Sarah Rocks!
If anyone can find her way around the media bias to the hearts of more Americans- it’s her.
Watched her TWICE! She ROCKS!
Sarah has learned much from this campaign. She has already begun to broaden her appeal. Sarah needs to stick with her values but come across as inclusive of more liberal feminists. Sarah needs to be the champion of Federalism, liberty, freedom and individual rights.
Sarah needs to take on Herr Romney for the leadership of the party.
My God, she is one smart women.
My God, she is one smart
womenwoman.My bad
This is a good read for PUMAS.

IT SEEMS McCain’s people were not booking Palin for post-election interviews. So not only do they leak crap but they didn’t book her so she can defend herself. So she is booking interviews herself.
http://insightanalytical.wordpress.com/2008/11/10/did-you-see-sarah-palin-live-with-greta-wow-in-the-kitchen-meal-prep-and-policy/
Somebody must feel very threatened by Governor Palin. They are “throwing everything but the kitchen sink” at her. The absurd accusations made against her and her family are so reminiscent of the attacks made on Hillary Clinton.
A few days ago on Fox’s Strategy Room one of the male participants made the comment that Sarah Palin was a liability because she is so polarizing. That is exactly what was said about Hillary Clinton. How come no men are ever accused of being polarizing? Maybe what is really meant is strong charismatic women scare the hell out of these poor guys.
Every female candidate from here on out will be considered polarizing
Polarizing….code word for Sexist
well, don’t you know, women aren’t “supposed” to be polarizing; they’re supposed to be all nice and soft and kissy-kissy, so every body loves them. if they have any self-respect and take a stand on anything, they’re polarizing bitches.
yup
it STINKS with with a capital O
Code word for “no penis”.
Hillary got hit with a grenade. Governor Plain has been hit with an arsenal of atomic bombs. There is absolutely no comparison.
Winston, surely you jest. Poor Sarah only had a few months of what Hillary put up with for a year. Not to mention previous attacks. You need to look at a recap. Make sure you watch the whole thing. Please keep notes on how many times you wince.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM
Well I guess you are right. These attacks are so sexist I can’t believe this is 2008.
Thus just reinforces the idea that Obama skated to the presidency courtesy of the MSM.
OMG. That video made me cry. I just sent it to all my sisters and neices. This is the email I sent with it.
I know this is a long video. But when I saw this, it kind of hit me as to what it was about this election cycle that was so upsetting for me.
We all know that campaigning for public office can be brutal. I think at this point that is a given. But while I agree that women should be treated the same, for me that means being criticized or even “attacked” on their experience (or lack thereof), their track record (good or bad) and their past policies or their current policies.
Should any of my sisters or neices ever decide to run for public office, I would expect that they would face these type of criticisms or attacks from those that oppose them. I would even expect hard questions from the media as they seek to weed through the all this to find out what is true and what is not true.
What I find so offensive in this day and time is the “special” attacks against female candidates; and sometimes the worst of these are even from other women!
Why is it that the mainstream media was so eager to describe Hillary Clinton as “polarizing” and then later described Sarah Palin also as “polarizing”? When was the last time you heard a male candidate described as “polarizing”. What exactly were they trying to say? Is this a code word that some decided was a good word to use when describing women? Maybe it was decided that it sounds better than “she’s just a woman”. Or, “What did you expect, she’s a woman.”
I don’t expect us, as women, to support every female candidate with our vote just because she is a female. That’s insane, of course; she still has to earn our vote and trust. But wouldn’t it be wonderful if the day came when, if any of our mothers and daughters or sisters and neices were to run for public office that they would be judged on what they bring to the table and not have their sex used to belittle them? And when other women, if they saw another woman being belittled in the media would stand up for her just because that was the right thing to do.
By the way, the definition of the word “belittle” is: to regard or portray as less impressive or important than appearances indicate; depreciate; disparage. When I see that, it all makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is why women refuse to see it for was it is and declare that “enough is enough”.
Uppity, I agree that Hillary has endured for a much longer time than Sarah. I won’t forget what was done to her. That said, Hillary is a veteran in the mine field of political bombs. She’s an old pro after more than 3 decades of walking alongside Bill. Hillary’s scars obviously acted as a shield from the nastiness. I don’t know how she took it as long as she did.
Hillary was also the star of her campaign, with ability and stature to make the historic ‘gender speech’ if she had chosen to do so. (I wish she had.) Sarah was the supporting actress in the McCain campaign, with limited power to protect herself against the barrage of sexist attacks.
Sarah was ambushed from every direction and by all sides in ways Hillary was not attacked. Hillary’s intelligence was never questioned. Over the years we have reveled in how smart she is. Yes, smarter than Bill in my opinion. Sarah has been portrayed as dumber than a fifth grader, even though she is clearly a very intelligent woman. With her being so new to the national scene, and with the help of two edited interviews by jerks, many people believed the lies. Now that the campaign is over, the GOP cowards are spreading lies about her intelligence in order to cover up their own incompetence.
Sarah was portrayed as a terrible mother. She was accused of lying about being the mother of her youngest child. Her daughter’s pregnancy was reported as being due to her poor mothering skills. Sarah’s name became synonymous with MILF in blogs and on left-wing radio shows. The rabid misogynists cut their teeth on Hillary and were ready for the next woman with the audacity to push on the cracked glass ceiling. (Thank you, Hillary, for those cracks. Don’t forget though, the misogynists are right there with their super glue hard at work.)
The media turned Sarah into Hillary’s tag team person in the race for the White House. The so-called journalists and pundits were there on the sidelines waiting for Sarah. The baton was already slimy with the filth they had thrown at Hillary. Sarah didn’t have a chance.
I believe Sarah and Hillary will prevail in the long run. They are both very intelligent and gutsy women.
Thanks, Uppity, for all your great posts. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for quite a while.
Hillary has been putting up with this sh*t since 1992 — you have got to be kidding.
I feel for Sarah Palin as well, but no one has had to put up with the mountain of disgusting crap that Hillary has — no one.
That’s true. Sarah would have to have been married to Bill Clinton for as long as Hillary has to achieve disgusting crap equivalence.
The fact that she has put up with it since 1992 speaks volumes about our political system. And the fact that Governor Palin will now be putting up with it as long as she is in government says that nothing has changed or will change. Eleanore Roosevelt, one of the women Senator Clinton admires, was treated the very same way for speaking out when her husband was president. Why should Senator Clinton and Governor Palin and the next woman in line have to put up with this? Why can’t we stop it?
During the Civil Rights movement people were told that if we heard this kind of vitriol, told racist jokes or even listened to the jokes without speaking out we were condoning racism. Why can’t we confront and speak out against sexism the way we spoke out against racism? The excuses given were people were afraid to speak out, afraid it would harm their relationships with co workers and bosses.
And over and over again on these blogs I see the same reasoning; people who admit they lied about who they were voting for because they felt threatened, avoided speaking out against the misogynistic orgy over both Palin and Clinton because their careers might be harmed. But those fighting racism alongside MLK were right; as long as we don’t insist that it stop nothing will change.
All of us have been called racist in this election even though every babyboomer contributed to the change that allowed Barry Soertoro, alias, Barack Obama to have his name on that ballot and I find it very ironic that Michelle Obama who couldn’t find anything to be proud of in this country and who benefited from all those brave people putting themselves at risk for her, is contemptious of the very conduct that she says was directed at her as a black woman.
I can understand why Barry didn’t see anything wrong with it, he was raised in Indonesia where women couldn’t even claim guardianship of their children. But Michelle Robinson was raised in the USA and by not taking a stand against sexism she is condoning it, just like those who stayed silent when black jokes were told.
I loved Hillary; however, she campaigned for Obama after telling us that he had no credentials to lead…had she have stood up against him and had she and Bill told what was going on, rather than kiss Obama’s ass and do whatever he told them to do; she would have proved to the world what a leader she would make. She lost my vote and my respect when she campaigned for him…..in essence; she did what most women do; bow to the men and I think Sarah has more backbone than that; she will not bow to the politicians…women need representation from a woman politician that will not take it from the guys….all Hill had to do was stand up and take a stand.
Surely you jest! Hillary Clinton was accused of being a racist during the Democratic Presidential nomination primaries, and during the time of Bill Clinton’s presidency, she was accused, along with her husband, of being everything from a murderer, a rapist (yes, Hillary a rapist), a financial fraudster and international arms dealer.
I think that the slime mongers were caught off guard and didn’t have time to work up a full head of steam on Sarah Palin. But, to give them their due, they certainly are trying to make up for lost time in the aftermath of the election.
I like this woman. She knows who she is and it shows. Thanks for posting the videos. I agree with Seattle Moss she should fight for the leadership of the Republican Party.
I believe that NQ can be catalyst for Sarah becoming the leader of the New Republican Party
It is going to take organization. She is going to need to surround herself with competent people; men and women who can keep their heads and strategize for victory and not just get all excited, oh so excited. Donations will not be a problem. Lady de Rothschild needs to fill a slot.
PUMAs (men and women) need to form groups at the local level. Like a franchise grown out of some kind of template. Every sane person in the US knows she is a some one we have never seen before. There are scared shitless over her. Unfortunately Hillary is part of that web. Hillary will be rolled out to smack down Governor Palin. If they can make her endorse Al Franken they can make her do anything.
Someone needs to start a fight-the-smears site. This is crucial. We exhaust our selves fighting trolls. When they appear with a falsehood we can just supply and link to the fight-the-smears site and be done with them. Or a quick cut and paste with the facts at our easy disposal and they will become demoralized with the truth.
It will be a long road but look what our founding fathers did. There is no other choice really.
Grassroots movements to focus on Sarah need to begin with a website. This can be your primary vehicle to disseminate information but I’d rec. a yahoo group or some other easily used and easily maintained means for people across the country to join. This is how you start building your lists, so focus on getting names, location, phone and email. Build a big email list for blasting important information. Start with a website and a yahoo list.
Team Sarah is doing this as well but there is room for 2-3 good groups to do with as long as they collaborate eventually.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s episode with Greta and Sarah and this time a ride on ice and a moose chili..I think…
I must say Greta has to be commended – this was one excellent interview and as I always suspected – Sarah Palin is a very intelligent and clever Governor. If the door is open a smidgen she will burst through it to 2012 I suspect. And Obama called her…. interesting.
As well as a great interviewer, Greta is a great human being with instincts that are right on. She’s one of the few journalists who has met Sarah Palin on her turf; to talk to Alaskans, to co-workers, family and those ih her community. Greta got a sense of the woman and knew the allegations were false and had no business being reported with no attribution. Good on her for traveling again to spend lots of time with the family and with Sarah.
What a sad day in America when we have to destroy a woman as amazing as Sarah Palin. I have been blessed to always have GORGEOUS, SMART, FUNNY, SUCCESSFUL and TALENTED girlfriends. I always thought that I must be the Sh*t if my friends were so cool. I can’t stand the B**tches who assaulted Sarahcuda. She IS the female Reagan. Actually, she is a politician unlike anything we have ever seen. And the ONLY reason she suffers all of these attacks are the jealousy and pettiness of women who hate their own. So what? Sarah didn’t abort Trig. So Gloria (I’m a has been filthy old whore) Steinem didn’t like it? Oh well. Guess Palin will be the President of our country and none of these feminist screwballs ever will. Anyone secure with themselves LOVES Palin. The insecure, frightened, freaks hate her. But she WILL be my President in 2012.
Here’s a song about her…”I’ve Got A Crush On My VP”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpESyx58qmA
I’m in LOVE WITH HER. And I am straight. She’s a force of nature that no jealousy will ever stop.
Sarah is stronger than most guys I know. The Republican party can be reborn with this woman.
The old republican party is dead…
Out of the ashes will emerge the New Republicans devoted to individual liberty and freedom. Against the rising socialist state and pro business.
America will be hungry for old fashion values in a few years.
Patriotism will be yearned for along with a real change…
Sarah Palin and other New Republicans will lead the way
But only those liberties that are compatible with our true christian values. The rest is anarchy.
There has to be a blend. The Ron Paul types are crazy anarchists
The right wing nuts are the other fringe.
Somewhere close to where McCain stood on the issues. The Maverick position…The Center
Sarah Palin is the Center
Sorry you are NOT the voice of REASON — you are the voice of the OLD GOP.
There must be a separation of church and state — and it is you rigid freaking Dominionist christians who want everyone to conform to your world view.
American started with many world views, many religions — and the firm believe in the separation of church and state because many of MY ancestors fled the Old World because way back then there was something called the Inquisition and Jews and anyone who believed differently than the “established/state religion” were exterminated, tortured and expelled.
I am so glad you have a personal religion — but frankly I am not interested in hearing about it.
My religion or non-religion is none of any body’s business.
I agree, Northwest.
People made a big to-do over Gov. Palin’s recent remark about G-d and whether she’d run in 2012. The articles I recall seeing most online in liberal media over the past week, regarding Palin, are “she has to give back the clothes” and “{some quote containing the word G-d}”. The whole faith thing is a lightning rod for controversy.
I happen to be a Christian, but I understand that many aren’t, and feel that references to a politician’s personal concept of G-d should be few and far between (not non-existent in general, though… — think of “in G-d we trust” and “one nation, under G-d”). It’s divisive.
Recall that many wars in history have been fought over religious beliefs, and you’ll see how polarizing they can be, even when no offense is meant.
TheVoiceOfReason = Troll
Does not sound authentic. I know evangelicals, they would never phrase it this way.
You got that right, and I am a guy (not a metrosexual). She has more strength than I will ever have. I would have crawled to the nearest corner and assumed the fetal position under so much pressure.
You must be stronger than you think to admit that.
LOL
Governor Palin is truly amazing. She has deep faith and strength..wow..she is an all American ‘girl’ and her tree has born much fruit (talent)
THANK YOU GRETA. You are the best! And funny too. We get see another side of Greta.
I had the gift of seeing her speak in person in Carson, CA. The crowd went WILD. She couldn’t even get a word in for almost ten minutes because the crowd was so nuts. SCREAMING “Sarah, Sarah, Sarah…” Of course those people were the heart and soul of America. The decent, hardworking, middle class with love of country and dignity. The Obama voters are a class of people and underbelly of this country I never knew we had the disgust of housing in America.
I was there, too, with some PUMAs. We’re Sarah fans for life. Any REPUBLICAN WOMAN who can draw 15-20 THOUSAND people in southern california is definitely a woman to be reckoned with.
PS – Mitt Romney can never be the leader of the Repub Party. He’s too smarmy. Too in love with himself. Like someone else we all know.
Romney is another hairdo. Nothing more.
Perhaps he’s a Lost Bush Boy.
But, you know, down deep, Mitt’s pretty shallow.
And I, of course, mean that in the most Loving and Constructive spirit!
Mitt can’t compete with Sarah in the human connection department. She’s real, she lives the life that others only hear about (like Romney) while he is ungodly rich, slick as snot and that meanness is real close to the surface. His money could do her harm, but not his personality.
I saw her in a rally in Jeffersonville, IN about a week or so before the election. Almost 20,000 people showed up in little ‘ol Jeff, IN and the crowd ROARED for a full ten minutes when she set foot on stage. She kept on saying ‘thank you’, ‘thank you’ (attempting to start her speech) but the crowd kept clapping and hollering louder and louder each time she said ‘thank you’). She just kept smiling – and seemed kind of embarrassed by all of the attention and the non-stop clapping, hollering and chanting ‘Sarah, Sarah’. It was AMAZING!
And people wonder why women are so often treated as if they all are BIMBOS.
That second clip just pure nonsense. I am trying to permanently erase that second clip from my mind.
My advice to females, will you please stop acting that way. What an embarrassment.
“Oh I fell on my butt”
“Oh I didn’t wash my hair”
“Oh I’m cold”
“Oh I am reading about Parties”
“Oh They thought I was a prostitute”
Jesus, They sound dumber than Paris Hilton.
And this was supposed to help Governor Palin. The first Clip was awesome. Governor Palin was very articulate. The second clip, not so much.
I want to make it clear, Governor Palin was NOT in the second clip. She was not part of the Bimbo eruption in the second video. I hope I don’t offend any PUMAS but from a guys perspective, that second clip is disgraceful.
It was fun hearing about their avdenture. Lighten up.
Oh, Winston…. ***sighing deeply*** Please bear in mind that women are not just small men. IMHO, many people would say ‘Vive la difference!’
On another note, did you hear Sarah say ‘bloggers in their parents’ basements in their pajamas’???? LOL! Someone on her staff DEFINITELY reads NQ.
this is the real Palin that should have been displayed on the campaign. not the scripted attack dog that was unleashed.
Anyone here who criticizes Palin then God help you. Because you better make sure your own life is better than hers, that you have done more for this country, and received more than an 86% approval rate for it, or else you are a jealous fraud. This country REWARDS hard work, strength and intelligence. Or, we did until Obama. Now all you have to be is a minority with no work ethic or accomplishment. Great, huh? If people want to talk crap about Palin then show me why. Because she is way MORE of a human being and politician than that FILTH OVomit will ever be,
Anybody that rags on Sarah on this site are the new trolls
Hear Hear….if you bash Palin then your skanky azz = TROLL
right ON I agree!
SKANKS
Chris Matthews does not know that Africa is a continent. No Joke.
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2008/11/10/chris-matthews-calls-africa-country
Chris Matthews is so stupid, he thinks that Cock Robin is a felony.
Why did Greta not do an hour interview with Sarah at the Governor’s office right after the nomination? It could have been used to counter those cut-and-paste interrogations done by the big network morons, which was used by the obot morons to malign her for the past month.
because the McCain campaign wouldn’t let her do any interviews
A strange thing happened to me the first time I ever saw Sarah and heard her speak. When she was first introduced by McCain as his VP on the national stage I was fortunate to be a witness. I had heard of her but had never seen her, and since I’m a political junkie, I assumed that she was chosen for generic appeal. But I started to feel a strange sensation while I listened to her seamless and straightforward acceptance of the VP candidacy, it was something I almost never experience while listening to politicians. I was smiling. It wasn’t just a grin or just an intermittent thing, it was a big toothy smile frozen on my face, I checked the mirror to be sure, and there it was. It was a smile that confirmed that I had just heard at long last, someone who confidently spoke straight from her heart directly into mine. She wasn’t a politician, she was the voice of the hard working, common sensed, and uncluttered commoners that are the soul of the American dream. I’ll never forget that.
YES YES YES…She speaks to ALL of us. OMG. I want to DIE that she isn’t our VP. I am SO not political – never gave a crap. And I am SO involved in this because I KNOW that she is what this country needs. She’s AMAZING.
I was anticipating for several months that McCain would actually pick Palin. When I heard the news on the way to work I screamed with unbelievable joy at the news. I was giddy all day pissing off the few Obamabots that work with me.
OMG Seattle…I KNEW it would happen. I knew who Palin was for months and months. My best friend and I hugged and prayed all the time that it would be HER. People say she came out of nowhere. What a lie. She was always on the list and our dreams came true that McCain picked a WOMAN, but OUR woman.
I thought it was too good to be true but McCain gave us a gift that day.
Nothing could have prevented the Bush defeat.
McCain by picking Sarah prevented a 20 point blowout.
Only because of Sarah was this election close.
DITTO!
Her power will come when she campaigns for other repubs in 2010. She will draw contributions and they end up winning. The RNC can’t refuse her then. If she draws money and votes for them, that is when they will get their heads out of their asses and see the light. Yes She Can.
Yes She Can.
Yes She Can.
I think that should be the slogan.
Bingo!!
Sarah should be out campaigning for Republicans in 2010
Unfortunately, it is because of her broad appeal (no pun intended) that she has been, and will be, the primary target of a relentless distortion campaign by the entities that feel threatened by her. People like you and I must be vigilant in her defense and never let baseless accusations, no matter how small, go unchallenged. It is a common political tactic to throw dirt in such volumes that it will overwhelm the opponent’s ability to wash it off. For months now, aside from campaigning, that is the fight Sarah has been caught up in. The fact that the dirt is still flying, after the election, is proof that Sarah is a formidable force in the future, and the only way she’ll remain politically viable is with our constant support. 2012 seems a long way off, but what we do RIGHT NOW will make it worth waiting for.
I agree andrew191. The attacks are still coming, an indicator of her true talent, the status quo is scared.
Let’s keep them scared, let’s terrify them! Let them know that the more they ridicule Sarah, the stronger our support and admiration will be. Sarah must also feel our support so that the political stress doesn’t cause her to morph into a compromising, deal making, power grubbing, ideological chameleon.
I’m fully aware that Sarah may have strong beliefs that are in conflict with many of the positions held by the people that admire her, but the fundamental fabric of her life is the fabric that has held this country together for hundreds of years. When I sense that people can set aside some of their fondly held positions in order to support more lofty and important issues, I have hope for this republic.
We all can’t agree on everything, that would be boring, let’s just hope that most of us agree that Sarah Palin represents the type of American that we can trust to uphold our Constitution. In other words, the Anti-Obama.
Isn’t it funny how people remember “where they were” the day they heard Sarah Palin was picked? (kind of like 9/11 except POSITIVE!)
I remember Hillbuzz delineating all the reasons why McCain should pick her about a month prior. Then the Clintons4McCain people were saying at the DNC convention that it was all decided: “It’s Romney.” I was dismayed. How could I, a dem, vote for ROMNEY?
hahahhaha! They were NOT “in the know” – mcCain didn’t risk getting his little secret out in any way!And what a great lil’ secret that was! Palin! A generation under Hillary and full of the guts it takes to say it like it is!!With a smile on her face!! I thought right away: She’s got TREMENDOUS POTIENTIAL!! And god I hope she’s given the chance to grow…cuz we all saw how Hillary was stopped short…
We really should all back Palin any chance we get!!
I will never EVER forget her first speech at the convention.
She was
Joan of Arc, and
Ronald Reagan, and
Margarett Thatcher, and
Mother Teresa, and
Elvis all rolled into one.
You can’t learn what she has, its in her DNA.
Yes She Can.
Yes She Can.
I don’t care if we turn into mind numbed fanatics. We have to in order to drown out the Obamunists.
If that is what it will take, I am ready.
If you look at her genealogy — she is America. Her ancestors go back to the founding of this nation.
And she has worked with her hands — and she uses her brain.
Contrast Sarah’s up front honesty with Obama’s manufactured persona.
Sarah knows who she is and she understands how governments work and she knows how to work within a governmental structure. Only long experience working from the bottom, learning each system can give someone that deep knowledge that Sarah has.
Meanwhile — Obama — well we know that all he’s done is run an educations grant project which was a complete failure (except that a bunch of people got a lot of money — but the schools didn’t improve).
No wonder Sarah threatens the hell out of Obama.
A competent woman will always scare the hell out of a male like O-zero. She didn’t need a penis to accomplish what she has in life!
Sarah Palin is related to Princess Diana, experts have revealed. She is a 10th cousin of Princes Harry and William’s late mother, according to genealogists.
And in another bizarre twist it emerged that the Republican governor of Alaska is also related to Democrat hero President Franklin D Roosevelt.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1073249/Sarah-Palin-Princess-Diana-cousins-genealogists-reveal.html
Not sure how true this is. The UK papers are very tabloid. This tells you where our MSM is going.
exactly
A quick “let us watch ourselves” note. Could we try to come together here and get something good done for our nation. We do not need to get into finger pointing, unproductive sessions pitting Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin against each other (i.e., who gets to wear the “got smeared the most” badge).
They both got slammed. And the other side was using the same sledge hammer on both of them.
I’d rather hit the other team for a change, rather than each other.
Maybe this can be a symbol of what Governor Palin was talking about tonight. A test to see if this can work. If we can bridge the gap between HC and SP (after all, they are in opposing parties), maybe there’s a way for the women of the nation to nudge a little closer together (I’m a guy but we’re hopeless so it’s up to you — and it’s high time you had a turn — we’ve screwed it up enough) and pull us all back together.
Put the fringes back on the fringe, where they belong.
Okay, gotta run.
Warmest to all.
Stand up!!!
BINGO
BINGO twice!
Because while we do this, 0bama is operating without scrutiny.
Gov. Palin is the New GOP. The so called conservatives still don’t get why they lost to a browned colored GWB.
They believe if McCain had just stuck with “consevative values”..abortion, religion etc. no matter what crisis in the world they would have won. I have had enough of kissing radical right and radical left’s ass. The fact the social conservatives decided to sit in the corner and suck their thumbs then vote is what caused the rise of the Obama media and obama win (maybe).
We need a party of patriots with ideas and goals. No more of having to pander to this group and that group (Hillary lost because the Dems. just couldn’t let the AA’s get upset and suck their thumbs).
I am having a great morning already and it is only 5:40 here in Indiana. I have read all the comments thus far and wow….you all got it going on. I wholeheartedly agree. I am such a patriotic person..love this country and am so grateful to live here and enjoy the blessings it offers. The next two years are going to be bumpy, there’s no getting around that.
I had never even heard of Govenor Palin before McCain announced her as his VP! I quickly got some background on her and was like all of you, immediately so impressed. When I heard her speak, I was mesmerized. And I am not prone to that easily at all.
Her critics are scared shitless of Governor Sarah Palin-ABSOLUTLEY, POSITIVELY SHITLESS. I agree w others….she will pave the way in 2010 for some Republicans and then we can freeze any crazy shit Obama tries to get done for 2 years. In 2012, lets help Governor Sarah Palin into the White House with a string of like-minded, hardworking, honest congress people behind her.
Someone else noted that Sarah represents what the Republican party used to be, commoners, hardworking, honest. I couldn’t agree more. There are many of us. All of the stupid, senseless criticisms will be their downfall. They’ve got nothing important to criticize her on. Maybe this corrupt, radical agenda of Obama’s is what it’s going to take for those millions of Americans to wake up out of their reality show, kool aid, selfish, spoiled stupor and start remembering what it means to live in this country and what it stands for.
Let’s all keep up this positive attitude and fight on!!
ok I had an immediate reaction here
I love Sarah but the MORE I read about how she is the NEW GOP the LESS I want to support her.
I do NOT nor will EVER be GOP
No matter how she transforms the party. (If she ever could)
I think the old greedy curmudgeons (the ones that wouldn’t help their OWN grandmothers with rent) should be purged from your party to give it more appeal. Sarah is a gentle giving soul (from what I can see) not at ALL like the Cunninghams/Stevens/Foleys or DOLES in your party.
Maybe she should start a new party! She’d have the support of a LOT Of PUMA/conservative dems and Indies.

Sarah & Hillary should run together as independents or as the Women’s Party!
Why Hillary is still loyal to the despicable green slimy creatures who call themselves dems is beyond me. They would have chained her and thrown her to the dragons if they could!
Women’s Party! Think of how much fun that would be!!!!!!
Thank God, we have some reality about Sarah Palin–albeit, too late for the election; but at least the record is being addressed. I have so many liberal Democratic women friends who bought into all the lies and distortions about her that I don’t know where to begin to respond to them. I’ve come to feel they are simply jealous and they are snobs who thought they owned “women’s rights.” It literally drove them mad to think that a Republican woman, who didn’t support abortion, could get to the White House before them….It completely challenged their belief that they are a superior and more enlightened group.
I have nothing to say to Republicans who bought this nonsense and didn’t show up to vote. They simply are too sexist and self-absorbed to realize they just shot themselves and the rest of us in the foot. This election just confirmed my suspicions about most Republicans. It also taught me that most liberal Democrats aren’t the tolerant, pro-women people I thought they were. Go Independents!
Be careful throwing the sexist label around. This is not productive. If I remember correctly a lot people including myself and many people who comment here were very offended at being labeled a racist every step of the way during this campaign.
all of the posts have me feeling positive today,
sarah palin has a inner strength,
if we stand together from here on out, together we can give her even more inner strength,
thank you for giving me something hopeful to look forward to, all of you
Looks like Greta may have opened the floodgates, and shamed some in the media into doing what they should have done two months ago. Matt Lauer followed Greta to Alaska, and got a home cooked meal and a terrific interview for his trouble. In addition to being on “On the Record” for the entire hour two nights in a row, she’s supposed to be on Wolf Blitzer tomorrow night. The McCain campaign may have held her back and kept her away from the media, but she’s unleashed now, and we are seeing the real Sarah Palin. Mishandling Gov. Palin wasn’t the only mistake of the McCain campaign, but it was probably the worst. If she had been allowed to defend herself against the media caricature, and confront some of the more egregious offenders to their face, the landslide may have been in favor of John McCain.
I heard on Fox that Sarah appears to be a real threat to the Republican establishment as well as the Dems because she severely annoyed her own party in Alaska. In fact, it appears she was very bipartisan as Governor, which didn’t go over particularly well with the powers that be (or were).
When Hillary was so ruthlessly attacked, I was angry but wasn’t terribly surprised because the MSM were always picking on the Clintons — it’s what they do. I have to admit that the raw sexism of it all really hit home though when Ms. Sarah made the scene.
They didn’t know her from Adam but immediately assumed the worst, spreading unfounded rumors as if they were fact. It was the most disgusting display of journalistic malfeasance that I have ever seen.
Despite our Democratic roots, both my husband and I became very fond of Sarah and would vote for her again if given the chance. This country has become so corrupt, it is truly frightening.
Thanks for all of these fabulous posts!! It really made my day start off on an upswing!! THANK YOU!!! I think there’s actually some light on the horizon.
I’m glad that Sarah Palin has had the opportunity to defend herself against these malicious attacks. One of the things that still sticks in my craw is the way she and Hillary were treated by the msm, and all the political mudslingers out there who hate women.
Sarah’s going to be on Larry King tonight as well.
I don’t know how many more of these she has scheduled, but frankly, I wish she’d wrap it up soon so that the media will have to focus on 0bama.
As long as she stays in the spotlight, he gets a pass. This is the same thing that happened during the Primary. It was all about Hillary.
The same mistake is being made again, and frankly for no reason because the election is over. It’s time for her to get back to work. If she wants to run for Stevens Senate seat fine. But if not, at some point she’s going to have to know when to fold her cards and fade into the background so that all eyes can be on 0bama.
Just as in June when Hillary suspended her campaign, he’s operating with no real scrutiny. This is a huge mistake with this guy. He’s been getting away with murder.
Case in point, Valerie Jarrett’ remark about 0bama being ready to ‘rule’ should be a TOP STORY.
Sarah’s going to have to accept that until 0bama falls from grace, a lot of people are going stay convinced that she’s a moron, stupid, a diva and all the other negative stuff. And all the interviews in the world aren’t going to change that.
“Sarah’s going to have to accept…..”
ur joking right?
She most CERTAINLY SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT THAT SHIT!
She has a HUGE backing of women now that will support her defense from now until the end, guaranteed! You don’t give her or any of TEAM SARAH enough credit.

Don’t forget to watch tonight. Get the interview unedited and unfiltered. Congrats to Sarah and cheers to Greta for demonstrating what fairness is all about. I like the way she indirectly made a dope out of Carl Cameron who shot off his mouth with these anonymous accusations on O’Reilly (with just a token tut, tut by O’Reilly). Greta said she herself repeatedly “grilled” someone she knows who was at the Palin briefings by staff and e.g. the “Africa continent/country” story “never happened. Also, pay attention to what’s happening at Fox. Go to the link below and see how Fox is marketing itself using the cachet of Obama:

I agree with Mimi. Sarah should go back to work and forget this; she doesn’t need to defend anything. She should to get into big fights with Mitt Romney either for party leadership. Let people come to her because she has qualities they need rather than foisting anything on others. It’s not worth it.
I mean she should NOT fight Mitt Romney for anything.
I’m still so disappointed that this woman did not become our VP.
It is America’s loss!
That’s what I was thinking. Watching this interview really made me think again about what could of been….what we could have had….now all we have is a narcissistic empty suit admiring himself in front of his mirror.
