The ease at which one can internaize a reason to stuggle and loose sight of the WHY part…all to easy.

Olbermann actually criticized Palin if she became a Senator that she would esssentially have to start running for President immediately.

Um….like Obama did!!?

Geez….how he can say that with a straight face is amazing.

Republican or democratic, they’re both corrupt, it’s important to see things as they are, not as you want them to be, there are no heroes, here, at least not in the congress, executive, or judiciary.

Not public heroes, anyway.

Putin isn’t afraid of those he owns, and that includes, indirectly anyway, a lot of American politicians.

Susan gave the example above, via Hitchens, of Hillary Clinton and Pakistan. I don’t know if it’s true, but really, it’s the model they all use, why would a foreign govt be afriad of a US govt it can pay off? And that makes Hitchens rant all the more spurious, ie, Clinton? What about the rest, they all do it…?

And isn’t that why a lot of us deride Obama?

(Obama lying, though, Clinton, and McCain never really hid their lobbyist connections).

I noted in comments yesterday that the msm has a profound hatred of the Clintons – so much so that they will use any situation to frame her as a monster (“purge”) in order to promote the population’s hatred of her. This vicious objective overrides any responsibility they have to not undermine with slander our government’s success and world peace, or their championship of Barack Obama. I think it is best to recognize the msm for what it is and certainly not credit any of their analyses.

The differences are horrifying, however. We go forward with no physical space showing what has happened, no new constitutional clauses, no new call to equality for all, no new to-do list to eradicate the deep injustices of the past — we go forward with a vast and still-contested accumulation of cultural evidence still floating around in bits and bytes, our feelings and new knowledges, and ambiguous uncertain gains and goals.

But I am committed to living as if gender issues will not always take second (or 1000th) place to everything else people do.
