Uh…the man won with a larger margin than anyone has won with in 20 years. I think I’d call that a “win”. Let’s further note that more people voted for Barack Obama in this election than have ever voted for any candidate in the history of this nation.

As for the “stole the nomination”, I don’t know where you get that. The delegates were awarded according to the state party system in each state, under the rules established by the DNC before the primary season began. He won more of them than his opponent did. That’s not “stealing”, that’s “winning”.

Look, I get it: the person you wanted to win didn’t win. We’ve all been there. But for chrissakes, it’s not like it’s some conspiracy cooked up to deny you of getting your way. These contests were conducted in the open in full public view. There’s no secret about how they turned out or why. Get over it already. I had to get over Howard Dean losing the nomination in 2004; now you need to get over Hillary losing it this year. Being a sore loser is playing the Republicans’ game.

Try not to give up. My Mother was part of the German Resistance to Hitler. They knew very early on what was coming and no one listened. They didn’t give up and they saved lives and in the end - they won. Were it notr the smalll voices of resistance that started early on, they would have never made it to D day. I refuse to go down. We all share a heritage of freedom fighters, regardless of our roots. That’s America. I don’t think it very possible to just walk away from that.

So the O-zero wants to continue campaigning — traveling on the Tax payers dollar this time from managed crowd to managed crowd — just like his twin bush did. The traveling faux preacher show — perhaps Rev. Wright will be the opening act?

And Carter did put on a powerful campaign — he was super organized. And we know what happened after that election.

McCain is indeed lucky. Palin not so much — seems like the hyenas are out to destroy her.

We’re going to be watching the O-zero make one bad decision after another and at the same time watch the Republican party feed on each other.

I realize now the republicans helped Obama. I am not sure why, maybe they were afraid McCain-Palin really would have gone after the corrupt ones on both sides, but this would not have happened if the Republicans had gone at the democrats with all they had.

Of course it has to be managed and controlled by independent institutions.

What is really sad is that is why many are saying that all the Fraud on the DNC’s part and Obama’s part is OK. Since the GOP stole the 2000 and 2004 election it was ok for the DNC and Obama to steal the primary and the election crookedly.

My husband is a Republican, but would have voted for Hillary, but I am having a hard time convincing him that BO intends to redistribute the wealth. He thinks BO cannot take our money or our 401K’s. He says he can’t touch the money we’ve put into the granddkids’ education funds, and I say, he will as as soon as he thinks of it. He’s going to need lots of money. We need to talk to a financial planner up on BOnomics right away.

This time when the crisis comes there wont be anyone to answer the phone. Obama will be out playing the news pimp. All smiles ang giggles.

I guess you haven’t seen the announcement about the family’s request for memorials to be made to any worthy organization in search for a cure for cancer because the joint release from Obama and his sister was made by the Obama campaign.

Look, people do these things their own way. My aunt died in April; the memorial service still hasn’t been held because she was in one place and each of her daughters were in other places, and they haven’t gotten it together yet. My own father’s cremated remains were not buried for over a year and a half after his death. I didn’t even attend my step-grandfather’s funeral, because it was 600 miles away and I made the effort to get there a couple of weeks before he died, knowing that he didn’t have long. That’s a hell of a lot more important, and Obama did that. And I’m sure everyone here attributed some foul motive to that, as well.

There’s no rule that says you have to have a funeral within X days of someone’s death. At the very least, this crowd should be relieved that the service and burial wasn’t done before sundown the day of death. You know, like the Muslims do.

I normally just read, but your comment about Obama’s grandmother made me decide to say something. I have been wondering about her service or whatever and I haven’t been able to find anything out about this. I had mentioned to my daughter that there hadn’t been any recent pictures of her. Since he didn’t seem to take any time off to attend her service, I have begun to wonder if this was all a political stunt. I certainly hope that wasn’t what happened.

All through the campaign it seemed odd to me that we never saw this woman. There was never even a private interview with the reporter of Obama’s choosing.

The continuing treatment of Sarah Palin is beyond disgusting — what can we do as mere voters (whose vote does not count) to show our support for Sarah? I am certain camp O is behind this and perhaps the Mitt Romney camps (Mormons are as sexists as the liberals).
