Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the “champions” of “Chicago’s democratic left” and a long-time socialist activist. Obama’s stint as a “community organizer” in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

How you could compose an entire polemic on the state of the American economy and reduce it to an analogy about Jeremy Piven leaving a play is beyond me.

And did you notice the nasty items in the screenshot i took of the stories listed at Google News? That he’s “short” and “balding.” Good god.

No wonder American Idol got elected.

And what does Piven’s leaving his role for whatever reason have to do with the ailing economy? Are we supposed to surmise that this very successful actor is delivering a slap in the face to hard workers everywhere because of his actions? If so, I think Mr. Gregory is stretching the bounds for this theme of his.

Er, uh, aah, would that be anything like P.E. Obama blowing, squandering, spending his hard earned supporters dough to the tune of $6 million for his faux Grecian temple and another $2 million for his election night extravaganza?

Pardon me, but I think that is a little more egregious a slap in the face to the American worker in this economy that whatever Mr. Piven is doing.
