I believe Sen. Clinton should keep her seat in the Senate. Obama doesn’t have any experience, so he wants the “best people” out there for him doing is do. Sen. Clinton is an extremely intelligent and experienced and known political figure in the world. She could fit in any position. I have no doubt about her resume or credentials. I hope that Sen. Hillary Clinton doesn’t accept this SOS spot (thinking of the capital letters: “SAME OLD SHIT’ just a different day). But only she can decide what she wants to do. And Sen. Clinton can continue doing her work as a senator and work on getting her campaign debt down; and if Obama fails, Hillary Clinton can have a shot at running in 2012. One can only “HOPE FOR REAL CHANGE” WHEN AND IF SHE BECOMES POTUS. It is just a damn shame that the “media” can’t move on without Clinton-bashing.

Some a*hole from vanity fair was rabidly attacking Clinton on Larry King tonight.
He was livid that she had not accepted the position Obama supposedly offered her.
He said that she was making a fool out of Obama.

I can’t figure that one out. I didn’t realize that it was a great insult to consider a position, and then possibly turn it down.

And if she accepts it, CNN and the NYT will be attacking away.

I sincerely doubt Hillary Clinton is the kind to go quietly into that good night. And president or not, Obama can not in any way shape or form control Bill Clinton, a former 2 term President. So my take on it is that Obama knows he is weak in foreign policy, the economy is in the toilet, and he needs Hillary and Bill Clinton to bail his a$$ out of a mess he is just now realizing the magnitude of. He is out of his element and his comfort zone. We always said if we got Hillary we got Bill. Same thing here. Why else would he surround himself with all those Clintonistas? He needs them and he knows it.

I do hope that Senator Clinton rejects the temptation to accept the SOS position because I firmly believe that this is simply a trap by Obama and his bosses(Donna, Pelosi, Dean, Kennedy,et al). We all remember how they destroyed her during the primaries. Now, they want to see her destroyed completely. this is the scenario: Obama offers the SOS position, she accepts it so she has to resign her Senate seat. Next, OBush, uhhhh-Obama makes it impossible for her to accomplish any thing, she is humiliated and is forced to resign–Like Colin Powell before Condi. Thus, she is left without the Senate and without the SOS— Mission accomplished!!!

I do think she is very unlikely to allow herself to be used in that way. If issues between herself and Obama become more public and policy oriented, the more likely scenario seems to be a protest resignation first followed by a platform on which to run in 2012.

obama thought kentucky was leaning toward clinton instead of him since the people there knew her better since it was next to her state.

KY borders 7 states but not Arkansas. it does however border ILLINOIS. obama needs a map of his own state.

Palin never said that, it was a big old lie as were all the other sexist attacks against her to make her out to be just a dumb WOMAN.

Oh, there’s a reason alright–I’m not denying that. I’m saying it’s futile to go back and forth but people still do it, should she or shouldn’t she? And I would question Emmanuel’s or Podesta’s loyalties at this point. So many defectors from the Clinton camp during and after the primaries–they have loyalty to whoever is in power. These guys sold their souls a long time ago and would deny their own relatives(like BO) if they have to.
