From Tony to Barack, Part I: Clever Real Estate Strategies for Politicians

OF NOTE: Shortly The story is up — a breaking-news story on the FBI’s investigation of the Obamas’ purchase of this mansion, thanks to a great tip from Jeremiah Goddamn Amerikkka Wright, our indispensable reader and radio show host (tonight!).

ALSO OF NOTE: See Truthteller’s most recent article on Rezko, at the end of which Truthteller lists all of the stories published here at NoQuarterUSA.net about Tony Rezko and Barack Obama’s long, entangled, intimate relationship: BREAKING: Obama Land Deal with Rezko and Mutual Bank Subject of New Court Complaint.”

The following excerpt is posted at NoQuarterUSA.net with the express permission of GOPMom.

The story about Senator Obama’s house purchase is well known. On June 15, 2005, Barack and Michelle Obama closed on a new house in the historic Kenwood district of Chicago for $1,650,000, or $300,000 below the listed asking price. On the same day, Rita Rezko, the wife of Tony Rezko, closed on the adjacent vacant lot for $625,000, which was the full listed asking price. The Obamas subsequently purchased a 1,500-sqft strip of land from the Rezkos on January 11, 2006 for $104,166, increasing the side lot buffer between their properties.

The media confronted Senator Obama about these transactions because Tony Rezko was under federal investigation at the time for political pay-to-play schemes. … Etc.

Income tax evasion comes to mind regarding the value received for the strip. REZKO WILL RAT OUT OBAMA TO SAVE HIS SKIN AND THIS IS THE INSURANCE POLICY WE HAVE IF THE OBAMMUNIST ACTUALLY WINS THE ELECTION >THE TRANSACTION INVOLVES FRAUDULENT CONVEYANCING.

I’m sorry this is off topic but I wanted to say thank you Larry and Susan and all the posters here at NoQuarter!! I have been on this sight for 7 or 8 months, I have spent most of my time battling Obots on the MSM during this election and have not really posted here but once or twice. I have NoQuarter as my home page on my Blackberry and have spent many hours reading the articles and comments, NoQuarter has been my “keep my sanity” site during this whole process!! I just returned from voting Republican for the first time in my life along with my girlfriend!! Thank you all for keeping me sane and keep the faith!! God bless America!!

I think this story is why Opampers looks so stressed yesterday. I think he is shitting in his pants realizing if he loses the election he loses his protection from USA Fitzy!

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-04 12:15:42

A long time ago a woman from Chicago who is in our film told me that the FBI opened a file on OPampers a while back. She said everyone in Chicago knew it, but then it got quiet. Just like it got quiet before they indicted what, their governor, right? Anyway, she swears they know about all of Big Zero’s criminal activity and that it’s a matter of time. I pray Fitzy has the stones to pull off getting that freak carted off to prison.

Yeah, but if through some fluke (i.e., fraud) he wins today, what, we get Biden? Or do we get McCain?

??

Comment by csuzeq | 2008-11-04 13:01:20

I think Biden is out if Ofraudma wins. He will either step down or have some kind fo accident or something. seriously. Obama keeps you until he gets what he needs from you and then you are tossed aside.

Sorry Joe the Biden.

Comment by It's Not Me | 2008-11-04 13:44:24

If BO is indicted, Biden is President. Maybe he’ll pick the woman who he thinks is more qualified than himself to be VP…HILLARY. Wouldn’t that be something.

Comment by It's Not Me | 2008-11-04 12:33:11

Of course they’re going to wait until after the election before they do anything. IF he wins they can have another Democratic President shamed and it will go down in the history books. Though IF he gets elected, his tracks will be covered by all the criminal thugs in Congress and Chicago. Their plan may backfire. :(

If he loses….PLEASE G-D!!!!!….I wonder if they’ll just drop it and write it off as just another sleazy Illinois land deal (Hastert comes to mind….NOTHING happened to him)?

Arguing? We’re in agreement that an FBI investigation of a real estate deal doesn’t bode well for Obutthead.

What’s your Obot take on the situation, kissazz?

I have a relative who is a Mayor of a town here in Illinois and visits the Illinois legislators in Springfield OFTEN. He told me Rezko is singing on Obama. It’s only a matter of time before the criminal goes down. I can’t wait.

I really wish a lot of readers will make their first post at NQ today, especially those who consider themselves Dems or Indy-Dems voting for McCain /Palin today. Whether you consider yourself a PUMA or not, I’d love to see your comments.

I’d also like to see reports from any and all NQ readers who voted in swing states today, or even who live in swing states and have any observations to share about local happenings regarding the voting.

Come out of the attic, you lurkers! Post something! Today is the day for it! BE HEARD!!

I am PUMA, a dedicated Hillary supporter who is voting today for McCain and every Republican on my ballot!

Comment by McPalin | 2008-11-04 12:52:42

A caller to the Glenn Beck show told about an elderly woman receiving a phone call in South Bend, Indiana telling her she was allowed to cast her vote by phone. “For whom was she voting,” she was asked? She replied “John McCain” The caller thanked her and said, “Your vote has been cast. You do not have to go to the polls.”

Comment by beachnan | 2008-11-04 13:10:59

PUMA!!!! They will learn today that they cannot count us out!!! Ten family members here in California voting McCain. Never voted Republican before. We can’t be the only disenchanted Dems out there. BTW, nice to know, that even if BO were to cheat his way into the White House, with REZKO and other problems, he probably won’t be there long.

Comment by jbjd | 2008-11-04 13:31:14

When BO admitted Rezko did a “walk-through” of the house he wanted to buy, before the purchase, because he wanted the professional opinion of this real estate expert, I pointed out to his supporters, if Rezko failed to provide a bill to BO for services rendered, then these 2 men are friends and BO is a crook.

Comment by Nobody Special | 2008-11-04 13:35:41

OK I voted McCain/Palin in Florida actually four early votes from this house for McCain. I’m so proud my son came around after Joe the Plumber and voted McCain, as did four of his college buddies!

Comment by Kelly | 2008-11-04 16:12:55

Four votes for McCain here!

Comment by an observer | 2008-11-04 16:49:00

More importantly this is breaking in the mainstream.
The plug is being pulled.

Comment by sevan | 2008-11-04 17:09:06

Of all the land near the lake, why in the world would Rezco need a narrow empty lot to enjoy when he is in jail? It isn’t zoned for papa johns pizza (which he lost the franchises)
How will Rezco handle the appraisal, whistleblower and frauud on his lot?
I suspect Rezco will lose the lot because of outstanding judgements.
