To Peggy Sue and all those here like her. Kudos on your position to stand shoulder to shoulder with us Republicans. I would have voted for Hillary this year but I had that opportunity "stolen" from me.

As for your knowledge of the political structure "tillthen", it's pretty thin. She has to keep up the appearance in ord to maintain the support she will need later. Idolatry is not the issue here but determined support is.

Peniel,

Thank you for giving expression to my heartache and dismay with the Democratic Party. This campaign season has been such a terrible rude awakening. Like you, I thought the Democratic Party was 'above' Rovian tactics and cherished the same ideas/ideals as I have had since I first became interested in politics with the candidacy of Robert Kennedy. I Really believed in the Democratic Party and taught my children to believe in Democratic ideals from the time they were young children. My greatest pain has been to be at odds with these same children (now grown) who have drunk the Obama 'koolaid.' I can't reach them for how do I explain that I was So Wrong??? This campaign season the Democratic Party has proven that it's no better than the Republican Party. It has demonstrated that it too has taken on the mantra of 'win at all costs' and the rampid sexism and racism it has nourished have absolutely mortified me.

The Country has been So divided since the 2000 election and Obama has exploited the deep anger a lot of lifetime Democrats have felt for the past 8 years. I don't know that he would have been successful were it not for the terrible abuses of the Bush administration. My fear is that because of those abuses, Obama will succeed. I've heard Many Democrats, including those who are Completely aware of how much of a fraud Obama is that even Obama is better than 4 more years of Any Republican running the White House. They're hoping Biden will be able to 'make up for' Obama's gross inexperience, maturity and depth. I've argued with many of them and have been completely unable to change the minds of a single one of them including my beloved sons.

Keeping the hope that McCain can deliver the vote tomorrow but fearful that he won't. Never thought the time would come that I would be praying for a Republican to win the Presidency; my heart is heavy.

Sure, I can see a scenario where Clinton could make a run in 2012. Pelosi, Reid, et al have clearly demonstrated their willingness to 'eat their own' and if Obama were to become President and accomplish little to nothing in office (which I expect will be the case)or is singularly unimpressive and unable to turn the country around (which I also expect to be the case), the DNC and the rest of the gang won't have Any problem turning on him in 2012. Hillary Gained more and more supporters as the primary season went on and is now viewed by the majority of the Country as someone 'ready to lead.'

It wouldn't be the first time a Democrat ran against a sitting Democratic President - think Bobby Kennedy 1968 and Ted Kennedy 1980. IF Obama wins he is Not going to turn our economy around in 4 years; Bill Clinton didn't do it in that short of period of time and he was a whole lot smarter than Obama is and had umpteen years of Executive experience. Unless the Obama idolatry continues, I expect that if he wins he'll be a one-term President.

soldier4hillary this is the end of the Dem party being the party of blacks. It was heading there but this signifies the end. You have a future in the R party if you want it.

P. Diddy a black leader!?

I wouldn't pray for a McCain Palin victory, I'd be more of a mind to want to keep this democracy and our U.S. Constitution intact, if I were you, than to put someone in office who'd do the most to destroy it. Both McCain and Palin are very much big government, more government intrusion, when you actually listen to what they say than can even be claimed against Obama.

Sorry, but if this GOP is going to vote big government, I'll vote for the candidate who is admitting to it honestly. That would be Senator Obama.

This would be a fine place to talk to the voters about a little something that came out this evening. It was not on CNN, it was on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." McCain/Palin running amok declaring how Obama so hated the coal industry that he was willing to bankrupt it. However, that was not how Obama had exactly put it. Not when you listened to the soundbite of some time ago. That was not exactly how he put it. While CNN produced this particular video clip, they did not run a video file that "The Daily Show" had unearthed, a McCain bill as it related to the coal industry, that according to his critic in the Senate, would bankrupt the coal industry. Leave it to Bay Buchannan to misrepresent Obama and leave it to Anderson Cooper to get scooped by Comedy Central.

Who has heard of "Let Freedom Ring" beyond their ads? Bet you that actually no one has until a few weeks ago. How about the National Republican Trust PAC? They didn't start appearing until days ago. Well, Let Freedom Ring has just put out a cold war ad, we need nuclear weapons in an age when effectively the Cold War is over. And proceeds to whine at Obama because he isn't for keeping up a nuclear presence in a post Cold War situation. What I am hearing in the election eve ad, is a group of people who went from merely radical to purely delusional. Apparently, they haven't heard that our economy has gone bust. Our military has been seriously damaged trying to fight two wars without end. Before we can hope to restore this nation to a great power, we must first revitalize our economy and then our military. Now, against what do we employ existing nuclear weapons? Unless Let Freedom Rings wants to start some nuclear Armageddon with their ad. Think about it, as you read all of the above.

Just saw Newt explain on FOX that the largest percentage of early voters in Georgia was, Hang onto Something... Women who voted in both 2000 and 2004... sound like anybody so many of you see in the mirror?
WOOT!
What is significant is that the early voters are NOT young Obama voters. They are PUMAs!

New Troopergate report clears Palin
By LISA DEMER

(Just part of he article)

But the new report says the Legislature's investigator was wrong to conclude that Palin abused her power by allowing aides and her husband, Todd, to pressure Monegan and others to dismiss her ex-brother-in-law, Trooper Mike Wooten. Palin was accused of firing Monegan after Wooten stayed on the job.

The Palins have argued that Wooten was a loose cannon who had tasered his stepson, drank beer in his patrol car, and threatened Palin's father, and that their complaints that he shouldn't be on the force were justified.

The Troopergate matter became sharply politicized after Palin was announced as Republican presidential candidate John McCain's running mate in Tuesday's election.

The report, released at a Monday afternoon press conference at the Hotel Captain Cook, presents the findings and recommendations of Anchorage lawyer Timothy Petumenos, hired as independent counsel for the Personnel Board to examine several complaints against Palin.

Petumenos wrote the Legislature's special counsel, former state prosecutor Steve Branchflower, used the wrong state law as the basis for his conclusions and also misconstrued the evidence.

I do not believe the Polls. I'm not saying McCain will win, but I believe it's close. I live in upstate NY and the majority of Democrats I know, are not voting for Obama. What I'm worried about are the exit polls tomorrow. They will not be right either. Remember NH in the primaries. The polls and the Exit Polls were both wrong. The Media could make it seem like Obama won and keep the McCain voters home in the West. We all need to vote.

Alice!
Luv Ya Back!
I'm not down or negative here but I just wanted to tell you a thing I used to teach my ballplayers... and its something I deeply believe...
Never quit a fight
and if you lose the fight, go down with your teeth in his leg...
There is no time limit on this game... Losing only happens when you stop fighting.
Even after we put Obama back in the box, we must fight on.
If you need to focus on a thought tonight, sisters and brothers, perhaps this could substitute for worry.
Tonight as you go to sleep, focus on what WE do next to rid our beloved nation of this sickness. Who, AFTER OBAMA IS GONE, do we get rid of next?
Make your choices detailed. Have a plan. If we are truly to clean house, we better be ready.
Guys, this is what acting in Faith is all about!
We can't change anything else. We are doing what we can and IT IS AWESOME! We can now sit back and watch, or be ready for what we are saying is going to happen and get a plan for who we 'do in' next.
It beats wringing your hands... and dammit, you guys are smart. There are plans to be made. Get to it!
