I don’t like using the term racist — Buy some times it fits.

If you are the leader of the oldest All white club,

And you are making No Blacks need apply calls

You just might be a racist!

If you are calling the SOS of a state and asking him to not sign a Black mans certification.

You just might be a racist!

If you are then using this clerical detail to deny the First Black Man appointed to your all white club since Reconstruction his lawful position,

You just might be a racist.

If you are out rounding up armed thugs to keep a Black Man from taking his lawful place in the Senate of the United States,

You just might be a racist.

If you have done ALL of the above,

And Harry Reid has,

You are definitely a racist with a capital R.

Harry Reid is a racist and should be removed from his Senate Majority status.

It should be offered to Hilary.

But the thing is for the rest of the buy-the-hype American public is the perception of racism within the Democratic Party. As much as us here realize that there are other reasons for appointing Burris, as well as opposing his nomination, the rest of the American public just see Senate Democrats (white man Reid) saying they won’t let a Black man replace Obama. Obama’s subsequent lack of support for an AA replacement should put a pallor on his presidency if one follows this logic because now even the Black Caucus is talking about a show down. But in all reality, it probably won’t hurt Obama specifically because of the kool-aid, unless Black Republicans can use this to great effect some time down the road (i.e., reelection time). It does however hurt the Democratic Party and shows their hubris during a time when they are needed to show unity to deal with more pressing problems! Remember that word? Instead the Dems look petty and power-crazed, like us PUMAs have been saying all along this year. The facade has already cracked and the Democrats haven’t even assumed power yet. What a great job the Deanocrats/Obamacrats are doing.

I fear for this country. If Obama can’t even trump someone in his own political party, how the hell is he gonna be able to do it with international thugs?

The Dems are looking like real idiots! I’m so glad I ceded my membership to become an Independent.

But don’t worry we all can have yet another big party on Jan 20th for his coronation.

Never mind.

I mean, I don’t know, myself. But I didn’t like being called racist simply for objecting to a presidential candidate who happened to be black. I don’t want to see us take up the “cause” of calling every rejection of a black person “racist”, the same thing that was misappropriately applied to us.

I think Reid is being very unethical and illegal. Having said that, though, I don’t know his mind, and as it has been reported that he doesn’t want someone in there who probably won’t win in 2 years, his actions may not be racist at all. This guy, Burris, is 70 years old. He may not run in the future, let alone get elected. So that may actually be Reid’s objection, not the color of his skin.
