Bronwyn I hope you are doing better today!!

It was heartbreaking to hear of the people you encountered the other day! What a nasty group of O’Punks!

But it was nice hearing your voice on No Quarter Radio!
Nice to put a voice with a name.

I’d like to start a Fund for prosecuting anyone who threatens others free speech. What do you think?

She is so great, I am sory that we don’t have her in the WH as vp. She is a true representive of Americawomen and main stream hard wrking middle class.

GO SARA, 2012

Comment by oowawa | 2008-11-11 10:52:21

Well, this was heartening, particularly in the second video, where Sarah made it clear that she is ready to push through the door, if it is even open a crack. She sounds determined, ready, and strong–a force to be reckoned with in 2012.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-11-11 11:04:51

I agree…I was lovin’ that part especially too.

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-11 11:16:34

Yes, I agree and I know I WILL BE THERE FULL FORCE FIGHTING ALONG WITH HER.

Comment by oowawa | 2008-11-11 11:24:00

She sounds determined, ready, and strong

I left out the most important word: she will be willing to run, if the opportunity presents itself. It’s rare that a politician speaks so unambiguously about the possibility of their candidacy, particularly with the election of 2012 so far in the future.

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-11 11:06:07

You go girl. Yes, some closed minded may have indeed voted against you because of one position, that you didn’t hold their position on abortion. OR, it could have been some that cared more about wild animals than of human life, that said, they just could never vote for someone who killed wolfs (roflmao) — I’m sorry, I still laugh at that. I love animals and life, but they HAD NO CLUE on life in Alaska. One woman actually told me because of her position on fish. That I still never got. But in all honesty, listening to these different women give a one issue reason as to why they didn’t support Governor Palin, the ones I talked to, is just excuse making. It really boiled down to their lack of respect for their own gender. It was at least the same women I talked to in Indiana making calls for Hillary, that would say they could never vote for a woman to be in higher office. And while these women would fish around for “one reason”, when they would concede a host and list of issue they didn’t agree with on O-shit, they would then demean women further by all claiming “but Joe Biden is good looking”. And you know what, that says it all. These women are not feminists, they are just angry, jealous women who don’t think very much about themself or their gender or that they are not as strong as other women are.

Comment by Pennsylvania Red | 2008-11-11 11:15:33

I’m having trouble viewing the clips of the interview because of the constant buffering.

However I did catch that Palin tried to underplay her appeal to the screaming throngs, saying they weren’t there for her, but for the policies she represents. No I think that a lot of the crowd support was due to her mistreatment by the 0-MSM and they were expressing solidarity with her.

Addressing your post:

It’s been posted on this blog that women are our own worst enemies, and some regulars take issue with that statement. But I have to agree. I was raised more like a guy, cause my dad was expecting a first born son but instead got me. I never felt diminished or subverted in my home life or school life but when I got into the workplace it was another story. I always know what my pain quotient at a job will be by the number of non-alpha females present.

My best bosses have been women who think more like men.

When I was self-employed, I came up against subtle digs against my femaleness by male contacts, to be sure, but you don’t expect the same type of treatment from your own sex.

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-11 11:23:50

I agree with all. I think she did intentionally down play her support, for a reason, but we know how strong it is. For her supporters, it is very strong and they will work hard for her and help carry her to victory.

I believe there were many reasons why she was getting the support.

And you, like me, are the women who don’t try to use our gender as a ploy or a carrot, and then claim exception for their personal gain. They are not feminists. We live “feminists”, not using our gender to curry favor, we state emphatically that we can do it, as anyone else, not saying as the others, use the sex appeal to curry a position then demand respect as a woman. They are not feminists, they have little respect as a woman.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-11-11 11:17:25

right on…there are simply alot of women who are not confident, secure or have good self esteem. Women like Palin are a threat to them because Palin’s success shows their lack of it. They should be looking at Palin as an example to follow not attack. Pretty pathetic.

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-11 11:34:28

Exactly. They should be rallying around what strong leaders women can be and are.

Women are some of the most vicious and they are usually the ones looking that play the helpless female card or use their gender in a sexist manner. They always have a habit of looking at themselves, how it affects them, how to compete with. They have to start respecting themselves a bit more and look at what they and others are capable of.

Comment by dem no more EVER NEVER | 2008-11-11 17:07:01

yup. in my 30+ yrs of being in the workforce, the worst were with women. i’m self-employed now, i don’t have to deal with the catty, hateful, back-stabbing women who couldn’t deal with a self-assured woman and as a result did all they could to tear me down. it was bad enough dealing with bullshit sexist men trying to keep me in my place (or have sex with me), without also dealing with HORRIBLE women who made my work life a living hell. and you know what? i’m not anything special looks-wise so it wasn’t boob envy or lust or all that other sexist crap. i certainly never pulled the helpless female card – AND, i’m one of the nicest, easiest people to work with, and yet; i was relentlessly undermined, sabotaged and harrassed to no end by my “sisters.”

men stick together and women rip each other to shreds. what’s interesting though is after all i’ve been through (i could tell you stories that would make your hair fall out – ’cause mine sure did lol) i was still surprised how women reacted negatively to hillary and then sarah. based on my own experiences, i had no reason to think women would collectively see the importance historic and otherwise of having a woman executive in the white house, and yet i was quite surprised, saddened and angered that they didn’t.

so how do we change that pervasive attitude? sadly, i don’t think we can. pop culture reinforces it every minute of every day and night. it’s disheartening realizing women are over 50% of the population and if we really wanted something collectively it would happen, but it’ll never happen. the msm and the powers behind it will never allow women to rise up and become one. a year ago i would have considered it a possibility but after what happened to the two female candidates i seriously believe the “women’s movement” was severely damaged.

don’t get me wrong, i’m going to campaign and do whatever i can do to help sarah win the w.h. in ‘12, but… next time around? i’ll be much more cynical than i was this time.

Comment by Linda | 2008-11-11 22:50:29

“. i certainly never pulled the helpless female card – AND, i’m one of the nicest, easiest people to work with, and yet; i was relentlessly undermined.”

—> As my husband used to say, that made them that much more jealous. Not just that you are nice, sweet, good at what you do, but you’re good looking too. THAT REALLY PISSES THEM OFF”.

:)

…the onother saying…Misery loves company. And if we don’t fit in their camp, we’re dog meat.

Sarah Palin must come back and run for the presidency, in 2012.Maybe before…who knows? She is great. Then, she will be better armed against the mob of mysogynes who tried to portray her as stupid. This intelligent and splendid woman rocked, and will rock again. Bravissima Sarah!

Comment by Patience | 2008-11-11 11:06:45

Matt Lauer aired a Today Show interview with Gov. Palin where she was given yet another venue to debunk rumors. Even my Obot husband is backpeddling about her, now that he’s been set straight by the MSM.

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-11-11 13:46:31

That’s good to hear. Frankly, her version of the story makes sense.

The rumor story is more like the Trig isn’t really her baby story stuff. Didn’t really line up.

That’s the downfall of some rumor-mongerers. They get greedy and go for too much. Diva? Hardly.

If there was a shred of evidence that she was actually wanting the wardrobe, then maybe, maybe it would have made sense.

But her version that the RNC simply bought a ton of stuff to make sure it worked is logical.

Comment by Amirosa | 2008-11-11 11:11:39

Thanks for posting that interview. I really like Governor Palin. What a great point she makes about working together the pro choice and pro life women to find common ground. I certainly will support her if she decides to run for the senate or the presidency.

Comment by KB | 2008-11-11 11:18:59

I was so happy to watch Greta’s interview with the Governor. She is a really good person and she stayed above the despicable rumormongering of the press. It was wonderful to hear her debunk the bogus media charges. They should all be ashamed of themselves. This woman is a part of all men, women and children in this country because we can all relate to her in some way…as a mother, working woman, wife, etc. You don’t have to agree with her on every position. She made it clear that she is always able to find common ground between conflicting arguments. What a breath of fresh air. The elitist Washington insiders can’t stand it! That in itself is good enough for me. Go Sarah!

Comment by S. Markom | 2008-11-11 11:26:48

Palin hit a note in this interview segment that could resinate for her.

Up till now the issue of abortion has been highly divisive and emotional. No one wins on that issue because it is so polarizing and emotionally charged.

However if you refocus the issue over what everyone can agree on which is the reduction of abortions then both sides can find common ground.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 12:03:40

I hope that those who support Palin will rally around her for 2012 and START NOW. I saw her speak in Carson, CA and I have NEVER seen a crowd go that wild. Not even for Mick Jagger. She could hardly speak because they just kept SCREAMING “Sarah, Sarah, Sarah…” And I felt like I was watching a true new breed of politician. She has something rare and genuine, which is scaring the hell out of jealous people. I am a woman, but I am so embarrassed that the abortion issue caused this ridiculous rage and hate from so called “feminists” towards this woman. A real “feminist” would NEVER trash a woman, just because you don’t share the same views. Give it up chicks, no one wants to overturn Roe V. Wade and it’s not going to happen. I find it amazing that the women who trashed Palin, over ABORTION, would rather have OVomit destroy our country. Very sad and SILLY to me.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-11-11 12:14:56

I saw Sarah in Indiana and WE ROCKED THE HOUSE FOR HER!! 10,000 people stood and put their hand on their heart for the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang the Star Spangled Banner.

You know Obama supporters and other critics are shitting themselves out of fear and desperation when all they can talk about are her clothes. She looked pretty damn hot too in those clothes. You can’t reason w people who are jealous.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 13:07:24

She IS hot LOL. Even more beautiful and graceful in person. I couldn’t believe it. Of course people are jealous of her. She’s smart, confident, bright, beautiful, a great politician, wife and mother. I will do whatever it takes to support her career and push her to the WH. What a different country this would be if we would have woken up on November 5 to a McCain/Palin win. After January 20 I will never feel safe again.

Comment by downWithMSM | 2008-11-11 13:20:41

She always looks hot. Now this is one woman who can wear a table cloth and still look good! Man I love her and what she stands for..God help us.

I know that ACORN cheated us out of this race..
Greta is Great!

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 13:47:18

ACORN did cheat us. I will never believe that Obama got Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Never. And I for one saw what he did to Hillary with the Caucus Fraud so I will NEVER believe that this “selection” had anything to do with the votes of WE THE PEOPLE.

Comment by torland077 | 2008-11-11 13:15:25

OISF,
I agree with almost all you wrote except there are people who want to overturn Roe v Wade but even in regard to that we need to stop waving it as a bloody shirt to divide. The overturning of R v W would only throw everything back to the states and many states already have things in place to allow abortions in the event that happens. In fact an independent study showed that if R v W was overturned it would probably affect the closing of, I think it was, 2 abortion clinics nation wide. I think getting this off the national stage would be a good thing and plus it erases a terrible judicial decision. The constitutional basis of RvW is really, really poor.

Comment by downWithMSM | 2008-11-11 13:24:29

Everything should be put back in the states hands. That’s what Hillary wanted and ran on and that’s what Sarah and Mac want..States need to make their own decisions. Right now they have a loss power..

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 13:45:26

I just can’t believe that under ANY circumstances women aren’t intelligent enough to put their COUNTRY FIRST. I am of course pro-choice, but there’s no way I see an argument for putting someone as horrifying as Obama in the WH just because that maybe, maybe, maybe somewhere on the planet someone might try to do something that no one has done in 35 years. Palin and McCain didn’t come out and say they would move to overturn it. But even so it wouldn’t happen. I still think handing our country over to a dangerous, incompetent traitor is inexcusable, particularly over abortion.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-11-11 14:04:07

OIAF: I was at the Carson rally too. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The crowd really was with her and she had such a natural ease with it all. I was right in front on the ground, not in the stands and got to see her work the crowd up close and personal. Something I’ll never forget.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 14:25:18

I was right up in front too! It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. And the crowd? Instead of being insane Obots, they were the most PATRIOTIC America loving people I have ever seen. I felt so good being there, thinking that she might actually win the fight to save this country. We shook her hand after and handed her a copy of our film. I couldn’t believe she stayed around so long to sign autographs, etc. And remember when it started to rain? And she just kept going? Wow. I will never forget it either. I feel sorry for the women who immediately attacked her and didn’t give her a chance. Their loss.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-11-11 14:31:52

Yes. She was so gracious and trying so hard to sign as many autographs as possible. I let a little boy come in front of me (his Dad was making a scene behind me) so she did shake his little hand but I didn’t want to ask her because she had the sharpie in one hand and signing everything in sight. She did ask my husband, who was right next to me of course, if she could use his back to sign a couple of t-shirts for someone, he was so happy! Everyone was so positive afterward, she was infectious.

A real “feminist” would NEVER trash a woman, just because you don’t share the same views. *************************

How ironic–you trash women every day on this blog when they don’t support your LOVE of Governor Palin! You are such a hypocrite and hardly a true “feminist” considering what you just stated. I suggest you head your own damn words for once!

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 13:56:30

This is in response to Obama is a Frauds rant above….you are so pathetic!

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-11-11 14:05:31

???? trash women on this blog????WTF???

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:15:57

Where have you been? I am a woman and have been trashed on this blog because I, as a woman, who does not love Sarah Palin has to deal with Obama is a Fraud’s (OIAF) invectives against any women who does not feel the way she does about Governor Palin. Let’s see, women who do not support Palin are automatically called “jealous bitches” by OIAF Now, if that is not being trashed–what is? I have lots of female friends who are not happy with me for crossing over and voting for McCain, but I don’t call them disgusting names because I’m a sore loser. I voted for who I thought was the best candidate and had to take Palin as the VP because of the ticket. IMHO she is clearly not as qualified as HRC, but that does not mean in four years she won’t be. Until then, some of us would like to be able to read No Quarter without being trashed by other readers. Let’s see, it’s no longer fun to trash Obots, let’s create NOSARAbots and have some fun!

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 14:22:50

You have already been dealt with on this issue by ME and many others who saw your last crazy rants. I do not trash women and never have. I have never trashed you so stop lying. I have respect for those who don’t agree with Palin on her views. I don’t, however, respect the women who came out in full force, fangs out, lied about her, assassinated her family, etc. If that’s who you are, then shame on you.

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:33:33

I voted for McCain–what don’t you understand. You constantly rant and rave on this site about any woman that does not support your views…I never said you trashed me directly..go back and read the comment. Since I am a woman and I don’t support Palin–am I not one of the “jealous bitches” you refer too? If not, which “jealous bitches” are you referring to specifically? You call yourself a feminist yet you use the term “jealous bitches?” Oh I’m sorry, you were multi-tasking that day..and apologized because you read the post wrong. Still, you defame women that don’t agree with you and has been obvious in all your posts. How do you not see that you are exactly like all these people you rail against? You are the NO Quarter version of those Obama women who wear the Sarah is C*** shirts. It cracks me up that you can’t see it. You can sure dish the shit but can’t take it!

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 14:36:01

Get help. And please show me where I called you a “jealous bitch.” Wow. What’s the matter with you? You pulled this stunt on another thread and many people jumped in, read what I wrote, and set you straight. You really need to chill.

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:56:03

The point is not about calling ME a jealous bitch–it’s about calling any woman a jealous bitch..how is that different that the terrible Palin t-shirts?

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:59:51

AnninCA–can you answer my question? It’s not OK for women to wear those awful Palin shirts but it is OK for women on this site to call other women “jealous bitches.” And to clarify, I am not saying OBAMA IS A FRAUD called me (personally) one–I take offense as a woman. Does anyone not see the double standard here?

Comment by AnninCA | 2008-11-11 15:33:13

I don’t give strangers on the internet power over me.

Period.

Everyone in my real life knows that I’m a “real deal” feminist. I may not always use the right words, either.

I live it.

Just ignore the stupid stuff. It’s not worth debating.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 14:38:30

By the way, you are lying again. When I apologized on another thread it was because I incorrectly read that Lynn R. was not a Palin supporter. I was wrong and I said so. It had nothing to do with you and was none of your business. Nevertheless I did say I was wrong about Lynn. I did not call her a jealous bitch, liar and never would speak that way of Lynn since I am a big fan of hers. If you are going to quote me, try to tell the truth. For the last time…go hate Palin. Good for you. I don’t respect attacking her with lies. If you do, that’s on you.

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:45:56

Maybe when you comment you should be specific about who you are slurring. You see, I don’t want to be called a liar, I just know that when I read your comments you make what appear to be sweeping generalizations about people. No wonder I feel slighted, you forget to write the name of the person you are specifically bashing. Now, I realize you are calling me a liar and not anyone else. I can handle that. I will do my best when I see you post some more vitriolic hate-speech against women, I will stop and say, OBAMA IS A FRAUD–who are you referring to–a specific peson or just a group that does not agree with you? Now, that will make things more clear just in case other readers who come to this site feel you are attacking them too. Thanks for the clarification!

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 14:41:14

Sorry did not see those other posts–want to let me know how you and many others dealt with me ‘calling you out before’ since I’m here? Where you upset because your hate-speech makes someone who happened to be a part of the caucus fraud in Texas not want to watch your film? How’s your film doing? Any body of importance watch it? How come nothing has been addressed in the MSM about Caucus fraud? I have not heard anything about Caucus fraud and I live in Texas. You may consider this rant–I consider it compelling questions……since you use this site as your own sounding board.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 14:53:22

Shows what a moron you are. There’s a HUGE meeting in Texas about ending Caucuses and the fraud. As an American and patriot I am glad that the citizens of Texas are getting involved in stopping it. What a jerk you are. As for my film, yes of course people who matter saw it. Including Hillary and Bill. They might be more important than you are. And since the film is only the first 30 minutes, and we are finishing it and it will be released THEATRICALLY as a full length feature film, then lots of people will see it. How sad that you trash people who stood up against cheating and fraud. But you’re the person who trashes Palin and then lies about it. I have to go. But just your dumbazz comment about no one in Texas knowing about the Caucus situation shows that you aren’t really in the know about this election. No worries, your fellow Texans are taking action against injustice while you go on your insane rants. And, yes, our film is a very prominent part of what is going on in Texas loser.

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 15:14:48

Wow–I never trashed Palin….only said I thought she would be more qualified in four more years. My insane rants, as you can see, are for you only. You are the most rage-filled person– but I do happen to agree with you that the Clintons are more important than me. I don’t trash people that stood up to the caucus fraud, I trash people like YOU! What’s great about the internet is we have a written record of all your vitriol and hate and because you list your movie here, we know who you are. I never said you called Ms. Rosthchild a “jealous bitch” I merely pointed out that you use this term in your comments regarding some women (still not sure who). Also, anyone that does not agree with you either RANTS or is a troll. You are arguably one of the most close minded individuals I have come across on this entire site. You constantly call people names (of course only those who don’t agree with you)–and yes–I called you one too–a HYPOCRITE. You are exactly like the man you hate–PRESIDENT-ELECT Barack Obama (ooh, that just burns you doesn’t it). Has Hollywood taught you to put the “N” in narcissism? I actually wish your film success as the caucus debacle in Texas was pretty bad…but knowing what the producer posts on this site doesn’t really make one want to tell her friends all about it. It will be fun to stick around No Quarter (as a TROLL now) just to keep you on your toes and make sure you stop slandering other women.

I have really nothing to say to someone like you other than, yes, I do believe you are a troll. If you voted for McCain you just gave yourself by blowing smoke up your own azz about “President SELECT” Fraudbama. Look at what you wrote in your psycho rant. ROFLMAO. My bad–I meant I had not heard anything about your movie on caucus fraud in Texas. We know all about the actual fraud-just not your movie was my point. I would think something would come in my emails from the Harris County Dems or something….but no..nothing yet.

Comment by OBAMA IS A FRAUD | 2008-11-11 15:28:57

No one who voted for McCain would say what you said. And I don’t know why you aren’t on the invite list with all of the proud Texans who are uniting to stop the caucus fraud. But that’s not my problem. I’m just glad to do my part as an American to stop it. The rest of this and your BS are nonsense.

Comment by mkm125 | 2008-11-11 15:36:22

Yeah–not quite sure why an actual county delegate for HRC did not get on the list??? Hmmmmmmm………well I’ve had my fun. You have ruined NO QUARTER for me and I will troll-away. Phew…I’m sure you are glad. I hope in the future you think of all the women you’ve offended who read and don’t post on this site. You claim to be a “patriotic” “feminist” who respects other peoples views–but a quick look at older comments will show you are not. You’ve called me quite a number of names this afternoon and I clearly made you upset. Now you know how others feel when you hurl your obnoxious invectives randomly. Have a nice day and good luck with your film–let’s see if it actually makes a difference. We’ll know in four years. Oh and for the record, I wanted John McCain to win but now that the election is over, I am going to support the new President but I believe in our system.

LMFAO…Yeah right. Hillary delegates ARE IN OUR FILM and participated with us from every state with Caucuses. In fact, that’s how we KNEW for sure HRC saw the film. She was sitting at a DELEGATE BREAKFAST in Denver and said to one of the women in our film, a SUPERDELEGATE – “Oh, hey, I saw you in the film about the fraud, that was great.” So, yet again, an untruth. For the record, another reason the troll comments and why you are obsessed with me…

Why don’t you go attack LINDA who posted this…

There’s another woman who used the “jealous” word, but you are focused on attacking me. Kind of fishy, don’t you think? You are not a HRC delegate. No way. They don’t act like you and they wouldn’t be trashing people who put HRC delegates in a film. Good luck with your trolling. If you’re “done” with NQ all the better!

By the way, the “meeting” in Texas is this FRIDAY and it isn’t a MEETING, it’s a hearing in the court in Austin lead by the head of the Democratic Party in Texas. People are driving to Austin from literally every precinct to give testimonials about the fraud the saw. Guess you invited. Our film is being distributed to all of the officials involved as part of the proof that the fraud existed and to prove that caucuses should be eliminated. The final quote of the film is by GLORIA ALLRED who states that “caucuses are not DEMOCRATIC and need to be stopped.” ROLFMAO you trolls KILL ME.

Comment by Galt's Pizza Parlor | 2008-11-11 16:01:39

I don’t know if you’ve said this but from what you have been posting it appears you are a Republican who got involved because fraud is fraud and is undemocratic. That being said, liberty and freedom don’t have a party and I admire you for standing up for these ideals.

Galt…THANK YOU. I was a registered INDEPENDENT and had no interest in this nonsense until it was brought to me to produce. I am Republican now, you bet, after this mess. But I didn’t vote for Bush EITHER TIME. My partners on the film WERE all Dems. One of them changed to Independent and will never go back to Dem and I’m not sure about the other one, just know that none of us voted for Obama. I did this ONLY because I saw something unfair and now I almost wish I wouldn’t have gotten this involved. It’s impossible to see all the fraud and then see it rewarded by this catastrophe. Maybe that’s why I am taking it harder than some. But, again, thanks Galt. It’s very odd to get trashed by trolls when you thought you did the right thing for your country. Ughhh…..

Comment by Galt's Pizza Parlor | 2008-11-11 16:18:45

I see. I think because we got involved we saw first hand how the election process has been gamed all along. I do not mean to imply “this is how it has been done” excuses the behavior. Far from it. I hope your film will be used to eliminate caucuses once and for all.

I’m going to remain indy. I am not a fan of hyperpartisanship, as this has brought us Bush and now Opampers.

It is hard to relate to a proud boastful ignoramus (that is Chris Hitchens who BTW is anti-abortion) who thinks flintstones is a documentary. Who interviewed SP, Greta? That must have been hard, imagine going on Fox News!

SP is a walking talking flip-flop. So now she didn’t splurge that $200k at Needless Markup? So what about that claim that she was donate those threads to charity? And what is her dad sorting through this weekend?

McCain lost once to Bush in 2000. This time he lost to Bush and a wannabe Bush.

SP and Rudy-the-jerk would make a grwat team for 2012. While Rudy is busy with his adventures and SP is busy getting pranked by some radio show host, the Obama campaign will once again teach them what community organizing is all about? In case they didn’t understand what it means this time round, they will in 2012.

God, I never thought I’d find myself agreeing–but I agree with Ben here. You all talk about loving your Country but come here to continuously spew the same hate you rail against because Obama won. Too bad you couldn’t convince a mere 8 million more citizens to visit this site. I considered this a kind of “safe mental haven”during the primaries and GE–but now you are a bunch or “sore-losing-hate-mongers.” I left the Dems (consider myself a PUMA)and voted for McCain. However, the name of this site should now be called I HEART SARAH PALIN. My god, when are you all going to stop whining about how she is being treated?! She’s a big girl and is getting more politically savy by the day, especially with all this extra attention (good or bad). I think what the MSM is doing is petty and ridiculous, but do you honestly think John McCain has to come to her rescue? Four years from now she is going to be a more seasoned politician whether she runs for Governor again, the Senate or House. Governor Palin is not whining–why the hell are you?

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-11-11 14:09:38

What if the African American community and the white civil rights advocates had said the same thing about Martin Luther King when he was attacked for wanting full participation in society and government? One person can’t win the battle to right wrongs as big as racism and sexism. It takes a lot of ‘whining’ by lots of people to make change happen. I’m not willing to wait four years, just to realize that sexism is still openly celebrated in America. No matter how tough Sarah Palin may become as a result of the abuse she has received, she will never have the slightest chance of winning big if we don’t insist on fair treatment in the media. In the bigger picture, this is not about Sarah Palin. It’s about gender equality. Let the ‘whining’ continue.

How is life in this little cocoon you guys have sewn for yourself? Here are the raw poll data from the election, outside of the Republican base virtually no one wanted to see Palin as VP, let alone as POTUS. 60% of all voters (Dem, GOP and Ind.) thought she was unqualified. Only 38% of Independents found her acceptable, while only 9% of Democrats did. You expect these numbers to trend upward after she hires a PR firm to repair her image (as she’s already desperately trying to do with these soft-ball interviews on FOX). Nevertheless, nothing could ensure a second term for Obama better than to run against Palin. Really, nothing.

82% of Clinton voters voted for Obama last Tuesday. I’m not sure how that number breaks down by gender, but since women by and large voted in much higher numbers for Obama than for McCain I would suspect that more of Hillary’s women voters voted for Obama than her male voters did. That’s just logical, but I’ll try to find the #s.

Comment by Regina | 2008-11-11 16:15:32

Sarah Palin survived the vicious attacks on her and her family. I watched the Greta/Sarah interview and saw a strong woman. I also saw a woman who sees the similarities that hold us together rather than the differences that separate us. She is the governor of a state that up until now seemed obscure and unimportant. Alaska has become an important state to the lower 48 not just because of the attention Gov. Palin has recieved but more importantly because of her vision and her determination that Alaska would lead in making our country energy independent in a responsible way. That should be a goal for all of us who not only supported Hillary, but also supported McCain. The misguided Feminists holding onto the past have forgotten that science has given us more tools since the passing of roe v wade. Those feminists are locked into one issue ignoring the issues that make us similar. What makes us similar is the overwhelming sexism that prevails. Too bad that bright, intelligent, accomplished women are so tunnelled and self deprecating.

Comment by ophelia | 2008-11-11 16:15:46

Hey Ben. Since you hate Palin so much, why are you here? Makes no sense that you want to be on this site when we don’t agree with your hate. Go somewhere that is more warm and comfy!! Barky loves you. Take comfort in that. We simply don’t care what you think.
personally I would much prefer Palin to BO as she has more common sense in her little finger than he has in his entire body. All the hate Palin rhetoric just makes those of us who see her as a benefit to the political scene, solidify our energies to put her on the ticket when it is time.
I have been lurking here for many months and was hoping to see Hillary make the ticket. Now we have a chance to work for another woman. Not the same as H but it is time for the sexism to go. Obots just don’t get it. Do you Ben???

Comment by ben | 2008-11-11 16:41:18

I don’t hate her at all. In fact, I think she is quite a formidable politician. I disagree vehemently with what she stands for and her politics and was dismayed when she was elected Gov. of Alaska. I held my breath that the Palin bounce wouldn’t last as the last thing this country needs is an instinctive lurch to the right, to ever diminished separation of Church and State and to a reversal of Roe (McCain’s website stated they would aim to overturn it). Thank goodness it didn’t.

What’s wrong with a nice fiscal conservative socially laissez faire – MAN OR WOMAN – in charge of the GOP. We do not need extremists leading the show, whatever their plumbing may be.

Comment by Helen | 2008-11-11 17:33:54

Greta did a very good job with her interview. Also go to anchorage Daily News website for a series of unedited video interviews of Gov. Palin. Refreshing to find the woman I know was there before the MSM decided to do her in. I think next time she goes to an interview with Couric she needs to bring her food/water taster with her and her own video team for documentation. I wonder if she wasn’t simply dumfounded by Couric’s banality.

This woman truly mesmerized me…..the more I see her speak and behave, the more I am sure that she is the only hope for the American woman going into the future. She is the perfect template for female self confidence, intellect, intuition, determination, grit, diplomacy….all while maintaining/expressing her femininity, beauty, grace, simplicity and modesty. Amazing!!!

These traits can be mutually inclusive. NONE OF THOSE BITICHES CAN COMPETE, NOT ONE…AND THAT’S WHY THOSE FEMINISTS BITCHES H A T E H E R !!!!

They know that they look like imposters to the feminist cause…and they always have been. Their purpose was not to promote female freedom but rather to destroy males and the American Constitution (they are mostly Communists after all).

For me, their game is up and Palin’s has just started….provided that our constitutional rights survive B-H-O.
