Apparently Tristan does not appreciate Mr LaRouche. First of all, this is not spam. It is the totally independent opinion of a totally unaffliated voter/citizen. As difficult as it might be for some idealogues to understand, it is possible for an open-minded person to appreciate both the many fine bloggers at No Quarter and Mr LaRouche and his PAC. They all have constructive things to say.

Spot on. Clinton is one hell of a fighter but she knows how to pick her battles. She fought tooth and nail while she still had a prayer but when your opponents hold the money, the media, and are willing to fight dirty and break every rule in the book with no-one to call them on it, there is nothing more that anyone can do. She just has to bide her time now and wait til they expose their flank again. And that time is sure to come.

I think because people generally like McCain, Bush and Palin will get the blame for the loss. In reality,

1) democrats were so hungry for a victory after eight years they were ready to support a flawed candidate
2) independent voters were ready for a change and didn't dig too deep into the details
3) hispanics rejected the Republican outreach and voted in their economic best interest

BTW since we're in our new post-racial world, I guess I can go to the first black or hispanic guy I see and tell him that I voted for McCain? And he won't assume that I voted on race rather than policy, right? Because we're all in a cool post-racial world now black people can grow up and become anything they want, as long as they have the MSM in their pocket, Oprah to fundraise, and Howard Dean and Donna Brazile to count the primary votes. And they're not female, of course.

Correction! I meant to say I have a hard time believing this is NOT a hatchet job on Palin by someone looking to place the blame elsewhere.

I would not have voted for McCain had he chosen Romney, Guiliani and I don't know Pawlenty. I had planned not to vote Obama, just to leave the presidential box blank. Once Palin was chosen, my decision was made.

I have a real hard time believing this is totally a hatchet job on her and done as quickly as her plane got airborn for Alaska. Why? Who were those cowards who won't go on the record but will slam her behind her back and their fingers crossed behind their backs. Cameron looked a little gleeful dishing out the dirt on her.

I thought he looked bad too. It's the look of "Oh Sh*t. Now I finally have to do the job and I have no more time for waffles". He's going to age very quickly with all the problems now on his plate.

I don't know what is getting into people. I'm not Jewish but my grandchildren are. My daughter and her family voted for McCain. Honestly, that was a horrible thing for you to say "sneaky".

I was pretty upset with Hillary until I heard McCain yesterday. It dawned on me that she probably did what she did because she realized that fighting to the end will outrage Obama's AA supporters so much that it will bring race relations in this country to a point of almost no return - think about the people applauding Jeremiah Wright while he was mocking her. I really think I understand her better now.

I like Romney a lot. I would have voted for him for Pres. and would still vote for him. However, he just didn't get traction with the base in spite of the big $$$ he spent. And it would have been the "same old same old" two boring white guys running against an historic ticket. Palin has at least the same experience as Obama...that is fact, not opinion. Can we talk double standards here? So she made some PR mistakes...Biden makes 5 a day. Plus she is a rock star...she pulls in the crowds regardless of what anyone thinks of her. It is amazing that public opinion only finds HER inexperienced. They were calling for her to be removed from the ticket after two days....but oh boy that Obama knows what he's doing. Either 1) it was a calculated media hit job on Palin that everyone bought or 2) women are simply not respected in this country.

"Why do you think Obama got the Jewish vote...they have money...they don't pay taxes...and keeping the tax burden on the middle class is just their evil greedy style..." - I am Jewish, I voted McCain, I don't "have money" and I do pay taxes - anyway, Jews make about 2% of the population, though they do vote in droves. Why don't you take your bigotry some place else?
