What strange times we live in. I wish we could figure out what makes people like US immune to this crap. Because it wasn’t just the stupid people I know who were pulled into Obot trances, some very well-educated, older, informed people were.

That One campaign was a con game. It happens all the time. This one was different only in scale. He fooled a lot of people, including many of my relatives. The only ones who weren’t fooled were the ones who are immune to conmen. If something is too good to be true, then it is false.

I also like the section about anything opposing your object of elevation evokes disgust – hence the Obot reaction to Hillary, then McCain and Palin. Remember the press telling us what a disgusting negative campaign McCain was running? Excuse me? He wasn’t even willing to mention Jeremiah Wright. He ran spoofy celebrity ads. Then the night McCain concedes, Obots finally have praise for him.

However, the actual words of Obama’s speeches really cross a line that the speeches of other politicians do not. He makes himself the object of the hope.

What makes us immune to his crap speeches when all around us people are swooning? It’s like everybody dropped acid only my tab was bunk.

I must be immune to trance induction techniques. Obama’s slow speech and vagueness accompanied by the numerous “uhs” annoyed me to no end. He lost my attention before he ever got to counting.
