Oh, that’s right–NoQuarter posters like Uppity Woman and Rabble Rouser Rev Amy. Are you telling them to “go check themselves”? Because IMO, those two are a couple of the BEST posters we have here at NoQ! In fact, MOST of the awesome NoQ posters here–posters, not commenters–are the ones posting the videos that have Obama compared to Hitler and Hitler’s tactics (which I appreciate, BTW, because I haven’t the energy to seek these videos out on YouTube myself). Where the Hell does your sentiment come from, dcmediagirl? How do you reconcile that the commenters who comment like that are merely coming away from the posts with the same sentiment as the original posts?

The fact is that a lot of us still hate Bush and that hasn’t gone away, but Obama is the one who had his Blueshirts from Camp Obama raze the entire Democratic Party and then the country with the same kind of charisma (and branding) that Hitler had. Oh, and that way cool two-parter about Obama and Narcissistic Personality Disorder? I believe that too mentions something about Hitler (I believe, I’m not sure, it’s been a couple of days since I read the first part of the article). Should the author of that one “go check herself”?

Clinton’s admin had nothign to do with 911. Bush in his 1st 9 or 10 months of office reportedly took 11 vacations back to his ranch. Lord I don’t recall exact details and don’t want to google it, but I believe it was (Condi?) who was presented with secret documents of a pending attack. It was her or someone as important and close to Bush who was presented with these documents in person by a couple of intelligence people.

I’m one of those traditional Democrats who was unhappy with Dean, Pelosi, Reid, et al, and I’m still here. The NQ Blog is the only blog where I feel comfortable in posting my thoughts and comments. I’m not leaving.

Andrew191 posted a very articulate, well-framed comment about our Hitler comparison. You don’t get it, so fuck off. But hear this: I ran into a few people during this election cycle who don’t do blogs or the Internet, who are basically incommunicado with editorials and political-speak who on their own conjured up the Hitler analogy and how all this adoration of 0bama reminded them of that. And these were not necessarily anti-0bama people. They were just people who were picking up on vibrations. And those signs are there.

If I were betting, I would bet against anything like this occurring. But my eyes are open and I’m more comfortable that way. And no amount of ridicule from people like you will make me discount my gut instincts. I trust my gut more than anything.
