You are very Wise. These attempts to rewrite history have already begun in conservative political talk radio. If the American public doesn’t stay focused on what really happened in the run up to the Iraq invasion, we will allow it to happen again. The Bush administration claimed Saddam Hussein was an immediate threat to the United States. They claimed Iraq was responsible for 9/11. Colin Powell sat in the UN and blatantly lied about chemical and biological weapons and the possibility of a nuclear weapons program. The link provided as proof Bush was right doesn’t show anything of the kind. That uranium had been stored so long, the containers were rusted and leaking. According to the article, it had degraded to the point it would have been useless even for a dirty bomb. The aluminum tubes reported by the NYT and the next day by Cheney, were later proven to be unusable for nuclear weapons. Bush never vetoed a single spending bill until the Democrats gained a majority in 2006. Corruption was out of control with Haliburton and Blackwater USA was payed more than regular military. Please don’t do this people. I am a former Democrat who voted for McCain and I will never be blinded by partisanship again because it is going to destroy our country faster than any foreign government. We were lied to about everything. There were no WMDs and Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. If we forget that for one moment, it will happen again.

Why not blame Hillary? The Repubs are blaming Sarah Palin. Women always make the best whipping posts, don’t they Nancy? Do you think Obama wouldn’t have won if Hillary hadn’t kept her promise to support the Democratic candidate no matter who it was and to do her best to see a Democrat in the White House? Yes. Obama would have won and Hillary would have been ostracized from the party she has worked for all her adult life. Harry Reid has already threatened to take Lieberman’s committee assignment from him and he will find it hard to win his next election against the Democratic nominee because the Democrats will have all the money now. Why don’t we women continue to blame the best candidate this country has seen in my lifetime because she kept her promise and guaranteed her party’s obligation to her forever? Hillary may never be president and maybe she has accepted that, but she will always fight for us and her legacy will be greater than Obama’s or McCain’s because she is real. It is my belief Gov. Palin would never have been blamed for the Republican loss if she had been a man. The media would have said the outcome of this election was a result of eight years of failed Republican administration. John McCain campaigned for George Bush after Bush and Rove conducted the second most vile campaign against him. I don’t believe you ever supported Hillary, but wanted her to throw away everything to elect McCain. Sarah Palin will never be president no matter how much she knows or how sincere she is because she is a woman and, in the end, women don’t support each other.

Voter. I’m sorry to say this but you are the stupid one. You think the economic melt down is all the Repubs fault because Obama told you so. That is the problem, he is a liar. YOU HAVE JUST VOTED IN THE ONE MAN IN THE WHOLE US WHO ONE COULD SAY IS THE MOST TO BLAME FOR US CITIZENS LOSING MONEY IN THEIR RETIREMENT, 401Ks, STOCKS, ETC. 1. 1994>> Through Acorn’s community and legal actions, Sen Obama & other attorneys sued Citibank Federal Savings Bank in Chicago in federal court charging racial discrimination in housing lending.
2. 1998>> They won the case, bank entered into a consent decree to lend money for housing to less qualified buyers with insufficient collateral.
3. 1999>> Clinton administration entered into other consent decrees with other banks. Eventually Fannie Mae (FM) and Freddie Mac (FM) backed these mortgages.
4. FM & FM backed mortgages mainly caused the economic melt down.
5. Through his action and inaction, Sen Obama bares a heavy responsibility for the stock market losses impacting 401ks, retirement, and other income. In 2005, Sen John McCain attempted to prevent this melt down through needed legislation. Dems stonewalled. Sen Obama did nothing.

Soilder. I have seen this post before. I do not question it but I believe at the time before the Iraq war the issue was whether Sadam had declared ALL his “nuclear program material” not whether he actually had nuclear material. Scott Ritter and the head of the IAEA had said that the IAEA had confiscated the bulk of his materials program. The question was whether there was evience Saddam was lying. You are trying to infer that the “550 tons of yellow cake” had not been discovered by the IAEA before going to war. THAT IS THE ISSUE. DO YOU HAVE PROOF FOR THIS STATEMENT? If it had been discovered but not removed, I certainly could understand that since under war conditions that would have been too dangerous. I have a masters degree in chemistry and I know this is a raw material form of uranium not very high in U content but still very dangerous because of its radioactivity. Are you making the case that this yellowcake was discovered after the war began? I hope the Bush administration puts out a definitive paper on this issue to clear it up once and for all before the other participants leave this earth. By the way Ritter was threatened with prosecution for alleged sex with a 16 year old if he did not shut up about the whole issue. He disappeared from view.

Educatedwhitewoman. I am an AA female Hillary supporter. Not only did Obama train ACORN as you indicated, of all the people in the senate and house, he is most responsible for the Wall Street crash. You see in 1995 he and other attorneys (find his name on the linked document below) sued Citibank Bank of Chicago alleging discrimination in housing lending causing the bank to enter into a consent decree to give loans to low income people. Because it was a federal suit it had ramifications for all states. This caused president Clinton to enter into other consent decrees all over the country. BINGO. Defaults in this mortgage group occurred first with a ripple effect throughout the real estate industry culminating in the economic melt down on Wall Street. See link below:

It is really a sad day that people chose to trust
individuals with their life time investments then
find out they were ripped off because the RNC allowed
this shocking thing to happen. The ones who did allow
the economics of the country to seriously suffer then
have the balls to kick Obama around then make statements about who he selects for his administration. Others cry to the blues that Obama was selected to be the new president yet feel good
about what the RNC done to this country. I hope the
many of them be found then stand in court for mutiny,
or serve serious time for going against the government, and freeze all of their monies. How in the sam this was allowed to happen. Obama is not the
enemy fool;it is a shame he has to clean up the mess. We no longer need to critize because our country may plunge;we do not have time for your hate, just get involved and help this country because if we do not it will get worst. Obama said,
we all have to get involved.

I think the treatment of Palin is inappropriate but I do not, in any way, think of Palin as a powerful person. I think she’s has an outgoing personality but would never vote for her. I considered leaving the top blank as she is way too far right. Hopefully the moderate Republicans will be able to outnumber the old guard social extremists.

If Matthews is running for office in PA, he will voluntarily leave soon to begin positioning himself. His behavior during this election season will have gotten the attention of the Dems, but will the reaction to him be positive or negative. The Dems will do some polling on him before the fund his campaign.

For the last several months the US and Iraqi governments have been negotiating a Status of Forces Agreement to govern the presence and wind down of US troops in Iraq after the UN mandate expires this month. That Agreement has been finalized and will soon be signed. The withdrawal of US troops has already begun, and is even being accelerated beyond initial estimates, as Iraqi troops and civilian police forces have taken control over all but a few remaining small pockets of the country.

It’s over in Iraq, the Iraqi’s have their own democratically elected government and full sovereignty has been restored to the Iraqi people. Credit Bush, credit Patreus, credit McCain, or credit the Iraqi people themselves who stood up against insurgents, al Qaeda, nutjobs like Sadr, or their own corrupt politicians, and give credit where credit is due that the job is done.

Just don’t credit Obama, but that is what I read in the press this morning, an AP headline… Iraqi’s agree to Obama’s withdrawal timeline. Shameful.

I am beginning to think that this whole election was a done deal between the Dems and Republicans a long time ago, and that’s why the DNC decided to get “their man” in. The caucus fraud was a planned deal, way in advance of the caucuses. The rulings about which states should go first was a done deal. Everything was set up for Obama. Does anyone remember BO’s words to Ed Rendell
during he Pennsylvania primaries? He told him, “You kknow I’m going to be the nominee.” I’m not even sure if he didn’t say President. Why were all these people allowed to vote more than once, and all of this done in the key battleground states. Quit blaming Hillary and the Clintons for everything. Don’t you think that they, above everyone else, would have wished for a different outcome.

NO PRAYERS FOR OBAMA

Obama is not a natural US born citizen and therefore got this election through trickery and coercion. He is not my president, only in name.

Obama used the name of Jesus Christ to try to get the Christians to vote for him and he used a photo op at the Holy Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to get the Jewish vote. For 20 years he attended a “church” where the pastor cursed and used God’s name in vain from the pulpit, to get the black vote. In my opinion, he might as well of used the “F” word in the “sanctuary,” which I’m sure he has anyway, just never got on tape. And it is very clear about how he and Obama feel about Israel and the Jews.

Am I to assume you’d also instruct the German Christians back in Hitler’s day to pray for the “wisdom and safety of Adolf Hitler? Brothers and sisters, it’s time to check yourselves on that one.

There are far more scriptures in complete contrast to praying for a monster like Obama. I don’t recall Jesus calling for prayer for Caesar, Herod, or even Judas for that matter. Peter did not pray for Ananias and Saphira who came to him with a lie on their lips; and the early Christians did not pray for Nero’s safety and wisdom. In fact, Jesus said He only prays for the ones that the Father has given him, those who’s names are in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

AND I DON’T RECALL JOHN THE BAPTIST PRAYING FOR HEROD: HE SAT OUTSIDE HEROD’S GATES AND DECLARED TO HIM AND THE WORLD THAT HEROD WAS IN VIOLATION OF GOD’S LAW AGAINST ADULTERY. AND HE GOT HIS HEAD CHOPPED OFF FOR IT.

Now we have a man Obama that supports infanticide, homosexual marriage, Islam (praying to the moon god, which YWH forbids), racially divided churches, and splitting the land of Israel, and he accepts worship and adoration as a deity: all of which is far greater sin than Herod marrying his brother’s wife.

No, we’d better pray for the courage to stand in the faith against such a monster.

No, I do not. I was elated when Hill decided to run. I was certain (still am) that she was the only person running who had a real understanding of the issues that our country was facing and would face. It was a serious blow when she decided to end her campaign as I was hoping she would take it all the way to the convention. I don’t understand ending a triathlon 10 feet from the finish line. God knows we need/ed her as our president.
In the end, I felt that based on the very little known about Obama, pretty much all rotten, I just could not support him. I voted for McCain and for a straight Republican ticket.
What the DNC and Bots did to Hillary, how they treated her – I will never forgive them because when they did it to her, they were doing it to me and to all women. When they did that to her, they dishonored the 18 million (men and women, of all races and creeds) who voted for her. When they did that to her, they abused their power.
After 8 years of watching a power-hungry president use and abuse his office, it seemed that the DNC and all it is supposed to represent would do all it could to present a clean, positive, uplifting image. If it is possible, they are, along with Obama, worse than Bush ever was.
We need a president who will always be positive, who doesn’t hold grudges, who is smart enough to get us out of the jam we are in. That’s not Obama.
No, Hillary may have asked for my support in helping elect Obama, but I refused to lend it.
