You Betcha!

Comment by Dawnelle Leona del Puma | 2008-11-03 13:33:36

How does this attitude not surprise me from the radical loony left!

I thought they were crazed enough when I was a DEM but now I think perhaps some of them SHOULD be institutionalized as a national priority!! They’re certifiable!

Comment by Tuppence411 | 2008-11-03 12:36:20

Yes! The cops or better yet, the FBI. What the heck! Why is it Joe can be threated with death and Sarah hung and blown up without any repercussions- but every word or act against Obama real or perceived is treated as a federal hate crime?????????? Where is the justice in that. Crazy Obots have invaded Joe’s privacy. It is reasonable to assume a delusional Obot may try to hurt him.

Comment by McPalin Hill | 2008-11-03 13:03:40

tuppence — What scares me is that Joe the Plumber asked a question that Obama answered in a stupid way and now Joe’s life has to be turned upsidedown. He has to be investigated by the State officials in Ohio for what? The FBI should look into this. A Radio Talk Show host should not be on the air talking about murdering someone. He should be fired — NOW. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with these Obama loonies.

Comment by Lizzie Struthers | 2008-11-03 13:42:22

Yes. That is the essence of it. He just asked a freaking question. That’s it. That’s all he did.

Then the Obama machine came in, this time led by Obama himself, and attacked him.

If you’re going to sack this looney then you should also sack Obama. For in this case he pretty much started the whole thing.

Don’t ask crooks questions. Important lesson. Something the upstanding citizens of Palermo, Taormina, et al have long ago learned. Today it’s a part of the Daley era in US federal politics.

Congratulations, United States! You have your first really down dirty and corrupt administration in a long long time! You asked for it! Let’s go to those college campuses with all those ‘besserwissers’ and get out the vote!

Barf. Poor Joe. The only vindication left is to see Obama humiliated tomorrow. We still hope for it.

Don’t you realize that he will probably be part of the new National Homeland Security Squad? We can all look forward to being threatened. Brownshirts coming…

Thank god Joe The Plumber would knock this a–hole on his keister. And I’d PAY to see that.

I’m from the SF Bay Area — Karel is a gay liberal talk show host. I don’t listen to him, but he’s obviously not giving the gay community a very good image these days.

Comment by McPalin Hill | 2008-11-03 13:06:18

Blueray — this guy should be taken off the air immediately.

Comment by Blueray98 | 2008-11-03 13:13:31

Comment by DAB | 2008-11-03 13:22:53

I wonder if HuffPo will write an article about this incident??????

Comment by McPalin | 2008-11-03 13:56:21

A guy named Karel, sounds like Carol..hahahahha.

Comment by oowawa | 2008-11-03 13:15:13

Wikipedia has an article on Karel. Among other things:

Karel and his on and off-air partner, Andrew Howard, started in radio together at KYPA Los Angeles in addition to Triangle Broadcasting based in Palm Springs. For the latter, they hosted the program “Good Morning Gay America”.

Following Andrew’s untimely demise, Karel went on to win a battle in appellate court in Los Angeles that allowed him to sue as a domestic partner in the alleged malpractice in Andrew’s death. His court victory effectively rewrote the wrongful death laws in California, making them retroactive.

On June 5, 2004, Karel opened his weekend KGO program with a clip of The Wizard of Oz song, “Ding-Dong the Witch is Dead!” as a “tribute” to former President Ronald Reagan, who had died earlier that day.

Comment by LD | 2008-11-03 12:31:38

Wouldn’t the FCC and federal authorities investigate this for “threatening the health and well being of an American citizen?”
What position does the radio station take?

Not sure that this venomous diatribe makes the grade in the category of “ask not what your country can do for you….”.

Another disaffected liberal phonie.

Comment by Woman Voter | 2008-11-03 12:54:01

I see three problems:

1) A violation of the FCC (the station goes out to several states and even other nations).

2) He inserted a statement advocating ‘hate & violence’ during the ‘OFFICIAL NEWS SEGMENT’ of the radio station. KGO is part of Capital Cities and Disney.

3) The station has a moral obligation to report via their representatives to Joe the Plumber that their host has advocated harm/violence…OK DEATH to him/his person. They also have a contractual obligation to the community/listeners to take action for such an egregious act by their radio host and in addition issue an apology.

Comment by Woman Voter | 2008-11-03 12:59:52

This bothers me to my core, because if the station is not proactive in their duties, this type of hate advocacy will increase and will serve to silence us as a people.

Joe had every right to ask a question and had every right to be in his neighborhood. A free society is Free because of the Right to Free Speech. Once that is trampled upon, it is down hill from there.

I don’t like extremism on either side (Right or Left) and when we see it we must see it for what it is.

Comment by Crystal | 2008-11-03 12:32:31

It’s exactly like the Hillary flip-off. I consider myself pretty “itchy” sometimes, but I never find the need to scratch my face while talking to others. Obama rubs his face quite a few times…why? How often does one find oneself using their middle finger for random acts of scratching?

Comment by DAB | 2008-11-03 13:30:52

I agree — it seems that particular digit always seems to “emerge” at the most opportune moments. How he gets away with claiming that he doesn’t practice petty politics is beyond me. On second thought, maybe he’s correct — he descends way below even the pettiest of politics.

Uh bullshit. Maybe to someone who believes in “Fundamentally Transforming” the United States a “radical nut” is someone who believes in the traditional understanding of America… but we’re not the nuts.

take a look at this full on bird-flip by obama to McCain at today’s rally:
http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2123635/posts

the ticker-caption is ironic…”Obama: it is time for a change”
Right. truer words were never written only obama is NOT the change we need.

For anyone to hate someone they don’t even know just for asking a question???? No, let me take that back…he doesn’t just hate him, he wants him dead???!!! The guy is crazy. He needs to be committed.

I wish we had another “Australia” to send the Obama criminals to.

Comment by dave e | 2008-11-03 12:56:17

What the hell are you yapping about. You and these other radical freaks go on and on about Obama and company and you don’t know squat about him. All you know is what the other nuts dream up or conjure up in the tiny little brains. Joe the plumber is the dunce he sounded like when first introduced, for McCain to use this dufus nothing on the stage with him is the best evidence of his sinking ship.

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:12:30

He already did.

Just kidding. But in all seriousness, he has a point. You guys rail on Obama pretty bad. That’s fine, its your right. But I think maybe you all (not all obviously, but quite a few) take it a bit far.
I hear all the time that the “Obots” spew hatred and such, but for every hate-spewing Obot, there one of you, ready to spew hate at Obama.

Fairs fair. You (not particularly you, but many here) cant complain about something that you actively partake in. Its called hypocrisy.

Comment by benny | 2008-11-03 13:14:56

another senseless obot. ;)

Comment by Leisa | 2008-11-03 13:33:19

We think Obama is not qualified to be on the ticket for POTUS. He has been dishonest about his past and associates. The media has had a double standard on how they cover the candidates and Obama and his surrogates have gotten a pass on many dirty tricks and lies.

Yes, we are upset about that and we will vent.

That is pretty different than a radio host saying that he wants a private citizen dead in the middle of the news broadcast…

You were not here during the primaries or since to see the troll obot attacks, so what do you really know?
Now what were you saying about hypocrisy??

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:42:18

I say the same thing I said last time.

You have every right to vent. The man up top is crazy. I never said he wasn’t.

I was simply saying that many people here say baseless crap about Obama. Just like many say crap about McCain. And yet you only criticize those who rail on McCain, but consider your own unfair diatribes to be perfectly ok. Thats hypocrisy.

If you want to claim a moral high ground, dont rail on us just because we support Obama. Engage us in real discourse. Dont just write us off as “trolls” and “obots”.

Ps. I had nothing to do with the previous attacks, so I dont see why I should have to be called names because of other peoples’ stupidity.

Comment by benny | 2008-11-03 13:48:16

discourse with a troll? yeah right. an absolute waste of time. read the articles here at NQ. If you still dont get it, you never will. ;)

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:58:30

For christ’s sake. I’m not here to troll.

But hey, if you think I’m a troll, then you know what they say: “dont feed the trolls.”

Comment by Idiocracy08 | 2008-11-03 17:07:24

I get what you’re trying to say, but the difference here is this is an anti-obama website. we’re going to rail on obama. most here are voting for mccain, so we won’t rail on mccain.

hypocracy? maybe. but i’m not at a pro-obama website talking trash about him there. that’s the difference in my eyes.

We don’t hate Obarfbag, Goober, and you know it. What I will say about your low-density Polyethylene Messiah is that he is unfit, unqualified, and dangerous. Nothing hateful there. And you can’t refute a word of it because you know nothing about him that would disprove any of those assertions.

Checkmate, obamalobotobot. Next.

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:55:58

There are quite a few people here who do hate Obama. Would they call him “Ohitler” if they didn’t?

As for your argument. I beleive that he’s perfectly fit and qualified. He has shown judgement that many of our most senior senators have not. He is not dangerous. He does not have nearly as much of a temper as his opponent. He is calm and the kind of guy I would trust to meet foreign leaders.
Most importantly though, I believe we need new blood, and I just dont think McCain has that anymore.
Dont get me wrong, I like McCain. I just think he has compromised what I liked just a bit too much to win. I dont blame him. I blame his campaign managers.

Comment by benny | 2008-11-03 14:00:29

lol. delusional.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-11-03 14:21:41

What judgement? A speech which may or may not have even been given does not constitute qualification for high office. Apparently running for office is his only verifiable qualification. As for fitness–how do we know since he won’t release his medical records? I’d say he has NPD and if he does, he is dangerous. But again, we can’t be sure because he won’t release his medical records.

Checkmate, again asshat. Try convincing your master to release all his records so we can be the judge. Otherwise, dry the hell up.

You have to actually win an argument before you can say checkmate, asshat.

His judgement? Hello? He was one of few people who disagreed with the Iraq war from the start. Remember that one? The one which the vast majority of Americans and senators supported at the time? The one which the vast majority of people now believe was really dumb? Yeah. That one.

Thats called “judgement”. The kind you trust to keep you out of shit, not tell you you’re in shit once you’re already in.

Comment by benny | 2008-11-03 14:40:45

Give me the link to the speech, Chester. I still have no proof he ever gave it. And besides, I was against the war before he was. So using your logic, I am qualified to be president. A speech does not make him qualified and a speech which may or may not have been given is even less of a qualification. You are also insane if you think your posting of untreated, unmitigated, unprovable hogwash is going to convince anyone to vote for your unqualified, unfit, dangerous non-entity, Oblowhard.

Oh yeah, and that judgment of his is so great that he has Ayers, Rezko, and Wright for friends.

Millions of people disagreed with the Iraq war at the start, I marched with them. However, we are there and we are WINNING and I’m happy as hell about that! BO said that even though the surge was working he would vote against it again. THAT IS NUTS!

Comment by Idiocracy08 | 2008-11-03 17:13:04

can i answer this one????

it’s really easy to say you’re against the war. he was not a senator and didn’t have a vote on it. he didn’t have the people he represents telling him he should vote for it. he didn’t have any of the phony intelligence that was given to congress. when asked by tim russert in 2004, he said he may have voted to go to war. then he said he agreed w/bush on the war.

he didn’t have to vote on it. we’re talking about a time that bush kept saying “i don’t need the congress to go to war with iraq”. i knew the man meant it. the vote was SUPPOSED to be war as the last resort – after inspections.

not only that, he sure as hell doesn’t mind chosing a VP or taking endorsements from the people in congress who voted for it.

What the hell are YOU yapping about? I never once mentioned Obama in that post that you replied to. I said the talk show guy was sick for wanting someone dead. He’s wanting someone dead for just asking a simple question, and you call ME a radical freak??

Why do you hate Joe the Plumber so much? Cause one little simple question made Obama look like the fool he is. Or are you jealous of Joe the Plumber? McCain should be singing to Obama “don’t you wish your supporters were as great as mine??!!”

You’re right, I don’t know squat about Obama. That’s one reason I won’t vote for him. I’m not listening to what “other nuts” come up with…I’m listening to his own voice talk about bankrupting the coal mines, bitter people, No to FISA / Yes to FISA. It’s that freakshow himself that made me not want to vote for him. The minute he praised REAGAN in nevada, I knew he was a flim flam, shady, used car salesman type that would never be honest with us.

I know you’re just trying to piss people off by what you’re writing. That’s fine. I’m bored here at work today, so I have all day to screw back with you!

Hugo Chavez’ Venezuela —> That Way!!

Now he may not know what the hell it means to be an American but Maybe someone who is not an American Citizen can help him out:

From last night’s QoD

Jester from India sends us an important message

I’ve been a silent spectator here for most of this election season. I come to hotair because it is a haven of sorts for people who believe in free-market economics, small government and democracy. I believe in all of those. The only way in which I differ from quite a few of you is that I’m halfway across the world, in India (no, I do not work in tech support, and no, I cannot and will not fix your computer :D ) and cannot vote in this election of yours.

But I’m following the election very closely because the world seems to be at a tipping point, precariously balanced on a peak. On one side of the peak lie Capitalism and freedom, on the other side lie socialism and misery. The next president of the US will determine the direction the US takes, and let’s be honest, with a democrat controlled legislature, a president Obama could ram full-blown socialism down the world’s throat in less than a year.

I’ve lived in a socialist country. Socialism destroyed my country for 45 years after we gained independence. But the last decade and a half, we’ve moved towards capitalism and free markets, and I’ve seen it work with my own eyes.

If the US gives up on free-markets, the world will follow suit. The US has been a beacon of freedom (economic and otherwise) for decades, and has served as an example for nations around the world. This election is about people who want to snuff that beacon. This is for the soul of the world.

I see many people here feeling despair at every little thing McCain or his campaign does. I see people here who scream that the media is in the tank, but accept that Obama is inevitable with the very next breath. I see people cribbing about holding their nose and voting for McCain, as if they’re doing others a favour.

WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?

If you’re giving up right now with two days to go, shame on you! You don’t deserve to be a pimple on George Washington’s behind!

And then I see people like ManlyRash, rallying the troops, so to speak. I cannot estimate the effect hotair has on the elections – nobody can, but understand this. The effect is very much there. I’ve learned more about Politics from this site (and Captain’s Quarters before that) than from all the major newspapers combined. And if you’re affecting my opinion all the way here in India, think of the effect you guys are having in your own country.

Don’t give up hope. Don’t sit idle in despair. Get up, get up, get up and fight with the old bastard. He’s suffered boatloads for you all. Do this to respect his sacrifice. Do this to respect those 5 years of freedom he gave up to fight for yours. I would be proud to vote for a man like him.

I’m going to repeat what ManlyRash has been saying for ages now – McCain’s going to win, and win big! Get off your butts and drag him across the line. Play your part in saving the world’s soul.

I think am more upset seeing this flip off of McCain than I am when I saw the one to Hillary. McCain does not deserve this. He is a man that suffered enough for the country more than a lot of use will ever do.

People don’t have to agree with him or like his politics but I do feel its rather disgusting for Obama to flip Mc Cain off. Obama wants to be President and that is all the respect you will show a man older than he is, a man that gave his life for the safety and service to this country?

No Obama is wrong very wrong at this point and he should immediately apologize to McCain, even if he says that is not what he did, then he should apologize for it being misinterpreted that is the only decent thing for him to do.

Comment by Urban Hillbilly | 2008-11-03 12:58:36

Comment by dave e | 2008-11-03 13:08:06

OK, once again, enough is enough. How in the hell did McCain give his life for his country, how is he some kind of military expert or better yet a hero. Hey, dummies, he got shot down, the winners don’t get shot down. He spent the entire Viet Nam fiasco in a prison, albeit not too comfortably but certainly not in the field fighting and saving lives. And for those of you who have this love for McCain the military man; his father and grand farther were high ranking admirals in the navy he little Johnny nearly got kicked out of the naval academy 5 times for conduct unbecoming and flunking too many classes. Even with as much pull as anyone could have he graduated second lowest in his class. Those instructors at the time said it was mostly to get him out of their hair. And by the way, hot shot McCain crashed three planes in practice, at the time a new record. He flew 23 missions when he got shot down. The average number of missions his naval aviator buddies flew was 550 without getting shot down. Please, Gomer Pyle is a better military hero.

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:46:52

If you read articles on any other websites, maybe you would quite seeing everything from one side.

Part of the reason I come to this site is to get a clearer view on everything. Its the same reason I watch Fox. The same reason I watch CNN and MSNCBC. The same reason why I read and watch foreign press. It gives me a better idea of the whole.

Just reading the articles on this website is just like the Russians only listening to what Lenin told them (no offense. I dont consider anyone here to be bad people, just the only example that came to mind). Its propaganda. Not that its false, but its not the whole truth.

Comment by Not convinced | 2008-11-03 13:36:20

The reason why you at NQ have “learned so much about Obama” is because NQ is clearly a biased source of information. They give you all the bad news so that you can feed yourself with it.

Go to a pro-obama blog, and you will find plenty of information yourself. I assume I dont have to feed that to you as well?

He looks like he fits one of the profiles that is attracted to Obama:

Socially misfit.

Uncertain Sexual Preference.

Motivated by hate and violence.

Bully whose size is all that he has going for him and completely dependent on the weakness of others.

You could see many of these in St. Paul demonstrating at the Republican Convention. Not one with an individual moral or political center. They were there for the hate and violence, so obvious by their thuggish behavior. Definitely not for the thesis, “Make love, not war.”

“Uncertain Sexual Preference.”

Woah hey! Thats not very nice.
Even if more homosexuals do support Obama, theres no need to point it out like its something that horrid, right below “socially misfit” and “motivated by hate and violence”.

Obama needs mental help. Perhaps medication (instead of self medicating as he does).

Joe the Plumber asks a question, Obama gaffes, then he has a tantrum and sends his minions to attack the messenger.

No McCain closes in during the final hours, Obama gives him the finger.

Just like he did to Hillary yet denied.

I got 99 problems but a corrupt, empty suit from Chicago’s cesspool political machine ain’t one of them.

Nobody talks like Karel and is a tough guy. I’ve had some very dangerous gay friends in my life… tough knows no gender… but this Douche doesn’t appear to qualify.
“I want to see Joe the Plumber dead” is not a manly way to phrase that. In fact, its just the opposite. He is praying to some unknown power to make it so he could see Joe dead. He has no capacity to perform the act himself. What he was really saying was that he knew that Joe the Plumber had served a death stroke to Obama’s campaign and he was pouting.
Karel is no threat to anyone unless it has to do with some bitch stealing his new squeeze.
I’d say “fuck him” but that is not a mental picture I’m going to let in my head!

Just because someone disagrees with Joe (I for one disagree heartily, but thats irrelevant) doesnt make it ok to threaten him, or whatever the guy did. Truly sad.

I don’t know what’s wrong with people. I work in an office full of Obots, always yelping and barking about The One. They’re annoying, but I don’t want them dead.

I had an interesting experience over the weekend. The Obots have come to my house TWICE — Saturday was the third time. They usually hunt in pairs, but this time there were three from the unions. I said I was undecided (which I’m not — I guess I was a bit intimidated) and when I said that I didn’t think that Barky had enough experience, the Obot started to talk about his years as a community organizer. Uh, we’re talking about Leader of The Free World, not running for senior class prez. One of them was pretty aggressive and wanted me to come out so I could talk to her, but I said no. Anyway, a youngish Obot from the teacher’s union gave me a handout with a handwritten note that said “please come out and vote, it’s going to be really close.”Now, if Barky is going to win PA and the rest of the country in a landslide, why would an Obot say that? And why would they come out three times to annoy me? But one thing I’ll say is — Barky has some dedicated volunteers. I haven’t heard anything from the McCain people — maybe they just gave up on Philly.

Cheer up, my peeps, it ain’t over yet!

Comment by Steve_in_KC | 2008-11-03 13:47:41

And these people going door to door… you like that kind of thing? Did they persuade you to change your vote?

Frankly, I don’t answer the door for canvassers and I hang up on pollsters. And I am DEFINITELY NOT “undecided.” I just don’t trust Obot thugs. Maybe the folks at your door look clean-cut, but if they have a list with your name and address on it saying you are voting McCain, are you comfortable with that?

My real point in replying is this:
Many of us would like to help McCain, but going door to door in battleground areas takes more nerve than I have. Also, that’s a young person’s job, usually, and I can’t walk around the block. But even if I was able-bodied, I wouldn’t feel safe. That’s the real reason you don’t see McCain supporters going door to door or putting McCain stickers on their cars or in their yards. The Obot thugs are dangerous, and we can do more to help win this election by circulating emails and posting on blogs than we can by arguing politics on doorsteps.

Comment by McPalin Hill | 2008-11-03 13:49:57

philly — These are paid Obamabots so of course they are aggressive. But its interesting that they say it will be close. I saw a poll a couple of days ago which shows McCain leading Obama by 20% in Pa with 10% undecided. The poll also shows that McCain will win 37% of Democrats to Obama’s 47%. Sounds like a scary senario for a man who says he will win in a landslide. The old adage is if you are winning you say you are working for every vote and if you are losing you say you will win big.

Obama could be in danger of depressing his own vote. Dems will pass on voting if they think its in the bag.

Apparently he has now put down his gun but won’t surrender – and the siege goes on…

If it were me, I would be pressing charges ASAP. These kind of statements give the looney’s the permission to do harm to another human being.

Obama couldn’t fight his way out of a paperbag, but can we see Obama and his 20 year associations and friendships for what they are. Obama is not alone.

Obama had to bend over backwards to Farrahkan before he could even have a political future in Chicago. And, Farrahkan has called him the messiah, which for Farrahkan is the “chosen one” for the Nation of Islam. Forget what we normally think of the word messiah, especially in Christian terms.

Farrahkan was announcing how he has chosen Obama. I hope everyone can understand the motivation behind the message.

Farrahkan is 75 years old and no doubt will relish the opportunity to dismember the United States to his liking, if Obama is elected. He has probably been salivating for months and has prepared for this moment for years.

Ayers will be coming out with his book about racism. Words he wanted to speak about 30 years ago. Just another monster who has been waiting on the sidelines for another opportuity to turn the U.S. upside down.

Obama isn’t naive, dumb, careless, his flip-flops are meant to confuse. He knows what he is doing. Farrahkan, Wright, Ayers, Al Mansour, Kahdili, etc. and no doubt we can look forward to a host of other associations getting ready to come out of the woodwork.

We can’t even get Obama to show his original COLB and BC. How the heck are we going to get him out of office if he is elected.

Obama better be careful with his words, it’s against the law to incite unrest. Mayor Daley want everyone to attend the Grant Park shindig, I don’t think Daley wants any of Obama’s thugs at any other part of Chicago. let them amass at Grant Park so their riots is contained in one open space.

riots during the Bulls championships in the 90’s were bad enough. some of these thugs in Chicago just need an excuse to riot and loot.

I have always thought that GWB was stunted by never fulling addressing his drug and alcohol use; emotional maturity is thought to stop at the age you were when addiction began…if left unaddressed.

Obama has the same problem. Before, during and after his drug use he was filled with hate for America and our constitution. His approach is that of a emotional 12 year old. There is nothing I hate more is when people attack military and vets because Barack Obama associates and takes campaign donations from the same people who would do us harm. Let me explain something to you dave. In the words of Theodore Roosevelt:

“Patriotism means to stand by your country. It does not mean to stand behind the president or any other public official.”

Obama’s unpatriotic supporters are worse than scum in my eyes. To criticize what you don’t understand is one thing. But putting down the service Senator McCain has done for his country is another. You can argue the facts, you can argue on the issues. But unless you have walked in his shoes, and the same path he was on, I would recommend shutting up, and sitting down, and let us adults take it from here.

What you people don’t realize is that we are going to send his ass back to Chicago on the first thing smokin. The only house he will see is his own. The only way he will SEE the White House is if Gov Palin invites him there. You are a direct reflection of your candidate. The military and our surrogates are EVERYWHERE. And we know how to read. You sit on your computers and insult, demean, and ridicule something you dont even have the goddamn balls to do yourself

I may not agree on all of the issues of the McCain/Palin ticket but if Barack Obama intends to win my state he will have to pry North Carolina’s electorial votes from my dead, cold, lifeless, fingers. The silent majority will speak tomorrow. They chose not to listen. They chose to ignore our votes, they didnt listen to our voices, and they RUINED the values of the Democratic party.

It will be a cold day in hell before anyone stands behind a man that inspired the kind of hate for anyone in uniform as your chosen candidate does. You, his supporters, are one of the reasons why he will not meet with success. We are everywhere asshole and we damn sure dont like listening to you people put down vets. But by all means continue. We love reading the hate, it makes casting our vote for a straight Republican ticket up and down the ballot more meaningful. You should try going to the front page before you spew your hate, click on sitemeter, and see who is online before you run off at the mouth.

Comment by Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion | 2008-11-03 13:33:30

I agree many on the left are hypocrites. The right has its own typical double standards, such as many on the right supporting the guy Bush who staged a war (equals death) and whining about abortions while at the same time opposing age appropriate sex education and contraception.

Comment by VinceP1974 | 2008-11-03 13:41:07

What is this compulsive need to bring up your ill-conceived notions of ‘the other side’

No one on the right believes the war was staged. No one. We regard all this “Bush lied” crap as lies in themselves.

So I reject the false equivalence.

And I wouldn’t be so dismissive as people working to protect the life of others as “whining”. but you’re free to do what you like. I’m just saying it’s not whining , it’s a deeply held-conviction that abortion is about of the same social-ill as slavery.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-11-03 13:53:41

I am inclined to agree with Galt. The right can be just as hypocritical as the left. That is why I left the Democratic party but refuse to join the Republicans. It is time for the center to take back this country after years of utter mismanagement by both extremes. I am quite tired of single-issue, divide and conquer tactics and rhetoric by both sides.

McCain is as close as we’ll get to a centrist this time around and so I do support him but I would still have preferred HRC.

Comment by Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion | 2008-11-03 14:02:16

No one on the right believes the war was staged. No one.

I am saying it is a staged war and the right supported Bush and his staged war.

As far as the whining about abortion, it is whining when they oppose sex education and contraception which would cut down on the amount of unwanted pregnancies thus saving babies. Its hypocritical to support a staged war, then whine about abortions that in essence the same people whining are causing by opposing prevention.

The far left and far right are hypocrites and ARE equivalently misguided. I’m on neither side.

Comment by VinceP1974 | 2008-11-03 15:47:58

Comment by Galt, Master Thrall of Planet Triskelion | 2008-11-03 16:16:47

To be clear, I am talking about the people on the right who even NOW support Bush, when we know the case he made for the war was on the flimsiest of circumstances. I think its far worse than that, they cooked up those flimsy circumstances. BTW I like what I consider true conservatives, like Pat B. Well anyway, you should admit there are hypocrites on both sides of the isle. Its part of the human condition.

Have anyone even watched the original JTP video? It was not a “random” question. This relative of Keating made a beeline through the crowd to get to Obama. He obviously prepared this “question” beforehand. Yeah it sucks that his private life was delved into, but HE thrust himself into the spotlight. He conjures up this FALLACY of a business purchase and thinks to himself, “I’ll pull one over on THAT ONE! HURHURHUR!” Obama gives a candid off the cuff answer, and uses a common turn of phrase about “spreading the wealth around” to describe Progressive Taxation, which Mr. McCain was for and described himself as something the “better off” should do. Then the “Right” parses out the term so they can make it sound incendiary. Unless you sheep make more than $250,000 and have more than a double wide to pass off to lil’ Jimmy and Suzie, why are you concerned about a reinstatement of taxes to the Clinton Presidency’s level or the estate tax?

JTP is just a bonehead who found a way into the spotlight and like your Ice Queen, Palin, should be waiting tables at a Denny’s somewhere and not making/describing policy for the U.S.A. He got WTFPWND by the Media/Bloggosphere, NOT the Obama campaign. This is the 21st century people, the all watching all seeing interweb is looking in and won’t let you get away with anything. If it’s been recorded, on any medium, withing the last 15 years it can and will be found, to the benefit or detriment of all.

… now wheres my wrench?…

Well said. Very well said.
I agree wholeheartedly. Albeit less violently.

Joe is probably an OK guy, but it’s obvious that he isn’t particularly well informed about much of anything. He’s got a right to make his pronouncements. It’s disturbing, however, that the republicans would be shining a spotlight on him and holding him out as an example of clear republican thinking. Apparently McCain campaign strategists believe their base supporters are as dumb as a box of rocks.

Comment by destardi | 2008-11-03 14:29:54

Fact is, Joe knows what he thinks is right, and..it just so happens he’s just like the average Americans uhbama and his blue elites are demonizing, patronizing, and disparaging.

Big mistake.

HillaryDem4McCain/Palin PUMA!

Comment by anon | 2008-11-03 14:41:16

Confronted with their party’s choices this election, a lot of well-informed, thoughtful republicans have refrained from endorsing McCain/Palin. Joe the Plumber doesn’t reflect the clearest thinking American conservativism has to offer.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-11-03 14:43:12

Then conservatives will need to just lose and regroup.

Because, they are like the left-wing of the past 8 years who lost.

Frankly, both ends of the spectrum totally strike me as vacant in thinking skills.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-11-03 14:52:58

And Oblockhead doesn’t reflect anything this former Democrat and veteran believes. You can have him, his anarchist and racist friends, and his racist wife and you can worship them the rest of your life. Just don’t expect me to do the same. I’m sure there are many others who feel this way, as well.

Comment by destardi | 2008-11-03 14:54:25

…and racebaiting is the only way uhbama can win.

Not exactly first class on behalf of the uhbamabushbots either.

but hey let’s throw a wrench into the works it will come in handy tomorrow when the republicans, pumas and indies go out and vote in

He had a right to ask the question and you have no right to take him to task for asking it. Your candidate is a fraud, no more, no less, and JTP knew it. Too bad you haven’t realized it, yet.

Comment by Anne | 2008-11-03 14:04:53

I wouldn’t be too worried….I mean the guy sounds totally gay. Liberace gay. Mind you, I am too, and I mean not to disparage the guy for his sexual orientation, but geez…..despite the scowl and tat, he sounds like a cream puff, doesn’t he? Slow leak and all….

Ok, I’m just tossing in a little jocularity here. It’s really not ok to make those kinds of threats to ANYONE.

Comment by kgirl1028 | 2008-11-03 14:16:11

You know if the point of the bots is to keep people from going to the polls to discourage people, then you don’t know Americans at all. Revenge is a dish best served at any temperature, If you had at least tried to be nice, some people would have been mad but set this one out. But between you and your prick of a leader, all you are doing is bolstering more determination not to see you or him have anytime of power. Nothing more clearly shows both you and obama’s immaturity. This is not grade school, people are not going to cower just because you promise to beat them up after school. NO what they are going to do is meet you behind the school, with a baseball bat and break your legs. Keep it up trolls.

Comment by benny | 2008-11-03 14:27:53

unfortunately, the obots really truly believe in obama. for them, its something like the messiah after GWB. but they cant even recognize that obama = GWB3. by the time they realise it, it’ll be too late. just like the people who elected GWB came to that same realisation.

Comment by dave e's unhappy mom | 2008-11-03 14:42:53

That’s the problem with extremists–they always get blindsided because of their tunnel vision and singular preoccupation with the inconsequential. The problem is that the rest of us sane voters get screwed in the process.

Fox just release polls for battleground states

McCain is leading in FL and NC 50 to 49
Tied in MO and OH 49 49
The O is ahead in CO and VA 59 to 47

these polls were most likely taken this past weekend. McCain could very well be ahead on all of them. it is a Fox/Rasmussen poll and we know that Rasmussen has more democrats in their weighting.

all of them are within the margin of error but McCain showed increase in points. McCain could very well be ahead in those states which is why the O is flipping McCain off!

McCain can do this! get out the vote!

Comment by Chicago | 2008-11-03 14:30:22

OOPS! sorry!

The O is ahead in CO and VA 51 to 47

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-11-03 14:47:57

While this is good news, the polls are still skewed in favor of Oblockhead and I hope it stays that way. When McCain is elected, the pollsters will all be standing around with their hands in their pockets, shrugging their shoulders as they receive their pink slips. So sad, too bad.

Comment by Chicago | 2008-11-03 15:06:56

While this is good news, the polls are still skewed in favor of Oblockhead

which means that McCain might actually have the lead right now.

‘Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!

‘ On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi’
He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DONT WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Mac says:
My friend Senator Lindsey Graham affectionately refers to the “tax trifecta” of Obama-Pelosi-Reid. We have no doubt they’ll waste no time in raising taxes on the quote “wealthy,” a term they seem to re-define daily. The Obama-Biden Democrats are now accusing Americans who don’t want a tax hike of being selfish.

My friends, the candidates on our ticket would never accuse you of being selfish for wanting to keep more of your hard-earned money.
We can’t let the Obama-Biden Democrats turn our country from the land of opportunity into the land of government hand-outs. We must win tomorrow.
Please donate to Mac for this last 24 hour push to raise $5,000,000.

Since you are an obamatron or insane or an insane obamatron, I must give you these very simple instructions concerning the above choices–you may choose one or the other or both. Neither is not an option.

keep up the good work. some people who post here my still be undecided. but your name calling will hopefully make them see what kind of people you are.

now seriously…I would never hit someone upside the head with a wrench… just making a point that JTP has NO clue… like many here.

how is this any different than people at McBush/Failin ralley’s crying out that Obama is a terrorist and Kill Him. That my friends is on tape as well. And Failin was standing there and heard what was said… but did she try to calm the crowd? No, she incites it.

Comment by JustMe | 2008-11-03 15:29:25

that was debunked by the SS nothing of the sort was shouted out.. IT WAS INVESTIGATED TROLL.

You posted
JTP needs a wrench upside his head to know some sense into him!!!! YOUR WORDS

Lies roll of your tounge like it’s all in normal day…

Did anyone really yell “Kill him”?
http://images.salon.com/politics/war_room/2008/10/16/kill_him/index.html

The Secret Service has investigated reports that supporters at two of Sarah Palin’s rallies yelled “Kill him!” in reference to Barack Obama and has concluded that both reports were unfounded.

Its always a good day when the douchebrain Trollz come out to support each other. I can just see ‘em. Mahmoud over in the corner, beating off to a small porn window in the corner of his crt screen when he thinks nobody else is looking, and Hussein over there, laughing like the little girl whose name he uses and scratching at his zits.
Aziz is always looking up colloquialisms in the hope that he won’t sound like an adolescent from some public school in England.
Trollz, just think… after tomorrow you can wrap your empty heads in green rags and run around outside again, screaming “Death to McCain” and maybe you’ll get close enough to the Israeli sniper’s position that he decides to “tag” you so that others can “bag” you.
Its a GOOD day!

The only hatred demonstrated during this election cycle came from your polyethylene Messiah, Oblockhead. He is a fraud as are his supporters. You’ll realize it some day. This Army Dad wouldn’t vote for Oblockhead if he were the only candidate. An empty chair in the Oval Office is better than one with Oblahblah in it.

Obama is a great leader and will make a great president.

Comment by ArmyMomForObama | 2008-11-03 16:15:47

oh and as far as the SS “debunking” someone saying “Kill Him” at a rally… who they hell did they ask… people who were AT the rally. Of course they are going to deny hearing anyone say that even though they did!!!!!

I’ve watched a few McBush/Failin rallys on the web and on TV and heard all the booing and such.

They need to build up their own platform instad of just trying to instill “fear of the terrorist” in their crowds.

The Obama rally I attended in Denver was awesome. It was a great happy optimistic crowd and NO booing when the other candidates names were mentioned.

Comment by KFaye | 2008-11-03 17:45:55

The Secret Service reviewed the tapes of the rally and questioned all of the police officers on duty, and found no evidence of the “Kill him” statement.
