselves have factored in so heavily.

Comment by Geo | 2008-11-02 13:15:43

The polls are hosed. This election has a number of factors which renders the Polls meaningless.

1. Natural LEFTY BIAS
2. Operation Chaos
3. PUMAS have been lying to pollsters on purpose
4. Sane people hang up on them %80 of time
5. Huge number of undecideds, means leave me alone.
6. Some Pollsters are using UNTESTED models this year

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-11-02 16:00:18

That 80% hang up on Pollsters is a very significant number!! This is a shocking number really.

Also the fact that nearly all the polling companies are over sampling based on “information” they get from the O-zero campaign about the millions of “new” voters. AND most people who hear the polling “results” do NOT understand what over sampling is — nor do they understand margin of error.

Comment by BettsAZ | 2008-11-03 01:24:34

If the polls(always weighted to benefit Democrats) are only based on the number of voter “registrations” and not WHO that voter actually voted for, then it is very possible that these polls may be off by a long shot. With ACORN “registering” a person 72 times, are they counting that as 72 “votes” for Obama?

Oh yeah, and those so-called “insignificant” PUMA Democrats voting for McCain…
nah…”moving right along,nothing to see here,folks…/heh.

“New politics” was out when the One smeared Hillary Clinton as a serial liar, used the right-wing attacks she endured against her, played the race card against the Clintons in the most disgusting underhanded display imaginable.

Yes, everyone who runs against the One is a racist and serial liar.

My question is: where has the Republican machine been against this charlatan thug?

First they give us the catastrophe Bush that makes the thug Obama’s ascension possible, then they virtually stand aside and let it all happen. Sooo uncustomary given their past record.

What gives Repugs? You should be effing ashamed.

Comment by BerlinBerlin | 2008-11-02 13:41:57

Well, I think they leaned from what happened to Hillary.
The truth did not matter, every attack against him fired back.
So they left Wright in the closet.
Even the fact that Fannie and Freddy were Dem productions did not matter.
McCain has warned, did not matter.
BO gets ahead because the economy is down.
Regarding this the McCain camaign has done a good job.
The whole race thing fires back, BO was waiting for them to bring it up.

No, this is the truth, and he knows it. Not one to impute thoughts into people’s heads, I must say, for as long as the MSM failed to do its job, the fact that BO has virtually no paper trail – birth certificate; Illinois state senate files, including calendar or phone log; and Occidental College / Columbia University / Harvard Law School transcripts, among others – did not outright exclude him from consideration. But as soon as he loses the election, everything will come out. Those who supported him now will abandon him, and harden the next generation to the intoxicating influence of the next charlatan who comes along.

This morning I caught one of MSNBC’s female hosts said that all undecided voters were white and then she made the case that if you’re still an undecided voter it must be a racial issue.

Said another way …

…if you’re white and undecided 2 days before the election you must be a racist!

Wow – another twist on the racist meme.

Of course it defies ALL LOGIC.

If you are a racist then you made up your mind a long time ago that you would not vote for the Black Guy.

No way in hell would a true racist be an undecided voter this late in the game.

But logic doesn’t matter, the host and the Demcrat advisor made this leap of twisted logic with a problem.

Now, there was a Republican advisor there but he was barely given a chance to speak and the Dem got the last word.

I think if you timed it the Dem got two chances to sell this bunk (about four minutes) and the Republican was on camera about 1 minute to refute, his last sentence cut off.

Wow. It’s almost comical if it weren’t true.

Susan –

When you look back on Election Day years from now, you’ll tell your friends and family that this was the moment you helped make history.

You could also have a story to share about how you were right in the middle of it at the big Election Night event in Chicago.

You could be one of 5 donors to go backstage on Election Night, as long as you give one last time — in any amount –before Sunday at midnight.

If you’re selected, you and a guest will be flown to Chicago, put up in a hotel, and given a front row seat to history.

And if you make a donation of $30 or more today, you’ll also receive a “Change the World” T-shirt.

Many racists that I’ve seen on the web want Obama to win. They think that he will screw up so badly that it will be good for their cause. They believe that racial tensions will increase, possibly even to fighting between whites and blacks, and that their numbers will rise.

So, I always think it’s funny when pundits say racists are voting for McCain.

Comment by bell'artista | 2008-11-02 15:11:04

Sometimes it’s hard to know what’s really true but I heard an interview on NPR with a bunch of people from Aryan Nation.
They were saying that their membership has sky rocketed since Obama began running for president and that are advocating all their members to vote for Obama because , more than anything, they want a race war and for several states to sucede. They believe that if O wins the election that a race war is inevitable…….so they say they will vote for him.

True? I dunno……
maybe.
I do agree that race relations have been set back 40 years with Obama running and if he is president, it won’t be good.

You nailed it Larry. I knew (what seems forever ago now) that BO was exactly that, when he endorsed Richard “there is no Chicago Machine” Daley last year. I was open to his candidacy until that day. Perhaps that is why I was always immune to the “Obama Effect”. While I didn’t agree with Hillary on everything, I admire and respect her, and knew who and what I would get. I admire and respect John McCain, and I know who and what I will get. If anyone had told me 2 years ago I would vote a straight republic ticket in 08 I would have laughed. But that is exactly what I did when I voted-the Dems have gone beyond jumping the shark and I will not vote for another until they straighten up their act. (or unless they run under the new PUMA party brand).

1-call family, friends this weekend and -make sure they know where they have to go to vote & ask if they need a ride.If they do, arrange for one.

2- Call your local Republican office and volunteer to work as OBSERVER at your local poll.

BY LAW, polling clerks MUST provide duplicate list of local registered voters at each polling location.
Polling clerks are supposed to update this list EVERY HOUR and keep it available for public review.

Check with your local Republican headquarters if anyone has been assigned to particular polling locations in your neighborhood to review this list.

If no one has been assigned, offer to go look through the book at around 5 or 6pm and see which registered voters names HAVE NOT BEEN CROSSED OFF YET.

IF their names have not been crossed off, it means they have not voted yet. If they have not voted yet, copy their phone numbers & CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY.

The book contains names, phone numbers, and addresses of the registered voters.

Call these registered voters who have not voted yet and remind them what time polls close, ask if they know which poll site they have to go to vote, ask t hem if they need help getting to the polls.Do this right up until the polls close.

PLEASE…THIS WILL BE A VERY VERY Tight race.
We need to make sure the registered voters vote.

Please copy this message and pass it on to friends and family and neighbors and colleagues.
