21: A Number Emanuel and Obama Will Remember on Fitzmas

(bumped up by Susan)

According to Michael Sneed of the Chicago Sun-Times, Rahm Emanuel was not recorded in one, two, three, four or five conversations captured by the feds; he participated in TWENTY-ONE conversations recorded by Fitzgerald’s team.

Allow me to write the number again: 21. I quote Michael Sneed:

Sneed hears rumbles President-elect Barack Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, is reportedly on 21 different taped conversations by the feds — dealing with his boss’ vacant Senate seat!

A lot of chit-chat?

Hot air?

Or trouble?

I guess a lot of trouble. For it was Barack Obama who uttered the following words yesterday:

“I have never spoken to the governor on this subject. I am confident that no representatives of mine would have any part of any deals related to this seat. I think the materials released by the U.S. attorney reflect that fact,” Obama said at a Chicago news conference.

There are twenty-one conversations recorded by the feds that do not “reflect that fact.”

And it was Obama who claimed yesterday an internal investigation of his transition offices conducted by his future White House Counsel yielded no evidence of inappropriate contact with Rod Blagojevich.

President-elect Barack Obama said Monday a review by his own lawyer shows he had no direct contact with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich about the appointment of a Senate replacement, and transition aides “did nothing inappropriate.”

Maybe Obama will retract this statement now that everyone knows Rahm Emanuel participated in 21 calls recorded by the feds during their investigation of Rod Blagojevich and dirty Chicago machine politics.

21: no wonder why Rahm Emanuel is skulking about, standing in the wings and avoiding reporters. Participating in 21 conversations that the feds thought were relevant to their investigation of Blagojevich and “pay to play” politics in inner city Chicago, Emanuel is certainly redefining what Obama views as appropriate and inappropriate conduct. And we have yet to discuss the problem of the list of candidates Obama approved that Emanuel disseminated to Blagojevich’s operatives.

Remember the number 21, for this number is on the minds of Emanuel and Obama.

Isn’t that just amazing. 21 taped conversations of Rahm in disussions on the Senate seat alone. And how does this equate to no contact….retracted to “no inappropriate”. Please.

Lets recap:

Blagojevish is taped complaining about not getting a deal from Obama’s team.

Obama states he has had no contact with the governor about the matter, and his staff had no part in any “deals” for the seat.

Fitzpatrick states that Obama is not under investigation.

No evidence is revealed so fart that indicates any deal was made, only that Rahm discussed the matter 21 times.

So Obama is so far smelling like a rose, and that seems to make the angry PUMAs even madder.

Any questions?

Comment by Cindy | 2008-12-16 21:52:21

Yes, I have a question: Does your mother know you’re up this late?

heartland dem are you one of those fools that don’t lock your door when you leave home?

Do you tell your children to leave with strangers, if they have a great gut feeling about them, especially if they offer them candy?

Do you hitchhike and believe other stupid for not doing it?

The reason why normal people do those things is because we don’t like getting robbed or kidnapped. We don’t take chances, with out lives and with things that are important to us. The problem is not that we see problems with obama, the problems is you don’t. After having bush and his cabinet use our treasury for an atm, i CARE if my future president is involved in simular activity. It’s not a distraction it’s common sense.

Fitzgerald…it’s Fitzgerald and he said that Obama was not under indictment or not named in the complaint filed against Blagojevich. Big difference.

He doesn’t have to investigate Obama. The evidence will speak for itself.

21 contacts by Emanuel is too hard to hide or pass off. Emanuel acted on his own? Don’t think so… Obama is in deep shyt from the aspect of the lies he’s already told, the bogus internal investigation he’s tried to pass off and the unknown information Rezko, Blagojevich, Levine, et al have given to the feds.

Comment by heartland dem | 2008-12-16 23:57:36

Exactly – the evidence will speak for itself. But by then this site will have moved on to the next manufactured scandal. Yesterday it was an imaginary meeting between Blagojevich and Obama. Today it’s extrapolating a simple leaked statement into an admission of guilt. Two months ago it was athe “whitey tape”… can the angry Pumas keep this up a whole eight years?

Comment by Donna Brazile | 2008-12-17 00:02:35

Comment by McHope | 2008-12-17 00:18:07

Heartland Dem,
If Obama’s Chicago ties and his involvement in the pay to play politics that are completely pervasive in IL are suitable for you, fine. But others see this as a problem.

If Blagojevich is guilty of wrong doing, Obama is as well. They all use the same tactics in Chicago.
Aside from the senate seat- look into: -Operation Board games
-The illegal appraisal of the Obama property subsidized by convitced felon, Rezko
-The political maneuvering which resulted in the privatizing of public housing and allocation of funds directly to Rezko which were misused and mishandled
-The appointment and pay raise given to Michelle Obama after Sen Obama’s allocation of funds to her workplace

To imply that Obama could survive much less succeed and prosper in the sewer of Chicago politics without getting wet is preposterous. Common sense fully dictates otherwise.

So again, if these types of actions are suitable for you and you value them as an attribute of your president, so be it. But do not insult the intelligence and decency of others by simply denying the obvious.

Comment by sarainitaly | 2008-12-17 06:13:58

what do people think obama’s land deal with Rezko was? It has *pay to play* all over it. Rezko bought the lot, and Obama awarded contracts to Rezko…if that isn’t pay to play, i don’t know what is.

Comment by Buzz Latte | 2008-12-17 01:13:31

The fact of the matter is, Heartland, you are extrapolating information, or spinning it, to suit your notion that Obama is not guilty at any point or level.

That simply doesn’t fly as Obama was named in the opening statements of the Rezko trial as one of two politicians that Rezko had dealings with. Do you know who the other one was that was named?

Wait for it….

Blagojevich

Now please inform yourself as to the true Obama by reading Pringle’s expose on Obama.

Since your not a investigative journalist and Pringle is…guess who we’re more apt to believe.

Comment by heartland dem | 2008-12-17 02:16:49

Keep changing the subject… How about we talk about his birth certificate again as well.

My point has not been refuted, that in regards to THIS investigation, NOTHING illegal or unethical has been uncovered or even intimated. Unless you feel that Emanuel speaking to the sitting Governor about a vacated seat is illegal. It clearly is not on it’s face, and I can’t WAIT to hear the actual details. Please promise to come back to the relevant thread so I may laugh at you or you may laugh at me, won’t you?

Deal?

Heartland Dem, according to the pols in ILL, Blagojevich was the only one to do anything wrong or, at least, he and Rezko. Could it be you are politically naive or do you know all about pay to play and don’t care?

This is not about sending him or Obama to prison. If some questions had been asked of GWB and a little honest vetting had happened, if the American people had been told the truth about him eight years ago, we would be better off. The Republicans prevented that from happening then, so how can you justify the same attitude now?

This most definitely is not about your ego. It is about what’s best for us, the country and I am sick of spin and evasion. If he didn’t play the Board Game, he has nothing to worry about so why don’t we have some transparency instead of excuses?

Comment by heartland dem | 2008-12-17 00:00:36

What hasn’t been transparent about ANYTHING Obama has said, done or claimed here?

It’s only non-transparent if you believe he is lying!

Quid pro quo indeed.

Comment by McHope | 2008-12-17 00:25:58

It’s only non-transparent if you believe he is lying!

It’s not even transparent if you believe he’s telling the truth.
He should be releasing all communication between himself or any surrogate and Gov Blagojevich. He’s waiting it out like he always does, daring the press to even question him. He knows all the lies and half truths he’s told. He knows the questions that have never been asked- you just don’t.

You believe he’s transparent? He won’t even release the most commonly used and easily obtainable document in American society to calm the fears and prove his complete transparency to those he seeks to serve- his own birth certificate.

It’s a good thing you don’t need to see it to profess your undying love for a man you surely do not know because if you did, his answer to you is a BIG flip of the middle finger.

Comment by heartland dem | 2008-12-17 01:14:52

Hyperbole. Always here. I don’t love the man – at least in the way that you people slavishly drooled all over the Clintons. I am in love with the idea of a fresh start and an administration that is sober and gets things done for the good of the country. So far I am very impressed with the choices and hte staff Obama is picking. It’s funny too – because they are solid experienced performers, as I knew they would be. By this site, you would have thought he was going to promote Farakkhan to SOS. Angry Pumas…

I don’t give a shit what color Michelle Obama’s inaugural dress is, although I’m sure that will be the subject of at least 5 blog posts here. That seems to be the level of discourse here.

Comment by WIldChild | 2008-12-17 01:20:18

Fresh start eh? It must kill you that they’re starting the investigation on BOBO’s whitewater housing deal with his BFF tony resko.

Yup, there’s nothing like a fresh start to a repeat of the nineties. Yes sir ree bob….. nothing like it.

Comment by Marley | 2008-12-17 04:47:36

You must feel like a prince with all this attention you are getting. At least you are transparent. People like you, who must respond to everyone and everything, are actually good to prompt discussion. Keep doing what you are doing but watch your insults. Every now and then you make sense, but your points are lost because you act as if you already know everything.

Comment by elise | 2008-12-17 00:53:52

Heartland, I’m not going to reprise all of the evasions and misstatements of the last year. It would be a waste of time since we both know you will never accept the truth.

There are still some who think Richard Nixon was framed or we never landed on the moon. I believe he has been lying since the day he announced his presidency. I believe GWB lied.

Obama denied doing something anyone would expect him to do; Make recommendations for the appointment of the senate seat he is vacating.

I’m going to make a wild guess here, but I imagine someone from his office has already spoken to Gov. Patterson about Hillary’s replacement. Why wouldn’t he have talked to Blago? It’s perfectly logical. But, he said he didn’t. Has Emanuel or someone else spoken with Patterson? I wonder if he would answer that question?

Transparency: as used in the humanities, when used in a social context, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a “transparent” object is one that can be seen through. Transparent procedures include open meetings, financial disclosure statements, the freedom of information legislation, budgetary review, audits, etc.

Not Obama.

None of the facts, on their surface, implicate ANY wrong doing by Obama or Emanuel.

Comment by Buzz Latte | 2008-12-17 01:38:35

Ah, you just qualified your own statement – on their surface – so what’s your argument?

No one buying your point of view, so what do you need – validation?

Okay, so as much as you know, you are correct. However, if you would care to educate yourself, you conclusion might be different.

However, the whole scenario is just unfolding. No need to feel you must be the champion for Obama.

Fact of the matter: NO one on here knows what the feds know. It’s speculation on our parts but it is absolutely speculation on your part, Heartland, that Obama is not involved.

You simply do not have enough information to make that blanket judgement and expect those that have in depth information on the machinations of Obama, Chicago, the Rezko deals, etc to believe you.

Your time would be better spent educating yourself as to the real Obama.

That’s true, it in no way equates to “no contact”. The only peerson who said they had “no contact” IS Obama. Of his team, he said the were part of “no deals”. THAT IN NO WAY precludes any number of conversations between Rahm and Blagojevich. They could have had 100 conversations legally if there was no “deal-making” aka corrupt activities going on.

Can you people read??? The taped conversations were between Rahm and Blagojevich, not Obama. So that supports Obama’s statements.

You can’t just make shit up.

Comment by Truthteller | 2008-12-16 21:53:41

And I am sure you think it is perfectly appropriate for Obama’s future Chief of Staff to engage 21 times with someone under FBI investigation. Obama’s Chief of Staff is recorded on 21 conversations captured by the feds.

21

Obama would not answer questions about Emanuel when asked.

21

Think about it.

Comment by heartland dem | 2008-12-16 22:03:27

I have no idea how many times would be a reasonable amount of time to discuss – not sell- bnut discuss a senate seat for the United States Congress. 21 times could be quite appropriate under normal circumstances. Just becasue you repeat teh number a bunch of times does not make it more SCARY. It’s also quite probable that a pitbull like Rahm did not want to take the crap that Blago was trying to foist and tried to force him to drop his BS and accept their list of acceptable candidates without any preconditions. In that circumstance, nad with those players it’s possible that 100 calls could be made. I’ve made a dozen or more myself to various friends (or enemies)in a short space in times of intensity over NOTHING… a Senate seat is a whole other matter.

Comment by benny | 2008-12-16 22:18:40

Ya’ll been standing in the mustard grass too long.

Furthermore, 21 (the number of spiritual lessons awaiting the Fool) is the sum of the first 6 digits, that is, 21 = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6, a fact that was not lost on the original creators of the Tarot deck.

Comment by C.S. | 2008-12-17 00:05:06

What happens to an Illinois senate seat is none of Soertoro/Obama’s business. He is finished with the Senate. He moved, illegally according to the election process, from the Legislative branch of government into the Executive branch of government. As a teacher of the constitution Soertoro should know that he doesn’t appoint a successor, the governor does that without any input from the previous occupant. There can be advice but that is all. Even a president doesn’t have the authority to make a governor obey him. That’s where Blagojevich went wrong; he should have just appointed someone instead of dealing with the Obama machine; they’re slippery than eels and have a shark’s bite when you don’t do what they say. I hope they get on with the trial and move on to the Obama Political Machine before any more damage is done to Our Country.

Conversation 2: “Rod, didn’t I tell you the day before yesterday the President Elect would have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any pay to play scheme?”

Comment by cc | 2008-12-16 22:25:39

everyone keeps saying bo’s team didn’t hatch a scheme…but you know, didn’t blago say “they told me I’d have to wait two years.” sorry, but no matter if the payoff is now or two years from now, that’s still a pay off. it’s just a deferred pay off. only thing is blago isn’t stupid..he knows bo can’t be trusted so he’d never give up something without having what he wanted first.

Comment by Clara Barton | 2008-12-16 23:30:28

The Zero, via Rahm, put Blago on the lay away plan. First installment due now by way of an appointment and final payments due in 2 years.

PEBO got a tad testy today in his presser. How arrogant to say to the reporter asking the question “You don’t want to waste your question…”

Comment by Wisewoman | 2008-12-17 21:54:21

Soldier of C: I notice you never fail to take a shot at Hillary no matter the topic. Listen I know you are highly disappointed in her actions and behavior; so am I. As a black woman I admired her greatly and followed her and all the pitfalls of her campaign. She initially made one huge mistake and after that she doomed herself. That mistake was not listening to her husband who tried to advise her to fight the racism charges forcefully during the SC primary. He immediately tried (without her permission) by going on black talk radio programs like Tom Joyner. As we say in the black vernacular, he “clowned” on them for even suggesting he or she were racist. He understood the devastation of the charges, SHE DID NOT. She should have allowed him to continue his efforts but she insisted he cease saying that she called the shots in her campaign. That was a major mistake on her part not his. She followed up on that mistake by not pounding on his lack of achievements and accomplishments. Instead she allowed herself to be put on the defense about her own record, especially her foreign policy record. She kept backing off him as did Mccain. Her every move since suspending her campaign has been a detriment to her political future. The problem is that again she doesn’t know it. Give Obama less than 2 years and she will be replaced with Susan Rice as SOS. Caroline Kennedy will have her senate seat and she will be “knocked” out of the party. She will be used as a patsy.

Incidentally she has not endorsed Caroline but how does she dare oppose her especially since she is a woman? As I understand it, she has merely asked her supporters not to involve her in any action to oppose Caroline. These are the actions of one who was on top but now will be at the bottom; an object of pity. SHE BLEW IT AT A CRITICAL POINT, (NOT LISTENING TO HER HUSBAND) SOMETIMES YOU CAN’T RECOVER. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO HER. SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN AGAINST A “BLACK” GUY.

Does anyone else remember this from the primaries?

2/26/08 – CTV reported that a senior member of Obama’s campaign called the Canadian embassy within the last month — saying that when Senator Obama talks about opting out of the free trade deal, the Canadian government shouldn’t worry. The operative said it was just campaign rhetoric not to be taken seriously. [CTV, 2/27/08]

2/26/08 – “Late Wednesday, Obama campaign said the staff member’s warning to Wilson sounded implausible, but did not deny that contact had been made. ‘Senator Obama does not make promises he doesn’t intend to keep,’ the spokesperson said.” [CTV, 2/27/08]

2/27/08 – “Earlier Thursday, the Obama campaign insisted that no conversations have taken place with any of its senior ranks and representatives of the Canadian government on the NAFTA issue.” [CTV, 2/29/08]

2/27/08 – Goolsbee: Canada’s consul general in Chicago contacted him ‘at one point to say ‘hello’ because their office is around the corner.’ [ABC, 2/29/08]

2/27/08 – Goolsbee: “I am not confirming or denying any meetings with anyone,’ Goolsbee told ABC News, directing queries to Bill Burton, Obama’s campaign spokesperson.” [ABC News, 2/29/08]

2/27/08 – “ABC News spoke to Goolsbee, Thursday, and who denied calling the Canadian embassy in Washington, or calling Rioux, but would “neither confirm nor deny” whether he had spoke to Rioux about Obama’s NAFTA rhetoric.” [ABC News, 2/29/08]

2/27/08 – CTV: “On Thursday night, CTV spoke with Goolsbee, but he refused to say whether he had such a conversation with the Canadian government office in Chicago. He also said he has been told to direct any questions to the campaign headquarters.” [CTV, 2/29/08]

2/27/08 – CTV: “The Obama campaign told CTV late Thursday night that no message was passed to the Canadian government that suggests that Obama does not mean what he says about opting out of NAFTA if it is not renegotiated.” [CTV, 2/29/08]

2/28/08 – Burton: “It’s telling that the Clinton campaign’s closing argument is based on a story run on a Canadian television station that’s already been debunked by the Canadian Embassy.” [ABC, 2/29/08]

2/28/08 – Burton: “Again, this story is not true. There was no one at any level of our campaign, at any point, anywhere, who said or otherwise implied Obama was backing away from his consistent position on trade. The only flip-flopping on NAFTA has come from Sen. Clinton, who talked about how good it was for America until she started running for President,” [ABC, 2/29/08]

2/28/08 – Sen. Obama: “The Canadian government put out a statement saying that this was just not true, so I don’t know who the sources were.” [CTV news, 2/29/08]

2/28/08 – Rice: “The Canadian ambassador issued a statement that was absolutely false. There had been no contact. There had been no discussions on NAFTA. So we take the Canadians at their word…period.” [MSNBC, 2/28/08]

2/29/08: Sen. Obama: “Our office has said the story is not true. It’s important for viewers to understand that it was not true.” Anchor: “So, completely inaccurate, did not happen, end of discussion.” Sen. Obama: “It did not happen.” [WKYC TV, 2/29/08]

2/29/08 – Goolsbee: “It is a totally inaccurate story…I did not call these people and I direct you to the press office.” [New York Observer, 2/29/08]

2/29/08 – Plouffe: “The story’s just not true…. No one in our campaign has said or otherwise implied that he would back away from his position on NAFTA.” [The Page, 2/29/08]

2/29/08 – Burton: “There was no one at any level of our campaign, at any point, anywhere, who said or otherwise implied Obama was backing away from his consistent position on trade.” [Politico, 2/29/08]

Section 3 allows for a very messy process.

Don’t kid yourselves. He will be sworn in. All of the savages in suits have clams in the game. Last thing they want is world panic. Give the economy two years to come back and the shit hits the fan. Which is why a number of conservatives are urging the Republicans to ease up. This stuff isn’t going away. It’s only going to accrue more interest. And everyone wins except for barky. The media has stories. The comedians have material. The economy recovers. The unions get stronger. New careers are developed. The only loser? The one at the top. Watch him to age faster than any previous occupant of the WH. It will be sped up and he will be a wreck by time the boom is lowered. It won’t be soon because the US of A can’t afford it. But it is coming. In the mean time, my new favorite song is Carly Simon’s Anticipation — imagine how much it really really sucks to be Barack Insane 0bama ….

I have been saying this forever. In 1933, we anticipated that the President-Elect might not qualify for the job, when states ratified the 20th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In other words, that BO is ineligible will not create a Constitutional crisis; that is, as long as Congress admits his deception before January 20, 2009.

Wow, Between this and the “Not a Natural Born Citizen” problem, Barry is up to his eyeball in poo. Remember, The Constitution and the Federalist papers (explaining the constitution in better detail) state that a Natural Born Citizen has 2 parents that are US Citizens and is born on American Soil. Barry’s Dad was born in Kenya (British Colony in 1961), and his Mom was a Minor (in 1961) when he was born. Barry’s Own Website states that at birth he held DUAL CITIZENSHIP due to his father being Kenyan. The British Nationality Act of 1948 states that his Father’s Citizenship Transfered to his children. Him Mom being 18, the constitution states that she had to be a Citizen of the US for more that 10 years, 5 of which needs to be after the age of 14 years. She was born in November, and she had him in August. 3 months shy to confer her US Citizenship upon her. It’s all in the Constitution and on Barry’s OWN website. Therefore he is NOT a “Natural Born Citizen” of the US, just a Naturalized Citizen. Citizen by LAW, not Citizen by BIRTH.

Comment by Barrington | 2008-12-17 02:27:56

I believe a parent being a US citizen mattters ONLY IF you are NOT born on US soil. The bit about his mom not being old enough only comes into play if Obama was NOT born in Hawaii.

If he was truly born in Hawaii, he is a citizen, regardless of his parents (pregnant Mexicans run over the border to have their kids here so they’ll be citizens).

The other issue is whether he had Indonesian citizenship, giving up his US citizenship during that time.

Comment by stodgie | 2008-12-17 02:41:06

barrington i believe the stipulation about being born on american soil is very concise on that point. the question in most minds is why won’t obama show his birth certificate, harvard grades, medical records, etc. he wants us to follow him and trust him yet he hides the very thing any politican has been glad to share when running for president. scratch head and wonder!

Comment by lark | 2008-12-17 03:43:34

There are witnesses in Kenya that attest he was born in Kenya. Witnesses.

He has lied so many times, explicitly and in public that the bc is now required – he is not trustworthy.

Comment by Elizabeth | 2008-12-17 07:00:16

Is that just your opinon ? It was my understanding under the law at the time of birth Obama’s mother would not have been old enough to confer citizenship.

“If a child is born abroad and one parent was a U.S. Citizen, which would have been his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother would have had to live ten (10) years in the United States, five (5) of which were after the age of fourteen (14). At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother was only eighteen (18) and therefore did not meet the residency requirements under the law to give her son (Obama) U.S. Citizenship”

Comment by Wisewoman | 2008-12-17 22:13:34

Your example of pregnant Mexicans running over the border to give birth so the babies are citizens of the US does not fit. They still could not be POTUS because they are not natural born citizens (both parents were not citizens at the time of the child’s birth). Did you watch the video that explains this aspect?

Heartland Dem,
“Fitzpatrick states that Obama is not under investigation” – WRONG!

He only said (drumroll), “there’s no reference in the complaint to any conversations involving the president-elect or indicating that the president-elect was aware of it, and that’s all I can say.”

Yes, Heartland, that means what is means. There was no reference to Obama in that paperwork filed last week.
Big deal! Surely you realize this investigation is in the early stages and little fish lead to bigger fish…
Tisk-tisk!

A mental epidemic leaps from person to person across leagues. It is overwhelmingly contagious. It strikes at the unprotected side, in the place where we lodge the fragments of other such plagues. Who can stop such a thing? The thing has roots in chaos.

Joe Scarborough’s rant on TV was the most eloquent depiction of poor journalism, captured by the media this year. Thank you Joe for the gift. It captured the sheer incompetence of the MSM. It showed what a good editor would demand, and what the lazy editors and journalists are doing. Their inept coverage of the election would make Edward R. Murrow roll over in his grave. It was absolutely perfect. Did you notice that neither journalist had a reasonable or adequate response to JS questions? They acted like, why are you asking me? no one has asked me those questions before? I KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT! I can tell America what is right and wrong, and Obama is right.

They were asked fundamental journalism questions. It is amazing that both veteran journalists just sat there and gave idiotic responses. It goes to show you that their editors have not even questioned their ethics or professionalism, because if they had been questioned in the past about this, they are quick enough and smart enough to throw back a typical neutral response, however they could not. They were blind sided in their own profession, because they are no longer professionals, they have turned themselves into mindless hacks. It was a truly graphic snap shot of what is going on in the news media. JS was doing what a good editor should be doing. Now we have insight into what is really going on and now we can see how poor the editors and the journalists in the MSM really are!!!!

Does Fitzgerald know about this???? Did Obama get the ENTIRE $600,000 lot (not part of it as alleged) from the Rezkos for $125,000? From Jo Chgo over at TD blog:

I put the assessor’s parcel number into our friend Google, and this old blog post (APril 2008) from the Chicago Sun-Times pulled up. Hiding all in plain sight. What does it mean?

By Anna on April 26, 2008 4:42 PM
Dear Natasha and Chicago Sun Times Reporters,-
This link has some very curious information, some of which, I include below. If true this raises some questions for Sen. Obama (and some eyebrows) – Is this property linked to the bail of Tony Rezko?http://www.democrats.org/page/community/blog/mikestein
“Examine the Cook County land records:
“The deed for the house that the Obama’s purchased for $300k less than the asking price is from Frederic Wondisford and his wife, Sally Radovic, to the Obama’s Northern Trust Company Land Trust #10209 (established as such for “confidentiality”) is dated 15 June 2005 and is recorded 21 June 2005 as Document #0517233010. Declared value is $1,650,000.00.The deed for the vacant lot is from Wondisford/Radovic to Rita M. Rezko. This deed is dated 15 June 2005 and recorded a day earlier, on 20 June 2005 as Document #0517133004. Declared value is $625,000.00. Examination of the Cook County records very clearly indicates that Rita M. Rezko conveyed the entire lot to Obama’s Northern Trust Company Land Trust #10209 on 11 January 2006 and recorded 16 February 2006 as Document #0604733162. Declared value is $104,500.00.VERY IMPORTANTLY, thorough and careful examination of all Cook County land records fails to locate a deed back to Rita M. Rezko from the Obama’s Northern Trust Company Land Trust #10209.There is a “wild’ deed indicated from Rita M. Rezko to “5050 S. Greenwood LLC”. This is an Illinois limited liability corporation with the same address as Rezmar Corporation that is registered to the indicted Tony Rezko. (This deed is considered “wild” because it is not supported by any ownership deed from the Obama’s Land Trust.) Furthermore, Tony Rezko’s registered corporation, 5050 S. Greenwood LLC, then pledges the entire vacant lot in favor of a mortgage THAT IS STILL OPEN with Fifth Third Bank for the amount of $375,000.00. This is Document #0703357023 recorded 2 February 2007. THUS, THE ENTIRE VACANT LOT IS TITLED TO SEN. BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA (IN THEIR LAND TRUST FOR CONFIDENTIALITY) AND ALLOWED BY SENATOR BARACK AND MICHELLE OBAMA TO BE PLEDGED BY A TONY REZKO CORPORATION TO SECURE A LOAN.
This is contrary to what has been stated by Senator Obama; contrary to what has been stated by Senator Obama’s campaign staff: and contrary to what has been reported. It must be noted that a seemingly intelligent Harvard educated attorney does not make such unknowing errors as stated above. The above is obvious intent not “oversight”.
The home property description is 20-11-115-034-0000
The (entire) lot description is 20-11-115-035-0000
Originally, the entire piece of property was one description…so that the Obama’s could afford purchase, they pressed for the split. To do this, the county had to assign two property descriptions for each conveyance…and so that they could close on the same day as insisted by seller. Thus, to answer your question, which can very easily be determined…to sell only a portion of the lot, there would have to be assigned two (new) property descriptions for the lot…but that was never done and, obviously, not desired or requested.Proof positive that Obama and Rezko are partners. Everything that he said was false…Note, too, that Obama’s campaign stated that Rita Rezko sold the lot to Michael Sreenam, one of her husband’s attorneys…as the fable goes, for a profit…to make the whole scenario plausible…”

How To Buy A Mansion You Can’t Afford

JP, Michigan – I don’t know if either of these individuals who researched and reported the information attempted to contact the media. Frankly, the only news people that seem to have the guts to dig into this story are the Sun Times Reporters and that’s why I submitted the link and info as soon as I found it, hoping they would allow the posting.
Sun Times Reporters – please let us know if this information is valid or not. Thanks again for your outstanding reporting. And Bravo on the well deserved award you received!

What is with this Alsammarae guy, he escapes from Iraq, his $160 million dollar Chamchamal deal falls through, he’s wanted by Interpol, he’s seen in a 60 Minute report “Sate of Corruption” with George Bush. Rezko, Mahru,Frawley and AlSammarae were all partners to build a Electricity plant for Iraq which turned out to be a scam. In the Human Events report “The Fugitive” he said that he went to school with Rezko at ITT back in 1970. Dosn’t the F.B.I. have some sort of relationship with Interpol, some kind of obligation to deliver him back? He has already been found guilty in Iraq.

To me this is a game changer. Why aren’t people outrage at this. Obama was explicitly asked questions on this during the primaries against Hillary and he answer fraudulently to the MSM and the public. That need to have consequences otherwise elections are worthless. Obama committed fraud on the voters just like ACORN did. No different. They were one and the same, two faces of the same coin.

Always look for the qualifier in political speak!
Each adjective is inserted to nullify any statement…each one is always amendable at a later date.
That’s the real beauty of the art of politics…bob and weave, never commit, never get pinned down!
