This Is Why…

I delete emails from organizations like SLDN when they send crap like this new logo:
Or this email from PFLAG:

Because of stories like THIS one:
President-elect Barack Obama’s swearing-in ceremony will feature big names like minister Rick Warren and legendary singer Aretha Franklin, the Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies announced Wednesday.Warren, the prominent evangelical and founder of the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, will deliver the ceremony’s invocation. The minister hosted a presidential forum at his church last summer that challenged both Obama and Arizona Sen. John McCain on a host of faith-related issues. Warren did not endorse either presidential candidate.
His public support for California’s Proposition 8 — the measure that successfully passed and called for outlawing gay marriage in the state — sparked the ire of many gay rights proponents, who seized on a comment in an October newsletter to his congregation: “This is not a political issue — it is a moral issue that God has spoken clearly about.” (emphasis mine)
You know, I really don’t relish having to say, “I told you so,” but dammit, I did. So did a whole bunch of other people. Obama has never done ANYTHING but give lip service to the GLBT community – WHEN are people going to get that through their thick heads???
And really, for SLDN (Servicemembers Legal Defense Network) to be so gung-ho after Obama has put off – AGAIN – his “commitment” to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” until at least 2010 just blows my mind. Wow.
Don’t get me wrong, they are both good organizations, and do good work. But, really, what in the WORLD in Obama’s history makes them think for one SECOND that Obama is going to do ANYTHING for this community? He has demonstrated time and time and time AGAIN, with his actions, his words, and his associates, that he doesn’t give one good damn about the GLBT community. Yet there everyone is, falling all over themselves to connect with The One. How sad And infuriating.
Add to that this email I got today from WomenCount, and I am just bashing my head against the wall:
Dear Friends,In recent days we have been urged by some of our colleagues in the world of women’s advocacy to call attention to President-elect Obama’s failure to nominate more women to his Cabinet.
Rather than speak out, we have given him the benefit of the doubt and encouraged others to do the same – until now.
With this week’s announcements, the new Cabinet stands at 14 men and 4 women. That puts the current percentage of women in the Obama Cabinet at 22 percent – and there are only four Cabinet-level openings left to fill.
President Clinton’s first Cabinet – 16 years ago – was 37 percent women. In his second term, it climbed to 47 percent women. President Bush began his first term with 22 percent women in his Cabinet. We want that number to go up – not go down or stay the same!
Some more math: women make up 51 percent of the American population and 56 percent of voters. In the 2008 presidential election, women voted for Obama 56 to 49 percent over men.
Dozens of qualified women have been recommended to fill critical slots on the incoming leadership team.
We urge the President-elect and his transition team to act now to improve their record of commitment to naming women to senior positions in the new Administration. It’s not too late.
Such a lack of progress for women underscores the need for real change – now. WomenCount has launched a major petition campaign calling on President-elect Obama to create a Presidential Commission on Women in his first 100 days.
If you haven’t done so, join our call for t he new administration to begin a national conversation on the future of women in our country.
Increasing the number of women in appointed and elected positions in just one of the many issues a Presidential Commission on Women would address.
OHMYGOSH – they are KIDDING, right?? The man who ran the most sexist/misogynistic campaign in DECADES not doing right by women???? Well, golly gee willikers, how can THAT possibly be? Maybe they can put on some Ludicris, Obama’s BFF, and listen to it while they figure this one out. Or how about Jay Z’s, “99 Problems But A Bitch Ain’t One” while they consider why they ever thought a man who flipped Hillary off, brushed her off his shoulder – TWICE – and said not word ONE about his minions’ misogynistic, vulgar language toward her OR Sarah Palin, and pays the women on his staff less than the men, would have more women in his Cabinet.
Have I mentioned that Rev. Rick Warren is also ANTI-CHOICE?? But yeah, Women Count (and PPA, and NARAL, and Emily’s List) – y’all just go ahead and believe that Obama is really going to put more women in his Cabinet.
So far I have refrained from flat out name calling to these people and organizations who are just too blind, too uninformed, too ignorant, and operating with too few brain cells, actual names. But holy Freakin’ Toledo, it is becoming harder and harder to do so. This is me biting my tongue.
Seriously – Obama has done virtually NOTHING to make these people THINK he is going to do these things except words, not at all backed up by actions. In fact, he has already reneged on a number of promises made (FISA anyone). A man (and woman) is only as good as his word, and Obama has made it abundantly clear that the words he says are only to advance his own career, not because he actually CARES about these issues.
Yet, despite his constant deeds showing where he really stands, like asking Rick Warren, proponent of Prop 8, to conduct his Inaugural Invocation, there they still are, fawning and swooning, just waiting for that crumb to drop from the table. Wow. What does it take? Really – what the hell does it take before these groups stop revering this man who has done nothing for them. No, rather he has done things that negatively affect them (remember, he is opposed to Same-Sex marriage, no matter how much people like Ellen Degeneres sang his praises and conveniently failed to mention in her attacks on Sarah Palin for the same thing), and associates himself with known homophobes.
Maybe Jon Stewart should have this conversation with Rev. Warren AND Barack Obama:
It would be nice, but it’ll never happen. We can’t actually acknowledge where Obama stands on these issues. We sure can’t admit he is really no different from Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, OR John McCain. Oh, no…
Holy crap. Have some respect, dammit!! Stop selling yourselves short! Stop buying snake oil from the snake oil salesman! C’mon already!!! Seriously, people. Seriously. Open your eyes. Stop giving Obama “the benefit of the doubt” – on these two issues, he has shown numerous times he does not deserve it.

Amy, excellent article. Hes thrown women and the LGBT community under the bus long time ago. And its amusing that they still don’t know it as yet. When are gonna wake up?
Yes, RRRAmy, fabulous article and spot on.
WomenCount wanting to give him the “benefit of the doubt” ?? — these are the same women with whom I stood on a picket line protesting sexism the primary.
They knew damned good and well from whence it was coming — and it wasn’t just the MSM.
Oh, holy cow, Ani – that is amazing that you stood on a picket line with them during the Primary! Is there something in the water that is making these women lose their minds?? Benefit of the doubt, my foot…
At the same time, where was 0bama participating in the anti-war movement when it came to Iraq? How did he improve the quality of life for his constituents on the south side versus fatten the fat cats like Rezco? What has he ever done other than deliver speeches or write novels? The man is the ultimate fraud.
The fact that he didn’t improve conditions on the south side SHOULD have rung a bell for those looking for a real reformer. Talk is cheap and that seems to be BO’s only long suit. As Rev. Amy so aptly put it –STOP BUYING SNAKE OIL FROM THE SNAKE OIL SALESMAN!
But Axelrod ain’t.
beebop-
I agree.
Read What Sen Obama said to Tim Russert in this interview on 7/25/04 Meet the Press
obama russert meeting
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5488345/
when Russert asked him what he thought of John Kerry’s position on Iraq invasion and what information did Sen Obama have access to at the time that caused him to have different opinion than Sen Kerry about the Iraq invasion…and…did he think Sen Kerry was wrong?

Finger-to-the-wind Iraq Stands
In July of `04, Barack Obama, “I’m not privy to Senate intelligence reports. What would I have done? I don’t know,” in terms of how you would have voted on the war. And then this: “There’s not much of a difference between my position on Iraq and George Bush’s position at this stage.” That was July of `04. And this: “I think” there’s “some room for disagreement in that initial decision to vote for authorization of the war.” It doesn’t seem that you are firmly wedded against the war, and that you left some wiggle room that, if you had been in the Senate, you may have voted for it
Right effing on.
This gay man will take Sarah Palin over 0 any day and twice on Sundays. She is a decent person. He is not.
Xcellent Rev. Amy…Aaaaand Yeah You Told Em’ So…..
Keep Preachin Ethics and Logic to the Rabble…Hallelujah!
NQ is once again the place that stops me from raging my fists in the air alone.
Bleeping obama is a bleeping fraud and the lemmings are still waiting for the bleeping seas to lower.
Nevermind who he actually is that doesn’t matter. What sticks to his cult is the notion of preserving the advertisment of the prouduct O they were sold. We didn’t buy it, we don’t own it, we see him as barackbamboozle the selected thug-in-thief who pandered his way to wealth and fame. He will fail and he will fall and slowly they will wake-up.
I must admit to lmao at all those people who have “come down” off of their obama high to reality.
Reality sucks! We wuz robbed! Deal with it, bots.
Karen, you are most definitely NOT alone!
And yes – it would be funny as hell that these former Obots are going nuts(like Taylor Marsh, who is, apparently, VERY upset abt this whole Warren thing) if they hadn’t been some of the same ones forcing him down our throats! Now we are stuck with this guy, unless some miracle happens…
Thanks for the great comments, folks (and you know, WCA, I can’t help myself with the whole rabble rousing thing!
).
With her extemely small mind, Taylor Marsh confuses the concept of One Thought with Original Thought.
what happened to the birth certificate???

RRRR, that logo is gross. It is a rehash, using O.’s perverted flag logo, of an icon for sexual intercourse which is recognizable around the world. It’s wrong in a lot of ways besides the misguided loyalty.
Speaking of the blind Obotomized loyalty, every time someone brings up something like this it makes me think of something else really crude, the young woman of fable who believed a young man when he said in a passionate moment that he would not really *** all the way, and if he did by accident, he would ** before he *, and for sure he’d respect her in the morning. It’s the same belief mechanism, and as long as people fall for it they will be conned. I never really believed there could be so many people that stupid at the same time, until now.
I hate Jon Stewart now. I used to watch the Daily show religiously, but he offended me deeply during the Republican National Convention. That clip, no matter what you think of gay marriage, shows how disrespectful he is to his guests. He kept interrupting Huckabee. If you want to debate a topic, you have to let the other guy talk. Politics is negotiating and if you won’t let the other guy get a word in, then you cannot meet in the middle. This is why so many issues don’t get resolved in America. Both sides say my way or the highway and both have to bend a little. Geez.
Stewart seems to have all the answers to everything, but he was in the Obama tank instead of the Clinton tank and then he will wonder why the issues he cares about never get a chance. If Stewart is such a damn know it all, maybe he should run for office. Stewart, your job is to do funny news crap. Take your social agenda to Obama and get off the air since you don’t do your job anymore! Obama will keep you busy arguing for his entire term with nary a change you have been waiting for! Dumbass!
An article from Nov 2006:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1745394/posts
Is there some kind of alliance going on here? I’m starting to wonder if Obama is undercover for Rick Warren’s ‘Purpose Driven’ agenda, which, in a nutshell, is Christian world domination
Really a conspiracy whacko?
Or just trolling the NQers who belive Obama is Muslim?
What happened to the meme that we thought he was the anti-Christ? Jeez …. it is so hard to keep up with you B0aplogist!
He has been a Muslim, an atheist, and a Christian. I don’t think he is any of them. I think he’s just an opportunist. Any domination he may impose is more likely to come from whomever gets his ear on a solid basis, not from himself, IMO.
LOL, Amy, great rant as usual! Tell us how you really feel.
This is just disappointing. I mean, you’d think that these communities would be the first to detect the hypocrisy and opportunism–and it’s so blatant! And that “O” in “out’ just makes me sick! I’m sorry, but any group that is so dumb as to not see the writing on the wall deserves what comes to them. I’m not just picking on LGBTs–many others have been bamboozled and will probably never ‘get’ it. Maybe America does deserve Obama.
I’m LGBT and so many of us were not bamboozled.
But these organizations clearly were. Stupid people.
I’m one who voted for Palin because she was honest and open in her feelings. She would have been better for the community because she, as another put it above, is a decent person. Obama is not.
Everyone will feel that soon enough.
Sorry NTZ, didn’t mean any one individually. I just would like to see the leadership of SOME group (women, LGBT, college students, blacks, taxpayers–whatever!) stand up and say ‘Something isn’t right, here!’
I hope you are right about everyone understanding soon enough. (haha! I’m “hoping”!)
At least the proportion of LGBT voters who chose McCain this year was something like 13% larger than it was for Bush in 2004. As far as these organizations go, there is no hope. For the most part they are run for and by celebrity-struck dilettantes who are more interested in parties than progressive politics.
Governor Sarah Palin is such a descent person and I admire her so much that I almost wish she would stay out of politics. We in the lower 48 do not deserve her. The Otrolls and Obots have made George Orwell the greatest prophet of all time.
Obama is no Messiah nor a prophet. He is a profit.
Right you are about Orwell. The support of queer people for 0 is a classic example of “doublethink,” holding two mutually opposed ideas in your mind and believing in both of them. The scrubbing of news media websites to eliminate stories that give the lie to what the Leader says on any given day does not even require a Ministry of Truth—the media does it on their own. Today’s troll is tomorrow’s Thought Policeman. And the beat goes on.
The text of Orwell’s essay “Politics and the English Language” may easily be found online. It’s a must read—while it’s still available.
Well, you know, Palin at least acknowledged that she has gay friends/family, and they actually DISCUSS these issues. And McCain stood up for representatives who came out of the closet. I’ll take a “walk the walk” person over a “talk the talk” person any day of the week.
The obvious point is that HILLARY should have been the choice ANYWAY. SHE is the one with the record for the GLBT community, and Obama not so much.
I agree – Obama has been quite clear how he really feels abt GLBT people ever since this whole thing began. His choice of associates, his choice for his Faith Tour, Donnie McClurkin, opposition to Same Sex marriage, the constant backtracking on “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” all of it. So, yeah – I agree – those in the community who are surprised by this deserve what they get.
And csuzeg, I used to watch Jon Stewart religiously, too, until he made it CLEAR he was in the tank for Obama. Clinton was his senator, for pete’s sake, and by all accounts, she has done GREAT work for the state of NY. She is far more progressive on the issues that Stewart claims to care abt, yet he, like everyone else of their ilk, gave into their crushes on Obama (still don’t get that, either), rather than look at the MAN and his “record.”
Bemused, I agree – that symbol is disturbing on a number of levels, especially incorporating the Obama logo. Blech.
Yeah, Jon Stewart truly lacks class. I don’t watch him anymore. His rudeness is unnecessary and childish.
But Jon does not care, because he is a friend of Oprah. She loves him.
He’s good as long as she doesn’t roll over on him …. lol
Obama thinks that he is Moses, except Moses never came down from the mountain with the “10 suggestions.”
It’s clear that Obama is seeking to keep the evangelical right quieted down by the inclusion of Warren.
Obama is thereby neutralizing a force that is very, very good at being against things, and not good at having as an annoyance.
It’s quite the crafty bamboozle.
I want to see Ellen cry on TV over this, like she did about Palin, who would never have pulled a stunt like this.
Ellen cried on TV over Palin? What was that about?

Some people are very upset that this is coming out! There are now new videos up of the Dean Deposition. Had we known of this suit, during the primaries, some wouldn’t feel so hurt now.
The irony is, Howard Dean was one of the first to once Obama got into power. Evidently the current crowd do not agree with what he’s trying to do.
“first to go”
But yeah, Women Count (and PPA, and NARAL, and Emily’s List) – y’all just go ahead and believe that Obama is really going to put more women in his Cabinet.
Don’t forget NOW, who refused to make a peep about the Favreau incident too.
These groups are a joke. I stopped supporting the Human Rights Campaign when they endorsed Obama. For anyone who is paying attention to the actual facts, his homophobia and sexist attitudes were obvious months ago. That’s the problem though: so many people are caught up in the “historical image” they refuse to see the details of his character and record. Now they are crying and whining. Too bad–we warned you.
fif, I hope they are crying and whining. I really hope so. I fear that they are not going to cry and whine enough. They voted– and used their position to try and sway others– to vote for a homophobe misogynist. All was obvious if they cared to see.
Now– all is more and more obvious. Will they recant their support of Zero? Or will they just dance for equality while they vote for inequality?
As an LGBT and a woman, I have been disgusted by women’s groups and gay groups that threw their hat behind the Zero. I want them to cry good and hard and then get their pathetic orgs back into reality and do some real work. Real work means getting rid of Obama ASAP.
Absolutely – I didn’t leave NOW out on purpose, that’s for sure. They most DEFINITELY belong in that whole group. Thanks for mentioning them!
Right there with ya, FIF, abt the HRC. When they chose to endorse Obama after singing HRC’s (!) praises up one side and down the other, how she had done more for our community than anyone else, blah, blah, blah, I terminated my 20+ yr membership right then and there. After ALL of the homophobes with whom Obama has surrounded himself?? Please. They sold out, and for what, money? Well, they’ll not be getting any more of mine, that’s for sure…
Thanks, SarainItaly and Tricia! Appreciate that!
Lee, I hear ya.
Amen Rev. Amy!
All of the information about Obama’s (and Coward Dean) band of homophobes was out for all to see for months. Any informed voter knew this info– if they cared about these issues. The fact that these LGBT orgs and women’s orgs supported the Zero is inexcusable. These orgs are supposed to –their very mission– is to watch for the interests of the communities they serve. Their pathetic failure at this is mind numbing.
great job Amy! I want to get a shirt printed up that says, *Don’t blame me, I voted for Hillary*
people were blind.
Me Too!
This is a bit off topic, but did anybody notice that without a teleprompter Barky isn’t all that articulate? It’s “um, er, uh . . .” My college sophomore daughter is a better public speaker than he is.
Notice? Notice? Notice?
PLEASE!!!!
It was there for anyone to see!
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
Thanks RRRAmy!!!
I am Gay/LGBT and voted for McCain / Palin after Clinton was forced out by precious.
Thank you for your post this morning. After reading about Warren, on top of all the other garbage this election season, I again, fired off several emails to both pro-LGBT and feminist organizations and let ‘er rip!
I have a lot of friends in the LGBT community here in S.F., and every single one of them voted for PEekaBOo. As a matter of fact, I
amwas friends for 16 years with a gay couple who’ve been together for 27 years. We spent countless hours talking about how wrong it was that I could get married, but they could not. And yet, because I chose not to support PEekaBOo, they will no longer talk to me.I work in a retail shop in the Castro District (the predominantly gay district) and of course the issues of PEekaBOo and same-sex marriage come up frequently. I’ve still yet to hear one person condemn him for his lack of support for gay marriage or for his refusal to support the LGBT community in any way, ever. When I bring that up, all I ever get is a shrug of the shoulders and a “well, I’m sure he’ll come around.”
I don’t get it, I just don’t get it.
A little time, a little patience, SFIndie. It has to really sink in that Obama will do nothing for the LGBT community. The honeymoon is gonna be over soon, and reality will hit them between the eyes.
I’d like to see a remake of the Christmas Carol with the murdered choir master of Trinity as the ghost of Christmas past. Poor little Obama wouldn’t want to see him, I’m guessing. I want to see Larry Sinclair as the spirit of Christmas Future. It is time for Obama to face some of those roosting chickens. It is time, Obama. It is time.
Perhaps some of those in the Chicago LGBT community would like to say what they know of Mr. Homophobe.
What a nice Christmas present that would be.
Notice that you can’t find a Bush supporter these days. This same type of denial is going on with Obama. They know Obama won’t come around but they can’t admit it.
yeah really, what does “come around” mean?
These misguided folk supported Zero because they thought he was human rights minded. How do you come around to care about human rights? The good old dem party… the party of equality. No more.
The only way for Obama to come around is to be forced to come around. With these orgs still waving their little Obama pom poms, there’s no force applied to the Zero.
Soon it will be, “I just don’t want to know” when people’s rights are being crushed.
Well, “they came for the jews…”(et al).
Oh, SFIndie, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your long-time friends. On some level, they must know you are right, and hopefully, at some point, they will stop ignoring the reality of who Obama is. In the meantime, I hate to hear that you lost friends over this.
And honestly, I do not get the GLBT community on this, either. Do Not Get It. My sister (who is straight) kept sending me crap abt how bad McCain is on GLBT issues, and said NOTHING when I told her he and Obama have the same position on same sex marriage. The DIFFERENCE is, though, that McCain has actually stood up for gay people in his life, and Obama surrounds himself with gay HATERS. Big ol’ difference, if you ask me…
It is sad that people are losing friends over this. I have tried this year to avoid political discussions with friends of the Kool-Aid persuasion. I let everyone know where I stood, and made it clear that I would not bring up the subject out of regard for harmony in our friendship. But if they couldn’t behave themselves, and resist the urge to do some Palin-bashing, I let ‘em have it. After that happened a couple of times, most of them came around to the “off limits” policy.
In all honesty, though, I am beginning to lose respect for one person in particular. She is a lesbian who bombards me daily with hopey-changey e-mails about 0 and the New Day dawning. She lives in California, and somehow believes that Sarah Palin was responsible for passage of Prop 8, despite overwhelming evidence that 0 voters were responsible for putting it over the top. Maybe I should feel sorry for her. But when you start feeling sorry for your friends, that’s probably when the friendship is over.
Good for you. Dump her ass. Same shit happened to me. And Yes right here in “tolerant” LibbyLand; the peoples republic of California. I sent back a molten hot email that melted the biatches screen. They now know to zip their flapping cake-holes when I am around.
sorry to hear that, andrew.
I’m completely digusted with people who are shocked by the hypocrite Obama. Serves ‘em right the entire lot of ‘em. It has really angered me that we were completely ignored and treated with such incredible disrespect by our “fellow” Democrats. Arses, the lot of ‘em.
Thanks Rev. Amy. I lost gay friends over Obama. I would rather discuss abortion and gay issues with Palin, than the guys and their women who give lip service instead of real support. Why do women think we have to have men as intermediaries for our rights or the rights of others? My gay friends didn’t know that Sarah vetoed a bill that would have denied benefits to partners. I stopped donating to the Human rights campaign when their mag came with a cover photo celebrating Obama.
Good Helen. Shows that you got some grit. When you have friends that are mere Obamatrons it is time to upgrade. And since they are no longer your friends, feel free to tell them what you really think.
It has always worked for me.
You know, I won’t tell them off – we’ll still be friends. I don’t need to dump on them. After the AA voters on Prop 8 in CA, along with this – and probably more to come – life is going to be very painful. I have an acquaintance who is transgendered from male to female, and is AA to boot. This is going be really difficult for her. I just wish minorities understood that getting rid of sexism would also undermine a lot of the other phobias.
These outrages he commits may be the one thing that FINALLY gets the MSM to vet him in a serious way, so that we only have one term of Obama-nation to suffer through. As the MSM and the Followers awaken from their kool-aid comas and see what so many of us saw from the first debate, there will be many more outcries. But it will take a long time because, as you so succinctly said, they will be waiting for a crumb to fall from the table, then praise him for it – right up until they starve from neglect. Maybe they’ll be PUMAs in the next life
“We sure can’t admit he is really no different from Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, OR John McCain.”
Even though Biden said in the VP debate with Governor Palin, “there’s no difference between us on these issues.”
EXACTLY!! That’s why what Ellen Degeneres did on her show is SO disingenuous! She was dumping on Palin, but never said WORD ONE abt Biden! Here’s the link to the youtube video (and sorry – I cannot get the link thing to function in these comment sections EVER): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm-VpRDxAjk
Not ONE WORD abt Biden and Obama. Not one.
And she had Ludicris on the other day. That “musician” who had the horrible song abt Hillary. I won’t watch her anymore. I have lost a lot of respect for her, too, after being pro-Hillary, then jumping on the bandwagon with Obama in a BIG way. Sheesh.
Well, I fought the good fight. At this point there’s not much to do but make some popcorn, pour myself a toddy, and watch progressive heads explode. I’m especially looking forward to watching the misogynistic jerks, Andrew Sullivan and John Avarosis, go sliding under the bus. Whooosh!
Thanks RRRA, for another great post. I am furious, even though I am not totally surprised. It will be interesting to see how my friends who supported this false entity spin this news.
My hunch is this is O’s first move towards running in 2012. We all know he is a good campaigner; what the rest of the world needs to know is that he can’t govern. This choice proves it – there was no need to bring this divisive person on board to do the invocation. Disgusting.
Anyone who voted for Obama is a sexist pig — just like he is a sexist pig.
I WILL call people names — after calling me a RACIST every single day for months — these creeps stripped my name calling inhibition.
Some gays are sexist pigs — the ones who would rather vote for a penis than a woman. Some of my gay friends have really disappointed me — I thought they had better critical decision making abilities than to vote for 0zero.
Do you really think that Obama is going to give you gays rights? Obama is a rumored reformed ex-gay man who practice Roman 25 in the New Testament and let this passage be his guide. He permitted a reform ex-gay man to travel with him to alert others to change their lifestyle and practice what Roman 25 addresses. We all knew this- even if some of us are conservatives and moderates, but, the liberals such as some of you just seemed to forget. Obama detest this lifestyle and if you think that he is for gay rights or human rights for all equality- come over here and I will sell you a highway in Florida. He could have picked a moderate pastor- but- he picked the most anti-gay pastor in the history books. I personally have read the pastor’s books and I can tell you that this man will today -and tomorrow be Obama’s spirtual advisor. Boy! How foolish some of you must feel!
